THE $2 MILLION DOLLAR APEX STORY | iiTzTimmy's Pro Return.
"The Dojo documentary" (edited by Swell) details Timmy's return to the pro scene and the boys' journey from LCQ (short recap) to the bootcamp and the whole ALGS Year 3 Championship that took place in Birmingham, UK on the 6-10 September, 2023.
It was amazing! Since it was in the UK, I was able to watch all the matches live and I don't think I've been so excited and invested over an e-sport championship. For regular sport yes, but never game related competitions. But since I have a team to root for this time, it becomes so much more entertaining to watch.

Bc I need a pick me up and I also just had surgery, I give you an AU where Rae manages to get the vipers to the modern world
Here’s some things that I think they’d do
Key wants to teach Rae’s ex a lesson. She has to talk him down from his original ideas. They settle for egging his car to start.
It takes a while, but Marius no longer thinks of cars as these hulking metal beasts to fear. He actually learns to drive and ofc is a big stickler for the rules. What he does fear is Eric’s driving.
After getting over the scandal of it all, Emer takes to wearing pants. Especially sweatpants and leggings now that she’s learned about the gym and the myriad of sports she can try out. She is absolutely not wearing anything with writing on the butt, no matter how much Rae and Eric insist on them all matching.
They immediately take Lia to the optometrist and she gets decision paralysis trying to pick out a set of frames. The other vipers help, Eric and Rae picking a few that are far too flashy in her opinion. She ends up with a simple pair and is elated. The other two convince her to get prescription sunglasses with snakes on them though.
They go to the grocery and are in complete awe of all the options readily available. Marius and Emer are taken aback by the junk food and sweets that the others try at Rae and Eric’s suggestion. Marius, Emer, and Key immediately take to coffee and buy plenty. Marius won’t admit that he bought the huge tub of vanilla ice cream.
Rae has a horror movie marathon with Key. Ofc he calls out all the dumb decisions and says he could defeat the killers easily. Rae doesn’t doubt that he could if he figured out a way into their stories. Key is especially nitpicky when it comes to zombie movies.
They go to the club. Marius guards drinks while the others dance. Some guys make a pass at Lia, Rae steps in, they make a pass at her, and it takes all the vipers to stop Key from committing murder. There’s still a bar fight though. Lia’s tears help them narrowly avoid getting kicked out with the other guys.
They go to a convention and are simultaneously amazed and horrified by the number fans. Eric insists on dressing up as himself so he can properly meet all of them. He also buys plenty of art with himself and Marius. Key doesn’t think that the art of his lady captures her well enough.
They scheme their way into the Eras Tour (Key found a scalper and threatened them). Rae goes in the Reputation bodysuit much to the appreciation of Key who wears black to match. Eric is bedazzled from head to toe and Marius is convinced to wear a tshirt. Lia tries a dress with cowboy boots and Emer decorates a denim jacket. They all wear friendship bracelets. Key shows off the one Rae made him. Meanwhile, Marius refused to wear one till Eric feigned being heartbroken. Lia took to making them very fast, so she and Emer carry basket fulls.
Key gets into video games. He lets Rae win more often than she thinks, just to make her happy. She doesn’t know that he’s quickly becoming one of the top esports players in the country.
Marius learns about Eric’s lost love Netflix. He likes the documentaries and such. He’s horrified by Bridgerton.
Rae teaches them the Hot to Go dance. Lia loves it and Emer takes some convincing. She does like Chapell Roan and Good Luck Babe really gets to her.
Musical numbers aren’t uncommon. No one is surprised when Rae and Eric, or even Lia, burst into song. Everyone is a little surprised when they catch Key singing. Rae isn’t surprised that he likes Heathers of all things.
Feel free to add more~

If Bumblebee is into esports he probably gets into screaming matches in vc with random players on Overwatch or Pokémon Unite or smth
A bit off topic but one time I literally got so mad after losing a ranked match in Pokémon Unite that I had a nasty migraine for like two hours and I feel like that would probably happen to Bee
Surprisingly, no.
Bee tends to avoid online multiplayer games other than the times he plays with his teammates/human friends online.
One time when he was still learning to play games he joined an online lobby for CS:GO, despite Sari warning him not to do that, and got heavily shit talked by some kids. Prowl found him crying in the hallway and comforted him after he couldn't figure out how to turn off the game to watch his documentaries. He never plays with strangers online, it's just not worth his mental health.

my friend showed me the faker documentary, and by the end of it i had crafted a sakuatsu league of legends esports AU, enemies to lovers, two beefing anonymous players who end up on the same team. the horror of realizing the player who has terrorized you for years is hot. AND they’re in bot together. my friend is sick of me

the new VCT documentary series is... kinda weird?
the gameplay footage was too short for me and edited off-sync with the casting; most teams were barely mentioned or not mentioned at all, making this international event feels very small; it feels more like a recap video with bts footage than a documentary (imo)
so here are the storylines and narratives they tried to squeeze into this 30-minute video:
the cinderella story of Zeta
LOUD making Brazil proud
the rise of minor regions teams
Benkai being a goofball (?)
Fnatic losing (????)
esports mental health (??)
and I want to talk about them briefly one by one:
the underdog story of Zeta Division is probably the biggest headline for Masters Reykjavik. it ties in with the minor region narrative as Japan was considered a weak region. this was handled ok in the documentary. you do get a sense of how they defied expectations and how important it was for Japan. but because the storylines are so scattered, you dont feel the momentum building or the emotional through line (imo)
LOUD had high expectations representing Brazil and they did achieve the region's best result internationally. However, a big part of LOUD’s story is their rivalry with Optic formed at this masters, and Optic was completely absent until their lower finals with Zeta
there was a weird moment during the grand finals where pansy was talking about “this is a wake up call” for major regions and you can't underestimate any team, while Optic, a major region team, is 1-0 up against a “minor region” team in the grand finals... like????? major region is doing pretty well here 😅 (a better time to bring that up would be when PRX beat The Guard)
so benkai is a goofball and wears silly costumes to walkouts. he presents a different personality to those that view esports in a very serious and formal manner. this would be cool if he is put in contrast with player opposite of his views, but there isn't one? (ig Laz takes esports seriously but that would undermine the first storyline, and it’s not Laz’s vibe anyway)
I understand Boaster is very charismatic but Fnatic has no place in this documentary other than being the loser, feel bad for me please 🥺 and they dont even do that right! the tragedy of Fnatic’s performance was that their star player got covid and their other key player had visa issues and neither of them could participate in the event. to sum it up as “they had to play with subs” makes it seem like this is a new team (kinda like LOUD) that still need to find their footing when in reality this shouldn't be the team at all.
this doesn't feel well-thought-out. its kinda like they had this footage of pansy talking about mental health and decided to cram it in there. I guess it relates to the pressure from Brazil for LOUD? but Sacy never really said anything about it. the timing was not the best.

LCS Video Feature - DUOS: Crown & CoreJJ (2019)
This was the first shoot I ever styled w/ the video team. That year we used to go shopping with the players to pick out their outfits for the shoots, but Crown wasn’t available so I bought this jacket hoping he’d like it (luckily he did). CoreJJ I went shopping with and he picked out this shirt himself. Crown is wearing his own clothes otherwise and his own jewelry that we requested him to wear to the shoot!
Crown’s jacket is from The Kooples  CoreJJ’s shirt is from Zara, and the jacket he’s wearing is his own Photography by Shannon Cottrell
