It’s possible I’m biased as someone who’s working towards an education degree, but I genuinely think Doof’s redemption arc would’ve hit better post-series if they stuck with him being a science teacher. For one I genuinely enjoyed Doof101, it was nice to get a different setting for once. And Perry being his weird little teacher’s assistant who makes sure he doesn’t blow up the place was fun. But also like, one of Doofenshmirtz’s big character traits is being a dad. He is literally good with kids, albeit in a dorky sort of way. But a dorky personality is pretty much expected for science teachers. I could definitely see him getting a reputation as the teacher that’s “a little out there but really fun to have. also gives advice about things like college if you ask—he has some bit about going to evil school but other than that solid advice”

Gods, I just... really, really like Cecilos. Cecil getting infatuated with Carlos immediately and that turning from a puppy crush into actual love. Carlos, who was also attracted to him from the beginning, but who didn't really let himself get closer until his near death experience made him stop running.

How they seem picture perfect, except they aren't. They're just people. Cecil gets irritated with how secretive Carlos is, to the point he has to admit Carlos isn't all that perfect like he thought... but he finds that he loves him because he's imperfect, not in spite of it. How Carlos gets frustrated too by Cecil broadcasting everything on the radio, but eventually he comes to terms with that just being part of who Cecil is and finding it endearing. How both of them still compromise, Carlos opening up a little and Cecil keeping more boundaries with their personal life and his radio show.

They don't have one problem that they solve and that's it, either.

The Desert Other World, the secrets, the privacy issue, the weird reality altering events. They go through so much but they try for each other and they come through. They're just sweet.
