I don't like any of the maps I've seen for HTTYD so i'm playing a puzzle game w all the locations. This is the 3rd version so far
#httyd#how to train your dragon#httyd map#rtte#race to the edge#mm i already see things i wanna change lmao#the red circle is the are where the Red Death has control#not every dragon in there is under her control but all the dragons of her flock stay there so it's the area where dragon raids happen#i don't believe in the 3rd movie so there's no hidden world but if there WAS i'd put it there hence the ()#also i saw someone saying how funny itd be if hiccup's sarcastic narration of the 1st movie's opening scene was actually the names of place#hence ''freezing to death'' ''hopeless'' and especially ''the meridian of misery''#idk how i feel abt the bewilderbeast under berserker island so instead they're barely located in the red death's territory hence the lack o#raids#and since they're not in war w the dragons n don't get raided they have more people and can actually afford resources and time to things#like fighting other ppl and pillaging like actual vikings#the upper square is the map that berk&berserkers&freezing to death etc use#they're all p concerned w the dragon raids so there's not much energy put to exploring or interacting w Other ppl#n traders rarely go there#they're the weirdos who've settled too close to a dragon nest in the north#n the lower square is the map viggo has and where his Dragon Hunters mainly operate#im thinking of shifting that more to the right to put the rookery where the 'northern markets' currently are#also something that bothers me is that we never rly explore any normal villages#like we've got berk&the berserkers. then we've got uhh 2 dragon-friendly islands the dragon hunters and drago#like who is buying all that dragon product? who are the tribes of the other chieftains in the meeting drago burned down?#where is everyone???

not to be annoying or anything but it's been 9 years since the release of indie game undertale
#It's. One of my special interests#Like I have identifying Mediterranean animals on sight and I have memorizing every line of dialog in undertale#Those are my things. And I did recognize a seagul once by the sound while jetlagged and not paying attention so#Tbh I should probably play the game sometime. But also it'd be very funny to not play it#And then one day just like. Idk. Live stream playing undertale for the first time. But doing it w a blindfold#Check how far my knowledge spans for a person who has never once played the game#Like. I know muffets attacks are a repeating pattern. I know some attacks have audio so I'd use that as a guide#I'd go easy route on toriel and papyrus bc I know you can skip those by being bad at game#And I'm pretty sure I could memorize mad dummy patterns bc I remember there being like. A trick in the code#For if you're bad at the fight#Also you get astro food right before so I'd have good healing#So. Yeah the undyne and asgore and omega flowey fights are really the only things I have to watch out for I think??#Esp since I'm gonna do a bunch of tricks to get out of certain fights#Like. The thing with doing armor switches rapidly on mettaton for fast ratings boosts#Or the lowering of hp on mad dummy after the first hit so the fight can't last beyond a set number of turns if you're shit at it#Tbh yeah undyne is the only one that's actually scary all the way until asgore. That said I also think you can like. Skip that bit entirely#Like by backtracking before new home to get the undyne letter and doing true lab first. I think#Because that's the bit that's the true pacifist thing to do. Which actually true lab also scary#Like ok snowys mom and endogeny are easy but lemon bread and the memory heads are actually hard esp if u cant see#Also reaper bird but only after the everyman gets ate by the whimsun attack flies so I'm not super duper scared#And. I plan on temmie armor after mettaton. And bandage until then for running away from encounters#Just straight up my first time playing the game will be with a blindfold on and livestreamed#(I'd flex especially in that one echo flower room where if you kill toriel flowey taunts you with it)#But until then! okok so if we’re going on like the fact that the Fears are differently “organized” in this new world what if it was based more in the feelings that come with the fears??
as in: fears of the mind (kind of fits w “something wrong” im just workshoppinh tbh), fears of the body (like the second ep), fears of something wrong (something foreign/bad in one’s body, something indescribably off about a situation, maybe even something missing), fear of the unknown (things in the shadows, something that looks empty but actually isnt).
or the feelings that, in context feel bad, but can also be associated with a sort of euphoria. control, hunger, calm (perhaps unnervingly so?), understanding (slash paranoia), being part of something (feeling whole/complete?). the things that you feel when fear is combined with obsession
bc honestly these things are also lines that connected the Big Fourteen. The statement giver in Lost John’s Cave describes her feelings of being in a pitch black cave prior to the experience as true peace. obsession and hunger are pretty much all of them in a way. jane prentiss felt in control and loved by her worms and wasps in a way

The thing is that yes, 13 herself is good, but the show as a whole just wasn't great during her run. Something something there's a baby in this dumpster
yeah like i recognise that most ppl just disliked the show even if they liked her but that's like... almost worse to me? coz i rly love her seasons like i hate the big twist as do most ppl but like it's literally doctor who i'm used to bad decisions. but like the episodes themselves are fine? good even?? i mean there's some i think suck ass like rosa or kerblam but a lot of them are like really good??? and it literally just. makes me really sad that ppl put up with 6 seasons of moffat but literally immediately gave up on 13. like it was actually fucking insane to watch how hyped everyone (EVEN non dw fans) was about her turning into a woman and then the fandom just. disappeared. like idk obviously i cant fault anyone for liking/disliking whatever they want but it makes me so fucking sad.. i like her & her era so much and it seems like 99% of people are only willing to acknowledge it even exists when they wanna make a gender joke abt tennant or when it'd look weird to not include 13 so they include her even tho they know nothing about her or completely misinterpret her as a silly goofy friendly #girlie coz people are chronically incapable of engaging w text if it's a woman

#would u believe me if i told you uve actually seen one? irl? probably not. and lived close to many so i know some of their perks#the urge to tell ghost stories which are real is strong#also the funny thing is. there are many supernatural beings with their own regional mythology across the world and almost all of them are#very very extremely similar to what jinns are like#idk where the whole 'vampires can't eat garlic' trope came from but it had to from somewhere#in older times when vehicles didn't exist and distances b/w towns n villages were still long#and ppl had tot ravle on foot or animals for a long time. or go to markets which were far away. they used to place onion and garlic in thei#meet. so they wouldn't be attacked by jinns and would be drove away by the scent#this is something from my region#i asked my mother abt this once. she said the long travels could get dangerous. especially if one was carrying meet home#and the garlic has strong scent. veiling the scent of meet.#and it didn't have to be jinns or anything. it kept away carnivores and predators too#did you know farmers in India hang garlic garlands on the pillars of their charapai to keep away the snakes?#fae are mischievous and tricksters. guess who else is just as mischievous and trickster. that's right. jinn#most of the yokai?#there are different ones but most of them have traits and abilities that are inherent to jinns#point in case. i believe that many of these supernatural beings considered fanarasy do exist. they just have different names for#different people

one thing I like following abt kamen rider series is the characters employment
#I think it's funny#build starts out with them all being unemployed fugitives until sento becomes the sole money maker with his government job#the episode where he still has to save banjou and misora while working overtime was especially funny to me. poor guy#their employment is a bit more involved in W since Akiko is their boss and being freelance detectives is an active part of the plot#still fun to think about tho#can't wait to watch more series after I finish these two tho#psii.txt

Yeah yeah impossible architecture this, backrooms that, endless hallways and looping corridors, we've all seen it. You know what's really fucked up? What's really terrifying, down to the quick of your soul? A house/building that's almost completely normally but was just atrociously built. All the infrastructure is bad. The planning was bad. An ongoing cascade of bad decisions allowed to reach their dreadful crescendo.
A house with barren walls, no outlets to be seen. Parts cut out of doors and walls because otherwise it would smack into the light fixtures or ventilation ducts. Piping and ducts that cut into each other, somehow. Spaghetti wire that leads to nowhere, abandoned eons past and left to rot and fester. Multiple different crews of people had to actively spend time installing these things. Did they know? Did they care? Could they do anything to stop the tragedy?
And you know, maybe it can take on a supernatural element. Those wires grew and grew like climbing ivy, no goal but to sprawl across the house. A second light switch appears almost completely on top of the previous one, just slightly rotated so you can see the old one underneath. The sharp angles in the ducts get just a little sharper, sharper still until they cut better than your best knives. The appliances sink further and further into the wall with each passing day until the House devours them completely. The pipes are leaking an unidentifiable liquid. Shoddy moulding crackles apart revealing something you'd like to hope isn't raw muscle underneath. Water damage bubbles the ceiling, pops it open like popcorn and millions of tiny eyes stare back. What is it that they're looking for? The termites in the attic are getting louder and louder. The wires creep closer and closer...
#. not where i planned to go with this post#this ended up a bit stream of consciousness#anyway i dont know much abt other trades i only know a bit of electrical#but seeing houses w very obvious code violations (usa) strikes such a distinct dread in me#shittily built places. especially residential buildings. fascinate me more and more as time goes on#its frustrating obviously. there should be much more housing and its the NUMBER ONE THING we should be taking great care to build WELL#but SO many places just want cheap and quick. which leads to so much absurd darkly funny installations#it should not be like this. it should not be so obscenely prevalent! all i can do is laugh to not despair#thats not even touching on bad diy#which i have a bit more sympathy for but only to an extent

gah i need to ramble. i dont know how itd work/how to not make it push things too far/itd be useless anyway since akira knows 0 about fighting/does noooot have the stamina most ppl who end up fighting does<3, but taking the whole "can help oz use magic at night" into a buffer concept.......cuz i dont find a way to use that stuff/the sages book/etc in aus enough T_T something something when akira forms bonds with ppl............. so i was like "ig their evol could be something where i can work around it into that" BUT I DONT WANT THEM TO HAVE ONE........my normal little guy............who somehow can enhance u should the need come......

i adore thinking about the fucked up tpn stuff that was either not considered during the writing process or deliberately left unexplored.
tpn really said 'each house has about 6 shipments and receives about 6 new children to replace them each year. the minimum age a child can be shipped out is 6. tpn begins with conny's shipment in october, after which dominic is the only remaining 6 year-old at the house' without even considering the implications of that. how about 'we know literally nothing about anyone from the age group between anna+nat's and thoma+lanni's groups because theyre all gone by the time the story starts' also literally no one ever brings them up. or my personal favorite of 'isabella painstakingly hand-made little bunny for conny's 6th birthday. conny turned 6 in september, about a month before she was shipped out' like do you think isabella was at least a little pissed about that. i like to think she was
