Okay, I’m at my limit when the Erin Clover drama. At this point, I’m just wondering where people are going to draw the line. One of the biggest drawn OC x Bakugo artists literally just turned 18 and has been making ‘sexy’ content themed around a budding relationship with Bakugo and her ADMITTED self insert. She isn’t the first, either. I can think of at least 5 creators who are minors, doing the EXACT SAME THING. People will complain about her, but say NOTHING on ‘sexy’ shirtless drawn pics of characters by themselves or legit Y/N x character porn and suggestive content. There is a VAST amount of BNHA porn, that doesn’t even include OC’s, that is not even brought up in these discussions. If people were really upset by it, they’d be going after fanfiction writers, other artists, dojinshi artists etc, but they aren’t 🥴. I don’t think y’all want the problem solved for real. You just enjoy stirring the pot and contributing false info by spreading lies.

It really just looks like a lot of people are going after Erin because she has a big following. That’s it. There are SO many account on Twitter posting so much worse, and they are not receiving nearly the same amount of backlash she is. At the end of the day, I personally don’t care about what people choose to draw. Bakugo isn’t real. Her OC isn’t real. The show isn’t REAL. It’s a manga and anime…no real children are being harmed. If her art makes anyone uncomfortable, block her and move on. It’s not that complicated. No one is responsible for YOUR triggers or feelings.

Just the fact that the debate blog is trying to argue that literal child-porn artists like Erinclover or Achinaroll are somehow ‘better’ or ‘less bad’ than Yoiquu and On.Keelita proves they have a psychotic obsession with the latter 2. If they actually came from a good place and were truly concerned with improper content about minors then they wouldn’t put one alleged ‘problematic’ artist over another one, they’d treat everyone on same grounds but oop—

Responding for the minor drama (TW: drama)

I only have experience with female and non straight fic writers and obviously what I say won’t apply to everyone/every situation. ANYWAYS, I think there’s a big difference between women writing fan fiction (sexual or not) and men (for the most part). So when I say men I mean a specific group that I’m sure everyone knows of.

When I see (typically straight) men make fan art or fics about characters that appear as minors they rarely ever stress that the character is aged up, unless they have a large audience, but even then, everyone knows that isn’t really “implied”. The specific type of men I’m thinking of get their rocks off on the thought of having a sweet “child like” or “innocent” waifu and being able to do as they please with them.

I hardly ever see men writing or making art of non sexual content with these characters, or at least the ratio is terrible. Many female creators (and basically everyone outside of that specific male group) have a great balance of platonic, romantic, and sexual content.

If you were to compare explicit artwork, you’d notice a big difference. Young female characters are often drawn bare and with child-like features. (Large round eyes/face, rounded limbs/hands) When younger male characters are drawn, they are clearly being portrayed as an adult. They’ll have body hair, defined facial features and muscles, ect.

Idk if all this makes sense, but what I’m trying to say is that very generally speaking, men are typically more predatory than women when it comes to content making. Men tend to get off on and attach to the pervyness of being with said character, women like the character as a whole and attach to them as a person.

Fucking FACTS. You’re completely correct. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it until I’m blue in the face. I have yet to see a man go wow, this female character is strong, smart, and independent and I REALLY like her for x personality trait or plot point. I had a guy try to rp with me and wanted me to rp Uraracka. When I asked why, he responded with “because she’s sexy, and fit, and loves Deku”. Like wtf even is that.

Anyway, if the people whining really had an issue they’d be going after mangakas and animation studios. There are 90 billion fan arts of the gals from sailor moon half naked. HELL Usagi is dating a college freshman, as a high school student and that shit is CANON and no one complains. Let’s not even go into dojinshi artists, nor the concept of Yaoi where majority of the men look like 14 year old boys.

Specifically for MHA, whenever someone goes “but sexualization!!!” I immediately point to Momo. Like yeah, it’s her quirk or whatever, but Horikoshi literally wrote in a reason to keep Mirio’s clothes from coming off when he uses his quirk, but couldn’t do the same for Momo, who is 15? Cmon now lmao.

TLDR: If these people wanted lasting change and really felt that upset about ‘sEXuALiZiNG mINoRS’ they’d be looking to change the industry, not harassing fic writers and smaller artists. Take your complaints up to the manga writers. Try and lobby for some sort of change to what is considered CP and what is not. It’s a pointless waste of time because at the end of the day, none of us are going to stop writing/drawing smut because of a few people who are annoyed about what we choose to do with a fictional character. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Really curious to know your opinion on ackerbangbang and her side acc ackerboomboom. I don't have much thoughts about Tekka but her side acc that ships Senjuro Rengoku who is 14 at best with the three girls of the butterfly mansion who are probably not older than 10 years old. I know they are aged up (sometimes) but it still grosses me out a lot 💀 Imo it's no better than Erinclover

Wow she is no better than Erin. The fact that she romanticizes and normalizes a 13/14-year-old "dating" three 10-year-old girls at the same time is something I find very troubling. Why is an adult person trying to canonically force fictional underage characters to date and enter into a relationship? I am downright shocked when I read in her fanfic that the little 10 year old girls consider Senjuro their as "boyfriend". In my opinion, that is very inconsiderate. Little kids don't have the mental capacity to be in a relationship. Do you honestly think three little girls will be totally fine sharing one same boy? Of course not. No parent in their sane mind will ever allow their 10 yo child to date a 13/14 yo boy wtf.

The only time she made them "older" was when they had their own children, and can someone explain to us why Senjuro has three wives? Is it because of religion? I know that in Mormon and Islam a man can have multiple wives, but Senjuro is neither a Mormon nor a Muslim. Kyn is a Japanese manga/anime set in 19th/20th century Japan. I'm not sure how a normal Japanese man can have three wives? Surely in the past the emperor or high-ranking officers had an "official wife" and thousands of concubines, but Senjuro is neither a king nor a high-ranking government official. Even now in the 21st century, it is not possible by law for a Japanese man to have three wives unless if it is a polyamory relationship? Even that is not common in Japan. She should respect the Kny universe and Japanese culture. Also, it seems that she really has a fetish for twins and triplets.
