Nendou- dead dad, mother cares for him atleast but is hardly there due to the amount of work shes doing to support the family

Kaido- dad is hardly mentioned, his mom is like me when it comes to grades but worse (i consider a 94 not doing good which is a horrible mindset of which i am trying to fix)

Akechi- divorce

Aren- his parents raised him in a horrible setting for a child to be raised in and and are most likely hardly at the house ("oh yeah thats how i learned how to cook too!" -him when responding to nendo saying he has to cook for himself since his moms always working and barely there) luckily his father is seemingly getting better though his mother still isnt seen much

Aiura- no seriously how are her parents fine with her working at a fortune teller stand that is sexual in present8ion (thank god it isnt actually sexual) and move schools just cuz she saw in a fortune that her soulm8 is there

mera- poor af her dad was being chased by loan sharks and escaped to puerto rico atleast he didnt want to put his family in danger so thats nice

saiko- his dad had raised his son on the saying that money could buy anything this man shaped his son to buy friends and never have an actual life to which he can support himself

he literally does not deserve her (or really, so far, anyone in my mind) after years of her just being a thought in his head and then espesh the bs in the s2 finale - then again really idrc much for any of the bridgerton men thus far.... i know the show's named after them but (as is a pattern with me in life) i really care about the female characters so much more. s1 was daphnes story. s2 was kates story. s3 is penelope's. i know im supposed to see it the other way round in the latter 2 cases but.... (i dunno. maybe make the men cooler than 'he was a rake/slept around alot and didnt know what to do in the world til he found love in her' ? although to be fair they DID make Anthony a compelling character in his season. they just have yet to do that with Colin)

she deserves someone who didn't HAVE to grow to love her after writing her off or suddenly realize she's always been beautiful

the Whistledown plotline.... like... is he just gonna shut up and accept it? is she gonna have to convince him its okay? is he gonna become a co-Whistledown the way Dan and Jenny were BOTH Gossip Girl? this gripe gets its own point later on

so i havent read the books but from what i heard about them the queen isnt a character in them and so i think the whole 'who's the gossiper' isnt a plot in the books too

and so i wish that this and gossip girl 1 had just been like 'she's here she exists we tolerate it lets go' cuz it's causing ANOTHER plot line to be added into this very loaded season

and it's TEDIOUS especially because we KNOW this wont end with Pen on trial for treason or her and Colin shunned by society cuz this isnt THAT DEEP of a show so WHAT are we doing here?

Benedict gets his own story soon doesnt he? so why are we getting another him + random woman plot?

I need more Team Runaway headcanons

When the other Kage start hearing about this team of dangerous shinobi from the leaf, they think they're adults. After all, only adults can wreck this mucb havoc on their plans and missions, right?

They are PISSED when they find out it's actually two 11 year olds and a 14 year old. Seriously livid. The raikage actually asks his shinobi when tf they became weaker than some kids.

To say they hear 'shit the white fang!' A lot on their first few missions together is an understatement. A lot of shinobi see the silver hair and lightening style and flash back to konoha's white fang. It takes them a moment to remmember that he's actually dead and they're getting their ass kicked by his son and friends.

The team definitly still has missions together after Kakashi joins Anbu. There are just some missions that require this specific team up and Minato is not sending anyone else.

When Kakashi pulls Tenzou out of root Rin and Gai immidiatly welcome him into their little family/team. He hasn't had this many people excited to meet him in..well ever. It's a little overwhelming at first but he gets used to it.

Rin absolutly bugs Yamato about his little crush on Kakashi every chance she gets. She will not let him live it down, ever.

Kakashi's the one who notices Shizun's crush on rin and tell's rin to either ask her out or tell her she's not interested. Stop torturing her. Rin of course thinks this is precious coming from Kakashi 'lusting after my best friend but refusing to ask him out' Hatake

Rin and Kakashi ask Shizune and Gai out on the same day because neither of them wants the other to beat them to it after the arguement they have about it.

Rin and Gai love making jokes about Kakashi being the 'baby of the group' espeshally because Kakashi is always the team Captain and it pisses him off to no end.

When Gai finally gets his brand new team of adorable Genin he is beyond excited. He gushes to Rin and Kakashi about them whenever they're hanging out and makes sure to tell them all about each of hus genin's talents and how amazing they are.

Rin is far less enthused than Gai, but when she becomes the leader of Team 7 she still can't help but talk about her team. Even if some of the time it's 'i'm going to kill Naruto and Sauske, and that's only if they don't manage to kill each other first.' Sakura is of course her face. Logical and down to earth and not a pain in her ass.

Gai and Rin love doing team training sessions together. It allows their genin to have a change in who they're training against. They love it even more when Kakashi is home and they can drag him into training with them. He makes it so much more fun cuz he's always being brutally honest with their students and the poor kids don't know how to handle it

Rin and Gai get a little jelouse when Kakashi and Yamato start working together on team Ro because they almost immidiatly meld together as a team and work effectuvely. It took them years to get Kakashi to work with them that easily. Rin says they paved the way for Yamato and he got it easy XD Yamato disagrees cuz Kakashi's a dick and even when they fight well together he's still beyond difficult to work with

When Kakashi and Yamato get their promotions after Tsunade becomes Hokage, Rin and Gai take them out for a celebration dinner. It ends up beong a terrible idea because all four of them get drunk and end up destroying the place (it's ok. Yamato helps rebuild after Kakashi, Rin and Gai help clean up) and at some point Kakashi absolutly ends up in the streets of Konoha without his pants. He never lives it down

Clems heart melted at the sight. Louis and aj had been with eachother, bonding about the little things.

It made her happy knowing he cared about aj and that he was willing to take care of him, he meant alot more to him than she thought. and the fact that aj also cared about louis showed that they  were willing to work.

“ stop!!” aj yelled giggling as louis tickled him, he was so happy and peaceful in a world full of shit. it made clem happy to know someone other than her could make him happy, espeshally someone  she loved dearly.

Louis loved bolth of them equally, aj was like a son to him. " no goofball" he said tickling him even more than before. Clemintine layed herself against the doorframe, hoping it would last forever. But no, marlon had yelled for them to get thr hunting group back.

All 3 of them sighed as they walked out the door. Clemintine followed them out, seeing aj glare at marlon for interuppting the time they had together.

Marlon walked up to clem as she stopped at the stairs. " i diddent mean to ruin you're 'family time', but we got work to do". She turned her head.

"Sont worry as long as i got my 'family'". Marlon looks at her smiling, while she waved off to join the others.

Hearing such worries from Shikaku left a terrible taste in Yua’s mouth. The thought of him belivong that she would scold him to the point where he was already promising to fix it, even before their conversation.

The way of Shinobi would never make any sense to her. How they could leave a child so adverse to conversation or confrontation.

“I’m not going to scold you,” she informed him, pointing at a seat for him to take while she started the tea. “I am simply… concerned about some of the things Kakashi is learning when he spends time with you.”

Things she would rather not have her son learn at all if possible, but Espeshally not as such a young age.

"Ano... Yua-san? Kakashi-kun said you wanted to see me?" A teenage Shikaku knocked on the front door of the Hatake residence politely, wondering if this was a prank from the troublesome child, but also not ready to risk Sakumo-sensei's lecturers if it wasn't.

Yua hadn’t expected her son to act so quickly, or at all really. She had made the comment about needing to ‘chat’ with Shikaku to her husband.

The fact that her son had decided to take matters into his own hands to ensure that conversation happened was both impressive and a little concerning. Still, Shikaku was here now so might as well get it over with.

“My son is.. well,” she sighed, wondering just where Kakashi got his more trollish nature from. It certainly wasn’t sakumo and she hardly fit into that personality. Was this the cost of a Samurai sleeping with a Shinobi? “I did want to talk to you, yes. If you’re available.”

Haruno Sakura

Saving Kankuro’s life. Suna’s Medical Shinobi had been working tirelessly to save Kankuro and couldn’t do anything, and then Sakura rolled in to save the day. From tying her hair back to shooing her teammates out of the room and shifting into doctor mode, every second of it was beautiful. Sakura really showed a skill for leadership here by calming giving order’s and working at taking the poison out of Kankuro’s body. A great show of how much she had grown in more than just strength.

Destroying the ground to find Kakashi. Not only is the look on both Kakashi and Naruto’s faces hilarious, but it really shines on her growth. In her first bell test Sakura sort of sat there thinking she had her eyes on Kakashi and got tricked. Here, Sakura knows better and is shown thinking through the steps to finding her Sensei before targeting the ground and destroying his hiding place. It was really cool and got my hopes up for her growth.

Punching Kaguya. Was she dropped by Kakashi? Yes. Was it still bad ass to see her punch a goddess so hard she stopped her in her tracks? Absolutly. Without Sakura’s strength Naruto and Sasuke may never have sealed Kaguya and while it wasn’t a perfect show of what i hoped we would see in her skills, it was still pretty friggen cool.

Fighting Sasori. Throughout the whole fight Sakura is at her best. She’s ready for action and even Sasori (who’s rather full of himself) is impressed by her.

Unlocking her Byakugou. Just the reaction everyone had was beautiful. Shizune recognizing that Sakura had done something she couldn’t manage, Tsunade and Kakashi being proud of their student, and Naruto even celebrating her achievement and being just a little scared of her sheer power when she dove into battle.

Protecting Naruto and Sasuke. Up until this point Sakura hadn’t gotten a chance to do much with the team, but in the chunin exam’s she finally got the opportunity to be the protectir. Surprising Zaku who had underestimated her traps, refusing to give up, and just holding on and keeping her teammate alive until back up could arrive. It was all really cool to see and showed us some actual progress in her character that i loved.

Using the Qi release to free herself and Naruto from Kabuto’s genjutsu. A small but sweet moment that allowed Sakura to shine in a way neither of her teammates did. I love the little tidbit of Kakashi teaching her something the boys don’t learn and her being able to use it effectively in an important moment.

I also really love that she’s constantly bullying Kakashi and calling him out for being late. She’s not here for her Sensei’s shit and it’s fun to see because Kakashi deserves to get roasted once in a while.

Crushing a creeps hand. In Guardian’s of the crescent moon kingdom, Sakura deals with an adult being creepy towards her on the perfect way. By crushing his hand. This is made espeshally satisfactory because Kakashi, who spends the entire first part of the movie pulling Naruto from having a fist fight with said creeps son, just stands there proudly saying that she’s strong. Kakashi knows when to restrain his children and when to let them put a creep in their place and i will forever love that Sakura got to do this. (This scene is made extra special for me because i HATE this movie)

I went out to eat with my mother and she’s in one of those moods where she acts all

So it took a while to get the ice off my car and when we got to the resturaunt it was late

When they asked us what brought us in she said “she’s hungry” so like as a past server I know how annoying it is when people come in late and on the few times I do it I eat quick and get out before closing - but I’m still aware that the servers are probably upset

So it just annoyed the crap out of me that she didn’t just say “we’re hungry” thereby not putting the entire blame of us being there on me. And also it was true

She always does shit like that. Then she pretended she had no idea why that would bother me and just

But before that we had went to a different place not realizing they didn’t serve food

Suddenly she gets in an alcohol mood and is like “can we get a drink”

I literally haven’t eaten all day and we just drove out in the freezing cold and I should watch you drink and get retarded?? No cause like I can’t drink without food - I’m driving.

And getting to my point

Both times I just annoyed responded to her. Which makes me look like a complete bitch to the onlooking bartenders.

And it just made me think how when I was serving I once had this table who I was sure the husdband was beating his wife and son because he had full control over what they ate and just the looks on their faces when he moved and the way he talked to me like I was her literal servant

And I mean the whole given picture I still think I’m right on that one

But so my mother flinches when you talk back to her angerly. Regardless of whether she’s talking to you like a psycho bitch or if she’s in one those “I’m so sweet” moods like she was tonight

And it’s literally one of the MOST annoying things she’s does because no one fucking hits her!!

There’s been times when she comes at me and I push her back - espeshally when I was younger (it actually stopped because my dog used to yell at her and since she wasn’t around much she knew if she actually hit me in front of my dog she woulda gotten bit)

But the fact that when you tell her to stop being an asshole she’s makes a face like a little kid and flinches like you’re about to hit her - to the average onlooker looks like I hit her at home.

And it really irritates me.

That’s another reason I hate going places with her

1) she makes me look like an abuser

2) she’s a gross and embarrassing human

3) she’s rude to workers when she’s in a bad mood - which is most of the time

4) she instigates fights with me and will scream in public - which is even worse in that - she doesn’t listen to people unless you scream back —— so either she goes on a complete tyrade in which she screams that you’re the one making her act like a literal bull in a china shop and anything that will make onlookers blame her commotion on you. Or you yell at her to stop in which case now I’m also yelling in a public place which is just inappropriate

Koji- almost instantly out of the game. Dude was barley survint for 30 years and the only reason he was surviving was because water was a part of his power, but the wrath/vengeance kept him going

Nakano- one year away from perishing. Had the river’s all completly dried up she would have been done for

Houki- actually @bumblebeekitten and i chatted about this and there’s a flower that grows in wetlands that can go dormant for YEARS to survive (i forget the name XD) and Houki does that. He hides himself away in that flower seed and is carried about from the wetlands by Yamato. Yamato puts him in the river and Nakano carries him out to the ocean where Rin keeps him safe until Kakashi’s return.

Hiroki: as he is not Kakashi’s biological son or attached to rain/water he actually is fine, but mentally he is not ok at all. For his entire life rain has been his calming force and now it is no more and Hiroki is not handling anything well at all :) he’s actually losing his mind, espeshally being forced to watch as Nakano slowly dies because she’s his sweet little sister whom he adores and who took care of his own daughter after her death for centuries. Hiroki is in terrible shape mentally

Yua’s bday is today? YUA’S BDAY IS TODAY!!!! Happy birthday to her!! I am gifting her two of my favorite fairy tale/romance books.

The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale is about a princess who is suddenly told she has to marry a foreign prince to keep the peace. She had grown up thinking she was her country’s crown Princess. On the journey to the new kingdom, she is betrayed and takes on the guise of a peasant looking for work. There’s magic and love and betrayal.

Then there’s Beauty by Robin McKinley. As its name suggests, it’s a Beauty and the Beast retelling. It’s more true to the original tale than the Disney versions.

Yua happily takes the books and excuses herself. There’s a little of reading to do and she’s espeshally excited to start with ‘The Goose Girl’ as she has always imagined finding her Princess one day and rescuing her

(Unfortunately for her, her Princess is badass and more than capable of protecting herself, but that doesn’t stop Yua from swooning over her XD)

She loves the books and will probably be sharing them with her son as soon as she’s done reading them, because Unfortunatly for him he got his mother’s love of romance novels and she can’t NOT share

Ohhh i have so many idea’s it’s hard ro choose just one. But, for your KakaObi loving brain

There’s this one thought i had of Yua and Obito meeting after the fourth great shinobi war. Where Obito lives and returns to the village, perhaps even spends some time in jail (like sasuke did) before being released with some restrictions.

And one of the first people he see’s when he’s let out is Yua, Kakashi’s mom.

Obito expects to be yelled at. To be scolded and insulted for everything he has done, and he feels he deserves it on some level. Espeshally from Yua. If he hurt anyone with his actions it was mostly Kakashi and Naruto (at least of the people who know him) and he expects anger

Instead he’s greeted with dango and someone willing to let him talk. Someone willing to sit down and listen to him.

Yua doesn’t agree with what Obito did and holds her own judgements inside of her heart, buy she remmembers the little boy who used to always get into arguments with her son. Who screamed about being Hokage one day and becoming the strongest shinobi in Konoha.

I think Yua would want to listen to his story. To hear why he chose the route he did, and just let him talk.

Obito never got a chance to really process everythi ng. He just wallowed in his loss and anger and it fueled him.

I would like a story where Yua sits and lets him aay everything he has kept inside for years, without judgement or interuption.

Obito needs to talk about it but i feel like he won’t talk to Kakashi (he would maybe be afraid of hurting Kakashi further) or someone he doesn’t know at all like Naruto

But yua? The woman who used to always smile and tell her son to be nice to him? Who helped his grandmother with chores once in a while because she knew what a struggle it could be raising a child on her own.

I think he’d be willing to talk a bit more to her

Do you think in Merchant Gai's lifetime, he almost/ was starting to fall for Rin when she was on his boat? Like it started out as wanting to just help her, but blossomed into something more the more he talked to her and the longer they traveled together.

Gai seems the type to fall in love/catch feelings before he starts thinking about sex. So even though Rin was the first to make a move, I feel like he responded so enthusiastically because...well...maybe he was starting to really like her.

honestly I never thought of Gai and Rin falling in love. I always kind of imagined it as a one night stand for a lot of reason's, but a lot of it boils down to 'Rin finds him intriquing and while she understands that a god can have multipule lovers she's not sure the same can be said of a mortal with godly lovers, and Kakashi is head over heels for Gai. she's not stepping into that territory'

Merchant Gai is Rin's real opportunity to get to know the man that her friend has fallen so deeply in love with and she's not going to miss it. she uses the opportunity to meet and speak with him and slowly comes to realize just why Kakashi has fallen for him.

If Kakashi didn't already love him so deeply she could fall for Gai, but she's very much keeping herself back and refusing to open her heart to that option.

Meanwhile Gai is definitly intriqued by this woman who keeps finding her way onto his boat and spending time with him, but he's not really interested romanticlly. He's just sort of enjoying his life and appreciating the company. So when Rin makes an advance he's rather open to it.

I don't think Gai really needs a romantic connection to sleep with someone. Espeshally in a lifetime where he's not supper interested in making any sort of romantic connection with anyone (not even Kakashi). If it were any other lifetime there would be a higher probability of Gai falling for the Goddess of the Oceans, but in this one he's just kinda having fun.

And he gets a great kid out of the deal so he's not complaining at all. Hiroki very much becomes his main focus in life so even though he never had romantic feelings for Rin he does have a connection to her and he appreciates that she gave him one of the greatest gifts he has ever receieved.

To Kakashi? If Yua’s in Konoha it would be kind of hard for such a thing, but I think so ya. Mifune is Yua’s most trusted person.

If there’s anyone she thinks she could entrust her son’s safety and wellbeing to, it’s Mifune

I’m not sure if ‘godfather’ is actually a thing in the shinobi workd, but something along the same lines would fall to Mifune. Espeshally in Samurai Culture it’s not as normal for a child to be left to fend for themselves if their oarents die (they usually have family or friends who will step in) so Yua would choose mifune cuz when she brings the topic up Sakumo has the dumbest look on his face

Yeah, I've never really liked Minato as Hokage... as a leader in general. He's strong, don't get me wrong, and I'm sure he was an amazing husband and would have been a wonderful father if given the chance, but when it comes to important decisions he doesn't really have his priorities completely straight

Namely, putting an 11 y/o in power of two 14 y/o and then leaving them alone in the middle of a war (Kannabi Bridge)

Letting Kakashi go alone to help Rin and not being there to help despite the situation and the fact that one of his students had been made Jinchuuriki against her wishes and the other one wasn't strong enough to fight against probably the strongest people Kiri had to offer since they wanted to get ahold of Rin

Putting a freshly traumatized 14 y/o in ANBU, genuienly thinking that it would help... Literally how. ANBU has the darkest missions available on the market. How the hell could that help

Sealing the fricking Kyuubi in his newborn son thinking that he'll grow up like some sort of hero or some bullsh*t like that, despite having probably witnessed people being assh***s to Kushina for being Jinchuuriki since Kushina herself when she meets Naruto as a chakra impression says that after becoming Jinchuuriki she didn't have a really eash life

I'm honestly baffled how he came to become Hokage

Honestly it was because 1) i doubt they would put Kushina in power since she was the jinchuuriki and 2) the other option was Fugaku and lol, Danzo and Hiruzen weren’t about to do THAT XD

Like, ya Minato is strong and had a flee on sight orders for damn good reason, but when we see him in action as a leader it’s painful.

Kakashi should have have been an 11 yr old jonin regardless of intelligence. He coild have made mission plans and Minato lead them out to prepare him for that position.

Kakashi should not have been put in anbu at such a terrible time. I like Kakashi in anbu because it does fit his skills best and anbu commander Kakashi is a fav, but gdi the timing and reasoning was TERRIBLE.

Minato is a tactical genius apparently but leadership was he is a fail. He does not know how to properly lead and Naruto gets his ‘rush in on my own head first’ personality from BOTH parents. Even when we see Minato with a team (though not sure movies are canon) he’s usually battling alone or with people who are not his team. Shibi and Choza work together in the lost tower movie but seem to have no combi attacks with Minato???? What??

He was chosen for strength and recognized strength first and foremost when he became hokage and not leadership. What we know of Minato does not show leadership capabilities and honestly 11 yr old Kakashi was a better leader (even though he again, should not have been leading. Espeshally when he’s on the mission with rin and is apparently leading an entire platoon of adults???)

aww- yeah i always just loved the idea of students taking care of their teacher's kids XD like how did that happen? did they meet them when they were babies? did they get babysitting missions? I feel like with Team Minato if Naruto grew up with them they would all have a younger sibling/older sibling relationship, and the thought of Gai caring for Choji's health because he knows how important eating is for an Akimichi from Choza 😭😭, also in canon we already have honorary-sarutobi Shikamaru who swore to practically be an honorary bodyguard for Mirai when she was little and still cares for her now, of course i'm still salty we didn't get Team 8 caring for Mirai as well as the rest of Team Asuma T.T

We did see a little team team eight taking care of Mirai a little, though admittedly no where near as much as Shikamaru because of the whole ‘i’ll protect Sensei’s baby no matter what’ thing. Shino is espeshally adorable with her, letting her ride on his shoulders so Akamaru could have a break.

I do wish we could have seen more of the Sensei’s taking care of their Sensei’s kids. As a student of Choza Gai likely had interactions with Inoichi and Shikaku as well so he could have Even been protective of Shikamaru and Ino by proximity

And while I understand why Kakashi didn’t adopt and care for Naruto after Minato’s death (anyone who says he should have/had a responsibility to can legit bite me. He was 14 and traumatized and it was not his job, there were TWO adults asked to take care of Naruto and they are the one’s who failed him) i do wish we could have seen how protective he was of Naruto specificlly because this was his Sensei’s son. The stories he could have told Naruto after he learned the truth were such a missed opportunity
