Ranking the Ace Attorney main cast on whether or not I think they'd be a narc

I was making a more coherent, serious post about the different approaches to justice each of the characters have and how that is shaped by their backstory... and then I realized a funnier question is what they would do if they saw you eating a weed brownie so I made this post instead

Phoenix: In the trilogy era, yes. He trusts people, but believes that trust has to be built on pursuing justice and always accepting the harsh reality. He'd be sad about it, but a narc nonetheless. In his Beanix era he's making his money through "totally legal gambling" and on the hunt for questionably legal evidence so I have no doubt in my mind there's a pot farm under the WAA for supplemental income. He gives up his narc ways and for that I salute him

Apollo: If I were to pick a single member of this cast who is NOT invited to the rotation it would be him. He had zero hesitation throwing Kristoph to the wolves after working for him for years so I know he has absolutely zero qualms about ratting out his friends or coworkers. Loyalty means nothing in the eyes of justice and it means nothing to him. He's a narc.

Athena: She's gonna lecture you and look all sad about it, but she's no snitch. She's been through the rounds with Simon so she gets it. Having to know you hurt her feelings is enough of a punishment in her eyes

Edgeworth: He's not a narc but he IS obsessed with being right, so if you don't immediately fess up with exactly what you're doing he's going to send your stoned ass to the chess dimension and honestly I think that's worse

Franziska: Unfortunately she is a cop. Narc.

Godot: Diego-era yeah he's a narc, but after the coma? I feel like he has better things to worry about, he would just ignore you. He has some soul searching to do and some grief complexes to unlearn he doesn't have the time to be a lil snitch. Post prison I think he's stoned somewhere in Kurain and chillaxing, as is his right

Klavier: Don't let his rockstar attitude fool you he's a narc and extremely annoying about it. The gavinners tour bus is dry as hell and it's all Klavier's fault. Daryan offers him a line and he gets all uppity and says "the only LINE i want you doing is the third line in the prechorus, you keep messing up the syncopation" and that's the end of that discussion

Simon: He's been in prison so he knows what's up. Not a narc. Might glare at you until you share though

Nahyuta: He's a narc and will lecture you so long about it you're tempted to turn yourself in to get out of earshot. He also never forgets and never forgives. Datz is trying to reform him but it isn't going well

Sebastian: Yes, but I think the idea of him having to turn in someone for it would make him cry so they end up comforting him instead. Kay thinks he needs to try a weed brownie

Maya: I want you to look at me and tell me she doesn't smoke weed. Not a narc

Pearl: I think if she found out that her big sister figure smoked weed she would have a heart attack. Def a narc

Trucy: I can say with absolute certainty that if you really wanted weed she could find you a dealer faster than anyone in the cast. Trucy is a magician and has grown up around a variety of people involved with some seedier institutions, she knows better than to snitch. Has not been and will never be a narc

Kay: Will help you shoplift. Not a narc

Gumshoe: A narc on principle, but would feel really bad about it and would probably let you off with a warning if you started crying or acting upset because I think he's a softie. He's not unreasonable

Ema: If you think she has even the tiniest sliver of respect for cops you're lying to yourself. Not a narc and will actively help you evade police out of principle. A homie, honestly

Fulbright: Not only is he a narc but he definitely runs the DARE program at the local highschool and is printed on half the posters they put up in the precinct. I'm also like 80% sure he doesn't actually know how weed works

I figured I would make a character guide for anyone new to the boat throuple show (AKA Doctor Odyssey) or people who are thinking about watching.

remus knows her discography by heart. he was originally a little insecure to sing the whole time, but he can’t help but sing along when you look so cute dancing and screaming the words to each song. he probably would’ve been the one to buy tickets after you came to terms with your chances of getting them being so slim, so when he surprised you with them you were over the moon. he would’ve gotten you two lower bowl seats so you would be really close but also able to see every single visual. he also would’ve offered to stand and wait in the merch line during the openers and before the concert started so you could have fun and watch them and have a cute t-shirt to take home.

james “swiftie” potter would be going absolutely feral. he would’ve gotten floor seats that were at least in the first ten rows so he could feel everything. he would’ve made a huge ordeal about surprising you with the tickets. i just know he would take you out to a fancy brunch before you guys got ready for the concert. he would probably want you two to go as miss americana and the heartbreak prince and people would definitely use your pictures as inspo for their shows. i also think he’d be the type to propose during lover or love story if you were at that point in the relationship. he would’ve been all cute about it too and told everyone around you so they could film and take pictures for you guys during the moment. he would also make a show of carrying you back to your car after the concert, even if your feet didn’t hurt that bad from the extremely uncomfortable shoes you inevitably would wear.

oh, sirius. i feel like he’s a total music snob and was really only going originally because you were so excited about it. but then he gets to the concert and he’s awestruck. he would’ve gone insane during the beat drop in don’t blame me but also prob would’ve teared up during my tears ricochet. he would’ve loved every moment of it and would immediately regret not learning all her songs before the concert. i think he’d be so obsessed that the minute he got home he would’ve gone online and bought you two more tickets for either the second night in your city or the next closest show. he’d also probably make you explain all the lore and stories behind everything on the way home. you just know that next time, he will be so prepared he will outshine every other swiftie boyfriend in the crowd. he’s also a rep girly.

lily is a swiftie through and through. there’s not doubt in my mind that she’s not an evermore and lover girly. she would’ve fought hard for those tickets and she would be so proud when she surprised you with them. you and her would spend so much time picking out the perfect themed outfits for the night and would definitely end up in a few of those “my fav outfits i saw at the era’s tour!” videos. she definitely has a note in her notes app where she keeps track of all the surprise songs and which ones she wants (she was heartbroken after dbatc and clean were taken in the same night, but she also knows that there’s not a single song that she’d be disappointed in getting). it honestly doesn’t matter where your seats are because no matter what you two will be having so much fun it won’t even matter in the end.

regulus, unlike sirius, actually prepared for the concert. he was definitely doing his research before hand. he was never a big taylor swift fan before, but when he saw your eyes light up when you told him you got tickets, he knew he had to be ready. he spent months listening to each album one by one, making playlists, attempting to learn words, and maybe even looking into the meaning behind the songs. he may get a little too caught up in connecting each song to one of her relationships and prob would wear and “i <3 T. S.” shirt to the concert. like james, he would’ve offered to carry you out of the arena, but unlike james, he would’ve listened to you saying no and would’ve been content simply holding your shoes in one hand and your hand in the other.

I read through all of the messages and discussed a lot with a few mutuals. I also recommend looking through the comments and reblogs in the notes of each message. There are so many great ideas flowing. Here are my cliff notes of the 🎃 messages:

But I am really torn on this one.

Message 8: This one ties it together for me about the MH situation. Taylor is not going to let Karlie be the public bad guy again. This time it will be Taylor taking the reputational beating.

Conclusion: I think that Taylor has a plan here. This was not a last minute pivot. She knows how bad he is for her reputation. She told us from the start that there would be mayhem in May. I keep hearing that he goes back on tour in June, so hopefully this is a short-term (one month) glitch, and then she is able to clean up this mess. We are halfway through May.

Taylor swift and MSR a chance encounter

Five years, almost 6, ago their lives took a big turn and now in 2024 the unremarkable house is filled with memorabilia of a curious and inquisitive little girl, ice blue piercing eyes, cute nose and freckles, slightly curly strawberry blonde locks of hair, the apple of the eye of her father. Lily is the perfect blend of her parents, sporty and curious as Mulder and the need of know the reason for everything through experiment, learning by doing says Scully, and her little cute stare from Scully.

If someone had told Scully that at her 62 years old of life, she will be raising an adventurous and smart little girl, her and Mulder little girl. And much less that said girl will be obsessed with this blonde singer that Mulder never heard of it in his life, Scully did know little about her and truly stands for a feminist making her way in a man dominated industry as music at such a young age, so here she and Mulder are in a concert of Taylor Swift, heaven knows how her little Lily knows almost 4 hours of songs and sing them with all her little lungs have. Scully favorite song is The Man because well she lived that. Mulder likes Lover and always tease Scully that this is their new song and Lily love it completely.

Few months back when Taylor announced the dates for her Eras Tour Lily make him know she wanted to go, she kept singing the young woman song’s endlessly with the tune that she took from her mother, Mulder tried as crazy to get tickets for his little girl but everything was sold out and it was crazy, he and scully talked about the phenomena this Girl is, Scully compared her to the beetles back in the sixties or Stevie Knicks in the 70’s, and Mulder couldn’t disagree with that; Taylor Swift was named the most influential person in the country and with reason. Truthfully he can relate some songs to his and scully love story since their partnership, and others remind him of some exes.

When the new album of Taylor was announced and new dates to the tour added Mulder promised Scully that he will do anything to take Lily to see her and since this is a special occasion, because his little girl deserves it, he didn’t stop to think about the money he would spent so that’s how they ended here in Paris, he convinced Scully with the promise of taking her to a romantic tour around the city, so with Scully please and Lily happy to see her idol they all arrived.

Scully was a fan too but she wouldn’t call herself a swiftie but truth be told Lily had her and Mulder hearing 24/7 to Taylor so they know the songs by now.

Mulder likes to theorize that the effect of this is worth a X File investigation and Scully rebut his theory with the fact that this Girl writes brilliantly, she’s relatable speaking of feelings and emotions; she’s also a genius of entertainment, knows her fans and gives them what they want and more, she doesn’t disappoint. Lily likes to argue with Dad about his lack of sense about music and she finds it funny that he struggles with Spotify, the five year old manage it really well much to the dismay of her parents.

Since they arrived three hours earlier because he will be dammed if they are late to the concert, Scully made a cute outfit for Lily full of rhinestones and colorful, Lily wanted to be dressed as Midnights Era because she loves stars and planets and aliens, though she doesn’t understand much of the songs but she love the music.

Mulder help Lily back home making friendship bracelets to giveaway, she likes to see people happy, they make cute ones with space themed and obviously about the songs and the albums, the little girl read well for her age but Mulder still has to help her spell to form the bracelets.

At the line Scully buys merch for lily and herself, she bought a red cowboy hat full of sparkling glitter; Lily is so excited she can’t stopped singing, dancing and making a show, she’s adorable. Aside from a couple of people confused Lily as their granddaughter instead of their daughter but they are used to it by now, it’s no secret that Mulder is 65 and Scully 62, but age is just a number.

Mulder got good tickets in the front area, Scully is trying her best to not look at their bank account but is getting more difficult.

Lily is having the time of her life exchanging her cute bracelets and she said to her parents like this is Barbie land like in Barbie movie, everyone is nice and with amazing clothes and happy. Several girls older than Lily and young adults girls give her bracelets until her arms were full of them, she really couldn’t be happier, she is a very extrovert emotional little girl, she’s far from awkward like her old man.

The show starts and Mulder smiles at the sight of his Wife and their daughter singing with all their lungs a song called Cruel Summer, he believes is from the lover Era (one of Lily favorite but it didn’t have stars like midnight so she didn’t want her costume of that Album)

When the Red Era started Lily got excited because she knows Taylor always gives away her hat and since they were upfront she really really really wanted her hat so Mulder put her in his shoulders and the little girl screamed her lungs out singing the song and she got spotted by Taylor so the Idol make the little girl almost faint when she put the hat on her little head the hat too big, Lily said thank you and cry.

Mulder personally likes more Reputation and Scully Folklore and TTPD.

The surprise came when at the last Era or Album he really doesn’t know the difference if there’s any, a big space ship appeared on the screen making the illusion of Taylor being abducted by aliens something that he nor Scully expected at all, Lily has heard tales of the time of her parents work as FBI Agents and Mulder make sure she believes in creatures and folklore thought Scully always reminds her that she needs proves to say something is real.

At this point Lily start crying because she thinks taylor is been taken by bad aliens so Scully lift her and start explaining that is okay is just a show and the spaceship is a picture, mommy explains that is an illusion and illusions are used to create experiences and a vibe, Lily calmed down eventually and keep singing. Scully threw Mulder a look for getting ideas in Lily’s mind that could upset her like right now.

The concert Ended with both parents exhausted but with a happy girl, Mulder was carrying Lily because as soon as the concert ended she started yawning finally falling asleep in her daddy embraced, Scully was carrying the bag of what they bought and what lily exchanged, the hat that taylor gave her was still in the girl head.

Man it's literally embarrassing how Taylor Swifts PR tries to manipulate and convince everyone she's bigger than Michael Jackson or the Beatles. Like given the narcissistic vibes this woman gives me she probably enjoys the comparsions and wants to be seen as bigger. But if you really look into it. It's bullshit.

Like her having 3 number one albums or something this year. Yeah she also released 3 albums. Not saying it's not impressive. But Mj did like one album every 5 year. He had admitted countless of times that he is a high perfectonist and doesn't get the product out until it was perfect. Why else does he have tje highest selling album (Thriller) and second highest selling album by a solo artist ( Bad). He has 5 out of 6 albums to sell over 20M.

He also wrote like 120 songs per album. So if he wanted to get like 3 or more number one albums he easily could have. But if you know a little bit how he was you would know that being just good wasn't good enough for him. With that man everything had to be perfect. That's not something I think just the fans it's knowledge of the general public in general.

Second the 1 billion Tour gross. Yeah impressive. But what about her attendance. MJs Tickets were cheap. Even for todays Standards. 16 Dollars back then or 20 Dollars and he also gave some of them away for free.

What matters actually is attendance. But ofc they never want to talk about that. MJ had a 12.4M or 13M attendance in a span of 3 solo tours. Taylor Swift has 9.7M in the span of 5 tours excluding the Eras Tour. So probably will have a higher attendance in total eventually but what he could done with 3 tours ( 2 of them not even touring in the US) she had to do with 6 tours.

And it MJ didn't Tour in the US during his History Tour where he pulled 4.5M attendance.

Second is that bullshit Eras suprassing This is it. First This is it which most normal people know can't even be a concert tour because he died before doing any show. Second Eras only grossed more in the US. Globally he is far ahead.

He has a top ten hit during 5 different DECADES! 6 if you included the Jackson 5.

And some said that she sells 1M albums (not specifically said which ones) per week. Which is very hard to believe. Couldn't find any data on that. The only thing I have that she sold like 13 or 14M in this year. MJs Thriller ( one album) sold like 1M for a week for a year. Bad sold 7M in the first week.

Like nobody cares how much money she makes or how many albums she gets to chart on billboard during the streaming era. It just shows how money hungry and chart obsessed she is.

And they still think they can speak on him. I saw some mjfans on twitter putting swifties in place as well as arianators rihanna fans and other fandoms for various reasons.

Like Rihanna is the best selling female recording artist in the 21th century. Rihanna made like 8 studio albums and Taylor Swift 10 so far. On top of that Rihannas last album came out in 2016.

But the only thing Swifties hear is Billionaire 1billion gross, economy. (Do they seriously think MJ never had an influence on the economy? The guy who saved MTV from bankruptcy? They guy who filmed They don't care about us in Brazil to showcase the poverty and had had a huge influence into making it a better place?) What has Taylor Swift done with her suppossed influence? Huh. Why does he have statues around the world and got crowned King somewhere in Africa. Taylor Swift ain't doing that. The only thing she does is ruining the planet with her carbon emissions of her private jet and stay silent on a literal genocide. Or weaponizing the word feminism ( I want to read a thesis how this woman puts feminism back instead of forward. Publicity stunt or not, Swift can have a sleazeball summer if she damn well pleases.

ON THE FINAL night of Taylor Swift’s MetLife shows this weekend, 80,000 Swifties screamed in the swamps of New Jersey for over three hours. They wore outfits from every era — tinsel fringe dresses, serpent arm cuffs, and heart-shaped sunglasses. I saw countless faces in cowboy hats similar to the emoji — only these cowboys were sobbing uncontrollably while eating foot-long hotdogs. And the bracelets! They were all wearing beaded bracelets coded in Swiftian lyrics, trading them in the parking lot like Deadheads swapping grilled cheeses. (Take my advice: do not try to pay for the bracelets. They will look at you like you’re from outer space.) 

It’s hard to believe that while this magical Eras tour is happening — and while Swift is somehow reaching previously-unimaginable heights of popularity, surpassing even the ludicrous highs of 2015 — she is also experiencing a backlash from some corners of the Swiftie community over her supposed new boyfriend, the 1975’s Matt Healy.

He explained that the whole thing “doesn’t actually matter” and that the backlash he received was merely virtue signaling: “It’s just people going, ‘Oh, there’s a bad thing over there, let me get as close to it as possible so you can see how good I am,’” he said. “And I kind of want them to do that, because they’re demonstrating something so base level.”

I’m not here to answer that, but I am here to tell you that none of it is Taylor’s problem. For the last 17 years, we’ve held this woman responsible for the actions of men she chooses to spend time with, and it’s time to stop. It would be fair to criticize her for walking out of Electric Lady with the ghost of Pol Pot or wondering why her dad and Matt Lauer are grooving out to her performance of “22.” But this is just a hot sleazeball who wants Oasis back together (I don’t know about you, but I’ve dated a lot of guys who fit that description), and it’s up to Taylor to spend her time as she pleases.

the eras tour is ending tonight and i wanted to say something about it. please don’t think i am one of those chronically online/celebrity obsessed people, i’m just a really sentimental girl who loves music, and i wanted to share how much this means to me.

i started to like taylor on a random friday in 2017. my dad knew i how much i liked music so he asked a friend (who had a music school) to give me singing lessons. this teacher knew how much i hated english songs (i didn’t understand anything at the time), but she made me sing back to december since it was kind of on my vocal range and was a cute song for a 11/12 years old. i liked this song so much that i started to sing it every time someone asked me to give a performance during family functions, and one day someone told me “maybe you should try to listen some of her music, if you like the song so much” and my journey begun. i remember being 12 years old and watching the you belong with me mv like every day on my computer, but my favorite songs were we are never getting back together and look what you made me do. as an italian tween who didn’t understand a single word in english, i just liked the music and the mv, they were literally so fun to watch!!

then in 2028 my parents gave me my first phone, and the first thing i did (after changing my wallpaper into a photo of my harry potter house, ofc) was install spotify and really start listening to taylor swift. one night i was traveling on a bus for a school trip, and i was listening to fearless with my headphones, but the music was so loud that the next day i heard people talking about this strange music on the bus.

when i started high school lover had just came up, and i became old enough to understand that i could just search for the translation of the songs (plus i was getting better in english anyway!); that album helped me so much since everyone in my new school kept pushing me for a coming out. they were right, but at the time i was so confused about it.

i had a lot of dark moments in my life, and i could alway rely on music for support. like when i fell in love with my amazing girlfriend in the worst moment of my life, feeling so alone and literally clinically depressed (lol), and reputation became my favorite album, i could really connect with it. that’s why my favorite song it’s call it what you want (and dress, but that’s a completely different story)!

when taylor released the europe dates for the eras tour i couldn’t get tickets, but i thought about all the times my dad told me he found last minute tickets at concerts/soccer matches and i convinced my gf to go with me to milan ( a 4hours train ride.)

idk how but we found 2 tickets DURING APPLAUSE, they were a little bit pricey but in one year we made some money just for the concert so we made it.

going to the eras was the best experience of my life, dancing to lover with my girlfriend, the love of my life, listening to my favorite childhood songs, THE REPUTATION SET, everything, you don’t know how much it meant to me. knowing that it’s over breaks my heart, and i know it’s stupid because it’s a tour, but idk, i feel like it helped me so much during this year (and i had a lot of sick family members, my sister almost died, plus my declining mental health).

Not trying to be rude but I genuinely have to ask why some people in the fandom think Taylor’s about to “burn it down” or burn her fans down or whatever it is. They’ve been saying it for months and if anything Taylor just leans more into what her fans expect of her in this WAG era. I don’t see Taylor burning anything down for a long time if ever, when her fans are making her so much money (*cough* Miss Billionaire). I sometimes feel there’s a disconnect here of what people what/think Taylor is about to do and the actual reality of it. The idea of burning it down has been around at least since Midnights with all the fire imagery & I absolutely thought that was gonna happen…..but I didn’t ever think about the logistics of it before.

i completely understand celebs in general taking private jets; taylor in particular has a huge fan base (part of which is pretty crazy) so for security reasons of course private is better?

what i have a problem with is what she’s using those jets for: a decent amount of her flights seemed to be to watch travis kelce’s matches, is that really needed? like i get being in the honeymoon stage (i don’t really i’m single af lmao) but come onnnn, how excessive is that?!

especially if you’re going on a huge-ass tour that is guaranteed to have huge carbon emissions, why would you want to add on to that? not only is it being incredibly careless for the environment, but it’s also just poor from a pr pov, which is shown through the fact that she has gotten backlash for it

the environment is a huge issue that affects ALL OF US, and i’m sure it’s pretty tiring for people (myself included) to be consciously taking actions to be more sustainable while seeing all these people doing things seemingly just because they can with little regard for the general impact they will have.

i have multiple reasons for disliking taylor, but this isn’t really a huge one, as i can understand the perspective she may have. regardless, it’s still a valid criticism to have in my eyes, and it isn’t (and shouldn’t be) limited to her.

yes i hard agree, too many swifties are invasive and obsessive to the point of forgetting taylor swift is a human being who deserve private affairs and has a life outside of her career, hence my huge advocacy against her switching transportation methods for the tour or anywhere long distance. but even outside of the tour, like her relationship with travis, i don’t think it’s strange that she’s flying out to go to his events all the time. i mean, to me, it’s not really a “honeymoon phase” or excessive at all. wouldn’t you want to be there for your partner at all their important events if you had the time and money? really, i think it’s just them maintaining and being in a relationship by supporting each other.

though i understand it’s not just about her going to see travis, obviously. from a surface level, of course it can seem rather reckless and selfish of her to be flying so often especially combined with the eras tour but here’s my argument:

look up “taylor swift carbon credits”. taylor/her team has bought twice the amount of carbon credits to offset the emissions created by the transportation of the eras tour. and with how often she moves cities, i would think that more than makes up for the trips she makes to see travis. i wouldn’t say she’s unaware of her stake in the environment at all and even in the midst of her career high at the moment, she’s doing much more than the bare minimum to make up for the cost to the environment, which many celebrities don’t even do. it’s why i’m always amazed/appalled at how the spotlight for celebrity carbon emissions is always on taylor swift when she’s not even in the top 30 in carbon emissions from 2023. now i don’t know if taylor antis know of this or if they just ignore it but if only people put more research into these things, their perspective might change.

now i’m not saying taylor is perfect, not by a long shot, no one is. and i’m not trying to convince you to like taylor! it’s completely fine to not like her for any number of reasons, like you just don’t like her music or her personality. she’s literally a billionaire, which i strongly agree that no one person should ever have that much money (though she donates money to every city’s food shelters she performs in, enough to buy a year’s worth of supply so it’s not like she doesn’t give it away) there’s a various amount of different valid criticisms to make against taylor but at the end of the day, my take is if you’re going to criticize her, there’s pretty much no valid reason to dig at her for using a private jet when she buys carbon offsets, hence why i made these posts (though i know you said it’s a smaller issue to you, but it’s the whole topic nonetheless)

Seeing the crowd at the theater for the Eras Tour Film has made me think a lot about our ability to live quietly and experience quietly and love quietly. To sit back and take things in. To let it wash over us.

An abhorrent amount of people were filming themselves watch the movie with the flash on! Like a) when are you going to watch a video of you half dancing in your seat at a movie theater and b) there are other people trying to enjoy the movie and you’re ruining it for them because of your disregard for how your actions disrupt others! And people were trying to start chants and claps and kept screaming “We love you Taylor!” over the songs. Like no, you don’t love her because you’re completely ignoring the beauty of this amazing artistic masterpiece she’s put together. You care more about your own voices being heard than hearing hers (and she’s not even in the theater to hear you!). People are so obsessed with becoming viral and being noticed and being the one who started x/y/z trend that they’ve completely lost the ability to bear witness to what’s going on around them.

Of course, I literally dream about having the opportunity to meet Taylor. But I wouldn’t say outrageous things to her to try to get a reaction out of her. I wouldn’t film her. I wouldn’t ask her an invasive question. I’d want to be the most generic and forgettable fan ever. I’d want to hold her hands and look her in the eyes and thank her for this sacred world she’s created. I’d want to just witness the presence of such a magical human being.

Maybe I’m being jaded and superior, but I really feels like there’s a fundamental difference between those who just want the clout of being a “fan” because it’s trendy and those with a deep admiration for Taylor’s artistry and humanity.

I don’t know if I can really pinpoint the childish vibes, just the way he tends to avoid talking about serious topics (in person/interviews) and turns to humor (which isn’t totally a bad thing, he likes to keep the vibes light which I get and it’s an attractive trait) but idk his team/a lot of the people he keeps around him are……… not good people lol

He’s very big on keeping the same circle/bringing people with him up on his success journey, big on loyalty- but like… sometimes it’s good to move on from people in your life. Especially when some of those people are just bad. KY Engineering (one of his close producers) and Nemo his creative advisor have previously stated horrible misogynistic takes on Black women several times, and their attitude towards women in general are…………….. yeah

My Eras Tour Concert experience!! (7/28/23)

Let's start at the beginning! Immediately after we got through the gates, people approached my friend and I about trading bracelets! (We also gave bracelets to the parking lot attendants!!) The energy was so fun! On our walk from the parking lot, and the entire time we were in the stadium, I was complimenting people's outfits. Everyone looked gorgeous!!! I have never seen so much glitter and sequins!!! It was so cute!! Btw the first bracelet that someone chose to take from me was "Three Sad Virgins" lol.

We walked around the stadium for like an hour. We talked to quite a few people, and traded several bracelets. We met up with one of my dad's former co-workers too! She was super sweet, and I gave her a bracelet. We went to the Capital One booth to do the Taylor elevator video thing, and it turned out really cute!! It's posted on my Instagram if any mutuals want to see. Since we were walking around and stuff, we ended up not watching the openers. It wasn't a horrible loss for us, because none of us were familiar with their music.

We were shocked when we found our seats. Our view was incredible!! We were directly in front of the stage, and we were in the first row of our area. No one was in front of us. We literally could've sat through the whole thing and still would've had a perfect view. (That being said I stood the whole time lol.) I got so excited when I heard Misery Business and Immortals play btw!! I love that Taylor has Paramore and Fall Out Boy in her pre-show playlist! Also I hadn't seen the clock countdown before. The crowd energy was insane, and I was legit about to cry before she even came on stage.

I didn't cry when she came onto the stage, but I did scream a lot lol. As expected, it was super fun to sing along to Miss Americana and YNTCD. Also as expected, my dad sang along to YNTCD! He recorded lots of stuff for me throughout the concert too. Being able to yell "shade never made anybody less gay" was a great experience btw. I started crying during Lover, and I cried again during The Archer. I really wasn't sure which songs would make me cry, but I've got to say I didn't expect Lover lol.

Onto the Fearless era! That was my first time hearing the song Fearless! She didn't play it at my reputation tour concert. It was so much fun!!! I was jumping around and dancing through the whole era. I saw my dad singing along to YBWM! As excited as I was myself, I was also happy that my dad got to hear songs he was familiar with this time. I will always cherish the memory of doing heart hands with Taylor + everyone in the stadium.

You guys have no clue how loudly I screamed when I saw Haim come onto stage in their Bejeweled dresses!! I'm so obsessed with them! Hearing no body, no crime live was incredible. What surprised me most about this era was the fact that I sobbed through marjorie. (Very intense, ugly crying.) That song does make me cry often, but I failed to consider how hard it would hit live given I recently lost one of my grandmas. The song is a beautiful tribute, and I love that Taylor gets to honor her grandmother in such a special way. My dad hugged me through most of the song while I cried. champagne problems was exactly as cool live as I expected. The crowd energy was WILD!! I will always love the intensity in Taylor's eyes when she drops the f-bomb line lol. tolerate it live was also incredible. One of my favorite songs forever and ever!! Btw we cheered for over 3 and a half minutes after champagne problems. (That's a whole minute longer than night 2.)

I have no words for how hot reputation Taylor is. I ascended watching her. I can't believe I essentially got to see a second reputation era. I have the least to say here because I had already heard the songs from this era live, but I had so much fun dancing around and I am just so so gay.

Now for Speak Now!! I had entirely avoided spoilers of what the stage looked like for this era. I was in awe of how beautiful it was! I am so happy to have heard Enchanted live, and the fireworks were perfect!! (The fireworks were not part of the show, but still very cool. Levi Stadium is across a parking lot from Great America, so we experienced the amusement park's firework display during Speak Now and Red.) I cried again during Long Live! I thought I'd be safe since I heard it during the reputation era, but my love for Taylor got to me lol. I love her so much, and I am so glad she gets to be celebrated each weekend.

The transition into the Red era was fun! I hadn't seen anything about it online, so it was totally new to me. This is the era that I could tell my dad had the most fun in. He sang along to 3/4 songs. He didn't know the words to All Too Well, but he did record the entire song for me!! Also he sang the correct words to Trouble lol. This era was so fun to dance around during. I hadn't heard any songs from this era live previously, and my dad and I fueled each other's hype!

God the folklore era was amazing. I had so much fun screaming along to betty!! It's been one of my favorites since the album came out. My inner 2020 self was LIVING!! My jaw locked during illicit affairs, which really sucked, but beyond that it was a wonderful time during this era!! The stage setup was gorgeous!!!!!

Oh. My. God. The 1989 era!!!!!!!!! So damn fun!!! I was jumping around and dancing the whole time!!!! I don't have the words, but it was EVERYTHING!!!!! I was so hyped and also knew we were right around the corner from the surprise songs!!

The surprise songs were right where you left me and Castles Crumbling!! You guys don't understand how insane my friend and I went. We knew Aaron Dessner was at the show, and we jokingly were like "haha what if we get rwylm or peace". We had also been talking about those songs in the car prior to knowing Aaron was there, and my friend said that rwylm was one of her biggest hopes. (It was in my top 10 too!) So imagine how excited we were when Taylor brought Aaron on stage and the song started. We looked at each other, screamed, and hugged. It was such a good moment. Then after, we just had no clue what to expect from the next song. Taylor started playing the piano, and the crowd went silent. I screamed so loudly it hurt my throat when she sang the first line of Castles Crumbling. I had been intentionally avoiding speaking my surprise song hopes out loud, because I was scared of like jinxing it or something. It was everything to me to hear that song. I was completely not expecting it, but Taylor knew I'd go crazy for a Speak Now TV vault song and she delivered!!!! Those song choices were perfect. It was fun going on Twitter after the show and seeing all of the memes from people that weren't there. Usually I'm right there with them and Like everything, but I got to be like "yeah sorry I was actually there" lol. Btw now that the second night has happened, I'd just like to confirm that we won lol.

Last but not least, the Midnights era!!! So cool! Just so so cool! I made my dad record Vigilante Sh*t, because I was losing my goddamn mind. That was the sexiest thing I've seen in my life. Holy wow. No thoughts just gay. I was sad because I knew we were at the end of the show, but I was having too much fun to really think about it. Taylor is such a force. Her care for her fans is so evident, and I'm so grateful she broke curfew to be with us. My love for her is infinite, and I'm in awe that I got to see my favorite person irl for a second time.

Btw I got my favorite outfits for most of the eras, and I still can't get over that. I will never stop talking about this concert!!!! My dad is going to show me his videos on the TV today, and I'm looking forward to reliving everything!! Shoutout to the #1 Swiftie dad for taking so many photos and videos! I didn't take out my phone during the concert because he was totally on top of it all. He let me live in the moment, and I'm very appreciative. Also I know he recorded me a couple times, so I'm curious to see that footage lol.

My main historical blorbo is Tadeusz Kościuszko (1746-1817), then there's king Jan III Sobieski (1629-1696), a secondary blorbo, but I treat him kinda like a silly uncle (and it started from a joke). I'm also a casual Anna Pustowójtówna (1838-1881) enjoyer, so it's all over the place when it comes to the eras they come from. I must add, I don't idolise them, especially the first two, they had flaws. When it comes to Kościuszko I'm absolutely obsessed and read about him every day. It started from another friend who was researching him, and I got interested too. I feel like some publications portray him as an absolute angel with no flaws, which, like, no, not really, but nobody is flawless. I just kinda vibe with the guy, bro was anti-racist, anti-monarchy and generally tried to help people in need, so Jewish people, peasants, Black people, women etc. Also he liked to draw (and I like to draw too), was very socially awkward and then had what seemed like a charming villain era after getting emotionally hurt for a millionth time (and then got awkward again). The problem with him is, we know a lot, but not everything. There's a lot of speculating. Bro had some weak moments, but I feel like I wouldn't do 1/10 of what he did if I was as traumatised and paranoid as he often was. He seemed like a very delicate person actually.

When it comes to the king guy, it started from a painting in the museum I work in. Bro had a typical nobleman haircut (something like an undercut but baroque era) and a moustache, like most Polish men at the time. During a museum tour I called him an "uncle looking guy". Then my coworkers decided to call me "uwuja" (uwu uncle) and that's how it started. Also he probably made a bouquet of potato flowers for his wive.

The third blorbo is a fucking badass and I love her. She used a nickname "Michał Smok'' (Michael Dragon) to fight with the soldiers during the 1863 January Uprising in occupied Poland. Girl was a beast and I admire her greatly.
