how did Fumiko and Gyutaro shack up in the modern era? Did they marry or were just together?

In a modern setting, Gyutaro and Fumiko are closer in age and would have attended the same highschool. They had some common friends, but didn't really become close until later.

Post-graduation, Gyutaro worked multiple jobs to support himself and his sister: a cashier at a konbini beneath the run-down apartment they lived in, doing deliveries on his motorbike, and occassionally picking up security gigs for bars and nightclubs. This is where he and Fumiko really got to know one another as she would frequent these establishments on the weekends on the lookout for any substance she could get her hands on to quiet her dark thoughts. Gyutaro, having a sharp eye, would have caught her and tried to stop her from going on a bender which would have lead to the two getting to know one another more. After a few of these instances (orchestrated by Fumiko who tried to play the role of the helpless damsel to get him to pay attention to her), they would have started dating.

The Shabanas would have ended up moving in with the Muto family after the konbini Gyutaro worked at, along with their apartment above, were condemned. This was a rough transition for Gyutaro as he hates feeling indebted to anyone. It was also awkward for him as Fumiko's father would have also been there, and growing up without a father figure (or want of one), he didn't know how to act. Especially because the man was so kind and generous to him. But learning to let go of a bit of control and accepting help from others is something that Gyutaro desperately needs. The move was also good for Ume as this gave her a happy and stable homelife. And at the end of the day, Gyutaro will prioritize Ume's happiness and safety above all else.

Gyutaro and Fumiko's relationship, regardless of timeline, will always be strained due to their own issues. At their core, they're both deeply insecure individuals with low self-esteem. Gyutaro is the kind of person who doesn't open up to others and will actively try to push them away. Intimacy, both emotional and physical, is difficult for him.

The two do eventually get married, but Gyutaro proposed more out of wanting the security of a home and family for Ume to ensure she'll be taken care of. Fumiko is aware that the relationship is mostly one-sided, but she's happy to play along with the delusion and put on a mask regardless of the timeline she's in. If she can make the siblings happy, that's all she can ask for.

I'm gonna say this very gently because I'm sure you mean well, but saying things like "they shouldn't be in a relationship because Mel is autistic" is actually pretty shitty and gross. You don't have to ship anything, but that is a horrid thing to say. Autistic ppl marry and fuck all the time.

Any tips for gaining weight?

Of course! I've posted about this before, here are my recommendations:

Don't Force Food Down. Don't start by trying to stuff yourself, especially when you're not used to eating much. You probably want to make a big difference right away, so you try to eat whatever food is most fattening, and eat as much possible. But that often makes you feel nauseous and uncomfortable, or even sick to your stomach. On top of that, you're not even enjoying the food. It's not a fun experience, and if it's not fun, you won't want to do it again.

Instead, Make Eating a Hobby and Habit. Find foods you enjoy. Find foods that make you excited to eat. And simply enjoy them. Keep tasty foods around you, allow yourself to indulge in them whenever you like. You don't have to stuff yourself with them. Eat your fill, and then come back later for more. Let eating become a pleasure that you can fill your day with. I promise that snacking and grazing on foods you actually want to eat will help you gain. And you'll love doing it so much more.

The First Hurdle is the Toughest. It always takes time to see results, especially when you're first starting. It really sucks when you've been eating for days or weeks and you don't notice any difference. That's why enjoying the process is so important. If eating becomes a pleasure rather than a chore, then suddenly the results won't matter so much. But results will come. And once you notice those first changes, it gets exponentially better from there. You'll feel the difference. You'll notice your new softness. You'll measure the changes. And suddenly the hurdle will be gone. You'll notice how you've grown even as you help yourself grow more. And all it takes is reaching that first, blissful moment.

And finally, here are some small tips to get you there:

Just a Bit Extra. You don't need to eat a days worth of food at once. Aim for 300-500 calories extra a day on top of what you normally eat. Those calories are easy when you spread them out. And believe me, they will add up.

Drink your calories. Replace water with tasty drinks! Sodas, juices, coffees, and energy drinks are all great ways to gain without needing to eat more.

Find High Calorie Snacks. You don't need to eat much. Things like nuts, peanut butter, pastries and avocados have a lot of calories. Just a little per day will go a long way.

A Little Cream. Of course, every gainer's favorite. Keep some heavy cream on hand and sip it when you're in the mood. You don't need to chug the whole thing. A little goes a long, long way. Have a few sips throughout the day, or mix it into drinks like coffee or chocolate milk. And extra bonus points for this one, because it feels fattening.

The reason Ren acts surprised is partly to imply that Angel never really showed much interest in the alternative style before (as opposed to the light academia/"Haruko" style), but it's also to give the player an explicit indication that there might be more to Ren than meets the eye. I don't want to hand-hold the player's experience and make things too obvious for them, but I also don't want to make Ren's "true intentions" a sudden surprise, either.

Maybe I missed the post but can we know more about Gyutaro's kiddos in the future with Fumiko? Was he excited to be a dad?

Although Gyutaro doesn’t strike me as someone who would actively seek out starting a family due to his traumatic upbringing, he does seem like the kind of person who would be excited to become a parent. He’s 13 years older than his sister and was parentified so he would have a lot of experience when it comes to raising kids. I imagine he had to take care of Ume from infancy seeing how neglectful and abusive their mother was. That’s not to say he wouldn’t have doubts about his ability to be a good parent; Gyutaro has low self-esteem and would probably worry that he would fail his children just like his mother failed him. He would be apprehensive about the situation, but having a family would give him the feeling of security and stability that he wants deep down. It also means having to learn to open himself up to loving someone as much as he loves his baby sister.

I think Gyutaro would be an excellent father with his only fault being that he’s too indulgent. Any children he had would be spoiled, and there is nothing he would not to to make sure that they were safe and provided for. He would be the type of parent who is close to his children and would spend a lot of time with with them. Basically, he would raise his kids the same way he raised his sister.

Satoru is the eldest and is soft-spoken, gentle, and bookish like his mother. He has cerebral palsy and uses a walking cane due to his hip diplegia. Gyutaro is very protective of his son, often carrying him on his back so he doesn't have to walk. Heaven help any of the neighbourhood kids that might bully Satoru or steal his cane, because Dad will make them pay for it dearly.

Toshiko takes after her father, right down to the crooked teeth and hot-headed temperament. She's usually getting herself into trouble and Tengen is her favourite person to bother. Fumiko suffered from placenta previa with her and was bed-bound for a while after the birth, so Gyutaro had to provide a lot of the care for Toshiko early on. Toshiko also had colic, and Gyutaro was the only one that could soothe her much of the time. Toshiko is a complete Daddy's Girl and spends a lot of time with her father. Gyutaro often encourages the girl's more mischievous behaviours, especially when she's bothering the Uzui's. When the two get up to some antics that they know Fumiko wouldn't approve of, they just agree that it's a "don't tell Mom" situation. Gyutaro would have taught Toshiko how to fight so that she can defend both herself and her brother.

Eggs: Love 'em. Breakfast food is my favourite. I'll do a scramble if I'm making them myself but usually order over-easy if I'm eating out.

Steak: Hell yeah allergy buddies 🙏

Milk: Also intolerant, two for two. 🙏 I get almond milk as an alternative, but I'm not picky and will accept oat or rice as well.

Alcohol: I'm currently nursing a Corona. I have yet to meet a type of alcohol I didn't like. I live in an area renowned for it's wineries and I buy my favorite by the gross. We also have a lot of local breweries that specialize in craft beer that I quite enjoy. Despite this, I'm not a heavy drinker - I like to keep it to 1-2 drinks a day primarily to help with my muscle tension.

Warm drinks: It's rare to not see me with a cup of tea in hand. I have all sorts of fancy equipment for tea making and even like to harvest plants to make my own. I'm also a fan of coffee - I prefer a medium roast with just a bit of creamer and no sugar.

hmm… depends on the adaption but i think in general he loves humans. platonic, romantically, sexually. i don’t know if that’s an actual kink but… humans (or organics) would probably be considered a kink in cybertronian society

something i’m sure of is that he has a size difference kink. you have to if you’re a transformer dating a human; they’re very small to transformers. and while earthspark bots are honestly much smaller than other iterations they’re still generally bigger. the ones born in cybertron at least.

for bumblebee, he’s typically always been a smaller bot, i know he gets a power trip seeing your tiny body shivering as he puts his spike in you. it makes him feel things he shouldn’t feel, as the autobots scout. but he doesn’t stop the feeling nonetheless. it’s too good.

he’d also rather die than admit it but lingerie makes him feel… something. he’s always been fascinated with human culture, and the sexual outfits for humans… makes him horny too. what’s better than you wearing it is him wearing it and you removing it off… you see his prefluids leaking out onto the lingerie from excitement…

i got this idea from another user but. it’s canon that bumblebee merch is a thing. so it wouldn’t be impossible for transformer inspired dildos to be a thing. seeing you use a bumblebee inspired dildo (the stinger) would make him feel a certain type of way and lose his shit

i imagine that while wartime didn’t allow for anything as serious as conjunx enduras (basically cybertronian’s concept of marriage) bumblebee still messed around with other bots. he was especially eager to please others then. he remembers those times with embarrassment and cringes.

with humans… he’s never done it. sure, he’s imagined, but never actually do the deed. when you guys do have sex, it’s slow and careful. he’s ridiculously gentle because he’s that scared of hurting you. he gets more confident as you two frag more but… it takes time to get there.
