I like to think that Gyutaro likes to whittle wood as a hobby. It's something he started doing back when he was a human to pass the time and make some trinkets for Ume from branches he would find.

Maybe a bit ooc, but Fumiko deserves a bit of kindness for all I like to put her through.

I love the red string of fate, especially when it's a bit twisted.

They love each other in their own way. They're just messy about it which leads to a lot of hurt feelings and unhealthy attachment issues.

Life is hard when you're surrounded by hotties who all want you and your weird, off-putting cryptid rizz. I am a multishipper on this blog, I hope Gyutaro gets all the babes. Featuring a smol Hinata who belongs to @artsycervidae, Tengen, and my oc, Fumiko.

So maybe a double up question. I like how Fumiko has a squishy figure. Does she gave body image issues? I imagine for the time in Japan they valued the thin lithe figure in a woman.

And does she get validation from Gyutaro for it considering it was mentioned their relationship is very physical....

Fumiko and Gyutaro are both deeply insecure people, which only heightens the level of codependency they have.

Fumiko does struggle with issues surrounding her body image. She’s larger than the average woman, both in terms of her overall figure and her height. She stands in ways to make herself appear more diminutive and often has her arms crossed in front of her body. She dresses modestly and tries to distract from her figure by concentrating on makeup and accessories.

Fumiko compares herself against others often, which leads to an insecurity feedback loop.  Although she never veers into feelings of jealousy (her self-worth is too low to allow her to feel that particular emotion), she can’t help but wish she looked different. She would notice Gyutaro’s attraction to the Uzui’s and wish that she was more like them.

Gyutaro doesn’t strike me as someone who would care about his partner’s physical appearance. He’s certainly not immune to appreciating someone’s physical beauty, given his obvious crush on Tengen, but the way someone looks isn’t a priority for him. He wouldn’t understand why Fumiko is insecure about her appearance. She’s blessed to be healthy and he doesn’t care about her having a few fat rolls. Gyutaro isn't overly affectionate or liberal with compliments, but if he notices Fumiko seems down on herself he'd try his best to cheer her up by reiterating that he doesn't care what she looks like. He'll also playfully grab at her and let her know that he likes how soft she feels.

I had hoped to have these posted in time for Valentine's Day, but life got in the way. But I guess I can still make it in time for White Day. I still love the Valentine's Day artwork they did last year with the girls' cafe outfits.

I'm a huge Douma and Shinobu shipper, so it's kind of surprising this is the first time I've drawn them.
