It was a normal day in the Showgrounds. Well, at least the most normal it can get considering a wacky cartoon man runs around the place with his loud and obnoxious yapping. As much as SMG4 did try to listen to the man’s constant rambles, it gets really hard to focus, especially when someone like him, SMG4, is sleep deprived. 

Today was one of the days he managed to forget to go to SMG3’s cafe to get his usual coffee, the Cyanide Supreme. This also happened to be a day where TSB decided to bother him all hours of the day and night. 

Especially when he’s trying to work on his computer to make memes. 

SMG4 knew fully well that no matter what he’d do, this cartoon man would NOT leave him alone at all costs. As much as he wanted to work… it was a little, maybe just a little tempting to save his progress and let TSB just mess around with him like hair ruffling. Well, that did already happen, whether he liked it or not, with his blue hat sitting aside on the side of SMG4’s desk. 

“Just give me a moment, alright? Then you can bother me all you want. I’m almost done with this,” SMG4 mumbled, hoping that the small plea would get TSB to lay off for long enough for him to finish his work. 

As luck happens to be on SMG4’s side, it was surprising. He didn’t think it’d work, but now he realized he practically had just doomed himself to whatever the cartoony man wanted to do. Sure, he didn’t mind some affection like cuddles, but sometimes it was maybe a bit overload. Who could’ve thought TSB of all people would have so much damn strength sometimes? Okay… Scrap that thought, of course he would. However, he didn’t dwell on that any more.

Admittedly, SMG4 did turn around a few times to see what TSB was doing, but he quickly focused on his work to get it done sooner rather than later. 

Unfortunately for SMG4, as soon as he was done with his work and the computer was booted off, he was almost immediately wrapped up by the lanky arms of the cartoony man and lifted up from his chair. His feet were left dangling above the ground while TSB was practically hugging him tightly while being carried over to his own bed.

“H-Hey now, don’t squeeze me to death!” SMG4 mustered his worries out, even if he knew it wasn’t going to happen either way. 

“You’ll be fine!~” TSB cheerfully replied in a sing-song voice, a wide grin on his face. Something about the way his response to him, or just his overall upbeat expression, made him want to melt into the hug and sleep right then and there. 

Despite that, the cartoony man flopped down on the bed with the blue clad meme guardian in his arms. SMG4 didn’t fully expect it, causing him to get a little dizzy for a moment, but got readjusted, quickly snuggling in close. To be fair, he is pretty exhausted. Hell, SMG4 didn’t even know what time it was! 

None of that mattered right here and now though to them both. They both are cuddled up, with wide, joyous smiles on their faces. 

To the two of them, this might just be the comfiest they have felt in the world right in that very moment. Or maybe just one of the times they’ve felt like that.

Besides that, they were cuddled up to one another, arms wrapped around the other and with the covers half-assed covering them… well, more like their legs. Neither of them had their hats on and TSB’s shades were with their hats. SMG4 settled comfortably against TSB’s chest while the cartoon man nuzzled his head into the top of SMG4’s head. 

For the both of them, they fell asleep fairly quickly, comfortable in each other’s arms.

i was watching lego batman movie while doing that drawing... i was the anonymous ask about the fic teehee!!! i wanted to write tsmg4 for a while 😭 i wanted to write a little bit of fluff !!!

also funnily enough, this was the yaoi i was writing in vc last night at like 12-3 am 😭 i didnt want to spoil it and keep it a surprise!!

Ship Meme time! Ryo/Akira :D :D :D

Ahhh the perfect ship to discuss after LaCroix/Nines!

Makes sense and compels me extremely! Why their relationship is quite a huge part of Devilman's plot, like how it went wouldn't have happened if not for Ryo falling in love with Akira! (honestly the end of humanity would've come sooner, so Ryo/Satan falling in love with Akira likely delayed the apocalypse by a while! XD)

Unlike LaCroix and Nines, (Talking about the manga version of them here.) Akira and Ryo were friends before everything went wrong and trusted each other so deeply, even to the point of being willing to go down to hell to together. They understand each other like no other, and would do anything for each other and that's what damns and saves them(in Violence Jack and Devilman Lady tho XD)

Akira willingly went through the Sabbath and became Devilman for Ryo (as well to save humanity but as we see later in the story humanity to Akira really includes the people he personally knows and loves) and Ryo/Satan has Amon merge with Akira to save him from the human apocalypse since Akira was the only human he could ever love. They both make the same mistakes in some ways, when Ryo/Satan fell in love with Akira he couldn't look outside of his hatred of humanity to consider that maybe if Akira was lovable to him then maybe not all of humanity is so bad. When Akira lost Miki and her family to the mob he couldn't look outside his hatred to see that maybe there were other humans that were like Miki who needed to be saved.

I honestly think Ryo fell in love with Akira because Akira was not only a kindred spirit but also showed him that he could live in peace, even if Satan didn't realise it at the time and that's why he is regretful at what he had done to Akira by merging with Amon. In a way he had started the progress that will make Akira mirror him in so many ways.

Despite their differences they understand each other even if they don't want to admit it and in a way they enable each other cause of it. Akira in my mind did come to hate humanity once he saw the evils they committed towards the devilmen and their own fellow humans in order to save themselves and that's why he was considering Ryo/Satan's offer to join him, because a part of him did a agree with Ryo on some level, but hated to ever admit it especially after Miki died. Like even tho Ryo was messy as fuck in trying to give his offer for Akira to join his side, the fact he thought it would work says a lot to me about how much he knew how Akira actually felt about humanity.

And despite all of the anger and hatred Akira had felt for Ryo towards the end of the manga in the sequels he still strives to either save Ryo(Violence Jack) or understand him, because he still loves him.(Devilman Lady manga)

And Ryo/Satan wants to understand/love humanity better through Akira's POV either by loving Miki like Akira had(Violence Jack) or taking on his role as Jun(Devilman Lady manga)

And imo in both Violence Jack and Devilman Lady they both save each other even if the journey is really rough and messy! XD

like I've said before their love damns and saves them in so many ways, they make each other both better and worse and the world(s) is never the same cause of it. Through love or hate they are drawn together and have a hard time being apart.

The fandom plays around this ship a lot and the best ways I've seen it be done is when its both a character and a relationship study where they understand how they can go towards war or peace together...

So yeah after all that waxing poetically again, they are very much OTP but I really like to ship them as a OT3 with Miki cause honestly I feel she is what is able to keep them together or break them apart...

So yeah, thank you so much for the ask on Ryokira, they always give me a lot to think about and I'll always have feels about them 😭😭😭

aemond expecting reader, the victim of the situation to spare alys' feelings because her conscience cannot stand being reminded of the fact that she took part in ruining a family???? i know infatuation and love can blind your senses but damn, that is just EVIL. what's next, him agreeing to alys not wanting to be around daella because she would rather prefer to live with him in a bubble of ignorance where the circumstances of them getting together were normal? (though i guess that would work in reader's favor and there's probably no way alys would ever broach the subject with aemond knowing how much it would hurt him). now im even more pissed for reader's sake, she should do a lot more, FUCK being civil 😭 do you maybe have more thoughts on reader's magazine cover shoot of her in the ruined wedding dress? i desperately need her to have at least one instance where in the moment she doesn't think about consequences, one that cannot be explained by it just being a part of her work or anything else but being unmistakably petty (with her maybe looking back at it years later like 'yeah probably shouldn't have done but deep down im glad i did'), i would even be satisfied with a realistic occuring dream of hers or aemond's where she takes her revenge LOL

I like think reader knows how the play the game. She was the lamb to be slaughtered first, now it’s alys turn (rightfully or wrongly). Much her civility, is yeah thats just her personality and how her parents raised her to be. But she also knows when to strike, especially now that the public is actually on her side for the first time since she’s been in Aemond’s orbit.

So let’s say the band does a rolling stone cover/interview. Maybe the journalist is a reader stan LMAO and they comes in swinging. Asks Aemond and alys about the timeline of their relationship and how it seems… suspicious *insert Dwayne the rock Johnson eyebrow raise meme* Alys and Aemond try their best to answer politely (Aemond goes on about how reader is such a great mother… true but a deflection). but yeah it’s not looking good for them 😭. It’s only compounded by the other members making slightly antagonistic comments. Helaena says something about sometimes being in a band, in a family, means dealing with decisions and people you don’t like 👀

Anyway of course this blows up bc they’re a big band and people love drama. Now reader is trying to keep her head down, get her bag. She’s on a shoot for a magazine, maybe a cool one like interview. And a creative director comes up to her and asks if she’d be interested in doing a spread. She declines at first bc she knows they will ask about Aemond and alys. It takes some convincing from tyland and some of her other girlfriends to do it.

The whole shoot is basically about rebirth.. a metamorphosis if you will. And the cover? Her in wedding dress covered in blood. Symbolizing of her essentially killing her old self but also idk if y’all knew this but blood on a wedding dress is considered a bad omen. Basically means regret in the end. The whole spread is about her finding independence away from the group. There’s no explicit “yeah he cheated”. But from the answers she gives, it’s clear something isn’t clean in the buttermilk. The implication is enough plus she gets seen as the victim. Win win. In the end, it’s iconic and she looks great. A lot people applaud her for not completely dragging alys and Aemond when she could. Surprisingly, Aemond has few qualms about the cover but partly bc he knows reader couldve gotten very nasty and hasn’t.

now... look. i'm not gonna meme this and slap a #daddyissues on the guy, but let's unpack his strong preference for female companions (and that wasn't an intentional doctor who joke, @authorleaandres has to stop enabling the crossovers)

maria: self explanatory, but basically the blueprint!

rouge: the person closest to him, whom he trusts the most (debatable but i believe it to be true and y'all know i'm the only correct sonic opinion ever)

amy: the person who literally made him remember his purpose, which enabled him to sacrifice himself for the earth. also, when she hugged him by mistake in SA2 he didn't react negatively, despite showing a distaste for physical contact in canon (especially unannounced or nonconsentually!)

let's compare this to:

sonic: his literal rival. say what you want about sonadow and i'm not denying their mutual unspoken respect and bond, but their arrogance clashes for a reason: they're meant to not get along!

knuckles: they're literally so fuckin tense and bitter with each other, it's amusing but unsurprising given their respective isolations, arrogance, and tendency to rival others and question everyone's actions with distaste

silver: kicKS HIM IN THE FUCKING HEAD! yeah he's somewhat impressed with the guy and mentors him, but onwards they seldom get along unless it's for the greater good (silver doesn't trust him).

okay, these are the biggest ones but i'll do some other brief ones:

infinite: generated his villain arc and kicked him in the head too

vector: mehhh... walks away from him and only half helps him (plus it's up to you!) in his game. if you count sonic x he's kind of a dick to vector too lmao

eggman: respects him more than most of the cast, but also fucks his shit up a lot

black doom: ... skip so i dont make the lamest joke

gerald: ... skip again for the same reasons

mephiles: arguably shadow's best foe because their relationship fucking rules i love it UGH someone remind me to make a post on them

okay okay you get the point, shadow and guys don't seem to work out off the bat... but it feels like i'm skipping some important male characters, right? AM I...? NO.

omega: his other best friend alongside rouge who he cares for so damn much i don't even need to elaborate. aha, omega is a ROBOT.

metal sonic: he has such a sad yet beautiful sense of compassion for the lil fella; him and omega recover his body in heroes, shadow is always looking out for him, and also THE ENTIRETY OF RIVALS 2 OH MY GOD. oh yeah, metal sonic is also a robot!

charmy bee: now it might seem weird to bring him up because shadow doesn't have to be nice to him (just like with vector) but unlike the chill croc, charmy IDOLIZES shadow and is generally considered the most annoying character besides like, omochao. (sorry charmy you irritating thing, i love you but i get why others don't!). just like with amy, shadow could very explicitly tell charmy to fuck off, but he doesn't. why? HE IS A CHILD. the fact he lets charmy stick around and has been present enough in the kid's life to be a role model... i need to draw them 🥺

tails: even though they've worked against each other, shadow seems to admire tails' intelligence and innovation, and has worked with him on occasion. besides boom and x where he beats the shit out of tails, shadow does like the guy. why? he is ALSO A CHILD! however he is a wee bit older which is why shadow sometimes wants to kick him around a bit :") (side note: these are the only two *main canons that give tails a confirmed love interest: cosmo and zooey. old enough to date? old enough to get kicked by shadow!)

notice a trend? yeah. by just taking a handful of characters (arguably the ones closest to shadow in game lore) it's clear that shadow is drawn to the female cast and generally more comfortable with them. robots can be gendered i GUESS, but they're literally non binary y'all idk what to tell you 😭 also children don't count. unless you're holding hands which means you'll catch those hands!

i'm not saying shadow hates men or anything (i mean it would be funny though for the memes) but it's clear that he has issues with authority... male authority. male... fathers who have manipulated and weaponized him... and his only positive formative experience pre big T trauma was a girl... maria... y'all see it right? i dont have to spell it out or make a joke 😎

if you're wondering why i left espio out specifically because they get along really well off the bat, it's because clearly they have mutual unspoken crushes bc they're fruity. i'm literally not biased lmao WHAT no i'm not debunking sonadow and infinadow and whatever other ships y'all have because i'm getting shadpio brainrot... lol no thats not me!

speaking of Hawkmoth, imagine how scary it must be to be a Parisian. He said he'd watch every single thing they did, hunt them in their dreams and wreak non-stop havoc. And yet, they still rallied for ladybug. I got so emotional at that.

Lila just looks so unimpressive standing right next to Felix. she couldn't achieve in 4 seasons what he did in less than 5 episodes.

Someone get Nathalie away from the drama, this woman needs to rest up

I'm glad ladybug admitted she mistreated chat basically all season. She was able to recognize her mistake. maybe the writing has hope just yet.

holy cow batman, I heard ALL the fanfic writers cry out in pain when she flashed back to chat blanc when chat noir said he couldn't get akumatized

In conclusion, I was floored by this finale. It took twists and turns I didn't expect out of Miraculous and it was such an emotional ride, especially for long time viewers who've grown with ladybug and want to see her succeed. It hurt me on a personal level to see Ladybug kicked down to the ground, feeling like she lost everything. Then Chat telling her they'd rebuild, taking back each miraculous one by one. What a finale. The best one yet. I can't wait for the movie and I can't wait for season five.
