I just finished reading a post which involved a perisex person trying to tell several intersex people that their experiences weren't real, because there wasn't proof.
So, because of this, fellow perisex people, stay in your fucking lane. If you don't deal with intersex experiences first hand, you DO NOT have the right to tell intersex people what is an experience or not. That is NOT your place.
It's DISGUSTING how it's so normalized to speak over intersex experiences, because perisex people don't experience them. Do you realize YOU are repeating the same exact CYCLE perisex cis people have done to trans people for millennia?
"Oh I just don't see it, it must not be real," or "I don't experience this, so it's not real", actually fuck you. Seriously.
INTERSEX PEOPLE DESERVE TO BE HEARD AND RESPECTED. IT'S NOT FUCKING ROCKET SCIENCE.

ok for the record, the intersex argument for afab transfems is still baseless, when we are coercively or especially forcefully assigned a gender at birth we are subject to the forces of that assignment. it doesn't make me get treated like a cis woman because i had a period, i got treated like a weird "man" with something wrong with me, the same is true for any intersex person, how our conditions may show themselves don't actually change our cagab, which is the thing that matters for our society to identify deviants. we're placed into a category and if we perform that category we get to stay, if we don't we get put in the deviant box and excluded. afabs performing womanhood is EXACTLY what is wanted from them, even if they think they're "biologically male." and that's the crux of it really, being intersex is a biological condition, and because transness and gender is defined socially by our systems privileging certain genders and forceful reinforcement of the binary, it has very little to do with biology (ex why the trump order has bad biology in it, it's not about biology, it's about exterminating a social group not defined by actual biology). the assholes who argue for the case of the intersex afab transfem simply believe that there is something about transfems that can be biological, as in something biologically male. they always bring up theoreticals like "well what if they were assigned female and grew up with a body that went through male puberty" and like... you know what happens right? they get hrt, often forcefully. they are not trans they are being forced to be CIS women, and society won't demonize them for that. no one bats an eye when an afab takes estrogen, no doctor struggles to prescribe it to them, no one gets fanatical about how there's an evil cult giving them estrogen, no one calls them predators or baeddels or pedophiles. like i'm sorry but if you think an intersex argument has any validity you are boiling transness down to something biological, boiling the identities of intersex people down to be centered entirely around our conditions, and treating real trans women like a costume that can be put on and taken off for fun while we truly suffer under the weight of constant transmisogyny. you are a stooge and you invite only your own to join, either purposely or unwittingly letting them be fed vitriol and lies that align with supporting the patriarchy and continuing the real oppression of real trans women. biggest tell that the afab transfem isn't transfem: she and those who support her care nothing for her transfem sisters, disgraceful
#sincerely an actual intersex transfem#i'm done hearing arguments for this#i lost every intersex friend i had cuz they all jumped on this bandwagon#and the shit they said about me and my sisters#the moment they were given the opportunity to villainize us#it made me shudder and weep and yes i'm being kinda poetic with my words rn but i don't know how else to express the feelings in me#i'm shaking with sorrow and rage and fear for my sisters#our erasure is indicative of it being acceptable to erase us... it can only mean danger#it can only mean danger#stay safe everyone...#transfeminism

biting whoever wrote this
HEY GUESS WHAT. THATS JUST WRONG. SEX ISNT CATEGORICAL. there are plenty of people who do fit into the binary categories, but sex, the combination of in-utero development with further effects of puberty that results in physical traits typically according to one's genes, IS NOT AND HAS NEVER BEEN BINARY.
you can *assign* people to one or the other, either by ignoring outliers manually "fixing" them so that they fit into your categories, sure. you can create a two-category system that way, but that explicitly denies the sheer amount of possibility built into sexual reproduction, and life as a whole.
binary sex is a social construct. biology has always been far more complicated than M or F, A or B, Yes or No.
#BITING. KILLING.#GRABBING THEM BY THE NECK AND SHAKING THEM LIKE A DOG TOY#why would you ignore statistical outliers when they make any field so much more interesting!!!!!#apologies if any of this is incorrect i just saw this in my stats homework and got pissed#i say shit#intersex#intersexism#yeah i understand that coding is literally the most binary field of science. but come on you cant just erase nuance like that#especially when you could pick LITERALLY ANYTHING.#like. i dunno. even or odd numbers!! students ages in years! whether or not a basketball is in the air or touching the ground!!#those are all categories without nuance! that ARENT INTERSEXIST!!!

you guys are so fucking ignorant about intersex people that it's insane. you have this view of intersex women fitting neatly into some stereotype of "regular afab with pcos" and you clearly have no fucking clue how AGAB is determined. i do understand the frustration with terms being misappropriated, this happens all the time for mixed poc as well, but when you turn the whole thing into a witch hunt based entirely off of deeply intersexist assumptions on how being intersex can work, you show that you're just as disgusted with us as cis perisex people are. we are nothing but a gotcha to you.
anyway when i defend "afab tma" and "afab transfems" im defending intersex women who had their sex reassigned at birth against their will and still materially live as trans women, i'm defending intersex women whose circumstances you do not understand that materially live as trans women, and im defending intersex women who do not have an assigned sex at birth and chose one based on factors you don't know or understand that materially live as trans women, and i'm defending intersex women who have self identified as "afab" based on their personal perceptions of their body rather than their legally assigned sex that still materially live as trans women.
"if your experience can be neatly described as cafab--" is just so revealing as to how little any of you know about how AGAB is actually assigned for intersex infants. there is no one standard. it comes down to the whims of your parents or doctor and no two people have the exact same experience. there are thousands of ways to be intersex.
you need to stop making assumptions about someone else's body and history and lived experiences based on what YOU imagine "cafab" is supposed to mean, or what it meant for the token intersex person in your friend group. it's not about "oooh we get mistaken for trannies sometimes" it's about materially living the same fucking experiences and circumstances as a trans women, being denied the option of being cis, being materially treated as trans without exception for our entire lives, and pointing out that women with this experience exist. to claim otherwise is as simple as saying you believe intersex women are inherently liars.
#intersex#perisexism#idiotic discourse#defining tme/tma based on agab is defeating the purpose#anyway i'm blocking this rhetoric on sight#if you erase intersex women you don't deserve to be around me

Folks that are born intersex have existed, still exist, are continuing to exist and will always exist.
No matter how much anybody in goverment or society will try to say or do, folks that are born intersex will always exist. God is intentional with whom He creates and He's intentional with His creativity, and we are examples and proof of that.
Nobody on earth will ever erase that.
Nobody on earth will ever change that.
God has ensured that it will not ever be changed and that it will not ever be erased.
God has ensured that we won't ever be erased.
And that's all that matters. 💛💜💛💜💛💜✝️✝️

If you’ve seen my recent posts, you’ll know that I went on a rant about Current Events TM.
And I got a response that made me go, “Wow, that’s not what I meant.” So I reblogged and made an addendum, thinking (for some reason) that “clearly this will clear things up so that they know I agree!”
But then I got another response that made it very clear: my og post isn’t doing what I meant it to do. I don’t know if my reblog would have made it better or not, and honestly, I’m not sure how much that matters.
More specifically, in said og post, I had put a section that was meant to highlight hypocrisy in what’s considered gender affirming care, the whole “trans people are the only ones receiving gender affirming care, so if we actually applied full logic of “banning gender affirming care” it would really screw over those people, too, which is bad”-type statements that people make a lot.
…Except I didn’t word it like that. I didn’t come at it from a reasonable, sympathetic approach, rather an angry one. I was angry because I was thinking of the people I know who don’t give a rat’s ass about trans people (intersex or perisex) or intersex people (trans or cis) even if they are intersex themselves. Why? Because the specific people I know don’t consider themselves to be intersex at all, even though they are.
These people make up a small subset of their larger groups. I thought it would be clear that I was angry at this subset. After all, I’m also angry at subsets of trans people (especially perisex) that have rancid attitudes, too. <- EXCEPT… I didn’t include that in the original post.
And I thought about it. And I read the feedback. And I thought, “Why is my first instinct to write about this particular subset? A subset of cis intersex people?” Maybe it’s because that’s who I know. Maybe because their hypocrisy stings especially hard. But then, I should have ranted more at TERFs since I (nonconsensually on my end) know them, too. Or the subset of trans people, like I just said in the last paragraph. Plenty of hypocrisy there.
Are there assholes everywhere? Yeah. Sure. But right now, I could have had my rant without this, or if I really wanted to, I could have ranted about a subset in a group I belong to.
I came in swinging. I burst into the room angry and hurt, but what matters is that I ended up hitting vulnerable people. I ended up hitting people I didn’t mean to. I didn’t need to write something that could be read way too easily as “all these people are bad because I think they have privilege in some way!!!” I know what it’s like to be on the receiving end of rancid attitudes like that. I didn’t need to make others feel the same way.
And I need to reiterate that this isn’t an issue of “other people not understanding,” but rather “yeah maybe some people can understand what I meant, but it is unclear and it’s my responsibility to be as clear as possible especially around a topic where people’s bodies and existence are at stake.”
In ranting about assholes, I became the asshole.
And I realize I shouldn’t have started swinging in the first place.
I’m very sorry.
(I have deleted the posts from my own account in hopes to limit the spread of their harm. I know it doesn’t make them go away completely, given that they’ve been reblogged by others. If you reblogged my post(s) telling me what a huge dick I was being, you were right.)
(And if you saw my posts before and reblogged/liked them because you think cis intersex people “don’t count” or other such bullshittery, fuck you.)

nice dichotomy, loser. does it allow for the nuanced and varied reality of human experience ?
#no ? oh ok#got it#well then i assume you understand it to be a simplistic theoretical framework that cant reasonably be applied to real pe-- no ? ur gonna ..#... apply it to people indiscriminately by flattening nuance and erasing context to fit them into binary categories so that u can make ...#...sweeping assertions without having to worry about silly things like 'nuance' or 'context' or 'relativity'? oh ok got it.#ohhhhh. and if they tell u their actual experience is different because the categories u made dont account for nuance then theyre lying....#got it. of course. makes complete sense !#this will certainly work out great and under no circumstances largely harm people within marginalised demographics !#this is because according to my little binary here they are not marginalised :) and if they challenge this i will accuse them ...#..of perpetuating the same form of bigotry they claim to be affected by :)#''what is this about ?'' this is about literally everything.#technically i wrote it about intersexism and also disability benefits but. its about everything.#ceci says stuff

Being both nonbinary and intersex and ppl saying “do your cis then” like- NO!!
nonbinary isn’t the same thing as being intersex and don’t erase my trans-ness like that
intersex is my bio sex, nonbinary is my gender identity. Being intersex and nonbinary isn’t the same as being cis, stop trying to erase my trans identity
(none of this is directed at this blog, just venting)
People are so awful about intersexuality, and a lot of them turn hostile when intersex people try to explain things. I’m not intersex but I still notice it, so I can’t imagine how rough it must be. I hope you find some more spaces that aren’t the worst, anon
#I’ve also seen it come from trans spaces a lot#having your own community erase you is horrible#trans#nonbinary#intersex#intersexism#ask#vent

But yeah yall if you have time and are a US citizen or someone abroad who wants to help please save files from federal .gov related websites that involve lgbtq+ health, intersex health, women’s rights/health, reproductive health, DEI, climate change, and information about domestic violence.
The library of Alexandria is still burning but we can help by saving resources we come across locally and amassing things from the internet archive to put in with other resources. We can help save a lot of scientists data and other records of our existence. The time is now.

I relatively rarely get misgendered by cis dyadic people, especially ones that claim to be allies. Ive almost never been able to talk a dyadic trans person into respecting my identity. This is fucked up
