Everyone thinks he hates kids but he actually doesn’t and just avoids them because he gets uncomfortable being near them.

He would give you rocks, shells, sea glass and pretty leaves or trinkets he finds while out on missions!

Toby uses Maladaptive Daydreaming as a coping mechanism when the reality of what his life is starts to feel too real.

He tried to smoke once before but choked and got embarrassed so he practiced smoking with a vape and now he has vape and gossips with Nina

Actually doesn’t like waffles much and finds them unsatisfying to eat. He prefers pancakes.

Always has at least one infected wound as he often doesn’t even notice he has a wound because of his CIPA.

sup, I am a fan of osamu tezuka as you can see and im curious on how you draw in tezuka’s art style. Wonder if you have a guide that can help. If you do thanks!

well, I’ll do my best to explain, but idk if my answer will help much, haha. the long and short of it is I’d already been studying his art and teaching myself to draw his characters for months. it also helps that my own natural art style is fairly round and cute and was influenced by art that was influenced by tezuka long before I started actually reading his work.

for the specific drawing in question though, I started by trying to think of what “brand” of tezuka character I wanted each dr character to be, and then I gathered together references to stare at and try to replicate. here’s a few of them

I also had my physical copies of astro boy and princess knight right next to me, and I frequently flipped through them for ideas (noelle might as well be a direct trace of sapphire in her flaxen-haired maiden disguise, lol).

so…… no I don’t really have a guide. but I hope this helps in some way anyway?? I think when you’re trying to emulate an art style different from your own, the most important thing is to have a wide variety of examples of that style and not to get stuck on how one or two iconic characters/images are drawn. I probably could have gathered even more if I did more digging and was more well-read, and been more accurate with little details.

Clare is mischaracterized a lot lowkey because I think people love Clare for being an anxious lesbian so much that they instinctively craft a more palatable version of that trait onto her and it’s a shame because Clare is a fascinating little beastie. She is childhood friends with the likes of Erin and Michelle for a reason after all. She is arguably just as selfish as Erin /affectionate and just as impulsive as Michelle /affectionate it just is formed around the insane molten hot anxiety disorder inside her little lesbian brain. She thinks she’s better than them when in reality she is just as bad.

I’d argue she stays selfish /affectionate longer than Erin does. Until the final two episodes I fully believe Clare would have sold any of them up the river for a corn chip if that corn chip would save her skin. It’s often said that Clare and James hold the single brain cell but I think the truth is likely that Orla holds it and they just forgot to use it or hand it to someone cause they were going ham on a bag of sweets.

If you hate Erin for her selfish traits and just kinda forget that Clare is just as bad then idk what to tell you they’re birds of a feather.

The cats of the Twolegplace that are organized under Jay in Yellowfang's Secret and Tallstar's Revenge that (probably) later became Bloodclan are by far the most underrated non-clan group in Warrior Cats. I'm probably their biggest fan by default. I love them even though the way they're portrayed in Yellowfang's Secret is so bad and xenophobic (iirc from reading the book very recently there are at least two instances of Shadowclan cats referring to cats in this group as 'it' and one of them was by Yellowpaw, they attack the kits in the nursery, they attack Cloudpaw and nearly kill him with no clear cause, and Boulder and Russetpaw want to join Shadowclan 'because they (Shadowclan) could have chosen to kill them (in battle) but didn't' which is just... yeah not killing the equivalent of two thirteen year olds is the peak of honor I guess.) Typing this out is making me realize that my love for them mostly has to do with the fact that Yellowfang's Secret is one of the books I owned as a kid and not because they were portrayed well or anything lmao. Also I was a misandrist even then as a nine year old so I loved the super tough gang boss granny ordering everyone around. I would've been over the moon if the Sisters had become a thing when I was a kid and I'm fond of them now but Jay's group is the one I'm nostalgic for. She's the best cat in Warriors with 'jay' in their name and I'll stand by that statement.
