Misty will probably end up betraying Natalie this season if Shauna truly is the Antler Queen BUT I realized Misty could be playing both sides and secretly sneaking off to bring Nat things she needs when she has to start hiding (underground) from Shauna/Shauna’s clan and that’s what Sammi meant in that interview when she mentioned “the things they will do for each other”

i always think about how smart it is for nat to have her roots grow out in the wilderness. when you first meet her pre crash, she’s fully blonde, almost like an entirely different person from the person who shot her dad and wears his hair and is always scared that she’ll get hurt again. but as she faces the wilderness, she can’t hide from it anymore. this is who she is at her core and in the wilderness, she can’t escape it, can’t escape herself. there’s nothing to keep herself away from the horror of her own self, she just has to keep shedding her facade until only her roots remain.

and by the time they get back, she’s accepted it. the wilderness chose. this is who she is.
