June 8th- June 28th the best three weeks of my life so far. I spent those weeks in Hamburg and let me tell you I loved it obviously there were some ups and downs but they were quite minor things. I lived in Hotel & Restaurant Schröder placed in Groß Meckelsen. Me and my roomate (who we will not be talking about 🙄) were sadly isolated from the city as we were 60 km away from Hamburg with no transportation with exceptions on sundays. This wasn't a holiday but apprenticeships so my weekdays were very busy. I worked in housekeeping as well as a dishwasher.

Erster Tag an der BCFE

Am Dienstag fuhren wir bereits um 7 Uhr alle gemeinsam zum College. Der Bus war leer, denn in Irland beginnt der Tag in der Regel erst später. In der Cafeteria haben wir Caroline, die Erasmusbeauftragte des Colleges, getroffen. Sie ist mit uns den Stundenplan durchgegangen und hat uns die Räume gezeigt. Die Herausforderung hierbei war, dass alle unterschiedliche Stundenpläne hatten. Fiona ist im Illustrationskurs, Isabelle und Melanie sind im Grafikdesignkurs und Maeve ist im Animationskurs. Ab 9 Uhr sind alle zu ihren Kursen aufgebrochen. Am Ende des Tages haben sich alle getroffen und wir sind zusammen Pizza essen gegangen. Fiona hatte das Fach "Professional Development", in welchen die Studenten an der Art-Challenge "Inktober" teilnehmen.

Have a business and make a change

Hello community, This April turned out to be a truly amazinng milestone in my life. Being part of the Croatian crew, I joined the Erasmus+ project "Your Case for Success" put together by Let's Do It - Georgia. I got Georgian culture, spend time in beautiful Bakuriani for a week, and bumped into some of the most incredible people I've ever known. I must say that I came back super motivated and inspired to make a change through social entrepreneurship. We learned how and what it means to truly contribute to society while still having a business. This journey helped me see the value in social work, widened my horizons in self-improvement, and left me with a bunch of ideas for businesses I want to start some day! I recommend this experience to anybody who is from the EU and wants to learn more about European values... or just have an amazing time :D Cheers,

Nächste Runde...

Am 14.04.2023 machen sich wieder fünf Auszubildende des Euro-BBW mit drei Betreuer*innen auf ins wahrscheinlich noch etwas kältere Finnland! In Oulu, hoch oben im Norden, machen sie zwei Wochen Praktikum und erleben Land & Leute. Finanziert wird das Ganze zu großen Teilen aus dem Erasmus+ - Programm.

Wir sind gespannt auf das, was sie dort erleben!
