I built a miniature Va11 Hall-A Bar inside of my PC!!
Va11 Hall-A PC Parts & Build list
PC:
CPU : Intel I9 14900k
GPU: Intel Arc A770 16gb
Ram: Corsair Dominator 64gb 5600
Mobo: Maxsun Terminator Z790 D5 wifi
Hard drives M.2: Samsung 990 pro 2tb, Samsung 970 evo plus 1tb, CT 1tb,                                 Adata 500gb
PSU: ROG Thor 850 P2
Cables: Cablemod.com custom shortened and sleeved
Water loop distro : EKWB FLT 120 reservoir + D5 pump
Water loop cpu block: ThermalTake Pacific Mx2 Ultra
Water loop radiators: Alphacool HPE 20 x 2
Water loop hardware: 15 Alphacool, 3 EKWB, 2 Alphacool soft, 2 granzon
Water loop tubes: EKWB Acrylic tube 14mm, Alphacool 13/10 soft
Air Cooling : ThermalTake Toughfan 120mm x 3  + Controller
Air Cooling : Noctua 40mm pwm server fan x 2 (non visible)
Additional RGB Control : Coolermaster controller
Case:
Lian Li PC V600, left side mount, released in 2006, I acquired it in 2015 from PC Recycle in sodo Seattle.
I had to track down a new foot, one had been missing since I acquired the case (ebay)
Mods:These are the case mods I did personally
Cut a hole for the cpu mounts in the Motherboard mount plate as this case was designed for older hardware
Cut two 120mm blowholes and added aluminum covers (Dremel)
Cut Front and rear windows into side panels (Dremel Max)
Moved PSU from vertical placement in the lower right side of the case in front of the CPU  to horizontal placement in the top left in old drive bays.
The PSU bracket had to be cut to show the OLED on the side.
Modded the side panel rail slide to accommodate the PSU, I used the original aluminum stand the psu was on, cut in half and epoxied with JB weld.
Changed and moved Power/ Reset switch to the back of the case, shortened and spliced the cable
I cut and bent my own 14mm acrylic tubes (hobby miter, heat gun).
Cut and made two way mirror for the front panel
Plastic "truss" is both functional and aesthetic. It came from a Gunpla accessory kit and has two cables passing through it and it acts as the GPU support. I could only get red and had to paint it.
Notice that some logos are missing/ covered, I dislike having a case as an advertisement. The Rog eye on the PSU is mostly covered but iykyk, most of the word "Intel" on the ARC GPU, Two of the Thermaltake logos on the fan edges, the Paint on the Thermaltake Mx2 Ultra and Maxsun terminator heatsink. (I will eventually cover the visible SSD with a heat sink, cover the fan info on the rear and work a cover for the word "dominator"). the one logo explicitly unchanged is the LianLi case badge, if I think of a perfect replacement, maybe then.
Mod I did not do:
I did NOT shorten and sleeve my own cables, I used cable-mod.com. I am not confident in my ability to do this.
BAR:
"Bar Tiny" Re-ment sets from Japan, 17 sets involved.
I customized the color of the bar and chairs and shortened one table for the mezzanine. The whole bar, minus barback- is on a removable 7 inch piece of black acrylic for cleaning.
Jill Stingray Nendoroid
Jils Cat, it sleeps on the GPU
Jill Stool: Jill is glued to a cute doll stool to see over the bar
Jill Accessories non-Nendoroid: cellphone, purse, coat (ebay)
Dorothy Haze Nendoroid
will be added on release.
Bar Back:I made this myself
Black acrylic sheet, and frosted acrylic rods.
Doll Light power kit: 8 Led lights, 4 incandescent lights
USB Doll light power strip
Other Bar Accessories:
Overhead Hanging farmhouse light
trash, mop, broom, pan, mop bucket,
2 blue fuzzy chairs
Miniature plants
Miniature Microphone
Mini bottle Dom Perignon, an xmas gift from my friend nemo, it's
 on the top shelf
Problems and changes:
1. ARGB, pretty pretty pain in the ass. 4 pieces of software........
2. The water loop was changed extensively as hardware came in and space limitations were discovered. The biggest change is that I originally planned to have one radiator on the front of the case, the tubes running over Jills head and to light the tubes as lighting for the bar, to do this the fan would have been in the case proper pushing the whole bar to far into the mobo, it didn't work, so the loop was moved to the top of the case and caused me to have one complex bent tube
Second, I had planned the loop to use one sideport on the distro, but space limitation moved both ports to the top causing the complex fittings setup in that corner.
3. The MOBO, sigh. This has been clearly the most challenging choice I made in this build, I really wanted it to work perfectly too, but I rolled those dice because: Aesthetic+function, the board I wanted (https://en.colorful.cn/en/home/product?mid=84&id=400d19bc-5655-49e1-b391-df00b60935ef) was to great a risk for the cost. This was a silver medal.
I generally dislike the design options I had in the Z790 series of the big board makers (I  HATE big logos), especially the full ATX, there was one M that interested me, I should have picked it . This board has potential, but the BIOS is underdeveloped and compatibility has been problematic, I had to do a tricky outdated style BIOS update right from the box, and have had to reset the cmos a couple times. It skips BIOS on general boot and though stable, it will have to be addressed eventually, it doesn't have a proper sleep because of some issue between uefi & legacy. It may end up replaced, which will require a full build teardown.
the Turbo fan built into the board doesn't seem to function
Alos, the two argb connections on the mobo dont work, or I can't get them to recognize anything, necessitating the Coolermaster controller for the PSU and Distro. it is shoved behind the distro along with a Noctua 40mm

Thanks to Khatere for sending this super-cute fairytale house for sale in Haringay, London, UK. ‘The Mushroom House’ was formerly a lodging house for the gatekeeper and staff, of the Chilts House Estate. It was built in the early 1800s has 2bds, 1ba, and asking £350,000 / $436,891k in cash.
Tumblr media
Tiny entrance foyer. There is a catch, though: The Haringay council wants the next live/work resident to operate the property as something to benefit the local community, although any business will be considered (present owner is a photographer).
Tumblr media
The adorable little home is built around a large double fireplace and has 2 floors.
Tumblr media
Here are the stairs to the bedrooms, and you can hang coats from them, too. I guess the house is so small there's not much storage.
Tumblr media
They have hooks on the fireplace, too. You really can't have a family in here.
Tumblr media
Teeny kitchen. They got a nice size fridge in here, though.
Tumblr media
I didn't see a sink, but there it is next to the fridge. Here's the other side of the fireplace. It looks original, too. It looks like they've been replacing and shoring up the beams.
Tumblr media
Here's the sink and another counter with a coffee bar.
Tumblr media
There's another door that opens to the garden.
Tumblr media
There's laundry, which is a good thing, and they have a big table, too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A curved wall leads into the primary bedroom. And there's a space for a small dresser in this nook. Storage is a bit of a problem.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The 2nd bedroom has a cute fireplace. You can tell how old the house is by the fireplace bricks.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Check out the zinc tub. I think that I would have to epoxy that wall & floor to keep it dry.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The realtor's description says that the garden has been re-wilded in the last year. I don't know if that means they deliberately let it get overgrown or it was just a nice way of saying that the owner let it go.

The Whole World Stopping, Just For You
you meet a werewolf at a craft fair. a distant prologue to goretober day 3: "ountumbered."
->contains feral and vaguely sinister behavior.
.
.
.
The box is what grabs your attention. It glints, catches the sun just right, as you’re walking by.
The vendor stands stiff and straight-backed in the shade of his tent and there are dozens of beautiful pieces all around him—rustic end tables, decorative hanging shelves, a table full of adorable, handmade birdhouses with more craftsmanship and creativity than most suburbs—but your eyes are on the box. The wood is unpainted, a warm, reddish-brown with an antique clasp, but the most remarkable part is the lid. You mistake it for a slice of geode at first because it has the same luster, brilliant blues and ingidos with a glassy shine. A speckled arch of silver makes you think of clouds or mountains against the night sky.
By now, most vendors would have started chatting you up, but this one’s completely silent. He hasn’t moved at all since you walked over or made a single sound. His hair is short but wild with his bangs hanging in his face, his eyes a striking shade caught between green and amber. He’s wearing a tank top that shows off thick, defined biceps and jagged lines of scar tissue. You have to break eye contact because his stare is just a little too intense and your gaze meanders just slightly past him, a banner stretched along the back of the stall bearing the words “Shelter Mountain Pack.”
A small sound of surprise slips out before you can stop it, something not quite a word. You’ve only met city wolves before, never a wild one. Rumors paint a dramatic picture of feral marauders who run through the woods naked with leaves and twigs stuck in their hair, but you always figured people who said that were full of shit. He looks like anybody else save the yellowed hazel of his eyes, but his complete silence and stillness unnerves you more now that you recognize it for what it is—a predatory animal spotting something of interest and watching, waiting, with bated breath.
“This is beautiful,” you tell him, your hand still on the box. You’ve been stroking the lid absently, your thumb rubbing over curves of silver.
He grunts. The sound is deep, feral and sends a shiver down your spine. You must be giving off some sign that you’re wary—could be your heartbeat, your posture, even your scent—because he covers it by clearing his throat. “That’s cherry wood,” he says. “Got that color with a coat of shellac. Lid inlay’s epoxy resin. Don’t usually work with pigments or paint, but I thought I’d try something new.”
You drift further into the tent and he turns, following you with his eyes, as you admire meticulously carved animal figurines, sturdy planters, and even more ornate boxes with intricate patterns carved into their lids and sides. You pick one up for a closer look, smoothing your fingers across patterned carvings, the leaves of a tree rendered in precise detail. “Everything in here is incredible. You make all of these yourself?” you ask.
You hear a brisk exhale. “It’s all me. Can’t get anyone else in the pack interested in woodworking.” His gaze burns into your back as you set the box down. You pick up another and your fingers brush against a circular indent in the bottom. Flipping it over, you find a stamped signature, a stylized outline of a mountain with the words “LANCE - SHELTER MOUNTAIN” inside. No last name. Is that normal? Do wild wolves not use surnames? You’re curious but you don’t want to be insensitive. Gently, you set the box back down.
There’s a sharp huff, the kind of sound a dog makes. You look back just in time to catch a slight twitch at the corner of his lips, an almost-smile. “Don’t have to be so dainty with my stuff,” he says, jamming his hands in the pockets of his ragged jeans. “You scared of getting your scent on it? It’s not a big deal, seriously. Wouldn’t be here selling to humans if I couldn’t stand the smell.”
“Oh,” you say, a little embarrassed. Lance doesn’t seem bothered, though. He gets a bit more talkative the longer you poke around his tent, more than happy to tell you about his pieces, how long they took to make, his personal favorites. Everything has a story—a whim one sunny afternoon, a bit of inspiration from a bird he saw. He shows you a paperweight shaped like a napping cat and there’s a craftsman’s warm pride in his eyes as he tells you how he carved it and sanded it down and added just a bit of darkening finish to the ears and tail. He favors nature patterns, you notice, lots of plants and animals depicted in his more decorative work.
In the end, though, you go back to the box. That starry, winter sky pattern across the top pulls you in again. You cradle it in both hands, your thumb smoothing across the resin. “Do you take card?” you ask him.
It’s like flipping a switch. All of his casual, carefree body language vanishes and he’s guarded again, frowning tightly. “No,” he says. He follows your gaze down to the card reader sitting on the table in front of him, a white touchpad cradled in a beautiful wooden dock, and lets out a long sigh. “Are you in a hurry?” he asks. “One of my packmates is around here somewhere. He knows how to work that thing.”
“There’s no rush. But if it’s easier, I can just find an ATM—”
“It’s not a big deal. He’s supposed to be back here anyway,” he insists, fishing a cheap flip phone out of his pocket. You keep browsing while he sends a slow, clumsy text, bending to look at a squat storage cabinet. The door panels are carved with simple but elegant flowing designs, floral Art Nouveau whirls and a thin, leafy border. “Are you local?” Lance asks, leaning casually against the nearest display table. “I don't recognize you.”
That would strike you as an odd comment from anyone else. This isn’t a huge city by any means but it’s not a tiny town either. You can’t fool a wolf’s nose, though. He’d know if you’d been by his stall before. “I’m just passing through,” you say. “Saw a sign for the craft fair and thought it’d be a fun detour. I still have a long drive home ahead of me.”
“Are you headed east? Through the mountains?”
“Yeah.”
He makes a softer grunt, glancing at the sky. “Gonna be dark before long,” he says. “Better not take those roads at night. You could stay with us, if you want, head out fresh at dawn. We’re only an hour or two up the mountain.”
The invitation completely blindsides you. Wild wolves don’t do things like this. They don’t tell you, even vaguely, where their packs live, and they certainly don’t invite you to waltz right in. “I’m not sure your alpha would appreciate that,” you say, laughing nervously.
Lance grins. His teeth are somewhere between yours and a dog’s with prominent canines and everything just a little too sharp. He leans in across the table and speaks in a low rumble. “Well, seeing as I am the alpha, I don’t think you have to worry about it.”
He’s close enough that you notice his scent for the first time, an earthy musk like grass and rain. You’re frozen in place when he reaches for you, holding your breath, waiting for something you can’t name. His fingers smooth across the back of your hand, nails long and a little sharp. He never breaks eye contact as he takes the box back from you and you see his nostrils flare, his pupils dilating.
“Blake,” he says, and you jump when someone brushes past you to get into the stall. You catch yourself against the table and realize you were leaning in, shifting closer to him without even realizing it. “Need you to run a card.”
The new guy is slimmer than Lance and looks much softer in comparison, wearing a cardigan sweater and fully intact jeans. His hair is longer and much neater, held in a low ponytail with his bangs combed out of his face. The color is unusual, black with uneven veins of stark white and gray, reminiscent of the streaks in a gray wolf’s fur. Lance moves aside, finding a different table further into the stall to lean against. He still hasn’t put the box down since he took it back from you, and he’s staring intently at the lid.
“Sorry for the wait,” Blake says, flashing a practiced customer service smile. “Just the keepsake box, then, or are you still browsing? Lance can be a little standoffish, but I promise he doesn’t mind you looking around.”
“I heard that,” Lance mutters.
“Just the box,” you say. Sticking your card into the reader, you add, “He’s not so bad, actually. He told me all about his work. I don’t know much about carpentry and stuff like that, but I can tell he’s really passionate.”
There’s a pause, and then Blake says, “Really?” The word doesn’t come out in a mild, smalltalk kind of tone, but with legitimate shock and disbelief. You find him staring in the same intense way Lance did when you first walked up. He turns back to Lance and they look at each other for a moment in silence.
“I invited them,” Lance says, the words slow and deliberate, “to spend the night with us.”
Blake turns back to you slowly. You get the feeling that he’s really looking at you for the first time, not as a customer but as something else. His gaze is heavy, weighted with expectation. Soft surprise morphs into realization of some kind. You feel uncomfortable beneath his scrutiny. “I don’t have to,” you assure him. “I don’t want to impose or be in the way, and I’m sure I could find somewhere to stay in town—” The card reader beeps and you reach to take your card back. Blake’s hand catches yours, his fingers closing like a snare.
“You’re more than welcome,” Blake says. His smile is broad and warm and irresistibly charming, his thumb stroking the back of your hand in soft, soothing motions. “More than welcome. It’s no trouble, really. There’s plenty of room. We’d love to have you.”
“If you’re sure,” you say, a little uneasy. Blake lets go of your hand with a sheepish smile. It doesn’t bother you that much. Wolves, no matter where they live, tend to be touchier than most people.
“Did you tell the pack?” you hear him ask, his voice lowered.
“Texted Max a little bit before you got here,” Lance murmurs. “Word’s spread by now.” He shoulders past Blake, around the tables and out of the stall. You smile, expecting him to hand you your box. He does. And when you take it, he snags your wrist and drags you into a firm embrace, burying his nose in the crook of your neck. He takes a deep breath and lets out a shuddering exhale, hot breath fanning your throat. You’re startled and a little nervous, staying perfectly still while he noses against your skin on one side and then the other. That’s a scenting thing, right? They do that to each other sometimes. Maybe he’s making sure the pack knows he invited you? That makes sense, you think.
But then he stops and pulls back far enough for you to see his face, and you’re not so sure anymore. His pupils are blown, his eyes half-lidded. His tongue darts out and you see a brief flash of a prominent canine as he licks his lips. “Well,” he says, squeezing your shoulder, “I’ll grab the truck and you can follow me up. Where’re you parked?” You look from Lance to Blake, bewildered. The fair’s still on for a few more hours. You really don’t want him going out of his way like this.
Blake seems to pick up on your worry, though, waving you off with a smile. “You’re fine,” he says. “Someone else from the pack will be here later. Lance just wants to make sure you get there in one piece on those awful roads. Easier with some daylight left.”
You take his word for it, partly because he really does seem excited to have company, and partly because Lance starts walking and you have to rush to catch up with his quick, long-legged stride. The crowd thins as you leave the mazelike aisles of craft vendor tents. You pass into the shadows of a parking garage, wrestling with an odd, uncomfortable feeling. The hair on the back of your neck is standing on end. Something feels wrong. You clutch the box to your chest. The wood is warm where Lance handled it.
“You’re really sure this is okay?” you ask him one last time. “I won’t be offended if you change your mind. I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes, especially if your pack isn’t expecting visitors.”
“It’s fine. Don’t worry so much.” He sounds a little exasperated but he’s smiling very slightly, his hand resting on your back. “I gave them a heads up so they know you’re coming. And trust me,” he says, his voice dipping into nearly a growl, “they can’t wait to meet you.”

It's been a while and in a while I mean I deleted everything three years ago and have been lurking since then.....However here's my current project while I learn a new art program and try to dig my watercolors out from beyond the grave....

This is a side table to a dresser and desk set that me and my mother got and ive been re-doing by myself. Right now I'm branching out from jewelry and testing out how an epoxy resin top would look, it's nowhere near completed yet but I plan on updating about it here rather than my insta or tiktok

MicroKillers
Runner-up in the University of Portsmouth Short Story Prize 2023
A weight lifted as the doctor took Lily from my arms and laid her on the medical table.
“Daddy, weren't you coming too?”
The tails of the body straps were hanging just out of sight beside her.
“No, baby, I have to wait here. But I’ll see you in fifthteen minutes.”
I pinched the fat on her cheeks and the doctor carted her toward the double doors.
Her mother had described the procedure to me before Lily was born. Back then, they provided a curtain and even a chaperone if the girls were particularly anxious about the discomfort.
Back then, the council could afford anaethesia too.
Drumming rumbled through my ears as I caught the last sight of my daughter between the doors, her gappy smile still intact. The silence that followed left the sinking realisation that she would not have gone quietly had I resisted.
A dull howling began to trickle through the doors.
At our next visit the following month, another doctor, whose jovial nature would not be contained by the triviality of a waistline, assisted Lily through the glass doors at the hospital entrance.
“Okay! Good news first.” Lily hovered by the office door. I pulled her over, my comfort rejected as she wrestled in my arms. “Lily’s infection is gone, which means she is now eligible to be put into the system and matched. Today — with your permission, sir.”
Lily pressed her fist into my chest. It had been her eleventh birthday yesterday and I’d promised we’d see the rides at the pier after her appointment.
“You want to match her today?”
“Oh, goodness!” The doctor laughed. “If only things were still so efficient. No, the process may take some months.”
Fabric tightened around my collar and I suppressed a choke. I captured Lily’s fist and rocked her, wondering how far we could make it beyond the channel, if we found a boat, before the wasteland consumed us or we starved…
“Unfortunately, the physical t-r-a-u-m-a from the removal for cryopreservation has left some questions regarding her fertility. However, we are confident that any faults will be corrected with a viable match, okay?”
Her mother would’ve known how to delay all of this.
“And her heart?”
“There aren’t any indications that your daughter has inherited your match’s—”
“Lucy.”
“...Lucy’s arrhythmia. Lily’s sangius-plasticus is lower than the current average for girls her age.”
Lily’s partner, Nicholas, fourteen, seemed too old to have lived so long unmatched.
“He has incredibly low sanguis-plasicus levels,” the doctor had said, “and his life expectancy is almost forty! Wonderful news for your gene pool, sir.”
Behind the thick rim of his glasses, Nicholas’s face swarmed with acne. He stood frigidly on the pier and stared at Lily.
I found the boy's father to be rather charming. He had dedicated his life to substituting epoxy resin—
“That used to line our food rations, didn’t it, Daddy?” Lily interjected.
“It did indeed,” Nicholas’s father replied. “My product not only combats microplastic infusion but contains isoflavones. Do you know what those are?”
“Isn’t that for old women?”
“Well, yes,” Nicholas piped up, “but Dad found a way to enhance their cancer fighting properties—”
“Even if the tumor is already growing?”
“Iso’s slow the growth, see…”
Nicholas’s father and I smiled at one another. It appeared the pair had their intelligence to bond over, Nicholas gaining a side to Lily I had yet to meet.
For his sake, I hoped it would be enough by the time he was due to fertilise.
“It hurts, Daddy, it hurts so bad—”
“Not long now, baby. It’ll all be worth it, I promise.”
I wiped sweat from her forehead, her face convulsing pink and agonised— a gasp clawed its way out of her.
“Update, nurse?”
“Still not at transition. Patient is not yet fully dilated, sir.”
Lily had been disabled by contractions for eighteen hours at this point. She grasped my hand and cried out for her mother.
The doctor motioned for the nurse, and they stepped beyond the opaque window. Exasperation etched through the glass, I jolted as the nurse threw her clipboard at the doctor. Lily howls, drawing my attention until the doctor reenters.
“I need to operate, if you would step outside.”
Behind him, the nurse's arm lays exposed and twitching on the marmoleum floor.
“I-I’m staying for the birth of my grandchild.”
Lily rocked beside me. I stepped between her and the doctor, feigning strength.
“You must step outside, sir.”
Security’s padded silhouette passed the window.
“No. I am staying with my child—”
Lily’s hand clamped around my arm as security yanked my shirt.
“Daddy, look after my baby—”
I saw the minutes trapped in her eyes.
“—Promise me, Daddy.”
She squeezed my hand and time became tame.
Eternity stretched between us.
I let her go.

LIKE NO ONE’S WATCHING ↳ very, very late in the evening. location; hydra waterfront. with @vale-x / x
through a small but seemingly mighty bluetooth speaker; rêverie, L. 68, composed by claude debussy fills the space.
a dingy mop wistfully glides along the epoxy floor finish, soaking up the residue of someone’s night life remedy. it smelled like vodka, but rain wasn’t experienced enough to really know that to be true. alcohol was all the same to her, bitter and the recipe to letting your demons run free. personally, she hated the idea of that more than the taste itself. maybe that’s why she’s so reluctant to let it come anywhere near her mouth, even now as an adult. at the very least, her job was clean it all up- and not entertain it.
finally, after sweeping from corner to corner while picking up empty plastic cups and fallen shot glasses in between, cleaning and clearing every drink table and chair to the back, and seeing the floor lacquered in cleaning product from her stained mop head, a sigh of relief puffed past her tired lips, knowing it was time to move her ‘expertise’ to what she liked to call the curtain call. when the dj’s equipment wasn’t stationed in the middle of the space, it really felt like a stage. from where she stood, she could see the light fixtures aiming the where she'd planted herself and her imagination began to unfold behind her dark eyes. although these light usually flash bright tones of neon, her likeness saw an inviting shade of beige- much like a spotlight centered for the principal dancer. as if that could ever be her. that’s always how her urge to dance started, pretending the lights were waiting for her, and her speaker on it’s highest level switching melodies as if the composer in the pit was queueing her first move. tonight, her arms rounded the moment ‘song of time’ by abel koreniowski was recognizable to her ears.
like a wave slowly grabbing the sand inch by inch, her posture rolls through her petite frame as it starts in second position, her arms extend out to either sides with a gentle strength running from her shoulders all the way through to her finger tips. next comes a grand plie with a port de bras to her left, the movement slow and in time to the dark hum of the cello. her posture rises and changes through to an attitude, her right leg lifting high behind her effortlessly with a pointed foot through the en dehors, in other words backwards. that finishes forward and stretches through to an arabesque, her dainty and reddened fingers stretching through as if she wanted someone to take hold of them. that dropped into a plie, into a coupe, and into fifth position. that was shaky. more. she thought, and again her body began moving. another turn sprung from her stature, en dedans with her lifted leg bent to where her toes kissed her knee. she lands in an slow and developed plie before finally, she shifts her weight to one leg as the other slowly rises, sustaining that strength and stability until her foot had been beautify pointed above her head, her gaze lowered as her arms followed the point- like they summoning her leg higher and higher. rain held that for a moment, before she gradually let it fall. the dancers held breath released, and a series of huffs trickled after. still, she wanted more... but just when she’d decided to throw her self into a jump- her gaze caught a glimpse of a pair of important eyes that wasn’t there when the curtain opened.
her steps faulter, and she’s stuck- staring back with a loss for words trying to catch her breath.

Inktobertale (25-28)
======(25) It took Nightmare, Dream and Killer to hold him back. Ink was on a yellow high, and it was going to be a mess. First he ruined the newly decorated living room. He tore up all of Dream's sheets, and Ink got into the spray paint. Blue started to hope that the house would burn down again so that it would get rid of the smell of paint. But Dream can home, but before his portal could close, Ink rammed into him, sending him and Dream back from where Dream came. Nightmare's castle. Cross, Dust and Horror where sleeping over at Error's place, so only Killer was with Nightmare.
Killer had just finished watching a very boring chess game between Nightmare and Dream when Ink ran in, being chased by Dream. Ink knocked over Killer and the chess table before anyone could do anything. Dream helped Killer up, and said, with a shrug.
"Yellow." Killer and Nightmare nodded and they ran after Ink. They ran around the castle until they decided to trap him. Nightmare asked what Ink liked to eat when he was on a yellow high. The answer was sugar, of course. So, with Killer and Dream guarding the entrance to the kitchen, Nightmare baked a chocolate cake with frosted flowers. They laid the trap, and waited for long a few moments longer. Then Ink came in streaking like a comet.
The trap was strung, sending cake all over the walls, dousing Dream, Killer and Nightmare in still wet frosting, and warm cake. Ink thrasted in the net, breaking free after a moment and Killer lept on him, which did nothing for the mess. Dream grabbed the other side and Nightmare from behind, wrapping them in all of his tentacles expect one. he called Error and told him to bring the boys to the third floor left main hall.
With the help of Error and the rest of Nightmare's gang, everyone managed to get Ink into a epoxy box, designed for the purpose. With air holes, duh! Only an hour later, Ink came off of his high with a cough of paint. In all truths told, it wasn't a bad high. It only lasted a few hours, and it didn't end with Ink vomiting paint everywhere. And It only ended with one ruined house. Last time Ink had a yellow high, he totaled half of the multiverse within a day. The lesson? Ink's totally a paint demon. =====(26) Ink grabbed his phone, and he knew exactly who to call. A few minutes later, Dust, Cross, and Killer where at the door of the Star Sanses' base.
"Are you ready?" Ink asked, after he let them in. They were standing in front of the couch (As it still had not been repaired from Ink's yellow high a day ago), and he was pacing in front of them. "Because today we will face our greatest threat, our biggest enemies." Dramatic silence reigned over them for a long time. Dust coughed, and when the spell had been broken by the sound, Ink finally added who they were fighting.
"Dream's plants."
"Hell yeah!" Killer nearly screamed.
"There is something unnatural about them." Horror added
"Why the hell not?" Cross and Dust asked at the same time.
"We face even greater challenge because Blue is in the house, and must not know." Ink added. Everyone smiled. This was going to be fun. After a quick stop to Ink's workshop to arm themselves, our likely foursome trooped up the stairs. To the left and down the hall at the very end was Dream's greenhouse/office. Ink opened the door. Inside, plant grew everywhere.
"Go!" Ink pulled out Broomie and covered some plants in acidic paint that made them wilt and crumble. Cross pulled the leaves off a struggling plant and broke off the stem. Horror ate one. Killer pulled out some paint and poured it over some of the plants. He'd figured it was like the paint that Ink had just spread over some of the plant as a his first attack, but it didn't do anything. With a shrug, Killer just slashed them with his knife. And they lit on fire.
"Now this is more like it." He said, and turned away, to destroy more plants. Not even twenty minutes later, the plants were gone. As well as most of the room. Why? Killer left his fire unattended, and they had to leave. Ink put out the fire before it could spread, though, so no house fire. Dream was too relieved to be gone of the apple tree to be mad about the plants, and Nightmare was glad to have an excuse to give Dream more plants. =====(27) Ink looked at the cavanas. He was happy with how they looked. The first was that of a Sans with a lonely expression. Other then that, though, his eyes were hard and unreadable. He seemed to stand out against the other sketched characters. The second canvas was a painting of one of Ink's favorite photos. It was exposed to be of the Star Sanses, but Ink dumped paint on them and Dream chased him. The camera fell off as Dream started to chase him, so it was pretty funny.
"It's missing something..." Ink said to no one. It was the middle of the night, after all. "Ah!" Ink grabbed a brush and painted a line across the two. I was loveless... Was.
Ink smiled. He dried the paint with a handy hair dryer and shoved the completed paintings under a sheet in a random box. It was for him only... Because he's the only person who needs to know. =======(28) Ink was racing around the house. He was looking for one of the most important things he owned. Broomie. Luckily, or lucklessily, Blue and Dream were at Nightmare's castle, helping put up Halloween decorations. And he- Well, Blue had been hesitant, but had agreed after Ink promised to bring some of their friends over- he was in charge of decorating the Star Sanses' base. But he couldn't do that if he didn't know where Broomie was.
"Broomie? Broomie!" Ink speed around a corner and rip open a room. Broomie was sitting in the corner. "Broomie! Where were you? We've got work to do!"
"I thought we were playing Hide 'n' Seek." Broomie spoke in Ink's mind, faux innocently.
"I thought I lost you again." Ink said moving to pick up Broomie.
"Well you found me. C'mon, you said we have work to do?"
"Yeah, and that's the door!" Ink teleported in time to let Stardust, Outer, and Blueberry into the house.
"Are we late?" Blueberry asked softly.
"Not at all! Let's hurry! I bet Blue five bucks that I couldn't get the house decorated properly before he and Dream came back!" Stardust tsked- he didn't approve of betting, but he wasn't going to complain. Not when they had to decorate the entire house in under two hours. And Ink's not gonna settle for half-best...

How To Preserve A Tree Stump
Preserving a tree stump can be a creative and practical way to add a unique touch to your garden or home. Whether you want to turn it into a rustic piece of furniture, a garden feature, or simply prevent it from rotting away, preserving a tree stump is a straightforward process. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you through the steps.
Tumblr media
Materials You Will Need:
Sandpaper (various grits)
Wood sealer or wood preservative
Paintbrushes
Tarp or plastic sheeting
Gloves
Respirator mask (optional but recommended)
Polyurethane or epoxy resin (for additional protection)
Chisel and hammer (optional for bark removal)
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Preparing the Stump
1.1 Clean the Stump: Start by removing any dirt, debris, or loose bark from the stump. Use a stiff brush to clean the surface thoroughly. If the bark is loose or you prefer a smooth surface, use a chisel and hammer to remove it.
1.2 Dry the Stump: Allow the stump to dry completely. This can take a few weeks to several months, depending on the stump's size and moisture content. Cover it with a tarp or plastic sheeting to protect it from rain.
2. Sanding the Stump
2.1 Sand the Surface: Use sandpaper to smooth the surface of the stump. Start with a coarse grit (around 60-80) to remove rough patches, then gradually move to finer grits (120-220) for a smoother finish. Sand the top and sides evenly to achieve a uniform texture.
3. Applying Wood Sealer or Preservative
3.1 Choose the Right Sealer: Select a wood sealer or preservative suitable for outdoor use if the stump will be exposed to the elements. Products containing fungicides and insecticides will offer better protection against decay and pests.
3.2 Apply the Sealer: Using a paintbrush, apply the wood sealer or preservative to the entire surface of the stump. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for application and drying times. Ensure you cover all areas, including the top, sides, and any exposed roots.
4. Additional Protection (Optional)
4.1 Polyurethane or Epoxy Resin: For extra durability, especially if you plan to use the stump as furniture, consider applying a coat of polyurethane or epoxy resin. These products provide a strong, protective finish that can withstand wear and tear.
4.2 Apply the Finish: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for applying the polyurethane or epoxy resin. Typically, you will need to apply several coats, allowing each coat to dry completely before applying the next.
5. Final Touches
5.1 Inspect and Touch Up: Once the sealer or resin has dried, inspect the stump for any missed spots or imperfections. Touch up any areas as needed to ensure full coverage and protection.
5.2 Optional Decoration: If desired, you can paint, stain, or decorate the preserved stump to match your garden or home decor.
Maintenance Tips
Regular Inspections: Check the stump periodically for signs of decay or insect infestation. Reapply the sealer or finish as needed to maintain its protective coating.
Cleaning: Keep the stump clean by brushing off dirt and debris regularly.
Weather Protection: If the stump is outdoors, consider covering it during harsh weather conditions to prolong its life.
Conclusion
Preserving a tree stump is a rewarding project that can transform a simple piece of wood into a functional and aesthetic feature. With proper preparation and care, your preserved tree stump can last for many years, providing a natural and rustic charm to your space. Whether used as a table, a garden seat, or simply as a decorative element, a preserved tree stump is a testament to the beauty and resilience of nature.

A brief introduction to the assembly and assembly process of PCB flip chip
Before discussing the assembly and assembly process of flip chips for PCB boards, it is necessary to understand what devices are called flip chips? In general, such devices have the following characteristics:
1. The base material is silicon;
2. Electrical surface and welding convex on the lower surface of the device;
3. The ball spacing is generally 4-14mil, the ball diameter is 2.5-8mil, and the overall size is 1-27mm;
4. After assembling on the substrate, you need to fill the bottom.
In fact, the reason why the flip chip is called "flip" is relative to the traditional metal Wire Bonding connection method (Wire Bonding) and the process after planting the ball. The electrical side of the traditional chip connected to the substrate through metal wire bonding is facing up, and the electrical side of the flip chip is facing down, which is equivalent to turning the former over, so it is called "flip chip". After the chip is planted on the Wafer, it needs to be turned over and fed into the placement machine for easy mounting, and because of this flipping process, it is called "flip chip".
First, PCB board with flip chip assembly process
In the semiconductor back-end assembly plant, there are now two methods of module assembly. In the two reflow processes, SMT components are first assembled on a separate SMT line consisting of a screen press, a SMT mounter and the first reflow. The partially assembled modules are then processed through a second production line, which consists of PCB flip chip mounters and reflow furnaces. The bottom fill process is completed in a dedicated bottom fill line, or combined with a PCB flip chip line.
Second, PCB board with flip chip assembly process introduction
Compared with other IC devices, such as BGA, CSP, PCB flip chip assembly process has its special, the process introduces the flux process and the bottom filling process. Because of the flux residue (impact on reliability) and the danger of bridging, the PCB board is not an acceptable assembly method to mount on the solder paste with flip chips. In the industry, no cleaning flux was introduced, and the chip dipping flux process became a widely used welding aid technology. At present, the main alternative method is to use no-wash flux, dip the device in the flux film, dip the device ball into a certain amount of flux, and then mount the device on the substrate, and then reflow welding; Alternatively, the flux is pre-applied to the substrate, and then the device is mounted and reflow welded. The flux plays the role of fixing the device before reflow, and wetting the welding surface enhances the weldability during reflow.
After the PCB board is welded with a flip chip, a glue (generally epoxy resin material) needs to be filled between the bottom of the device and the substrate. Bottom fill is divided into liquid and non-liquid (No-follow) bottom fill based on the "capillary flow principle".
Flip chip assembly process flow (non-fluid bottom fill)
The PCB flip-chip assembly process is for C4 devices (the device welding salient material is SnPb, SnAg, SnCu or SnAgCu). Another process is to use anisotropic conductive adhesive (ACF) to assemble PCB flip chips. The conductive adhesive is applied to the substrate in advance, and the device is mounted on the substrate with a higher pressure at the sticker head. At the same time, the device is heated to make the conductive adhesive solidify. This process requires a very high accuracy of the mounter, and a high pressure and heating function of the mounter head. For the assembly of non-C4 devices (whose convex material is Au or other), the trend is to use this process. Here, we mainly discuss the C4 process, and the following table lists several ways of Bumping PCB boards with flip chips and connecting on the substrate.
A brief introduction to the assembly and assembly process of PCB flip chip
The flip chip geometry of PCB board can be described by a "small" word: small ball diameter (as small as 0.05mm), small ball spacing (as small as 0.1mm), and small overall size (1mm2). In order to obtain satisfactory assembly yield, the mounting equipment and its process has brought challenges, with the reduction of the diameter of the welding ball, the mounting accuracy requirements are getting higher and higher, and the accuracy of 12μm or even 10μm is becoming more and more common. The graphics processing ability of the camera is also very critical, and the small ball diameter and small ball spacing require a higher pixel camera to process.
Over time, the size of high-performance chips continues to increase, the number of Solder bumps increases, the substrate becomes thinner and thinner, and the bottom filling becomes necessary to improve product reliability.
