Every time the script I voted for wins a round for the BOTC World Cup I'm like "getting a good grade in script choosing is normal to want and possible to achieve"

Also very funny timing for yesterday's NRB patreon episode to air because halfway through it, TPI started streaming a World Cup match so I had to choose between Clocktower and Clocktower. Fortunately I was more interested in the second World Cup match (the double demons one) so I could finish the the NRB one then jump in the TPI stream to witness the funniest Summoner-2 Demons-2 ST final day chat in a Magician game. I also got a bad headache that night and I sure wonder why (probably the five hours of Clocktower watching)

I've seen people being like "wow undead unluck really gives up on the sexual harrassment jokes and locks in early that's nice" but I think that the reason why they work is because the reason why they're there in the first place serves the girl's character more than it serves a reason for her to get sexualized

So why is Fuuko getting her titty grabbed in the first place? It's her negator hability, called unluck, which negates a person's luck completely when they make skin contact with her, the more intimate the touch is and the more she cares for that person, the worst the burst of unluck is going to be. So that seems like prime fanservice territory, right? Prime "ermmm the reason why he's making her bobbies jiggle 24/7 is because that's the most intimate touch possible" territory right? WRONG!! Tozuka stablishes early that the most intimate touch they could do at the moment was a kiss!! And everytime Andy and Fuuko DO kiss it's extremely focused on and not brushed off as just a sexy scene (even though it's always sexy, love those two disgusting idiots)

And in the end, while unluck may be used as an excuse for her to get grabbed, that reasoning never outshines how unluck adds to Fuuko's character. Why is fuuko so touch starved? She's been avoiding skin contact for years! Why does fuuko dress so conservatively? To avoid accidental touches! Why does fuuko warm up to andy so fast? He's the first person that could be near her that she didn't need to be scared of accidentaly killing AND wasn't scared of her! Why does fuuko care and feel for everyone around her so much? Because a very core memory for her is how negator habilities can ruin the lives of everyone you love! Unluck, in the end, is about HER and HER alone, not just an excuse for her to get sexualized, and that's the reason why I think that excuse works

(Also her love interest being the only one getting chummy and nobody else is also a good sign, if her character didn't matter I bet that zombie scene from the spoil arc would be a LOT different)

I’m looking into a better chair but I’m sort of overwhelmed and lost and in pain when I work too long, and I haven’t worked in months because i can’t find a good setup. product recs here also work great but I’m really just looking to ask what’s made ur life a little easier :,)

it really differs from person to person what items will help, and also depends on where your pain is, so all i can do is share what's helped me personally, and hope that perhaps some of it could apply to you

wrist braces

for wrist pain - i go through periods where i wear them and periods where i don't, they can be helpful for stability during times of activity, some people wear them when they sleep bc many (myself included) often accidentally hyperextend our joints during sleep -_- but do be careful not to wear them all the time bc it can sometimes cause more pain or result in weakness

compression gloves

for hand pain/finger joint pain - i don't use these much lately but i used to use them almost every day in combo with wrist braces to try to calm down finger + wrist pain by providing tightness and support, honestly they just feel really nice and comforting in general for me personally but theyre not for everyone.

plastic finger splints

these changed my life when i was having severe finger joint hyperextension and pain..... wearing them restricts the finger joints from hyperextending/bending too far which is helpful in preventing pain and keeping your joints in a more normal range... these helped me a lot for finger pain so i highly recommend them if you have finger pain!!

KT TAPE

i don't use it much anymore because it's kind of annoying to apply and remove, but it helped me a lot with keeping my knees, elbows, and wrists within better ranges of movement, and it felt really comfortable and tight in a secure and safe way if that makes any sense..!? warning is that it can be painful to remove if you have sensitive skin or body hair, but i take it off in the shower which helps a bit. its economically more worth it to buy a roll and cut it yourself rather than buying pre cut pieces, but if you dont have the patience or spoons for cutting it each time then they do make pre cut pieces!

other than that i have used a cane, elbow crutch, and now a hybrid manual/electric wheelchair, with the wheelchair ABSOLUTELY CHANGING MY LIFE ive had the least amount of pain and highest about of mobility (in terms of spending 5+ hours outside!! wow!!) that ive had in a long time, and if your condition gets to the point where going places is difficult/painful/anxiety inducing to you because of how much pain you'll be in during or afterwards, please don't feel ashamed to look into using a mobility aid!

as for the second question, honestly i still struggle with that myself, i can't keep up as well as i'd like to on my homework and commission work, but what does help is trying to maintain good posture while on the computer (sitting in a chair without slouching too much, keeping my neck from bending weird and trying not to hyperextend wrists or fingers while typing, which ermmm i still fail at a lot)

also trying to switch position and task every 2 or so hours is what's necessary for me, unfortunately i suck at doing this and get hyperfocused on drawing for 3+ hours sometimes, which ends up in a lot of pain and soreness afterwards -_- so i do recommend trying to give yourself breaks/switching position and task every so often if it is possible for you to do so...

The illness hit my brain again and I will ramble about why I like the Ota tribe. Again. Yes. Again.

Soooooooo badass, right?!

The 5 characters in the photo come from Ota City, where polluted by industry, and has become a slum filled with crime. That's why they are Ota Tribe.

When they first appeared in the anime, I didn't even see the art above, what I saw was a group of people wrapped in robes and looking like beggars asking for money. When Haru (one of the main characters) gave them a piece of candy, it was enough to make them happy and I was like "Aww they do look a bit weird but it's cute somehow"

no shit. they fucking blew up the mansion after taking the gold with them. But still...cute? (sorry the mansion owner, you have too many girls with you, I'm jealous). In short, that's enough for me to have a basic opinion about these characters.

They steal, but they are also not picky with what they get. They are chaotic, but they have their own rule.

I look at the cast of characters in the anime and it's funny, not counting the NPCs that look like they're copied and pasted, the main cast is like this

I swear the air and water in Ota are polluted from the dye factory or something that's giving them that edgy emo make-up aesthetic look (Oh don't worry Saigo you look great, and Yukigaya you look adorable)

I looked at this team and the only thing that popped into my head was that they were all picked up from the trash can and taken to a garbage dump (effortlessly) by Sonoda.

Sonoda is the ermmm pretty boy with the mask in the center. Yeah I know he looks normal and you can find a bunch of white-haired anime guys like him or whatever. That's right, why are you wearing a shirt, tie and bow-tie shoes in this city? Are you a lost high school student or are you trying to look more mature with that style? (It's suit you <3) and I still love this photo of you.

Even though he's an asshole, I have to admit that his looks are so deceiving. His eyes are very sad, he drags out the last syllable, he apologizes when people tell him he's not allowed to do that (still does), and he likes to bring food home to share with everyone ( even though it contains explosives). He beats and kills people because he likes it, oh what an atrocity. Best boy ever. We should throw him down the drain.

anw I was a bit surprised because I thought they had dumb luck when it came to making this and that machine but honestly, they're pretty good, aren't they? Especially Haneda's birthday fact, he used paper to write down and analyze Sonoda's behavior. I thought that the Ota tribe was completely illiterate, they couldn't read and never had a book or something ToT (It's all because the battle with Minato was so impressive)
