(FR) Schwarzwald (La Forêt-Noire) La Forêt-Noire (Schwarzwald) est un massif montagneux situé dans le Sud-Ouest de l’Allemagne, dans le Land du Bade-Wurtemberg. Elle résulte de l’effondrement du graben avorté du fossé rhénan, qu’emprunte le Rhin en coulant vers le nord, lequel fleuve constitue en cet endroit la frontière entre l’Allemagne et la France.

Paysages variés

La Forêt-Noire offre des paysages variés : au nord, les épicéas bordent des routes escarpées ; au centre, les vignes des coteaux cèdent la place aux pâturages et à de riches fermes-auberges ; au sud, les lacs alternent avec les hauts sommets. Le massif est visible de Strasbourg, à environ 25 km de distance.

(EN) Schwarzwald The Black Forest (Schwarzwald) is a mountain range located in the southwest of Germany, in the state of Baden-Württemberg. It results from the collapse of the aborted graben of the Rhine trench, which the Rhine follows as it flows north, which river forms the border between Germany and France at this point.

Varied landscapes The Black Forest offers varied landscapes: in the north, spruce trees line steep roads; in the center, hillside vineyards give way to pastures and rich farm inns; in the south, lakes alternate with high peaks. The massif is visible from Strasbourg, about 25 km away.
