hi, i have a question if you don't mind. beside cap space and contracts numbers, is there a limite to the number of emergency loan a team can have? (about the sens)
Hi anon! I never mind!!! Honestly I get super duper excited whenever anyone hits my inbox because it makes me feel like I'm doing something good sooo... Okay, enough about me, meet me under the cut! 💜
The first thing about emergency loans is that their use is dependant on cap space. The Sens have three emergency loans right now - Tyler Kleven, Nikolas Matinpao, and Jacob Bernard-Docker. All three are right side defensemen (RD) replacing Thomas Chabot, Artem Zub, and Erik Brannstrom. Chabot is notably on LTIR. LTIR is complicated as hell and I don't want to hit you with the specifics of it. There are jokes of "capologists" in certain organizations (notably the Leafs and Canucks) whose main job it is to navigate the cap. But there are a few important things you need to know.
Chabot's salary is $8m. In theory, since Chabot is now on LTIR, the Sens can call up players with up to $8m salary regularly, and not as emergency recalls. The thing is - if you've read my waivers primer - that emergency recall keeps players waiver-exempt (at least, for a while). So a team in a situation like the Sens prefers to start by using emergency recall, when they can, and then shift into regular recall. This is why Chabot was only placed on LTIR on the 27th - Bernard-Docker was called up as an emergency recall first. Then, when Zub and Brannstrom were injured, Kleven and Matinpao could come up and Chabot could go on LTIR while preserving Bernard-Docker's waiver exemption, which is important because otherwise he isn't waiver exempt and the Senators don't want that.
Also, when Chabot goes on LTIR, he is no longer considered a "roster" player. This is important for call-up reasons and contract numbers on the roster. See, the main "rules" of emergency callups are as follows:
1) If the team has no cap room (must be at least $875k) with which to call up a player,
2) And someone can't play and the team plays with fewer than 18 skaters and 2 goalies for one game as a result,
3) Then you can use emergency recalls to call up players on an emergency basis with cap hits up to $875k,
4) But when the players get healthy those emergency recalls MUST be sent down.
So no, there's theoretically no limit to the NUMBER of emergency recalls, as far as I can tell. Theoretically, you can play an entire team of emergency recalls, but that would require every player on your team to be severely injured and you'd probably end up using your LTIR space to deal with that instead. And also be actively tanking at that point.
But the thing is - emergency recalls do NOT come with a cap hit. They, themselves, do not count against the cap. That's the point of the emergency recall, after all.
I think that's it! I love talking about the Sens because there is literally always something going on with those boys, so thank YOU for the ask! If something isn't clear, let me know and I'll re-explain it 💜

and i will always, always, be defending the "plot-holes" that are not actually plot-holes at all. i've seen people on facebook complain so many times about the ending of the game - about the siege of talmberg to be more exact.
"just attack it", "just take it down", "why doesn't divish just do it", "ohh his wife he can't even fuck! nobody gives a damn", "henry doesn't even really care for radzig at this point" etc.
and i have to go back to that one solitary thing this game literally cannot exist without: love. it's the main aspect, it's the pillars the story stands on, it's everything.
medieval movies and books like to picture the old times ala skyrim: "my son was very young when he died. but he did so while doing his duty. he fell for skyrim! he fell for the empire! i do not mourn for i am proud!"
"oh, i loved my father more than anything. but he is gone now. that is life."
it is. but. hear me out. people back then - were actually just like people now. we break down when we lose someone we adore, cherish, love, protect. no matter how stoic we may be, we don't take it lightly, do we?
so, if you think about it, is it a plot-hole, when divish refuses to attack his castle because
it's his home and he loves it
his wife is in there
his friend is also in there?
robard would not attack if it were divish in there. radzig would not attack if it were henry in there. hans would not attack if it were hanush in there. istvan would not attack if it were erik in there. captain bernard would not attack if it were hans in there.
it all comes back to love. and wanting people you care about safe.
martin running back to certain death because his wife is in the village when the cumans attack.
both parents worrying about nothing but their beloved son even while they are being brutally murdered.
everyone on talmberg willing to lock henry up just to keep him away from skalitz (for reasons yet unknown).
theresa making a last stand for someone just as lost as her.
the understanding he's met with when henry comes and admits his failure to radzig, the fact that he went against direct order. (nothing, absolutely nothing else but radzig being in debt to martin, or radzig being someone close to henry, could explain the understanding, the acceptance, and the outcome of the whole situation. how do you think henry - who is just a young man, not a hero, not a dragonborn, not a chosen one - would get away with all this?)
henry backed out of the night raid on talmberg because hans was wounded and wouldn't survive long enough for the mission to succeed.
hans (in one of the outcomes) carried him out on his back, saving his fat ass. no time for glory, no time for saving the hostages when it's suddenly your best friend who is on the ground and bleeding out. he might have succeeded with the mission. yet he didn't hesitate when suddenly it was him who was put in the shoes of those who just wanted to keep their loved ones safe. it was stephanie for divish (he approved the raid). it was radzig for henry (he was the one who went first and most willingly). and it was henry for hans (who immediately backed out on henry's behalf). all those actions were based on love.
would you attack talmberg, knowing there was someone you loved? someone you wanted to know better, someone you wanted to learn how to love, someone who could have been much closer if he only tried? someone you only just met?
the whole story starts with love, continues with love, ends with love. it is everywhere you look and you don't even have to romance anyone to see it, to feel it. it is in the npcs' lives, it's the motivation behind so many actions. it's in henry's decisions. in your decisions.
because, don't you just love this game?

━ 𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐟
˗ˏˋ𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 ˎˊ˗
𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 —grumpy!erik johnson x sunshine!nanny!reader 𝐰𝐜 — 1.1k 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬 — in erik's absence, his nanny takes over staging the family's elf on the shelf in order to keep the magic alive for his children. results are... questionable.
𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞 — i'm unhealthily attached to this made-up family send help
˗ˏˋ 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 ˎˊ˗
JOSIE JOHNSON is thoroughly unimpressed by her Elf.
“Snow angels? In sprinkles? Groundbreaking.”
Dissatisfaction narrows her gray-blue eyes as she stands in front of the kitchen island.
Bernard, the Johnson family’s special scout from the North Pole, is lying limp against the marble countertop in a pool of red and green. The sugary spillage is low-effort at best, especially compared to his iPad drive-in movie yesterday and the miniature golf course the day before that.
Dumping a container of cheap sprinkles—and not even the expensive variety with confetti shapes and edible glitter—wasn’t going to cut it.
Someone was going to have to do better.
“Uh-oh! Looks like Bernard had a wild night,” Erik Johnson, her father, announces as he pads in from the dining room.
If he thinks he’s being subtle, he’s doing a terrible job. His daughter can see straight through him; his voice goes all sorts of wonky when he has a secret.
And his dye-stained fingertips aren’t doing him any favors, either.
“Wild for who? A first grader?”
Josie was in second grade now. She is far too smart to fall for his poor acting and, evidently, much too cool to bother with humoring him.
Erik cocks his head to the side. His kid could be snarky, but she typically postponed doling out remarks until the afternoon. Or until he’s had his second helping of caffeine.
Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today, he thinks to himself.
Aloud, though, he opts for a simple joke. “Well, I think it was wild. Do I look like a first grader to you?”
He sets his coffee mug beside the espresso machine and puffs out his chest like a peacock. Erik’s already 6’4 without trying, so when he raises both hands and lefts onto his tip-toes for emphasis, his head nearly brushes the ceiling. He’s grinning, wide and bright.
He expects his daughter to giggle at his antics like she did when she was younger or, at the very least, crack a reluctant smile out of second-hand embarrassment.
She does neither.
Rather than pearly teeth, Erik’s met with the whites of her eyes. If Josie had rolled them any harder, they'd have gotten stuck facing the wrong way. That’s what her older brother, Reese, told her whenever she did it.
The irony of the repeated red-lettered phrase "Be Nice!" on the white background of her Grinch-themed pajamas isn’t lost on him.
“Josephine Johnson, I thought I made myself clear the last time we talked about this; you do not roll your eyes at me. Or anyone, for that matter. It’s very rude,” he reprimands sternly. “What’s gotten into you?”
Josie crosses her arms, unphased, and fixes him with an unwavering glare. She could do this all day if need be.
“What’d she do this time?” Reese asks through a yawn as he strolls into the kitchen.
You, the family’s live-in nanny, are not far behind. You’re rubbing the sleep from the corners of your tired eyes when Josie darts to your side.
She looks up at you expectantly, eyes wide and pleading. Silently, they beg for you to agree to whatever she’s planning to say next.
“Can you be in charge of it again? Please, please, please?” she asks, so sweetly she might give herself a cavity.
Josie tugs on your arm to drive home her adolescent anguish when you aren’t instantly compliant.
Panic fizzles in your chest. There was no way she knew, right?
She couldn’t. No way. You were still a few years off from the dicey reveal. No one in her grade had spilled the beans yet, and the adults in her life were content to keep up the ruse.
Surely, she meant as the Elf’s supervisor or an assistant.
Wrong.
“Bernard looks so much cooler whenever Dad lets you set up his pranks instead of doing it himself. See? Look how lazy he was this time,” Josie explains while tugging you over to the scene of the crime. “All he did was spill my sprinkles all over the counter and set my Elf on top of the mess. Like, could it get any lamer than that? He’s probably all sticky now, and he’ll have to stay that way because he’d drown in the washing machine!
“No, I didn’t,” Erik says a little too quickly, tone noticeably defensive. “Bernard—who is perfectly fine and not sticky at all, for the record—must’ve been way too tired when he got back from visiting Santa last night to do anything else. He didn’t even bother making it hard for you to find him this morning. I’d do something “lame” too if I spent the entire night flying home from far, far away.”
Bernard wasn't the only member of their household who spent the night up in the inky sky; Erik had been in an entirely different country only four hours ago. And, instead of going straight to bed like his body urged him, he spent an hour arranging the stupid little Elf into what he thought was a fun scenario for his daughter to find the following morning.
Now, he wishes he had just left Bernard on the mantle.
He blames you. They wouldn’t be in this mess if you hadn’t introduced her to the concept. Fuck your quirky childhood tradition. All it'd caused were problems.
“I’m not a baby anymore. I know Bernard isn’t actually one of Santa’s elves!” Josie shouts, growing angry.
Reese mumbles something to the effect of “Could’ve fooled me…” under his breath, and Josie’s face pinches with frustration.
Like the miniature teenager she’s rapidly morphing into, the youngest Johnson massages the fold between her eyebrows. Then, her outburst matures into an accusation. “I know you’ve been hiding him this whole time.”
Erik balks at the allegation.
Irritated, she continues, “I’ve been sneaking down to watch you do it since I was, like, five years old. It's not my fault you aren't very observant. Or that your footsteps sound like an elephant’s. But I don’t care about that. I don't care that I know, but I do care how much effort you put into it.”
Josie clutches your hand in hers and smiles. She could get away with murder with the deep dimples indented on either side of her mouth —and she knows it, too.
She also knows flattery can get her wherever she wants. “Which is why I want you to take over again. You did such a good job while he was away. The goldfish in the paper pond was super cute, and you even made sure he was watching my favorite movie at the drive-in!"
“Fine, you know what? You’re right,” Erik confesses, conceding to his eight-year-old with a toss of his hands. “And if it really matters that much, I’ll never touch the Elf again. Okay? I give up full control and responsibility.”
Josie positively beams. She always got her way eventually.
“So, how did you even figure it out, anyway?” Reese asks.
The question is garbled; he couldn’t wait until his mouth wasn’t full of Lucky Charms to make his inquiry.
“How could I not?” Josie retorts. Her facial expression is equal parts annoyance and ridicule. Reese’s eyes loop. His little sister clarifies with a huff, “Obviously, he isn’t a real elf, Reese. Santa needs all the help he can get to make sure everyone on the Nice List gets exactly what they asked for every year. Why would he send an actual elf, who should be building a bike or sewing a teddy bear, to spy on me for weeks?”
Fair point, you think to yourself.
“Wait a minute... If you knew he wasn’t real the entire time, why did you let us keep hiding him?” Erik asks, a quizzical dent in his forehead.
Josie perks up, apparently thrilled to clue them in on the motivation behind her feigned ignorance. “Mrs. Thornton says even adults need a creative outlet because it makes them happier. Especially when they’re grouchy. Clearly, you’re the exception, Daddy.”
Reese honks, sending milk across the room from his nostrils.
Your sudden amusement is muffled by your free hand.
If it were humanly possible, there would be steam billowing from Erik’s crimson ears.

I'LL BE WATCHING - Review
DISTRIBUTOR: Uncork'd Entertainment
SYNOPSIS: When Julie’s sister is brutally murdered, she and her tech genius husband, Marcus, move to the country. In order to ensure Julie’s peace of mind and safety he installs the newest version of a top-notch A.I. and security system he developed. When he is called away on a overseas work trip, she gets becomes trapped inside the house and is convinced that the killer is playing a sick game of cat-&-mouse in order to psychological torture her before killing her.
REVIEW: I'LL BE WATCHING at its core is a thriller that embraces contemporary sci-fi elements in the third act. Eliza Taylor carries the film as the terrorized heroine being stalked in a beautiful modern home in a rural location.
The screenplay has a slow burn as it presents numerous red-herrings and the suspense and tension builds. The story focuses on Julie and the characters are in service of creating her character and psychological state. Some of the other characters, like the repairman, postman, and the sheriff appear a few times so Julie has someone to interact with and keep the viewer guessing. I like that the A.I. was named Hera, a reference to the Greek god of marriage, women and family, and the protector of women during childbirth, and it is what is watching over Julie while Marcus is away. In the third act the plot presents a big reveal, which the narrative attempts to keep out of the suspect spotlight, but I had a few problems with it. Clearly there are some excuses to be made as to how the characters did not see it coming. While on my suspect list, the reveal didn’t have the impact it should have had for me due to some of the issues I had with the film’s internal logic. I also had a problem with the dialogue for the A.I. If you have any experience with programs, such as Alexa, Hera just doesn’t stand up. It sounds more like dialogue for a classic robot than a futuristic or state of the art A.I. program. There could be an explanation on the part of the filmmakers for that, but it seems a bit sloppy given how good the rest of the dialogue is.
Actress Eliza Taylor creates a compelling character and does a wonderful job carrying the film. When we meet her after her sister murder, she is still stressed and builds off of that as the terror mounts. Her performance reminded me of some of the early films of Mia Farrow where she played a young terrorized heroine. Post her sister’s murder, Julie is wearing a medical boot and they mention she has a broken ankle. As there is no explanation, I wondered if the actress may have injured herself prior to filming. In the film her character consumes a few glasses of wine and hopefully a few of them were real. Actor Bob Morley plays Julie’s likable husband Marcus. He has issues but he is trying to work on their relationship. Initially you feel for and can empathize with him. Veteran actor David Keith was underutilized in the role of the sheriff. Also, I was disappointed that the cat who played Pepper was not listed in the credits. It has quite a few scenes with Eliza/Julie and a big dramatic moment.
The production values are splendid. I enjoyed the cinematography, the editing creates a good pace, and they take full advantage of the location. The production design on Hera feels like an afterthought, but is okay. The costumes are simple and there are enough of them to help support the passing of time. I enjoyed Mark Sayfritz’s score. It’s just below the surface of the visuals and performance to support the atmosphere and mode of the scene.
The sci-fi thriller I'LL BE WATCHING is a fine piece of filmmaking with captivating performance by Eliza Taylor. The tension and suspense build to a payoff that lacks the shocking impact it should have due to issues with the film’s flawed logic. Given the film’s overall tone, it feels like a movie of the week/Lifetime Channel type of film with more of a PG feel than an R or PG-13 rating. It’s worth taking in given Eliza Taylor’s performance.

Pig shenanigans(Vincent x [MC])
That ask about Vincent's hypothetical pet pig inspired me.
Stuck in a Yandere Visual Novel... HELP!! is made by @pumpkin-spike18
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It never accured to [MC], that he would step into a place like this.
"Welcome to my humble home, [MC]!"
Though the 'home' itself wasn't humble as Vincent stated, it was pretty moderate for the home of a family as rich as Vincent's. [MC] fell silent at the sight before him. Once they stepped through the large, double winged door, he was greeted by a wide staircase leading up to the next upper floor, and a man, who was dressed in a butler suit.
"Greetings, young master!" The older man bowed his head slightly at the taller boy. Then with an emotionless face, he turned to [MC]. "I didn't know we'd have a guest over."
Finally realizing the suddenness of it all, [MC]'s face turned red in embarrassment. Is he going to be a bother for these people? Is it really okay if he's here? What if he damages something? Like accidentally scraping the furniture? Or dirtying the Persian carpet? Or worse, breaking something, they would've wanted to put on an auction, like a century old vase?! He was shaking like a leaf at these thoughts.
Vincent gave a light chuckle at the boy's reaction. His arm found its way around [MC] shoulder, pulling the burnet close, the sudden contact making the shorter boy snap out of his thoughts.
"Bernard, this is [MC], a very good friend of mine. [MC], this is Bernard, my personal butler." As he said this, a chill ran through [MC]'s body. "If you need anything, don't fret to ask him, okay?"
The shorter boy weakly nodded as a reply.
"G-good evening, si-"
But before [MC] could even finish, a loud scream-like noise ran through the house. In fear, [MC] grabbed onto Vincent, greatly surprising the red head. Once the scream died down however, [MC] quickly let go, muttering out an apology.
"WHAT THE F*CK WAS THAT?!" [MC] shouted mentally, another, more gory kind of thought process sprouting in his mind.
Surprisingly, instead of hurrying, thumps, paired with the sound heavy panicked breathing coming from the basement as [MC] imagined, a series of rapid little clip-claps echoed from upstairs, paired with... oinking? Finally, the causer of these confusing noises made an entrance at the top of the stairs.
"William!" Vincent cheered, crouching down, with his arms spread wide open. In an instant, the pink, chubby figure of a piglet dashed against his chest, which Vincent embraced warmly. "Aww, did you miss me that much~?"
[MC] watched the two of them quietly, pondering at the pair before him. The piglet was happily grunting into Vincent's chest, and Vincent stroking its head with great care. Seeing Vincent like this felt so foreign to [MC]. Yet in his chest, it awoke something warm. Subconsciously, a small smile bloomed on his face. Completely unrelated, his face started to feel warmer too.
Vincent, not forgetting about his guest, straightened up, the pink pet still secured in his arms.
"[MC], this is my 'son', Prince William Erik Ferdinand Albert Alfred Gustavo Malfred Minyon Raul de Champagne the 1st!" Seeing [MC]'s stunned face, Vincent quickly added. "...or Will, for short."
[MC] hummed, then gave a light, warm smile at the little animal. "Hi William! It's nice to meet you! Huh?" He exclaimed, pointing at Will's nose. "Is that a little heart there? How adorable~!"
Other than the nose, little heart marks were also present on William's ears, around his eyes, and, like a cutie mark, on both sides on his upper thighs.
Vincent smiled, his teeth glinting in the sunlight. "Oh but, be not fooled!" He continued, lifting William up to his face. "This one right here is a known troublemaker around these parts. A stealer of hearts!" He announced, sounding as if he was scolding the pig. "And also, a thief of anything left on a plate, he he!"
[MC] smiled at Vincent's remarks, looking back at the pink little creature. In turn, it looked back, with its dark, abyssal eyes. Its nose wiggled, head reaching closer to the young boy. At first, [MC] began to extend a hand towards the pig, but quickly decided against it when the pig stretched its head towards him. Noticing this, Vincent lifted the animal to him.
"Don't worry, he doesn't bite. He's a very friendly piggy, right Wills?" Vincent cooed.
The two, [MC] and William, stared at each other for a short moment, then fuelled by a little confidence, [MC] gently reached for the pig's nose, letting it smell his hand. After some happy grunts from Will, [MC] went in, and started petting its head. His fur felt surprisingly soft, but thin.
"Wanna try holding him?" Vincent asked, not waiting for an answer as he placed the piglet into [MC]'s hands. In an instant, William made himself comfortable in the unsure hands of the burnet. As [MC] started scratching the lower part of his back, William let out a series of short, happy grunts.
"See? He already likes you!"
[MC] became more relaxed as the pig breathed slowly and calmly in his hold. "What a good boy." [MC] breathed out. Vincent gazed at [MC], his smile softening at the sight.
"I knew he would belong here."
After a while, Vincent started to feel that perhaps William was taking up a bit too much of [MC] affection and attention.
"Well then!" Vincent broke the moment, clapping his hands together. "I say let's go to my room. It's perfect for studying, plus little Wills here still needs his naps. Come here Will!" But as he reached for the pet, it let out an angry yelp, tucking itself deeper into [MC] arms, leaving both boys shocked.
Confused and unsure, [MC] looked at his host helplessly. "It's okay, I'll just put him onto the ground." But oh, William isn't some weak-willed pig. When the burnet tucked a hand under his belly, the pig gently bit into the sleeves of [MC]'s coat. Vincent let out a loud horrified gasp.
"William! Bad pig!"
In the end, Vincent literally had to tear William off of the poor boy. Thankfully, the coat didn't tear, but it was stained with saliva.
"Bad, very bad pig! I raised you better than this!" Vincent scolded the pet, then turned to his guest.
"[MC], I'm so, so, so sorry! He's never done this before!" With William still in his hand, Vincent pulled out a pristine white handkerchief from his pocket, giving it to [MC], who hesitantly accepted it.
"... t-thanks." He replied, trying to get off as much of the stain as possible. It barely did anything. "... I'll try running it under some water."
Vincent nodded. "I'll show you where the bathroom is." On their way, Vincent kept glaring angrily at William. "Little traitor." He whispered in a stern tone, but William just grunted happily.
With [MC]'s coat drying on the back of the chair in front of Vincent's desk and with William calmly dozing off in his little bed, Vincent and [MC] were on the red head's bed. Vincent lying on his stomach and [MC] sitting sideways, both of them studying chemistry. Turns out, Vincent wasn't as good at raising his grades as he was raising William. Lucky for him, he became friends with a star-student of their high-school.
[MC] wondered how this could even be possible. He had always assumed Vincent had private tutors or that his parents made sure Vincent had his studies as a priority. In the end, [MC] realized that even the fact that Vincent studied at a public school and not some fancy private one is a question not worth prying.
"So, in more simple terms- hey, are you listening?" [MC] called out, snapping the red head out of his daydream.
"Of course! All my attention is reserved for you~!" Vincent replied, a cocky smile widening on his face, resting in his hands, his elbows digging into the soft mattress, while swinging his legs back and forth, giving the picture-perfect image of a schoolgirl from an anime. [MC] let out a tired sigh, turning back to the notebook. "But god, this is really boring." Vincent continued, also sighing tiredly.
"I know, but this is important. Especially since you have a test coming up. So, pay attention!"
Vincent huffed in annoyance, turning to lay onto his back.
"Vincent, come on! I don't have all day, you know." [MC] pleaded, to which Vincent huffed more.
"He's acting like a toddler."
"Why should I even know how to solve a problem like this? I mean look!" Turning back to the notebook, pointing at the unsolved chemical equation. "Why should 'I' know this? It's not like I'll be a chemist or something."
[MC] looked at the irritated boy, petting his back in empathy. "I wholeheartedly understand, but the sooner this is done, the less we'll have to suffer with it."
Vincent looked back at him with puppy eyes, as if it wasn't him who asked [MC]'s help with the subject. Though, with Vincent lying on his stomach, face half buried in his arms, paired with these eyes, he looked more like a helpless kitten. [MC] almost felt his heart melt at the sight (only almost).
"I know!" Jumped up Vincent. "How about we ditch this, and watch a movie?" He continued, with such confidence, [MC] started envy it.
"He's not taking this seriously..."
"Vincent, if you fail this test, you'll have to rewrite it, and then you'll have to suffer with practicing this again. Do you want that?"
Vincent stayed silent for a few seconds.
"Would you help me again if I asked?" He blurted the question out.
[MC] felt his stomach tighten. That question felt a bit dangerous. He didn't know why.
"I-I guess... but only if-"
At that, Vincent flashed a smile.
"Then what am I supposed to be worried about?"
[MC] didn't know whether he wanted to laugh or cry.
"Then why am I even here?" [MC] thought out loud.
"Huh?"
"If you don't care about the grade, then why am I helping you study?" [MC] asked again. Vincent remained silent. Without a proper response, [MC] jumped off the bed, and headed to the bedroom's door. "Tutoring's over."
"It's about time I go home anyway."
Jumping off the bed, the burnet remembered something.
"[MC], wait!" Vincent called out, but the other boy didn't pay much attention to it.
"I almost left without my jacket..."
Quickly turning around, [MC] didn't see Vincent getting off of the bed, and crashed into him, resulting in both of them falling back onto the bed.
"Oof- sorry! I- " [MC] blurted out, before realizing the predicament he was in. Vincent's hip was caged in between his arms, and said young man was staring into his brown eyes, like a surprised baby deer. Face flushed, breathing slow, eyes fixated on each other.
[MC] figured he should stand up and let the man go, but Vincent quickly caught his hand, holding it firmly, but not in a hurting way.
"Please... don't leave yet!" Vincent asked. "I'll take it seriously. Promise! Just... stay a little longer!"
[MC] let a defeated sigh. He really needed to go home, otherwise Newt will think Vincent had kept him prisoner. Plus, he and Leon had plans.
"Vincent, I must go. I could come back another day or-"
From the corner of his eye, [MC] noticed his jacket... moving? It fell off the chair and bolted through the half open door.
"MY JACKET!!" [MC] shouted.
"My god, WILLIAM!!" Vincent joined in.
And thus, the pig hunt began. At first, they couldn't track down where William ran off to. Heck, [MC] didn't even understand why he even stole his jacket.
"I really don't understand what got into him. He's never done this before." Vincent wondered. [MC] continued to look around in the dining area, believing that perhaps William got distracted by hunger.
"Vincent, I'd appreciate it if you helped me here." [MC] replied. Vincent huffed in annoyance.
"Why do you even need to leave? It's not even that late yet." He mumbled. [MC] rolled his eyes.
"Vincent, if you're not helping me, I won't come back anymore." [MC] retaliated. Before Vincent could even move, the familiar grunts of William rang from the room next to the diner.
"He's there!" The burnet exclaimed, rushing towards the sound, Vincent following him close. Lo-and-behold, William was rolling around, playing with the sleeves of the jacket.
"Stop right the-"
Vincent, swiftly and elegantly, rushed to his pet and picked him up.
"Got him!" He cheered, proudly. William shrieked and kicked in his hands, but Vincent's grip was firm on him.
Much like the first time, the jacket was cowered in saliva and... bits of carrot? When did Will have the time to-
"Here. Sorry, it got dirty again... ew." Vincent handed the jacket over, holding Will in one hand, pressing him to his chest. "I could have it washed here and give it back on Monday, if that's fine with you." He offered. This put [MC] in quiet a dilemma. He'd still need a jacket for that outing he had planned with Le-
"I can lend you one of my cloaks. Would that be okay?"
Even the thought shook [MC].
"B-but what if I ruin it?" He stuttered. With a calm smile, Vincent shrugged.
"It's just a piece of fabric. Who cares? You on the other hand could catch a cold without one." With a blush growing on his face, the red head averted his gaze. "I'm more concerned about that."
[MC] felt a quick flutter in his heart.
"Wha- what is this? He's just worried. ...yet-"
"So, when are you coming back to help me study?" Vincent continued. [MC] stared at him in silence. "What? I helped you, and you promised!"
"What a way to ruin the moment, Vincent."
With the warm cloak keeping him warm, [MC] bid goodbye to Vincent.
"Don't forget then! You're mine for the weekend~!" Vincent yelled. [MC] rolled his eyes at him. He was starting to get used to these antics of the red head. With a final wave, [MC] stepped into his house and Vincent signalled to the chauffeur.
As the car pulled up to the front door, a chuckle tried to escape from Vincent's throat. He ran straight up to his room and let it all out. Once done, William trotted over to his owner and snuggled up to his leg. Vincent picked him up into his arms and dig into his pocket. Feeding the pig a few carrot slices he kissed the pet's head.
"Good boy."

5 REASONS TO WATCH ‘I’LL BE WATCHING!’
From Uncork’d Entertainment, I’ll Be Watching, starring Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley, is a fast-paced psychological thriller with a bit of a sci-fi twist. With breakout performances from its leading stars, director Erik Bernard has crafted a thriller that balances scares and surprises.
After her tech genius husband Marcus (Morley) leaves on a work trip, Julie (Taylor) – still mourning the loss of her sister – is trapped in their new, isolated home and must fight her own fears to stay alive.
Here are 5 reasons why you should watch I’ll Be Watching:
5) Eliza Taylor!
In the role of Julie, Eliza Taylor has to play a protagonist who becomes flawed by her doubts and delusions. Julie is traumatized by her past and stressed from her relationship. Audiences will also be guessing whether or not they should believe Julie due to Eliza’s captivating performance.
4) Bob Morley!
Bob Morley does a great job in his portrayal of Marcus. Morley gives interesting takes on the character making audiences guess whether or not they should trust him. Is Marcus the good guy because he’s struggling with his relationship with Julie? Or is Marcus really the bad guy because of his strained relationship with Julie?
3) The Direction!
Director Erik Bernard lays out the map of the hi- tech house and uses every corner, hallway to create a claustrophobic vibe. The cinematography by Thomas Hennessy makes great use of its single location. Thankfully, every shot inside the house doesn’t feel repetitive.
2) The Sci-Fi Twist!
Screenwriters Sara Sometti Michaels and Elisa Manzini have done wonders with their single location, while adding a clever sci-fi spin. Michaels and Manzini ground the sci-fi concept of a hi-tech house, which has its own drawbacks and issues. While giving the house a robotic female voice, Taylor is able to express more through her monologues.
1) A Solid Home Invasion Thriller!
With its sci-fi premise and surprising plot twists, I’ll Be Watching becomes a solid home invasion thriller. And if you’re a fan of The 100, you’re going to love seeing the leads on your screens again.
