I love how different the two most prominent Vastards relationship with their entity is.

The Vast is Simon Fairchild’s CALLING, he LOVES it. Simon is the Vasts special little boy, he has been around for hundreds of years dedicating himself to this entity. His entire him is hingant on the vast and he seems to spend most his time going around and harvesting fear for it, Simon Fairchild and the Vast are inextricably linked eternally. He owes the Vast his everything and intends to give it to it.

Yeah the Vast helped him out so he stuck with it. Truthfully hed have probably gone with any of the entities but the Vast helped him first so here he is.

I seriously do not trust Ricky-doo-daa to write this but. A Luke Castellan book that’s basically just his and Halcyons diary entries. It starts off with a bit of Halcyon but we see the dates are getting farther between them like Halcyon just doesn’t see a pint in writing when there’s nothing happening. and then we see Luke’s first entry. And then we see a lot more of Luke and his troubles and we see him start scheming things and we slowly watch the entries get angrier and sloppier while the dates become farther. But then they get closer but content remains about the same. But then it gets even sloppier and more so scared anxious depressed suicidal than angry. He starts forgetting to put the dates so we don’t know for sure when he wrote it but we can imagine it’s near the end. We watch his slow descent into madness. We watch him go from trying to destroy everything to only trying to destroy himself or at least only destroy the entitty that wants to use him (Kronos). We see him saying goodbye and that this may be his last entry. But there are a handful more. The few moments of clarity while Kronos was in control. These last few entries vary from the scribbles of a madman scheming and plotting an obviously failure and a scared teenager regretting everything and crying for help. Then they just stop. Then the rest of the pages in the book are just empty. There is no ending. Well there was an ending. It just wasn’t able to be recorded in this diary because the narrator Luke finally succeeded in destroying himself as well as the cruel entity that used him. No more Luke. No more Kronos. No more reason to write in that diary. The end.

I recently relistened to MAG 71, Underground. Aka the episode where a lady escaped the buried by just laying on the floor and going to sleep, and Ive seen it get circulated as one of those jokes like the guy who avoided the spiral by just walking away or our king Joshua Gillespie just simply freezing the key.

But I find it such an interesting concept that by just accepting your fate and refusing to feed into the fear you can just get kicked out, the buried realised she wasnt worth the effort, it was going to get no fear out of her so it pushed her out. If you give them nothing to feed on you get to escape, Its a very rare concept because obviously most situations are fucking SCARY and people are SCARED.

But i dont know man its so interesting how powerful indifference if in the face of the entities.

You know what? I have a new pet peeve: the common way fem!husbands are represented in fanart and fanfiction.

We've seen Crowley femme presenting multiple times and he was always portrayed by David. Yet most times I see either (or both) of them femme in fanworks, they're completely body-swapped. Now I would find this less troubling (and, as a genderfluid/nonbinary person, offensive) if the body-swapping was NOT ONLY femme presenting. It's kinda taking the whole sexless/genderless part out of the thing which a) makes no sense for the canon, and b) sets liberation movements (including ...80s? Feminism?? I'm bad with numbers and history) back.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good boobie on my entities (entitties, am I right?), but make them masc as well! Make their "default" bodies femme as well! Stop telling everyone and your mum that body dictates gender, dictates presentation.

It's all "Crowley has all the gender" until you put him in a dress, call him 'her' and change his anatomy.

The pronouns is another thing. I've seen it on tiktok and in fics. Yes, any and all pronouns for them are fine by me for either of them (though they do seem to prefer he/him?), and Martel knows I call them 'they' and 'she' often, but whenever they're portrayed as femme presenting, it's only ever 'she'.

Please, please, please stop reverting this beautiful occult ethereal process back to this "has boobs, is woms" western nonsense...

Get the patriarchy out of your head and let's all enjoy the beautiful beauty of two beings in love... who are bound by neither form nor function nor (human) social concept.

And all of them are ones I named, when it has a "normal" name it was made by Bee. J*nto, the doctor is in, Louis and Jack... those are all NORMAL names and give context for what rps are inside of it
