Anyways it’s never felt like it’s had canonical backing to me before but now I can bring up my Idia/OG!Ortho/Humanoid!Ortho Hades/Thanatos/Hypnos parallels for real now
#Idia is obvious and canonical#but OG! Ortho (whom I call Agetes btw) being Thanatos is really just cause I read a fic where the twst cast were reincarnations of their -#- Disney counterparts and Agetes was Thanatos which of course to me meant that Adesius (R! Ortho) is Thanatos’ twin Hypnos#but again canon never backed that before but now with this new#twst book 7#update (specifically to EN) I now have actual evidence for my claims#for example Agetes calls himself The King Of The Underworld but Idia just calls him the understudy as Idia’s the king#real God of Death vs God of the Dead vibes to me#and then there’s Adesius who can basically FaceTime people in dreams (for lack of a better word on my part lol) and even enter them#gives me God of Sleep vibes enough to support my claims#esp with the twin thing#so yeah#anyway Shroud sibs I love you and Greek mythology#twisted wonderland#twst#twst book 7 spoilers#twst idia#twst ortho#idia shroud#ortho shroud

finished veilguard. i enjoyed it but it was also real bad. the highs were really high the lows extremely low. the only people they really made this game for was solavellans and it should've stayed as an ao3 fic

There has got to be an analysis waiting for that moment starting at 2:05 in the Mr.AFFECTiON MV but I don't currently have the words to do it. Just....something about Nagi rushing happily towards the light, Mitsuki breaking out of his chains, Tamaki fighting his way to/against it, Sogo breaking his fragile glass image/reflection that trapped him inside, Yamato having to go through the fire, Iori walking through a cold and icy path, and Riku staring at his own reflection....does that resonate with anyone?

At this point, nothing will get me to click out of a fic faster than bad characterization of Han Solo. You made him a deadbeat burnout alcoholic asshole? Groundbreaking. Congrats, you fell victim to his cool guy act and then made him worse!
And it's always made 10 times worse by the fact that in these fics, he's almost always still married to Leia? You think Leia Organa is marrying that guy??? You're gonna keep her married to that guy??? Be for real.
#i will never stop being baffled by how this fandom developed infinite sympathy for mini boss boba fett and 0 for actual hero han solo#and i like boba im not opposed to the boba sympathy just bffr#this happens so often in dinluke fics esp#where luke will have had a crush on han but now han has to look like the obviously bad choice to make din the better partner#but in those fics han is still literally married to luke's sister!!#like we don't need to make him the asshole here the marriage to his twin does enough to establish why they aren't together#read this one dinluke fic recently where han was luke's ex#and han was actually super self sacrificing and kind and din was kind of jealous and possessive#and in one authors note the author was like 'can you tell i hate han?'#girl ... not at ALL??? he seems like thew winning choice here idk#still read the whole thing (at least what exists so far) so I could project a skymandolo ending onto it#but thats my prerogative

i always say that there kinda Is a sliding scale with types of autism (observationally), and the best way i’ve been able to describe it is “hypo” (lack of temp/pain sensitivity, nonverbal/less verbal, hypoemotional) and “hyper” (more texture etc sensitivities, more verbal, more overt stims, more emotional)
anyways just came to the epiphany that sliding scale of Autism Characters Of All Time can actually kinda be represented between spock and dale cooper

crazy realization that despite technically having been alive 2x as long as elladan + elrohir, morinel is mentally closer to their age than elronds???? elrond... who she grew up with??????????

WHICH IS INSANE. like if i was my age. then woke up at twice that.#to have been ASLEEP/KNOCKED OUT for HALF OF MY ENTIRE LIFE as my friends are going thru major milestones (like having KIDS)#i would lose my mind. especially if when i woke up. those kids were the same age as i was when i was knocked out!!!

I love taking little vacations in fandoms. like it’s not a fandom you have the intent of really dedicating yourself to, but you take a few days and really tour what they’ve got going on. read some fics and webcomics and au tags, etc. get a ‘best of’ glance and the pure Enthusiasm they’ve got going on w like a. ‘this isn’t for me I think, but i like watching you have a good time w it’ mindset. 10/10 highly recommend, great enrichment
#it works best imo w fandoms you’re somewhat familiar with and/or more simple fandoms#esp if you focus on like. micro fandoms? little subjects focusing on a few Little Parts of canon#like those pokemon train twins!!#you don’t need to know a Lot to GET IT but now you can explore the wild things they’ve done to their cervixes#tbh if you can find like. 2-3 Unhinged ppl making full webcomics and/or ask blogs for their au then you’ve Hit The Ticket#other example would be ace attorney for me (bc there’s more a fandom focus on characters than the direct gameplay/cases)#(and Enough og the main cast is already Understood thru tumblr cultural osmosis it makes learning the rest less of a Task)#anyway!!!!! gettin real into mario and luigi at the moment
