#ep: clouds on the horizon

I get the impression that money was a bit tight on clouds on the horizon in general, what with the uneven time put into the lumity kiss vs the hexsquads fight outside blight manner w/ the infamous cha cha slide, plus background details going wonky (like baloony hunter), but my favourite semi-wonky frames are the closeups on Hunters face when he's talking with Luz about him being a grimwalker.

bc the proportions are just. So funny to me. Why is his nose so long. Why are his eyes in the middle of his face. When did his forehead get so big. What's happening. Did I die. Is this purgatory. I unironically love this bc it reminds me that this show was made by people who were trying their best. And sometimes their best looks the Bunter Vs hexsquad fight in thanks to them and other times it looks like this

(although in searching for this image I was informed that a different studio than normal animated clouds on the horizon. Which is probably at least part of the reason why there's so many bungled frames. Also probably why the cha cha slide got animated the way it did. God I love animation)

Information ℹ️

This is a full hood makeover of Three Lakes, the mountain vacation hood that came with Bon Voyage. All lots have been made over and I've also added 5 made over lots from the lot bin. The hood comes in 2 versions; with the 12 local townies or without them. All townies have cellphones and adults have 6 want slots as I think sims should have them even if they didn't attend college. The hood was made on the dirt terrain.

Lyrical essay in the On1y One series

The cicadas in that summer were more noisy than in any other year. The lush branches outside the classroom windows couldn't block the sunshine. The breeze blew through the treetops, and the sun shined brightly. They were so young.

from Episode 1: "He's NOT my brother"

He is like a tree, without happiness or sadness. A part of his body will be sleeping in the earth peacefully; a part will be dancing with the wind joyfully; a part will be providing green shade willingly; and a part will be bathing in the sunshine warmly. So quiet and so proud will he be that he won't have to depend on anyone, or search for anything. (Tian's note: Lyrical essays set the mood without being explicit, like placing an arm around his shoulder to subtly show I've already got him on my side.)

Deep into the night, all is silent. I don't know which cicada it is, but it suddenly lets out a long cry. Even though it's late summer, I feel a flutter like it's early spring.

A young man's heart is unpredictable as June weather, heavy rain pouring and clouds overhead, feeling like it will never end. But when the rain stops, it's all bright again with the sun hanging up high.

A young man's heartbeat is a midsummer wasteland. It's endless and untamed. When the wind blows, the wild grass stretches out to the horizon.

“Ha HA! The horizon! I desire it all!” Ryusui spread his arms out wide, wind swiping at his hair and clothes as he took it all in. “I want the world, and the world wants me!”

“Sure, awesome- mind stepping back from the edge there, Sailor? I don’t think the world wants you encased in it just yet.” Gen reached out from behind, hands coming to the other’s sides to pull him back. In the distance, he swore he heard tin whistles. “Come on before you take a dirt nap-”

“Ahehehe!”

Gen blinked, startled. Ryusui had twisted away, elbows to his sides and eyes wide in shock. When it wore off, the sailor cleared his throat, a faint blush on his cheeks.

“H-Ha ha! Thank you, Gen! A sailor’s nothing without a crew to back him up, and it’s thanks to your quick thinking I’m still standing!” He nodded, trying to hide the small tremor in his voice with a hearty laugh. The mentalist only carried on watching him, tilting his head.

“Of course, though- tell me, Ryusui. What was that just now?”

“What was what?” Spoken too fast.

“That noise you made. It sounded rather interesting, no?” Gen started to smile, walking a step forward. “Are you hurt?”

“Ha-no. No, I'm not hurt.” Ryusui took a step back, further away from the edge. “Not hurt at all!”

“Then perhaps you’re sore? I’m fairly good at massages.” Gen raised his hands, curling his fingers. The sight made Ryusui straighten, eyes widening and cheeks rivaling his clothes. “You can ask Senku-chan when we get back; he’ll tell you.”

“I-I knew it! You two have something going on!” Ryusui backed away further, slowly down the path they took to get up here.

“Oh, sailor boy- our thing’s been common knowledge since day one.” Gen smirked, unfazed by Ryusui’s attempts of diversion. “Everyone knows. Just like how everyone knows about you and Tsukasa.”

“W-What?” Ryusui seemed stunned by this, face on fire. This was Gen’s moment to strike! He darted over, quickly grabbing Ryusui’s sides and squeezing. “AH! Ahehahhahahahaha! G-Gehehhehehn wahhahhhahhait!”

“Hehe, I knew it! I’ve grabbed Senku-chan there enough times to know what a ticklish reaction is! And you sir- are stupid ticklish!” Gen laughed gleefully as Ryusui twisted about, giggling like a child. Feeling bold, Gen stepped closer, moving his hands further around to his belly-

“Gohohohhohootcha!” Ryusui twisted at the last minute, grabbing onto Gen’s waist. 

The reaction was instantaneous. Gen arched with a loud shriek, trying in vain to wiggle away from the sailor’s vengeful fingers. “Whahahahit- whahahahit wahahhahait, Ryuhuhuhuhuhuhuusuuhuuhuhuhiihihi!”

“Ha-HA! Just when you thought you had me! You’re a sneaky guy, aren't cha Gen? Can’t say I’m not impressed.” Ryusui snickered as he gently massaged the spot between Gen’s lower ribs and waist, earning a fresh squeal and hands attacking him-pulling at the back of his coat and banging against his shoulders. “Come now- you know you’re gonna need to do more than that to beat me-hehehheheehhe!”

“Ooohohohoho?” The hands attacking his back returned to his sides, drilling into his ribs and making Ryusui double over in mirth. “Whahahhahat abohohohout behehheahhahting youohohohu?”

If the sailor had a retort, it was lost in his howls of mirth. Instead, his hands carried on seeking out all of Gen’s own tickle spots, the results fruitful. It wasn’t long before the two were having an all out tickle war, their loud squeals and cackles filling the space surrounding them.

Alas though- Gen underestimated challenging someone like Ryusui to war. The man was the self proclaimed “Greediest man on earth”- and he made sure that was known as he swept a foot under the mentalist’s leg, dropping him harmlessly into the grass below and going for his belly. “HA-HA! Take this! I desire your laughter, and I shall get it!” Ryusui snapped his fingers for added effect, ducking his arm down quickly before Gen could prod him there. “Now take this!”

“AHEHHEHEHE! REHEHHEHEYUHUHUUHSUI, PLHEEHHHEASE!” Gen shrieked, arching with a loud titter beneath the sailor. He had lost this fight. “OHOHOHOKAY! OOHOHOHOKAY, STAHHAHAHP YOU WIHIIHIHIHN!”

The sailor did as requested, hooting in victory. Gen groaned softly, too tired to move, even when Ryusui all but collapsed across him. “Ehhhehe…ehhehe..tuuhuhhuckered yoursheheehlf out, dihiihidn’t you?”

“Ha…hahaha…A sahahhahailor…dohohosen’t get tiihihired…” Ryusui tried to get up, but the best he could do was roll onto his back, lying side by side with the Mentalist. “Hehe…hehee…I hahaven’t done that in a long time.”

“Have a tickle fight?” Gen looked at him curiously. Though- he supposed that made sense. He himself hadn’t really had this many tickle fights until he met Senku and humanity fell into the stone age.

“Yeah. I missed it, the whole…tickling thing. Heh,  saying it outloud’s kinda embarrassing, now that I think about it.” Ryusui laughed softly, something vulnerable creeping into his expression that made Gen pause, choosing his words carefully.

“I don’t think it’s embarrassing. I think…a lot of us from our time miss things like that. Intimacy. Goofing about. Back in the modern times, we’d get so busy with our day to day lives that we push down those parts of us.” Gen thought once more of his own life- cameras and photos, book signings and state presence. “I know for me, I hadn’t realized just how badly I wanted someone to just hold my hand until the Stone Age came and there was nothing to distract me from it. Sure, we’ve got the Kingdom of Science keeping us busy, but when the days end and the quiet sets in…” Gen shrugged, turning to Ryusui. “Whatever form it may be- there’s nothing wrong with craving touch.”

Ryusui hummed in thought, considering. Then he smiled. Not his usual “Ryusui the Greedy” smile, but something soft and genuine- something so achingly real Gen wondered just how Tsukasa stayed standing whenever the sailor smiled at him like that. “Thanks, Gen. I appreciate it.”

Gen grinned, nodding. Just then, Senku’s bright green head appeared above them, upside down in their vision.

“Found you two. I heard yelling and got worried.” Judging by the smirk he was wearing, he clearly wasn’t anymore. “What got you two giggling like a couple of school girls?”

“Why, Senku-chan. Some things are better shown than told.” Gen grinned, winking at Ryusui as a new idea set in motion. “Shall we give him a demo, Ryusui?”

“Ha-HA! Sounds like a plan, Gen!” Ryusui snapped his fingers, rolling to his feet with ease. “Come, Senku- let us hear those laughs we desire…”

“What? Oh- Oh, nohoho. No, that’s alright- I’ll take your word for it!” Senku backed up a few steps before taking off, running towards the village with Gen and Ryusui hot on his trail.

The harsh Eufala desert sun beats down on the bandit duo as they ride across Sandrock. Their white knuckles gripping the reins of their trusty steeds as sand flies behind them. Nightfall is approaching and they need to reach their destination beyond the desert boundary to Atara. An acquaintance of Grace's awaits with news of the impending threat, set on destroying Sandrock and all those within its boundary. Whatever it takes... it’s part of his destiny.

Logan’s bright blue eyes set on the horizon with his head held low to avoid any flying sand. it shouldn’t be much further until they reach Atara. Time is of the essence.

Logan: “HHHHEEEEEEEiiiiiiiiiiii-YYYYYYYAAAAAA”

Logan whips the reins and kicks his heels. Rambo picks up speed, navigating sand mounds and gravel pits. Interweaving the grand rock formations in which Sandrock is known for. The agility of such a beast is majestic, for surely, such a heavyweight would substitute strength for agility. Rambo’s legs ride over the sand like a racehorse on turf. He is free. If you saw him in water, you would possibly mistake him for a dolphin, his grey mane and weightlessness mimic that of the beautifully designed dolphin. The grace in his strides leave even the highest paid race horse in the dust.

A second set of hooves follow close behind.

Haru: “I don’t think we will make it by nightfall!”

Haru’s back and legs are growing tired, he doesn’t have the stamina to hold onto his steed quite like Logan.

Haru: “I need a break!”

Logan ignores Haru’s request. And keeps on riding.

Logan: “HHHHEiiiiYAAAAA….. HEEEEiiiiYYYYAAAA!”

Flicking the reins once again, Logan knows it’s just past the horizon. They can make it if they just keep going.

Haru: “LOGAN!”

Haru digs his heels into the side of his beast and Merle let’s out a mighty “BAAA” setting his sights on Rambo. You see, in the ocean if Rambo was considered a dolphin then Merle would be a Swordfish. Much faster than Rambo but out of hierarchy would always stay behind, except in these cases.

Merle quickly darts in front of Rambo and stops him in his tracks.

Logan heaving: “WOOOOOAAAAAA.....".

Logan: "HARU….. Atara is just beyond the break! We can reach the boarder before midnight!”

Haru jumps off Merle and gives his tasseled hair a stroke. Haru whispers into the beasts ear.

Haru: “Thank you my friend.”

Haru unstraps his satchel from Merle and begins unpacking his rucksack.

Haru: “You can keep going, but I would rather not freeze to death once the sun sets…..”

Logan rolls his eyes and let’s out a sigh. He knows Haru is right, Haru is ALWAYS RIGHT.

Haru: “Given the lack of cloud coverage today, tonight is going to be extra cold, I suggest we start a bonfire.”

Logan’s heavy boots hit the ground with a great thud as he dismounts Rambo. He gives Rambo’s head a tussle to shake off the sand from his thick mane.

Logan smugly: “Who is running this ring Haru? Last time I checked I recruited you!”

Haru let’s out a scoff and turns to look up at Logan who stands in front of him silhouetted by the sun beaming around him.

Logan was a tall man, with the body of a Greek god. Chiseled features and muscles on muscles. His eyes, a deep ocean blue with a subtle hint of green around his pupil. He was a beautiful specimen of human design. It would be hard for anyone not to notice his rugged good looks and stature, he oozed sex appeal.

Haru: “Given the lack of sleep and empty belly you wouldn’t make it to midnight my friend…. You are lucky I promised your Pa to stay by your side…. Because you are as stubborn as you are reckless!”

Haru goes back to setting up camp. Logan mutters under his breath.

If there is anything that Haru can hold to his merit, he is as loyal as a dog. He would go to end of the earth for his friends and he cares for them as if they were his own family. In fact since being on the run from Sandrock, Haru and Logan were just that, family.

Before long the bonfire is lit and the camp is set. While huddled around the fire Haru pours tea, while Logan grills the Yakmel steaks. It’s getting cold.

Haru hands Logan a cup of tea and settles himself across the fire staring into the flames. In that moment both of them forget that they are on the run, home was now a distant memory and everything that comes with the ‘normal’ life ceased to exist.

Haru: “How bad is it?”

Logan puzzled: “How bad is what?”

Haru: “Being alone”

Logan looks up from the grill to see Haru zoned out gazing into the fire.

Logan shrugs his shoulders and goes back to cooking the steaks.

Logan: “I don’t care too much for company anymore. Being on my own means I don' need no bodies permission and I can come and go as I please.”

Haru: “Hmmm”

Logan: “Since Pa’s been gone….”

Logan swallows the hard lump that has formed in his throat.... his emotions. It’s still hard to talk about his Pa. Even with Haru.

Logan: “….. I haven’t felt the need to have anyone close by"

Haru looks up from the flames to look at Logan. He is aware of the pain Logan carries and the guilt he ultimately feels.

Logan: "Its just easier not to have feelings. Besides....."

Logan takes a deep breath.

Logan: "We have more important things going on Haru. Like saving this godforsaken town."

Haru nods his head.

Haru: "Even if the townsfolk dont appreciate it."

Logan takes the grill off the fire and walks over to Haru.

Logan: "We are doin this for ma Pa. His promise to Sandrock was to always protect its people."

Haru reaches out his plate and Logan slides a Yakmel steak into it. It hits the plate with a sloppy squelch. Not the most appetizing meal, but it will provide enough sustenance for the weary travelers.

Haru raises the steak to his mouth and takes a huge mouthful. His hunger is immeasurable.

Logan sits down on the opposite side of the bonfire and starts to devour his meat like a ravenous dog. Decorum wasn't a priority right now. Especially as Logan hadn't eaten in 2 days, being a bandit on the run meant the regular meal was hard to come by.

Haru goes to speak with a mouthful of food.

Haru: "So ho'bout that builder ey?"

Haru winks at Logan.

Haru: "Not to bad on the eyes..... and a combo to boot! She kicked your ass Logan!"

Logan lets out a sarcastic laugh.

Logan: "She was lucky I went so easy on 'er... I knew Grace was behind me the whole time, I just wanted to give 'er a taste of what its like going up against a real outlaw."

Haru lets out a wail of a laugh.

Haru: "Come on Logan! Admit it! She had moves... She beat me for peetsake."

Logan shrugs his sholder toward Haru.

Logan: "Like I said... a REAL outlaw."

Haru kicks sand towards Logan in playful jest. He places his empty plate down and lies down on his back staring up at the endless abyss.

Haru: "Anyway she was a looker...."

Logan continues to hoover down his last pieces of food. Not taking much notice of what Haru is talking about.

Logan: "Mmmmm"

Logan rests his plate beside him and stretches out beside the fire, his legs almost reaching Haru's head.

Haru: "I hope we get to see her again... I think she would really like me."

Logan looks over at Haru. Haru's cheeks are blush as he reminisces on his encounter with the builder. Its sweet, Haru has a crush and Logan can see it all over his face.

Logan: "Well she might be a looker but she would soon enough stab you in the back!... That's the dangerous type!"

Haru whips his head around to look at Logan in shock.

Haru: "What do you mean? Shes helping us Logan!"

Logan shakes his head and stares into the night sky.

Logan: "Don't trust noone Haru, even the pretty ones. They will rip your heart out! Remember trust is earned."

Haru: "But Grace vouched for 'er! Shes one of the good ones!"

Logan shakes his head.

Logan: "Grace is only here to better 'er standing in Atara Intelligence, she wants to make Chief Commissioner one day!"

Haru: "Oh comeon Logan! Grace is our friend! We wouldn't be here without 'er!"

Logan scoffs.

Logan: "Humpffff... That might be true. But everyone has their own prerogative Haru. You would be smart to remember that!"

Haru turns back around and nestles into his rucksack. Its cold out and the stars are outnumbering grains of sand.

Haru: "When this is all said and done, I am go'n to marry dat girl!"

Logan lets out a scoff.

Haru was like a puppy, he fell hard and fast. But not Logan, he was hard headed and as stubborn as a mule. It would take quite a woman to break this bad boy.

Haru let out a prolonged yawn and before long he is fast sleep. Logan settles himself on his back staring into the sky, closing his eyes as he dreams of the days events.

It had been a long time since Logan had felt the warmth of a woman's touch on his skin, smelt their sweet aroma or combed his fingers through their hair. Logan longed for the feeling of a woman's touch and caressing her full bosom in his hand, slightly flicking the peach nipple in his fingertips. He had yearned for a woman for so long, he wanted to quench his thirst and succumb to her animalistic instinct. He reached down into his leather pants and touched his pulsating appendage.

His breath begins to quicken and his hand glides along the shaft of his member. He pictures a woman straddling his waist as he lifts her into the air, his hands grabbing onto her posterior with force as her arm wrap him in for a warm embrace. He has her high in the air and places her on his member, they gasp as the immediate pleasure sweeps over them both. With each pulse he becomes more and more hard. He grabs the her hair and pulls her head back as he sucks the sensitive skin surrounding her neck. She moans and grinds deeper and deeper. Logan lets out a deep growl as he feels the wetness of her core pulsate against his member. She digs her fingernails into his shoulders as he lets out a mighty heave. With the last of his energy they crumble into a heap on the floor, both heavily breathing as they lay on the ground. Logans head resting on her stomach, the rise and fall giving him a sense of calm and comfort. She combs his hair so delicately and kisses his head as she catches her breath. His hand wrapped around her waist so tight, he never wants to let this go. This feeling he longed for, the sense of comfort and love. This place felt like home.

As he catches his breath he tilts his head up to see the woman's face. It was only then that Logan would see the woman he was craving and yearning for. The woman he craved was the builder!

Okay, let's say I'm not fully committed to watching all of The Owl House but I really do want to see what the hell is up with those Hunter and Luz kids. Which episodes should I watch???

alright i'd be remiss if i didn't put a disclaimer here: the show follows a linear plot so if you skip around, you will both encounter major spoilers and miss context. BUT all of the key hunter and luz eps are pretty easy to follow imo.

Hey its Cora here it's my first post and idk how to use this app😭 anyways this is a SFW mha headcanon post I'm probably using this really badly idk how to tag or anything but enjoy (: it's based on the song "mom, im leaving" by MiatriSs.

To me, the song entitled "Mom, I'm leaving" (мам, я уеду) by MiatriSs, is about the todoroki family, specifically the broken, toxic family dynamics between Endeavor, touya and shoto. The first verse (Tell me how scary it is If a shadow wants light? Tell me how safe it is to follow your prohibitions?) Deacribes how Dabi feels that he is constantly treading on eggshells with endeavor and how he doesn't know what he should and shouldn't do because of his father's abuse, resulting in him leaving and having ongoing emotional and physical trauma from this. It could also describe how shoto got his scar on his eye. The line "if a shadow wants light" to me reflects the episode where endeavour is showing and telling touya about Hellflame and both Dabi and shoto feel pressured and forced to follow in their fathers footsteps to become the next heroes.

"I'm suffocating I'm choking on the awareness of being lost Every day" describes how dabi feels so lost and alone as a result of how his family is treating him. "Every day" things get worse for him to the point he feels as if he's choking and suffocating on his father's words to the point where he breaks. "In which I play the victim Surviving, but I know That change not far away" shows how he is just...surviving. at this point he's not living, only surviving. however, he feels that change is "not far away" and at this point in the song there is a major change In tone and the background music also changes from reflecting ebdeavors harsh words to a more dissociative, barely there background tune after the words "change is not far away". He at this point decided to join the league of villains.

"Mom, I will go to the heavens Above the world, to the clouds I will soar like a bird With wings fluttering the flames " the phrase "I will go to the heavens" reflects how he changes his name, his identity but never his hatred for his father. "With wings of flames" to me reflects the legend of Icarus, how he flew too close to the sun but also how endeavor almost "burnt off" his metaphorical wings with his abuse.

"Even if the edge of the Horizon is not visible now, but I believe" dabi believes, even though hope is "not (yet) visible". "I will try to build a New city, a new one" reflects how dabi is filled with sadness and anger at having his childhood taken away from him. He wants to go far away and forget his past. He wants to live a life where he is living for himself, not anyone else. He doesn't want the pressure of family hanging over him and haunting him, hence why he joins the LOV. That is his family now, not the toxic "family" he was born into.

The change of tone of the background music and Miia's voice at "mom I will go to the heavens" to me is about Dabi's dance (season 6, ep 11) where he confronts endeavor and shoto and faces his past. So scary for him, but he does it so well.

"What will I find? What am I looking for... So scary, BUT I don't care Forgive me That I was silent... The time has come Farewell, pier!" The song ends with dabi using a bottle of water to wash his hair dye out. <My name is touya todoroki>. His father is filled with sudden sadness now he suddenly realised how he's failed as a parent. He will never, ever make it up to dabi. Nothing he will ever do will make up for the pain he has put dabi through. And dabi will never forgive him.

"Forgive me, that I was silent" dabi is angry at himself too. He is finally speaking up, and whilst he was moved on in a physical sense (changed his name, appearance, family) he has not yet and never will move on mentally. He is not touya todoroki, he is dabi and his family is the league of villains.

(Not me crying whilst making this more than I ever have done in my life -_-)

But the too long, didn't read version is that Hunter meets Willow as her real self first, strong and confident and extremely talented, without the knowledge of who she used to be. And Willow meets Hunter as just a normal, awkward teen (so...like the real hunter) without initially knowing he was the golden guard! It's about identity and first impressions and being seen how you want to be seen and having a fresh start!

But apart from that:

Half a  Witch thing (mostly their reactions, you can see the he/she's just like me...  from both of them)

They are very fast friends, they start chatting on penstagram a couple of minutes after their first meeting ends (probably again because of the first impressions and half a witch thing)

Hearing Willow say she was half a witch being one of hunter's worst memories

Them being shown to make a good team in any sport in a storm, labyrinth runners and clouds on the horizon

That moment in labyrinth runners when they manage to have a conversation without even audibly speaking to each other

Willow going batshit crazy to save him and running straight off to the airship without a plan (when she's previously shown to be pretty level-headed when her friends are in danger) (if that's not an indication of emotional closeness, I dunno what is)

Just her reaction to Hunter's death with the be careful with him and Willow cradling him

To be honest, I think with the limited time, they did a pretty good job of getting across that these two are a set, do not separate

And :

1.   Prior to for the future, Willow never actually blushed or acted nervous around Hunter (which are the main two indicators of a crush in The Owl House).  In clouds of the horizon,  I would say that while the story showed that Willow has a lot of care and affection for Hunter,  it was the fandom that assumed that that affection was romantic back then.

2.  Nearly all of Willow's outfits  have been the colours of the aromantic or aro-ace flags

3.  Someone actually made a post  before enchanting Grom fright detailing all the reasons that they believed willow might have been intended to be aro.  That post has since been deleted but I do have it copied out if you want to see it all

4.  Willow would have been amazing as aromantic rep.  She is kind bubbly warm extroverted and affectionate.  She spits in the face of every negative stereotype there's ever been for aros.

5.  Prior to for the future (hisss...) Willow was the only one in the hexsquad  never to have had even indication of a crush (because Gus had blushed at Bria before)

6.  I just think it would have been really fun to develop a queerplatonic  relationship in contrast to lumity which is is a very mushy,  very stereotypical very fairytale romance

7.  Honestly I considered this the reason  Huntlows relationship hadn't been cut despite the the shortened season

and so I tricked myself into believing that the writers  had intended for queerplatonic  Huntlow  to be canon  until for the future came along.  Now I can conclude that I was wrong and Willow is most likely not aro and her affection for hunter is most likely romantic however,  I have considered pinky holds to be a queerplatonic thing beforehand due to another movie called wish dragon.  And then there was  that non romantic love confession  and a yellow and pink background in one of their earlier scenes together so yeah,  despite this episode  invalidating all the reasons I had originally started liking queerplatonic Huntlow,  their soft moment this episode certainly had a lot of queerplatonic swag to me.  And look astriiformes agrees

How do you think TOH handles abuse and trauma representation?

Ok this has been if my draft/inbox for the longest time so brace yourself anon

I’d say (for me personally) it’s more of a hit or miss depending on who you are talking about and what redemption you are talking about.

For instance, Alador, for me I feel like his redemption we needed like 1 more episode between Reaching Out and Clouds On The Horizon before he was fully redeemed. Of course, this is all my opinion and if s3 wasn’t shortened then we probably would have gotten 1 or 2 more eps with Alador. I fully believe that despite the shortening, Hunter, Lilith, and Steve where gonna be redeemed regardless of a full season 3 or not.

If we are talking out the “best” res presentation of trauma I would have to say Hunter hands down. He went from a physically and mentally abused kid who was in a cult to a kid who got to be a kid and cosplayed with his surrogate younger brother Gus and found like 4 healthy parental figures for him to rely on.

I could go on and on about this but for me if s3 wasn’t cut short I’d say it’d be more of a hit but since the shortening I’d say SOME characters are more of a miss but overall I’d say they where pretty good.
