In 1943, C.S. Lewis delivered a series of lectures at King’s College that warned about the erosion of moral values and the rise of relativism, which he believed would lead to humanity’s ruin. These thought-provoking lectures were later compiled into The Abolition of Man, a book that has since been acknowledged as one of the most significant and influential works of the 20th century.
Today, I believe society has reached the very crossroads Lewis forewarned—an era of subjectivism where concepts of “right” and “wrong” have lost their objective anchor and are instead dictated by personal whims and desires. A striking manifestation of this shift is evident in the construction of an oppression hierarchy. This hierarchy asserts that moral judgements in any given situation is not determined by external, consistent values for judging behavior, but rather by the fluctuating perceptions of who is deemed “privileged” and who is deemed “oppressed.”
In his lectures, Lewis emphasized the importance of universal virtues in guiding our morality. He referred to these virtues, which he believed to be found universally across humanity, as the “Tao.” Originating from Chinese philosophy, the Tao represents a way of life in harmony with the world. Discerning the right way to live, according to Lewis, requires wisdom and character. He describes the Tao as “the doctrine of objective value, the belief that certain attitudes are really true, and others really false, to the kind of thing the universe is and the kind of things we are.”
Regrettably, Lewis observed a decline in such wisdom and integrity among the youth of his era, leading to what he termed “men without chests”—individuals devoid of honor and virtue. His critique was not about dictating the specifics of what is “right,” “moral,” and “good.” Rather, Lewis lamented that we have lost any sense that the right, moral, and good exist at all, writing: “Until quite modern times all teachers and even all men believed the universe to be such that certain emotional reactions on our part could be either congruous or incongruous to it.”
To illustrate his point, Lewis began his first lecture with an anecdote about the English poet Samuel Coleridge. Coleridge was once gazing at his favorite waterfall when two tourists came along, one calling the waterfall “sublime” and the other as merely “pretty.” Coleridge approved the former judgment and rejected the latter.
Lewis’ intention was not to dictate perceptions of waterfalls. His concern was that, when the story was referenced in a “little book on English” for schoolchildren that he called The Green Book, the authors declared that the tourist who called the waterfall “sublime” was merely making a statement about his own feelings. This, according to Lewis, exemplified a troubling shift away from recognizing objective beauty and value.
This sly inward turn toward subjectivity, and away from the belief that certain emotional responses can be congruous or incongruous with reality, deeply troubled Lewis. He feared this trend would lead to “men without chests.” He posited that we would demand from such men qualities like drive and self-sacrifice while relegating virtues like honor and patriotism to mere feeling and opinion. He uses the example of a Roman father telling his son that it is a “sweet and seemly thing to die for his country.” The authors of The Green Book, however, would feel the need to debunk this sentiment the same way they debunked the idea that the sublime nature of the waterfall has any reality outside of the tourist’s own feelings.
Lewis further illustrated his point using a humorous example of himself and his attitude toward children. He admitted, “I myself do not enjoy the society of small children: because I speak from within the Tao I recognize this as a defect in myself—just as a man may have to recognize that he is tone deaf or colour blind.”
Rather than trying to justify the fact that he doesn’t enjoy the company of children by forcing the rest of society to see it as a virtue, Lewis acknowledged it as a personal shortcoming, recognizing that we should value spending time with children. However, it often seems today that people do the opposite: they argue that what they personally like is valuable and what they personally dislike is not. And this is exactly what Lewis saw coming.
When we move away from the Tao and the idea that certain attitudes toward the world are really true and good, we risk evaluating the world solely through the lens of desire and emotional impulses. “When all that says ‘It is good’ has been debunked,” says Lewis, “what says ‘I want’ remains.” He further remarks: “Those who stand outside all judgements of value cannot have any ground for preferring one of their own impulses to another except the emotional strength of that impulse.”
I believe Lewis correctly predicted humanity’s moral trajectory, which is highly concerning considering where he said it would lead. What I don’t think he could have predicted, however, was that one of the major ways that subjective and relativistic morality would manifest was through the oppression hierarchy.
Based on identity characteristics like race, sex, sexuality, and “gender identity,” the oppression hierarchy slots individuals into a stack that ranges from most privileged to most oppressed. At the top, you will invariably find “cis” straight white men. At the bottom, you will likely find black “trans” women, often bearing additional marginalized identities like “disabled.”
The morality underpinning this hierarchy is inherently relativistic. It contends that those lower in the stack are incapable of wrongdoing toward those above. For example, you might have heard that non-white people can’t be racist against white people because they are more oppressed as a group on the basis of race. It is also reflected in the idea that there is no such thing as misandry because under patriarchy men as a class oppress women as a class. This ideology further manifests in attitudes that trivialize or even endorse acts like shoplifting, justified by the belief that capitalism is an “oppressive” system.
Gone is the traditional notion of treating others equally and recognizing antisocial behaviors like theft as inherently wrong. According to this new moral framework, any attitude or action directed against an “oppressor”–be it an individual or a system–is deemed justifiable.
This new morality and its value calculus is also prevalent in contemporary gender ideology. It becomes particularly apparent in how trans-identifying individuals demand privileges that clash with the rights of women. Gender self-identification is a disaster for women’s sports, women’s prisons, and women’s private spaces, but it doesn’t matter because “trans” people are considered oppressed, and “cis” people the oppressors. As a result, trans-identified men can therefore demand anything at the expense of women’s rights, and women who refuse or fail to swiftly comply with every demand are branded as hateful.
Oppression stack-based morality is why trans rights activists feel entitled to call for violence, rape, and death against so-called “transphobes” who disagree with them, and why they receive no real pushback from within their communities. It’s why they feel emboldened enough to hold up signs that say “decapitate TERFs” and to show up at women’s rights events with fake guillotines. It’s why they regularly jump to the defense of male pedophiles, rapists, and murderers who seek transfer to women’s prisons. Critics of such transfers are often accused of bigotry and “misgendering.”
No matter what, the “trans” person in any scenario is viewed as inherently oppressed and incapable of wrongdoing, especially against those deemed as oppressors.
A case in point is Audrey Hale, a mass shooter who killed three adults and three nine-year-old children at a private Christian school in Tennessee. Because she identified as a transgender man, activists quickly slammed media outlets for “misgendering” Hale by referring to her using female pronouns. CNN and The New York Times even issued “corrections,” essentially capitulating to the preferences of a mass child killer. Prominent transgender activist Eli Erlick even called the school a “right-wing institution” and asserted, without evidence, that Hale had been “abused” there.
However, perhaps the most striking illustration of this new morality at play was seen in the response to the Hamas terror attack against Israel on October 7, 2023. Despite the heinous nature of the atrocities committed on that day, a disturbing number of people praised the actions of the terrorists. The moral calculus has been grim. The terrorists were rebranded as oppressed freedom fighters. Consequently, their actions, regardless of how morally reprehensible, were often rationalized or justified because they were perceived as acts against “oppressors.” In this context, the conventional condemnation of acts like mass rape and murder has become contingent on the relative privilege of the perpetrator and the victim. Then, a terrorist attack is no longer a terrorist attack.
While Lewis couldn’t have foreseen the specific outcomes of a shift towards subjective morality, nor the intricate oppression hierarchy that now informs societal judgments of “right” and “wrong,” he was nevertheless correct in identifying that it would be based on nothing more than personal desires and emotional impulses. The supposed objectivity of the oppression hierarchy is, in reality, a façade. The allocation of characteristics within this hierarchy, and the corresponding levels of privilege or disadvantage they confer, are seldom reflective of real-life circumstances. Instead, they are dictated by prevailing social and political trends, and the caprices of those in power. The clearest evidence of this is that a straight man instantly plummets from a position of unrivaled privilege to one of significant oppression simply by donning a dress and wig.
But what implications does this perspective have for society? Lewis wasn’t optimistic. He argued that discarding traditional values in favor of self-crafted ones, based on whims and impulses, does not lead to emancipation. On the contrary, it subjects us to what he termed “Conditioners”—those who “cut out all posterity in what shape they please.” These Conditioners are, in my opinion, analogous to those making the decisions about where individuals sit on the oppression hierarchy. “They produce conscience,” Lewis says, “and decide what kind of conscience they will produce.” In this manner, the Conditioners effectively conquer human nature. However:
At the moment, then, of Man’s victory over Nature, we find the whole human race subjected to some individual men, and those individuals subjected to that in themselves which is purely ‘natural’—to their irrational impulses. Nature, untrammelled by values, rules the Conditioners and, through them, all humanity. Man’s conquest of Nature turns out, in the moment of its consummation, to be Nature’s conquest of Man.
Lewis feared that a shift toward subjective and relativistic morality might inexorably lead to totalitarianism, with those in power guided by their basest instincts. Reflecting on the latter part of the 20th century, it appears his fears were not unfounded. At the time of his observations, such moral perspectives were already shaping the ideologies of fascism and communism. Despite his cautionary words and the unfolding of events that mirrored his warnings, this new morality continued to proliferate throughout society and it is now the guiding star of radical progressives.
While I favor Lewis’ view, I’m not arguing that everyone must necessarily agree with the concept of objective morality. I’m sure many lively debates could spring up around his words, and no doubt many have. I know numerous people with strong morals and values who might insist that they came to those values rationally, that we don’t need to rely on tradition, and that morals aren’t necessarily objective. I also know that some would say evolutionary biology has played a significant role in shaping moral attitudes, a view I accept, though I believe is not the sole factor at play.
Yet, I hope we can collectively recognize the dangers inherent in the other view—that right and wrong should be judged only according to the emotional intensity of a given impulse. This new morality has created an oppression hierarchy, where the moral standing of an action hinges entirely on the relative oppression or privilege of the involved parties. This perspective has led us to a precipice where, alarmingly, an act as heinous as cold-blooded murder might not be deemed wrong if perpetrated by someone from an oppressed group against an individual from a perceived oppressor group.
Do not let yourself become conditioned to accept this.

Hi Charity! I have a question about ENJ and ESJ I would love to hear your opinions about. Usually the 'know exactly what they want and pursue it at all cost' and 'having firm path in life' stereotype is associated with ENJs, correct?
Sometimes INJ more than ENJ, to be honest. But yes, high Ni tends to get a sense of where they ought to be going and move in that direction. It's not always clearly visualized -- like my ENFJ friend says, she doesn't know where her degree in psychology is going to lead, just that she knows she ought to get it and it will open the doors she needs to get where she wants to go one day, even though the end result is not clearly defined yet. Her intuition has never guided her wrong in this before, so she trusts it and follows it. She can just look ahead and imagine herself somewhere or with a certain plaque on her desk and she sees that as her goal. It's very inner-visionary.
But wouldn't it be more ESJ thing than ENJ thing? Especially in young people (18-25). This comes from my personal experience, but my ESTJ sister was very driven and has a firm path in life from a very young age. She has the plan all made out all the way to her retirement and actively acted on it. Another ESFJ I know also know exactly what she has to do and possess similar long term thinking.
SJ types tend to be sensible in terms of knowing what works, what lasts, and what is realistic, so they settle into things by having realistic expectations for themselves, yes. TJs in particular know what they want and go get it as high-energy, driven extroverts. Their long term thinking is sensible in nature -- I will do this for life, then I will retire, and do what retired people do or have these hobbies. This is a different form of long-term thinking than James Cameron having to wait 30 years for technology to catch up to his vision for Avatar (and to make that happen, he threw all of his money into developing the computer technology he would eventually need, and in the meantime, the world changes and becomes uncertain -- a detail he did not plan for...).
Meanwhile, ENJs I know (me, ENFJ and an ENTJ acquaintance) barely know what we want out of life. We just ... live. Any opportunity that comes our way, we snatch 'em. We just live and don't really care much about our future. I'd say we live pretty recklessly. Spending on a whim (though not the 'take all my money, gals!!!' kind of whim), not having solid future plan, don't really know what we want out of life. It took us a lot of efforts to know what we want out of life and stick to it.
This is where I would question your typing skills and whether you are handing out ENJ typings too readily. Proportionally there are not a lot of them so it's unlikely to be running in a pack with them. Yes, it's possible for tert-Se to be reckless, and yes, it can be hard to develop Ni, but it also works consciously in the background even when under-developed to give ENJs impressions and insights and direction. It's very easy for ESPs and ENPs to mistype themselves ENJs. So if this behavior is persistent without any visible Ni, I'd question ENJ.
My ENTJ acquaintance is working in film industry now because he wants to make his own movies. And me working toward becoming a marine raider. We both tell ourselves 'if only I know what I want earlier in life by now we would be so close to success'. For him, it was doing what makes money. For me, it was doing what people expect me to do.
It's possible to be an EP and feel like this. I am not saying you are mistyped, although it's also quite possible, and ENTPs in particular are extremely focused on getting attention and approval when they are attachment types.
That said, I believe ENJ stereotype seems to better fit how ESJs are in real life more than ENJs. Not that I imply there aren't any ENJ that fits the stereotype though. I think ENJs are more similar to ESP stereotype (reckless, impulsive, live on a whim, not knowing what they want out of life) unless we actively develop Ni. Because developing Ni takes work and it's not easy to look inward and visualize exactly what you want out of life. Much less sticking to it since there are so many distractions along the way.
I'm on the fence with this declaration, because yes... and no.
Once ENJs find what they want, they move in that direction. Not having a clue what you want or any specific direction you are moving in for a long time is indeed more EP than ENJ. My father is an ENFJ and he has been on the same path for 30 years. 30 years ago he saw an opportunity for a business, a space no one else was filling, so he sold an idea to people (literally, based on a mock-up) and now we are all part of his dream. He did have many careers before that in sales, but even in his reckless times (over-spending or doing stupid, short-sighted things) he still had a present Ni in being insightful into people and their motivations and needs and strategizing for the future and/or predicting how thing would go. When looking for an ENJ, you need to see Ni as well, not JUST Se. Insight, depth, predictions.
At the same time, we can tell someone is ENJs and ESJs even when ENJs might look like a sensor type and ESJs look like ENJs. One is hard line realistic (Si-Ne) while the other is vague and often impulsive in a bad way (Ni and weak Se). If anything, low Se to me is a LOT more short-sighted than high Se. We pick our opportunities poorly (lead to nothing or bring us down rabbit holes) while high Se knows which opportunity holds water. And that means we are even more reckless and short-sighted. What do you think about this? :)
I agree that tert-Se tends to pick the wrong things, but Se/Ne-dom can also be short-sighted, easily distracted, and lack purpose, especially when you are young.

For the ship questions, Enjolras/Combeferre? Pre-relationship: 2, General: 6, Love: 9, Domestic: 8? (Hope you’re well!)
I have no excuses for how carried away I got here..........Anime boyfriends my beloved...........
2. What was their first impression of each other? They met in college (as in the French equivalent of middle school, not university (also sorry I'm too lazy to find the accent deal with it), and at first they didn't really interact. Combeferre was just this dorky kid who outgrew his clothes every three weeks and wore glasses with really thick frames and Enjolras was just some kid who yells a lot and badly needs to learn what a hairbrush is. And then one day Enjolras saw Combeferre absolutely tearing into some kids who were bullying a new kid, and decides to jump in because of course he does. They both end up outside the headmaster's office, Enjolras has a black eye and Combeferre's nose is bleeding. And then they just look at each other and grin and decide the other is Shaped Like A Friend and that was that.
6. What's their relationship with each other's families? Enjolras' parents are......Horrible. Combeferre genuinely cannot stand them. Weirdly, Combeferre is basically the only thing in Enjolras' life that his parents actually approve of (they don't know they're dating though- That would change pretty rapidly if they knew). Something that Enjolras heard a lot when he was younger was 'Why can't you be more like your friend Combeferre?' and Combeferre resents that Enjolras' parents would use his calmer personality to belittle and bully Enjolras. Enjolras has established strong boundaries so it's very very rare that they're all in the same room, but when they are Combeferre just glares at them the whole time lmao.
Luckily for everyone, Combeferre's family love Enjolras. Combeferre is the oldest of four siblings, so the two of them used to babysit together. It's always very weird for Enjolras when he goes with Ferre to visit family, and his baby sister is like "I'll drive you guys back from the airport!" because nope, she can't drive, she's still three years old and he will not hear otherwise. Combeferre's mum (Mombeferre) adores Enj too, because he's sweet and charming and handsome and passionate and how could you not?! She thinks it's a shame that his parents would turn away someone who shines so brightly, but she makes sure he always knows there's a place for him there. One time when they were both seventeen, Combeferre's mum cornered him in the kitchen and was like "are you sure you two are just friends?" and Combeferre (trying to work out what that funny feeling in his stomach and his pants around Enjolras is) was like YES MUM WHY WOULD YOU EVEN ASK THAT LEAVE ME ALONE. She's very smug when Combeferre brings his boyfriend home for Christmas two years later.
9. Who's more protective? I think they're probably both equally protective- Maybe Combeferre would be slightly more so than Enjolras, but only because Enjolras insists on having no self-preservation instinct
8. How do they celebrate holidays? I think they're probably quite lowkey- They celebrate holidays with their friends as a big group, or go and visit Ferre's family. If not, they'll just stay in their apartment together and cook and spend time together, reading together or planning stuff for the ABC (it's how they relax, let them have this)
god....,,,,., they

I am in need of some explanation for the fic because I have no idea
Okay SO.
I must confess, when I said I was "writing" it was more like, I have two bullet points of planning down and then I got excited and got on here to tell you all, so the details are a bit, well, rusty. Bear with me.
So first thing, like I said, it's based off of the movie Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, a Hindi movie which in turn is based off the 1934 English movie It Happened One Night.
As for the plot. Like I said, details are rusty, bear with me. Enjolras is the son of a rather wealthy person, namely JVJ, who became wealthy doing... good stuff. He's in love with...someone. Honestly, I don't know who this guy is yet, but obviously there's gotta be some catch to him if Enj likes him, he SEEMS (key word SEEMS) to be a good person who's really into the same activism stuff Enj is into. However, his father and his sister (YEAH CUZ WHY NOT THROW SOME ENJ AND COSETTE TWIN DYNAMIC STUFF) smell something fishy about this guy, and don't approve of him.
Because Enj is kinda stupid in this one decision, he runs away on a train to Paris where said guy lives (cuz they lived in... lets say Marseilles or Montpellier for now). When JVJ (and Cosette) realize he's gone, he sets out reward money to whoever can find him, while Cosette goes looking herself. On the train, Enj meets a loud mouthed, sarcastic, kind-of-an-asshole-at-first-glance journalist who's just recently been fired from his job by the name of Grantaire. He offers Enjolras help and guidance in Paris in exchange for being able to write an exclusive about Enjolras, which would definitely get him his job back. To top off Grantaire really coming off as a jackass here in the beginning, he essentially gets Enjolras to agree because he threatens to tell his family where he is otherwise.
The two go on various adventures after this deal is struck... and I guess I'll stop telling you about the fic at this point in order to not spoil stuff, although if you've already seen the movie you'll know what happens.
I hope that sounds good lololol thanks for asking anon, lmk if this idea sounds stupid.

The Tales of the Todorokis
Acknowledging character development and writing character development is not and making excuses for ones crimes.
Disclaimer: I read, I interpret, I express. This is a long post filled with images. Also probably some horrible grammar
Apologizing: Apologizing is  acknowledging ones faults and vowing to never commit the same mistakes. What has happened has happened. Nothing can change the past or the effect it had. What you do now, does not change or erase the past, but it helps guide a path of healing for the future. It can be the start of change and morphing into a better person. BUT, only if that person truly means it.
Apologies is not making an excuse for yourself.
Forgiveness: Forgiveness can be rightfully given, or not. It can be a tricky thing to understand at times. Forgiveness doesn’t remove the pain. Forgiveness doesn’t erase the memories. But for some people, forgiveness is a key to freedom, for inner peace. For other people, forgiveness doesn’t offer them that, and that's fine too.
We are not monoliths, we are individual people, with individual brains, with individual emotions, with experiences that affects us as individuals. Our stories might overlap - they might even be identical, but how we process it may not be.
I don’t like this narrative I’ve been seeing recently in the fandom of Horikoshi being an abuse apologist. I think Horikoshi is challenging us and its working.
The Tales of the Todoroki’s: Enji, Rei, Touya, Fuyumi, Natsuo, Shoto
6 people
6 perspectives
6 stories
1 truth
Each viewpoint and each experience from everyone is very important in putting the pieces together (yes, even Enji). In fact, I think it was important to have Enjis viewpoint to the situation because it was such a contrast to what we’ve heard and seen from everyone else. In Enjis mind, he truly thought everyone was complaisant. He saw nothing wrong with attempting to live vicariously through his kids. In the same breath he expresses contempt for this children, its also laced with disappointment
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He speaks of Rei as though she was consensual, but we know he essentially used her a valuable Mare and hurt her as well.
Tumblr media
His treatment of Rei cannot be erased, justified, or forgotten. It happened. We as the audience are suppose to carry that in our minds because we are reading a story about Heroes. This challenges us to understand that heroic actions is not what a hero makes.
There are cops who (most of them tbh) that become cops simply for the power dynamic, not because they desire to protect. A lot of cops abuse their spouse.
Rei: We are only introduced to her through the lowest point of her life and we have no insight on how Enji acquired her (yeah that sound harsh, but isn’t that what happened) nor her domestic life with him. What we know of her are scenes of her pain, and I think thats relevant enough. She may have had some “good” moments out of her situation, but she was still a mouse trapped in a lions den. Good days do not erase her state. Thats why this panel, was so odd to me
Tumblr media
Because it implies that Rei was complicit in having kids even though we as the audience understand that he basically brought her for that single purpose. Now note, this is coming from Enjs mouth, not hers so I can’t sit her be like “oh yeah she was fine with everything”
To me, this is simply Enjis projection because what was Rei honestly going to do? Say no? But who’s to say that she didn’t want Touya to be lonely? Idk, that panel was too wishy washy for me.
Moving on
Tumblr media
She replies to Natsuo by saying that's not true
Tumblr media
Its not in his defense like how Natsuo claimed. Rei never states that she forgives him, and we can see she is still on her journey of healing when she mentions shes still a bit scared of him. However, she acknowledges his acts as stepping stone for his own path of atonement.
Tumblr media
If she does come to forgive him later in the story, thats her decision (Horikoshi actually lol). If she doesn’t, that her decision.
Natsuo:
Tumblr media
The only insight from Natsuo is his resentment towards his father with what happened to Touya and the hurt of their mother. It is revealed later that Natsuo was Touya confidant in the house (I’ll get into that when I talk about Touya).
But He doesn’t forgive him....or hes not at that stage yet
When endeavor saves him from the villain, we are able to see Natsuos raw thoughts:
He’s conflicted: He wants to maintain the peace, but he can’t deny how he feels.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Natsuo felt like he had to compromise his feelings, and that shouldn’t be fair. Even thought he is the middle child, I feel like he took on the presence of the big brother and wanted to protect his siblings. But when you have a man like Enji as your father and you know how he is.....standing up to him as a child is terrifying
So when Enji says this
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’m like: DUH! Of course he would feel like that
But I’m taking this scene has Enji recognizing how he made Natsuo feel as a child which showcases. he owns up to the fact that he pushed Touya to the edge.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yet with all that said, hes not suppose to forget. Hes not suppose to suppress how he feels. And even at his age, that child inside him still hurt and was never offered a chance to properly heal. I know what that feels like.
Natsuo must figure out what he needs to do to find peace - however that may be.
Fuyumi :
We don’t have much insight to Fuyumi and I’m sure  her experience is completely different from her brothers. One, because she was a girl and Enji is misogynistic, I doubt he gave her any type of attention as a father figure especially since she only inherited her moms quirk. I don’t recall  signs of physically abuse on Fuyumi and (Natsuo), but there probably was demeaning behavior at some point. Just being in that environment and seeing their sibling subjected to that, negatively impact her however
But with Fuyumi, she is trying to move on
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think Fuyumi is on her path of forgiving her father -  thats her choice to make to find peace for her experience.  After expressing her desire  to move on as a family, she ask Shoto how he feels....
Oh my sweet prince Shoto:
Shoto has a lot of baggage and being one of the main protagonist, we get a more in depth experience on his relationship with is father. I’m not going to go into too much detail because we all know he detested his father. I’m mainly going to focus on this middle ground that I find him at.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the panels above he mentions having grudges and how it clouds the mind. Thats a toxic feeling to carry with you, especially when you’re trying to be a hero. He recognized that, and he’s been working on fixing that. Even his mother had to forgive herself towards what she did to him.
Tumblr media
Shoto is not here to forgive Enji, hes here to forgive himself
What I mean by that is the fact that Shoto experienced self-hate. He hated a part of who was, how he looked, where he came from.  He had no control of his childhood, but he now has control of his future. At the sports festival, that was Shotos first step towards finding his healing. It wasn’t about Enji apologizing to him. It was about him.
Tumblr media
And now look at him, he’s more social, more expressive, more powerful once he began to love himself. He got there on his own and with the support of his friends.
It doesn’t change what happened to him, and it doesn’t erase his feelings However, it gave him control over himself.
Tumblr media
This is almost the same position Natsuo is in. He hasn’t seen anything (yet) for himself that warrants him to forgive his father. Maybe we will see it in these later chapters... maybe we wont.
Thats his decision
And last: Touya
Touya, touya, touya touya......
I honestly don’t know how to tackle his situation, but shoot me
Tumblr media
From this memory (by Enji), Touya appears...enthusiastic. He appeared that he wanted to train with his father.
And I think this is where things went wrong in his rearing. He was GROOMED .
Tumblr media
Enji, being who he was, probably placed the ideas in Touya head of great success, importance, power, fame, ect. These things sound good to a child, and being the only child at the time, he had all his fathers attention. But as he got older and his quirk became incompatible, things started change.
Tumblr media
Even before his quirk no longer became compatible for him, Enji still didn't see Touya as his ideal child, but he accepted it. Touya looks to be about 6 here meaning Shoto wasnt born yet or an infant.
Going by the ages given for Shoto, Fuyumi, and Natsuo I’m going to state that
Touya was 13 when he staged his death
Fuyumi was 11, Natsuo was 8, and Shoto was 5 and thats when we are introduced into in abuse.
So there is a 8 year window between Touya shift in his relationship with his father and the start of Shoto gaining his quirk.
That is a missing puzzle piece, and I can only speculate what happened in that time period to drive Touya to his mental breaking point and what his father did or, didn’t do for him.
Tumblr media
Here, there is more white in his hair and he looks to be maybe 10? And this is when he starts to question his existence.
I can’t say all that Touya went through from the time Shoto was born to his faked death.
I think Touya suffered from feeling abandoned by his father father, the feelings of being a failure because of these ideals of greatness only to be sideline. That he was just a placeholder like the rest of his sibling and not worthy to work along his fathers side.
I don’t think he faced the same treatment from his father as Shoto did.  I think he became blinded by approval and pushed himself to his limits to compete for Enji attention, He probably developed depression, anxiety, and a lot stressors as he became more and more incompatible with his quirk
And I think thats why there is the hate for Shoto because he feels like he took away his purpose ( which has nothing to do with Shoto but everything to do with Enjis grooming)
We know Touya is absolutely not on the scale of ever forgiving his father for what he did. For him to sit there and watch his father on TV and proclaim to be a hero when he knew what went on behind closed doors, it can drive him towards wanting to retaliate.
His story showcases damages of a broken child. Where Shouto found liberation, Touya remained bound to the ambers Enji left on his worth and lies on being a hero.
Not everything can be fixed, and once a crack forms, it will continue to spread until it shatters.
In conclusion
The Tale of The Todorokis is not to serve as excusing abuse. Its a showcase of how 1 man can affect the lives of many people in different ways. It is a tale of moving forward, finding peace, and gaining control over your own person.
Enji knows he can’t snap his figures and all will be well.  Though I think some actions he could have done was to take it upon himself to address the country, come clean,  and maybe retire as a hero, but he’s not a perfect character.
But I’ll take what I can get. Enji knows his place, he knows what he has done.

Altcoins bounce to new highs as Bitcoin price trades sideways under $50K
The cryptocurrency market made up for some of the losses of the past few days on February 25, when Bitcoin (BTC) briefly crossed the $50,000 mark and many spirits posted double-digit gains.
Data from Cointelegraph Markets and TradingView show that Bitcoin hit a low of $45,200 late in the evening of February 24, before climbing 15% to $52,000 in the morning.

Although the recovery in the cryptocurrency market is welcome for optimistic investors, the price of Bitcoin is still finding resistance above $50,000, and this level has yet to be confirmed as a support.
Economists have also become concerned about rising government bond yields, which are generally a sign of economic weakness and could have a major impact on many markets.
100,000 of Bitcoin catalysts.
As Bitcoin enters a minor correction phase, analysts are wondering if digital assets could surpass $100,000 by the end of 2021.
According to Giles Coghlan, chief currency analyst at HYCM, the answer to this question “depends on who you ask.” Proponents of cryptocurrency are “very optimistic” that 2021 will be “the year Bitcoin will come to the fore,” while traditionalists are skeptical about the “risky and unpredictable market.”
Coghlan sees the driving force behind recent progress as “public excitement” following the pro-crypto tweets of Elon Musk and Mark Cuban, but now “enthusiasm seems to be waning” as Bitcoin struggles to hold $50,000.
Given the volatility of BTC, it is “too early to say whether this will be a new level of core support.”
Mr. Coghlan said:
“I would not be surprised if the price slowly drops to $40,000 in the coming weeks, which seems a more realistic support level. A drop below that level is also possible, depending on Bitcoin’s performance in 2020.”
The analyst believes that the acceptance and approval of Bitcoin by “large institutional funds and regulators” is the next big driver of new high prices, which will also end the dominance of the cryptocurrency market by retail traders and could eventually lead to a “less volatile” market.
Announcements and protocol updates increase the price of altcoins
Several large and mid-cap Altcoins experienced a price break on Thursday, as recent announcements and new integrations increased trading volume.

“We can never be together” kiss with enj/ferre?
Anon, I am so sorry this took so long. I have no excuse other than I started re-reading the Brick and had a minor meltdown over characterisations. But I had a new year’s resolution to write more and so I finally finished it! Thanks for the prompt and I hope you like canon era angst!
AO3
Retiring from the Musain that night, Enjolras, Combeferre, and Courfeyrac congregate at Enjolras’ lodgings afterwards, as they often do. As always, there are papers to sort out, correspondences to be drafted, and the meeting to be recorded. Combeferre takes the first job, Courfeyrac the second, and Enjolras the third.
Only an hour after settling down, Courfeyrac finishes his writings with a flourish. “There!” he exclaims, triumphant, holding the finished paper out for Enjolras to inspect.
Enjolras takes the paper, Combeferre moving in order to read over his shoulder. Invested as they are on reading, neither Enjolras nor Combeferre notice as Courfeyrac gathers his remaining papers and goes to fetch his coat and hat.
“This is good.” Enjolras approves, his expression taking a turn towards concern as he sees Courfeyrac don his hat. “You are to leave us so soon?”
“I am afraid so, my friend. I suspect Marius may be in need of a place to stay tonight, and, forgetful as he is, I doubt he had the sense to bring the key I gave him.”
Enjolras contemplates this. “And how is Marius? I have to confess, I am quite surprised you have not yet convinced him to return to our meetings.”
Courfeyrac laughs, “Believe me, Enjolras, it is not through lack of trying, I assure you! I fear we quite overwhelmed him last time.”
Anyone paying attention to Combeferre at this moment may have noticed the dark blush that spread itself over his already dark cheeks. Enjolras, however, remained oblivious in his own musings, and Courfeyrac was far too invested in recounting news of Marius to the effect that Combeferre’s embarrassment went unobserved.
Enjolras hummed thoughtfully. “Well, don’t hesitate to let him know he has a welcome reception with us,” and with that he nodded, apparently believing the matter closed. If Marius was not to visit again, there was not much that could be done; though his political sensibilities had not been a perfect fit for Les Amis de l’ABC, Enjolras had no doubt that the young man would have been an excellent addition to their cause. In a way, it was a shame to think he would not return- but Courfeyrac would no doubt make good on his promise of attempting further recruitment. Until then, there were other matters to attend.
Just as Enjolras was about to bid Courfeyrac goodbye, his friend spoke again: “I rather think he has larger priorities right now, anyway.”
“Larger priorities?” Interrupted Combeferre, recovered from his earlier embarrassment. “By which you mean…”
“He fancies himself in love!”
“In love?” Questioned Enjolras.
The laugh of a young man is a delightful sound, and at that moment Courfeyrac’s laughter could have outmatched that of a thousand others. “Yes, in love. I know you to be quite unfamiliar with the notion, of course, Enjolras, but do try to keep up! Marius believes himself quite the romantic- and not in the same way as our dear fellow Prouvaire, either… No, he’s quite unfit for the revolution. But who knows! He may surprise us yet.”
Combeferre hums in thought. “Being so inclined does not dictate he should revoke his place with us; there are many among our leagues who are similarly involved with another, yet still devoted to progress.”
Nodding his head, Enjolras agrees. “Combeferre is right. He need not choose between two ideals. Love is at the heart of why we fight, after all. Besides, I am not… unfamiliar with the concept-”
“Forgive me, Enjolras!” Courfeyrac laughs, placing a hand on Enjolras shoulder in jest. “I did not mean to forget about your dear Patria. We all know how strongly you feel towards her.”
Enjolras frowns, ready to retort, but Courfeyrac sweeps down to place a kiss against his cheek in farewell, before repeating the action with Combeferre. “I will see you both tomorrow, I expect! Do give Joly my regards if you visit him tonight, Combeferre, he was in a bout of fever last I saw of him.” At Combeferre’s nod, Courferyac grins. “Goodnight, citizens!”
The door closes behind him with a ‘thump’, and Combeferre is the first on his feet to ensure it is locked once more. Enjolras spends a few more moments contemplating Courfeyrac’s words, before shaking himself out of his stupor.
“Is everything alright?” asks Combeferre, returning to his seat.
“Everything is fine,” replies Enjolras, beginning to write once more.
Combeferre nods. The two men acquire a comfortable silence, as Combeferre reads through Courfeyrac’s work and Enjolras pens out more of the progress they’d made in their meeting earlier. This is an activity that is only ever done in the company of one another, in a locked room, at nightfall. After they have retired for the night, the writings will be kept in a locked drawer beside Enjolras’ bed. Courfeyrac has often expressed some doubt at the need for such secrecy, but Enjolras maintains that it is a necessity; he will not take chances with their aim, nor with his friends’ lives.
Usually, they are able to achieve a substantial amount of work in the evenings they spend together, but tonight Enjolras is distracted. He does not slack off from his duties, but he is slower to finish his lines and will pause for moments at a time before returning to his work.
“Something is troubling you,” says Combeferre, who has finished his reading and has taken to watching Enjolras.
Enjolras takes a moment to finish the sentence he is writing before his eyes meet Combeferre’s. “Nothing of importance, I assure you.”
“But it is something.”
“It is hardly worth the effort of giving thought to, never mind voice.”
“And yet you appear to be thinking about it.”
Enjolras’ head bows. “Fine. We may discuss it quickly, but I ask of you, do not mock me for this.”
“I would never.”
“Do you think me incapable of love?”
Those words, spoken from the voice of conviction and revolution itself, could not more have shocked Combeferre at that moment. “Of course not,” he replies immediately. “But I must admit, I did not expect such a question to be coming from you.”
“Courfeyrac’s comments earlier seems to have disturbed me more than I would like. I confess myself quite unsettled by his words.”
“I am sure he did not mean you any offence, Enjolras.”
“No, of course not. I would not dare to assume he did. It is not within his nature.”
“Then how did you come to be so fixated on the subject?”
“It is something I have heard before. I believe Bossuet made a comment once, about how cold I appear. Also in jest, of course, but nevertheless… There is no place for revolution once it has been severed from the love upon which it is built.”
“Be that as it may, we’ve well established that you are not lacking in your love for France. Courfeyrac may have been teasing, but do not think he would look down on you for it- rather, I’d say many of us admire you because of it, myself included. You need not trouble yourself with thoughts such as these.”
“It is not just for France whom I love.”
“Oh?”
“Bossuet, Joly, Feuilly, Bahorel, Jehan, Courfeyrac… Grantaire. Yourself.”
Combeferre smiles. “Of course.” he says fondly, laying a hand upon Enjolras’. “None of us would truly ever presume you did not.” At Enjolras’ raised eyebrows, Combeferre sighs. “Yes, Enjolras, even him. For all his talk and his… extravagancies, Grantaire knows you have as much heart as the rest of us. I dare say if you were to ask him he would claim you have more, even.” At this, Enjolras shakes his head lightly; he does not want to think of Grantaire and his inconsistencies right now, it gives him a headache.
Combeferre edges his chair closer to Enjolras, studying his expression. It is not often that he cannot look at Enjolras’ face and understand exactly what his friend is feeling- thinking, even- but now Enjolras appears as unreadable to him as a book written in a foreign tongue. Combeferre has seen this expression before, however- it is the look most often found upon his face after an unbidden passion has taken hold and driven him to spontaneous oration. Combeferre is not used to seeing Enjolras so deeply and distantly contemplative when it is simply the two of them, and he half-wonders if he ought to shake the man awake, out of the depths he has fallen into within his own mind.
He does not. Eventually, Enjolras’ eyes meet his, preceding a question. “And what of Eros? Romantic love?” he asks, quiet. “I think I’d be capable of that, if our fight for a Republic didn’t require the opposite.”
Combeferre feels as though he has been thrown off balance; never has Enjolras expressed in himself a desire for romance, nor a particular tolerance for it. Combeferre never would have dreamed that these thoughts had been the product of Enjolras’ mind, for his friend seemed so disinclined towards any type of romantic endeavour that Combeferre had considered him completely adverse to such things.
“I… do not think you’d be incapable, no,” Combeferre says after some time, choosing his words carefully. “And as much as I wish it were not so, I understand your reservations. But were we not in agreement, earlier, when discussing the Pontmercy boy? I thought you agreed with me that love and liberty need not be separate endeavours.”
“Perhaps,” Enjolras says evenly. “Although I find myself compromised in that they must not be separated at all. Understand, Combeferre, that I have wholly devoted myself to our cause, not from abnegation to an ideal but in allegiance with one. I do not reject love but use it. As such, I feel it would be improper for me to also give myself so wholly to another, knowing that I do not have my whole self with which to do so.”
Enjolras does not break eye contact with Combeferre as he speaks, bowing his head slightly as he finishes. The words are significant, and they settle heavily in Combeferre’s mind.
He understands Enjolras’ words for what they are: an explanation. Not an apology, because Combeferre would never ask him to apologise for this, and Enjolras must know that. All the same, there is a certain pain said to take place within the heart in times such as these, and Combeferre felt it most ardently as Enjolras spoke.
“You need not explain yourself to me, my friend.”
Enjolras looks up abruptly; a solemn shake of his head all the disagreement he offers. Impulsively, Combeferre takes his hand, allowing the pen to fall to the table as Enjolras’ grip on it slackens.
Combeferre carefully lifts Enjolras’ hand to meet his face, touching his lips to the other man’s knuckles slowly and reverently. Enjolras holds his gaze. Combeferre does not expect the gesture to be returned so he is without disappointment when Enjolras doesn’t move to reciprocate.
Just as Combeferre had understood the meaning behind Enjolras’ words, Enjolras understands what Combeferre means to confess through the kiss. He bows his head once more until their foreheads are pressed together. Combeferre brings his other hand up to rest against Enjolras’ cheek, but does not attempt more; he understands that any further advances would not be welcome, even if they may be desired.
If circumstances were other than what they were, Combeferre wouldn’t think twice about pressing his lips to Enjolras’. If their situation were different, Enjolras would happily accept, and perhaps reciprocate. If times were kinder, they could give each other their whole selves, uncompromisingly.
Eventually, Combeferre draws his hand away from Enjolras’ face, and Enjolras leans out of the embrace, gifting Combeferre with a grateful, yet slightly melancholy smile before reclaiming his pen from where it had fallen and continuing with his writings.
Their hands remain joined on the table for the rest of the night.

Lights Will Guide You Home: Chapter V
A/N: my birthday’s in two days, on the fourteenth, so fuck yeah! i would update then, but i’m going to be on a plane for most of my birthday :/ so here’s another update
READ IT HERE ON AO3
previous chapter: xxx
Despite the fact that it was nearing the end of March, a snowstorm took Les Amis by surprise on the day they were going to accompany Éponine and Enjolras to pick out clothes for the wedding, and all of them were freezing their asses off once they had met up in front of the multi-level wedding boutique Enjolras had booked appointments at. Once Joly, Musichetta, and Bossuet had arrived, Éponine was quick to rush inside, desperate to get out of the freezing cold. Without another word, she whisked Musichetta, Cosette, and Azelma off to the third floor of the boutique, leaving Enjolras there in the lobby with everyone else.
Once his fiancée and the other women had disappeared into an elevator somewhere, Enjolras turned around to face the others, suddenly nervous. This was a huge, massive deal. “So I guess we’ll be looking for tuxedos, then! Shall we establish some rules?”
“Jehan’s not allowed to pick out any of the clothes,” Courfeyrac piped up immediately, earning himself a little “hey!” of protest from the ginger-haired man in question.
“Bahorel gets the final say,” Grantaire added.
The look on Enjolras’ face was quick to turn incredulous. “Why is he getting the final say? I’m the one getting married.”
“No offence, Enj, you’ve got excellent taste, but it’s just not as good as Bahorel’s,” Feuilly told him, apologetic.
“You don’t get a say in this, you’re dating him,” Enjolras retorted a little too snippily.
“He’s right, though,” Combeferre chimed in, walking over to stand beside Enjolras and place a calming hand on the golden-haired man’s shoulder. “How about this—what if you get the final say but Bahorel has to approve of it first?”
“It’s really fucking hilarious to hear you guys arguing about me, honestly,” Bahorel drawled from beside Feuilly, arms crossed across his chest and a smug smirk on his face. “It’s kind of flattering.”
“Okay, fine,” Enjolras relented, unable to keep himself from petulantly glowering at all of them. He didn’t want to admit it out loud, but he supposed having Bahorel’s input would prove to be valuable, especially since he was the best dressed out of all of them, always looking so effortlessly fashionable with everything he wore. If Bahorel approved of what Enjolras picked out, then Éponine was sure to love it. “Can we just look for clothes already?”
One of the shop employees escorted them off to an area absolutely bursting at the seams with tuxedos of all different kinds, Enjolras feeling as if they were being swallowed by the place as most of the others went to sit down on the couches provided. How the fuck was he supposed to choose between all of these different choices? He’d never been too indecisive of a person, but in that moment, he was completely overwhelmed by the choice he probably had to make in the span of two hours.
Enjolras, unsure of what to do, followed his instincts and went over to one of the racks to pull off a tuxedo made of red velvet in his size, but before he could go and try it on in one of the dressing rooms, Bahorel immediately declared, “No. Fuck no.”
“What’s wrong with this one?” Enjolras asked in confusion, completely at a loss.
“It’s hideous, for one,” Bahorel replied scathingly, eyeing the tuxedo as if it had insulted him personally and spat in his face. “You are not getting married in that. It’s ugly as sin.”
Enjolras sighed and rolled his eyes, putting it back on the rack. He grabbed a different tuxedo off the rack, and so it began.
Meanwhile, Azelma, Musichetta, and Cosette were comfortably seated on a plush sofa on the third floor of the boutique as Éponine spoke enthusiastically with the consultant, Anya, a bright-eyed young woman about their age who bore a striking resemblance to Musichetta. “What kind of dress would you like, ma’am?” Anya questioned, a sunny smile spreading across her face.
“Just Éponine is fine,” Éponine replied, rather flustered. Instinctively, her hand went to her locket to fidget with it as she tended to do whenever she got nervous. “I… I’m not really sure, now that I think of it. I’ve been looking at some wedding dresses online, I think I have a bit of a vague idea of what I want.” Thinking back to the dresses that had tickled her fancy, Éponine amended, “Actually, all I know is that I want sleeves with my dress. Like, long sleeves. Either lace or appliqué.”
“Well, we’ll start with that, then!” Anya said brightly, leading Éponine off to look at billions of dresses. Éponine felt like she might faint at the sight of them all. How the fuck was she supposed to choose?
After ten minutes of browsing the racks, Éponine picked out a long-sleeved off-the-shoulder gown with a sweetheart neckline and a layered skirt of tulle, the skirt tapering away into a magnificent chapel train. When she came out of the dressing room to show her bridesmaids the dress, Azelma immediately nodded yes, giving her sister a double thumbs up. Musichetta and Cosette, however, weren’t as easily convinced.
“I don’t know…” Musichetta’s voice trailed off as she pursed her lips at the dress.
“It’s not really you,” Cosette told her gently, giving her an encouraging smile when Éponine’s face fell. “Eppy, it’s okay, you’ll go through a lot of dresses before you find the perfect one. That was the case for me.”
Éponine mustered a wan smile at her friend, though inside, she was rather horrified at the thought of trying on a gazillion more dresses before she settled for the perfect one. Turning back to the small consultant, she asked, “Anya, if you may?”
The next dress Éponine tried on wasn’t quite as extravagant as the previous one—this one had appliqué sleeves instead of lace, with a sheer overlay and a strapless undershirt with a sweetheart neckline attached to the tulle skirt, which had a sweep train. Éponine tried not to frown to herself as she exited the dressing room to show the others, finding the sleeves itchy and bothersome. The three women immediately shook their heads simultaneously upon seeing Éponine in the dress.
“Hell no,” Azelma said, making a face.
“Nope,” Musichetta echoed.
“No,” Cosette added.
Éponine sighed and went back with Anya, picking out another dress to try on. Only two dresses in and she was already tired.
Well, she supposed that was what came with having a big white wedding. She did want to look her best on what was going to be one of the happiest days of her life, the other day being when Victoire was born.
This time, she was going to rule out appliqué sleeves; they were much too itchy and she refused to be uncomfortable all day on her wedding day. With Anya’s help, she took off the previous dress and slipped into the next one, observing herself in the mirror—it was much like the previous one with the white sweetheart-neckline undershirt, but the overlay had a boat neck and the lace sleeves reached her wrists, the cinched waist flowing into a lovely taffeta skirt that tapered off into a luxurious chapel train. When she came out to show the others, their reactions were mixed.
“We’re getting closer!” Cosette told her encouragingly, a bright smile on her face.
“Not this one, but like Cosette said, we’re getting closer,” Azelma chimed in, smiling at her sister.
After what felt like a million dresses later—in reality it was only about seventeen—Éponine found herself in a dress that she realised she never wanted to take off, observing herself in the mirror and feeling like she could cry at the sight of herself. Anya was beside her in the dressing room, beaming at Éponine through the mirror as the two of them stood there in the dressing room, Éponine transfixed by how she looked in the dress. It didn’t only just look nice either; it was comfortable as well, and she absolutely adored how she looked in it.
She knew this was the dress she would pick had she gone shopping alone, but still, she needed the others’ input, needing to see if this really was the perfect dress. When she went out of the dressing room to show Azelma, Musichetta, and Cosette, their jaws all dropped in tandem.
“Yes,” Azelma declared without hesitation.
Cosette’s entire face lit up as she squealed, “Eppy, this is it!”
Éponine’s eyes lit up, as did her entire face, hopeful. “Really?”
“Yes, definitely,” Musichetta confirmed, feeling tears beginning to sting her eyes at the sight of one of her best friends in the dress. “It’s perfect.”
Éponine felt like she could cry, having finally found the perfect dress, and she turned back to Anya with a watery smile on her face. “This is the one.”
“No.”
“Are you seriously thinking about getting married in that monstrosity?!”
“What are you, straight?”
“I know I have bad taste, but even I can tell that that’s terrible.”
“We’re all going to be wearing matching tuxes, right? There’s no fucking way I’m wearing that. It’s atrocious.”
Enjolras groaned and stepped back into the dressing room after the cutting remarks he had received from the other men, ready to take off this tux and start all over again. This was the twenty-second one he had tried on and the others still weren’t satisfied, frequently insulting his choices and telling him to try on another one. He was beginning to wonder if they were just pulling his leg, trying to see which one of them could push him to his breaking point, as he pulled off this tux to put on another one. Then again, he had chosen to try on a tux in a hideous shade of vomit-green, so he supposed the others’ reactions were more than justified. They didn’t have to be so mean about it, though.
His previous choices had been a whole variety of velvet, wool, satin, and God knows what else, the colours ranging from firetruck red to midnight blue. They had all been rejected by the others, though in hindsight, Enjolras supposed his choices so far have been… questionable, to say the least, so he was determined to stick to the sensible-looking clothes Combeferre had helped him pick out. This particular tuxedo was made of pitch-black wool with silk-satin peak lapels and silk-covered buttons along with a satin leg stripe, a wine-red vest underneath along with a matching bowtie. He liked how he looked in this one—now if only the others would approve of it.
Holding his breath in anticipation, he stepped out of the dressing room.
To his shock, everyone else’s mouths fell open, almost simultaneously.
“Finally, something that isn’t fucking grotesque.” Bahorel clicked his tongue before his contemplative frown morphed into a grin and he nodded. “That’s it.”
Enjolras’ blue eyes widened in surprise. “Really?”
“Yep,” Feuilly piped up. “We really can’t argue against this one. It suits you.”
“Finally,” Enjolras huffed, feeling as if a massive weight had been lifted off his shoulders at finally finding the right tux, looking back at himself in the mirror to make sure it really did look okay. It looked more than okay, actually—it was perfect. This was the one.
After placing the order, making a deposit, and scheduling his first fitting, Enjolras was all too glad to get out of that stuffy area of the boutique and meet Éponine and the other women back in the lobby. His entire face lit up upon seeing Éponine again, immediately making his way over to her as she grinned the moment her eyes found his. She linked her arm with his as the others traipsed out of the boutique and into the snow, the two of them close behind.
“Did you find a dress?” Enjolras asked quietly once they had parted ways with the others, bidding them goodbye. Snow was lazily drifting down towards the ground, falling sporadically and dusting Éponine’s brown newsboy cap white as they walked towards the subway together, arm in arm.
Éponine looked up to smile mysteriously at him. “Yep.”
She said nothing else on the matter, the two of them walking down the steps and descending onto the subway platform to stand there, waiting for their train to come by. “We’ll probably have a warmer autumn season, with this snowstorm we just got this morning,” Éponine mused as she swayed slightly from side to side, humming to herself.
“Well, that’s good, right? We won’t be too chilly on our wedding day.” Enjolras unlinked his arm from hers to put it around her shoulders, pulling her close and turning his head to press a kiss to the top of her head. “Less than eight months to go, my love.”
“Still feels like such a long time,” Éponine mumbled, laying her head on his shoulder as their train arrived, zooming past and screeching to a halt. “I just wanna marry you already.”
“So do I,” Enjolras murmured in reply as the train doors slid open and people began pouring out before they could step inside, “but I promise we’ll be getting married before we know it. Patience, ’Ponine.”
Once they had found seats near the end of their train car, Éponine slipped her hand into his and laced their fingers together, giving his hand a squeeze. “I’m going to be Mrs. Enjolras,” she giddily thought out loud, laying her head on his shoulder once again.
“You’re taking my name?” Enjolras asked, hints of surprise showing through in his voice.
“Of course I am.” Éponine lifted her head briefly to press a kiss to his cheek. “I’ve wanted to get rid of the name Thénardier for a long time now. This is literally the perfect opportunity.”
They spent the rest of the train ride in comfortable silence, the sun having gone down by the time they got home. The lights in their apartment were on, alerting them that Angela and Victoire had come back from their day out, and once Éponine and Enjolras had trudged up the steps and opened the door, Victoire came running towards them as fast as she could, launching herself into Éponine’s arms and nearly knocking the young woman off her feet. “Mommy!”
Éponine steadied herself, holding Victoire in her arms and laughing as the little girl carefully brushed some melting snow off her mother’s shoulders. “Hi, Peanut! How was your day with Nana?”
Victoire babbled excitedly in response as Éponine took off her cap and kicked her boots off, waiting until Enjolras had taken off his boots and his coat before passing Victoire to him so she could do the same with her own coat. Angela approached them from the living room, a little smile on her face as Éponine took her coat off and hung it up, leaving her in just one of Enjolras’ hoodies, skinny jeans, and fuzzy socks.
“How did everything go? Did you find a dress, Éponine?” Angela asked in interest as they walked back into the living room together, Victoire tugging on Enjolras’ curls and laughing to herself as he restrained himself from grimacing.
“Yes, I did,” Éponine replied happily, sitting down on the sofa as Enjolras sat down beside her with Victoire in his lap, Angela taking a seat in a nearby armchair. “Signed the contract and put down a deposit and everything. The boutique says my dress will arrive in sixteen weeks and they’ll call me when it comes in.”
“Oh, that’s good!” Angela beamed, clapping her hands together. “What about you, Gabriel?” she asked, turning her attention to her son, who was rather occupied at the moment with trying to pry Victoire off of him, her chubby fingers tangled in his hair.
“I found a tuxedo,” Enjolras told his mother. “I made a deposit and scheduled my first fitting.” Wincing when Victoire’s fingers grasped his hair a little too tightly for his liking, he told Angela, “Thanks for taking care of Victoire for the day, Mother. We really appreciate it.”
“Oh, it was my pleasure,” Angela assured him and Éponine. “I love spending time with my granddaughter.” Standing up, she announced, “Well, I guess I’ll get going, then! Call me whenever you need me, okay? Anytime at all.”
“Sure thing,” Éponine replied as Angela took her coat off the hanger and pulled it on before she exited the apartment with one final goodbye, leaving the little family alone. Victoire had finally stopped pulling at Enjolras’ hair, simply contenting herself to curl up in her father’s lap and coo softly. Éponine thought it almost sounded like the little girl was singing.
“So what kind of music do you want at the wedding?” Éponine questioned. Enjolras looked up at her; up until that point, he had been gazing down at Victoire, gently bouncing her up and down in his lap and stroking her golden hair as she curled up in his arms. When he gave his fiancée a questioning look, Éponine explained, “I figured we should start planning it out. Make a playlist and sh—” She quickly cut herself off, remembering that Victoire was right there, still very much awake (though it seemed she would be falling asleep soon). Recovering, Éponine continued, “Anyway, we should probably decide on what the song for our first dance is going to be at one point.”
“I don’t really want the reception to be a dance party, but that’s all I know,” Enjolras replied, uncertain. “I have no idea what the music should be. Should we leave it up to Jehan?”
Éponine shrugged noncommittally. “He already gave me a whole playlist of songs to choose from for our first dance, let’s start with that. I don’t want the reception to be a dance party either.”
Victoire let out a huge yawn, one that could rival those of Toby the Yorkie, and she reached towards Éponine. “Mommy…”
Éponine lifted Victoire out of Enjolras’ lap and into her own, holding the little girl in her arms as her eyelids began to droop. “Mommy, Mommy,” Victoire mumbled as Éponine gently rocked her back and forth the way she used to do when Victoire was an infant.
“What is it, Vicky?” Éponine asked lightly, pressing a kiss to the top of her daughter’s forehead.
Victoire said nothing, beginning to be lulled to sleep as Éponine rocked her back and forth, eyelids drooping. Éponine scooted closer to Enjolras, curling into him and laying her head on his shoulder as Victoire slowly fell asleep in her arms. Éponine smiled when she felt Enjolras’ lips brush the top of her head as he put an arm around her, the two of them just sitting there on the living room sofa together with their daughter.
Éponine began to softly sing to Victoire as the toddler began to nod off, her little eyelids growing heavier by the moment. Enjolras couldn’t help but smile at the sound of Éponine softly singing “Here Comes the Sun” to their daughter, gently rocking her to sleep, and he pressed another kiss to the top of Éponine’s head. “I love you,” he murmured, eliciting a little smile from her.
She paused mid-song to whisper in response, “I love you, too.”
After a while, Victoire was fully asleep, and Enjolras picked her up out of Éponine’s lap as he stood up. “I’ll go put her to bed,” he told her, his voice soft so not to wake up their daughter. Éponine nodded, staying seated on the sofa and pulling out her phone to scroll through the seemingly endless playlist of first-dance songs Jehan had made for her on Spotify, her brow furrowing at the sheer amount of songs she and Enjolras were expected to choose from. Plugging her earbuds in, she put the playlist on shuffle, pursing her lips as she began to listen to the first song that came up. Enjolras returned shortly after to find Éponine sitting cross-legged on the sofa, a contemplative look on her face with earbuds plugged into her ears.
Going over to sit down next to her, he motioned for her to take one earbud out. When she did so, Enjolras asked quietly, “What are you listening to?”
Éponine handed him the earbud she had taken out so they could sit together and listen. “The playlist Jehan made for us. Just so we can get ideas of what we like. Who knows? Maybe we’ll agree on a song.”
Enjolras listened along with her, though his eyes widened in shock at the sight of how many songs had been put on that playlist. “Are we really expected to choose from over three hundred songs?” he asked in alarm, looking at Éponine.
“’Jolras, calm down, we still have a little over seven months to choose,” Éponine reassured him, pressing a kiss to her fiancé’s cheek. “We’ll be fine. We’ll find a song we both love and that’ll be our song.”
Enjolras smiled at her words as she laid her head on his shoulder, curling into him and feeling his arm snake around her shoulders. He pressed a kiss to the top of her head as they both listened to “From This Moment On”, murmuring nearly inaudibly to her, “I love you, ’Ponine. So much.”
“I love you so much too,” Éponine replied softly.
The two of them didn’t end up getting through most of the playlist, falling asleep together on the sofa five songs in.

Misconceptions Pt 2
Tumblr media
Pairing: Courfeyrac x Reader
Summary: The second part to this imagine
Requested: Yeah!
My hands were tangled in Courfeyrac’s curls as he pressed our lips together, kissing me intensely. My back was pressed against the wall and his hands run up and down my back, occasionally stopping to rub circles into my skin in a way that made me gasp and want to pull him even closer.
It had been a couple of months since that day at the Musain and we had told very few people about us, concerned about how Enjolras would respond to our relationship. Bahorel knew, as he was like a brother to me and had promised to keep it a secret, and Combeferre knew, because he had caught us out together one day. Marius also knew about us, seeing as though he lived with Courfeyrac, however, he too had promised to not say a word to my brother.
While I wanted to tell Grantaire, as the guy had been there for me more times than I can count, Courfeyrac pointed out that the drunkard can’t keep anything from his boyfriend, and the two of us wanted to let it happen for a little while before telling Enjolras.
Courfeyrac broke away from the kiss and rested his forehead against mine, a large grin on his face.
“I need to tell you something,“ he says, quickly stealing another peck from my lips.
“What is it?“ I ask, playing with one of his curls between my fingers.
“It’s something I’ve thought for a while now,“ he admits, ducking his head down in a shy way that I had never seen him do before.
“What is it?“ I repeat gently.
“I think that I’m in love with you,“ he says slowly.
“You what?“
“I think that I’m in love with you,“ he repeats, sounding more sure of himself than the last time. A slow smile spreads across my face.
“I love you too, Courf,“ I tell him and he looks at me, an adoring smile covering the entire of his mischievous face.
“Really?” He asks and I can almost feel the joy radiating off of him.
“Really,” I confirm before standing on my toes and kissing him again.
“I’m glad that you and Courfeyrac are getting along now,” my brother tells me as I wash up the dishes we used at dinner. I try to hide my blush at the sound of his name.
“Yeah, me too. Courf’s lovely,” I agree and Enjolras nods in approval.
“He is, so lovely, in fact,” Enjolras begins, “that, according to Bossuet, he’s been out with some girl.” My hands freeze in place. We didn’t tell Bossuet.
“Oh yeah?” I question, my voice comes out an octave higher than normal and my brother makes a noise in confirmation.  “I thought that you weren’t interested in gossip,“ I state, my hands slowly coming back to life and I begin to wash the plate again.
“I’m not. I just never took Courfeyrac as the type of guy to settle down so early,“ Enjolras tells me as Combeferre walks into the room.
“What’s this about Courfeyrac settling down?“ He asks, taking a plate from my hand and starting to dry it, shooting me a questioning look but I shake my head.
“According to Bossuet Courf is seeing some girl,“ I pass the news on to Combeferre, feigning ignorance.
“Oh really?“ Combeferre says, also pretending not to know anything about Courfeyrac and I.
“Did Bossuet say anything else?“ I ask the blonde boy.
“Apparently he overheard him talking to Bahorel. He said that he thinks that he’s in love with this girl. That she’s the most amazing girl he’s ever met,“ Combeferre smiles at me as a blush covers my cheeks.
“That’s sweet,“ I coo and Enjolras shrugs.
“I just hope that she doesn’t lead him away from our cause. Women can be such distractions.“ I scowl at my brother. “You know it’s true, Y/N. They’re just... not as strong willed as men are, they just serve their purpose of helping around the house and then ought to make themselves scarce whilst the men change the world,”
“Well in that case seeing as though the dishes are done, I suppose that I won’t be hanging around any longer,“ I spit the words out, passing the final plate to Combeferre to dry before storming out of the room.
“Y/N! Wait! I didn’t mean that!” My brother calls after me but I don’t wait for him to explain. I simply grab my shawl and leave, making sure to slam the door behind me.
I make my way to Courfeyrac’s house, walking angrily through the streets until I found the familiar door to his building. The front woman greeted me kindly, and told me to go straight out, recognising me from the numerous visits that I had made to Courfeyrac.
I knock on his door and a few seconds later it opens to reveal him. Even just the sight of him made my anger begin to seep away as I took in his unruly hair and ruffled appearance. As he saw me, a beaming smile emerged onto his face, one that I had to return before flinging myself into his arms.
“Hello, love,“ he whispered into my ear, combing his hand through my hair as he hugged me tight.
“Hey Courf,“ I respond, looking up at him in the eyes. He grinned down and pecked me gently on the lips before moving away from the door, allowing me to come in.
“Who was it, Courfeyrac?“ Marius asks.
“Y/N,“ Courfeyrac calls back as I discard my shawl on the back of a chair and follow him into his room. “What are you doing here, love?” He asks as we sit on his bed and he takes my small hands into his large ones, smiling serenely at me. “Not that I don’t love to see you, but you’ve never come over this late before. You didn’t come alone, did you?” Courfeyrac asks, concern dominating his beautiful features.
“I only live a couple of streets away, Courf, it was fine,“ I assure him and he sighs, bringing one of my hands up to his lips and pressing a gentle kiss to it.
“I love you,“ he tells me.
“I love you too,“
“Now what happened?” I sigh and begin to explain.
“And I just didn’t want to stay there tonight!“ I finish my explanation and Courfeyrac nods again.
“Well you’re always welcome here, my love,“ he says and I smile at his heartwarming words.
“Thanks, Courf,“ Courfeyrac kisses my forehead in response to my thanks. He stands up and walks over to his wardrobe, pulling out his old shirt that I often wore when we were just hanging around in his house.
“Here, you can wear this as a nightshirt,“ I smile and nod at him before he leaves the room to give me some privacy to change in. When I finish changing I go out into the hall again and walk past Marius’ room.
“Hey Y/N,“ he says from inside the open doorway.
“Hi Marius,“ I return, pausing outside of his room.
“How are you?“
“Alright thanks, and yourself?“
“Good thank you, Mademoiselle,“
“And how is that girl of yours?“
“She is wonderful, Y/N!“ Marius tells me enthusiastically and I chuckle lightly, just as Courfeyrac comes up behind me and puts his arms around my waist, resting his chin on the top of my head. He too was changed into his nightwear.
“I’m glad to hear it,“ and Marius nods at me.
“I’m seeing her tomorrow,“ he informs me and I smile at him.
“I hope it goes well,“
“Thank you, Mademoiselle,“
And with that, Courfeyrac pulls me away from his roommates room and back into his.
The two of us lie in his bed together, me wrapped up in his arms, feeling the comfort of him drawing shapes into the bare skin of my shoulder as we talked about nothing.
“I can’t believe Bossuet found out,“ Courfeyrac finally admits and I nod.
“I know what you mean, Courf, do you think we ought to tell everyone?“ Courfeyrac gives me a gentle smile.
“I’ve wanted to shout it from the rooftops from the moment you first said yes, but I’m willing to keep it a secret for as long as you want it to be one,“
“How haven’t you had more relationships?“ I ask him, feeling the blush coming on from his statement.
“Because never before had I found someone who I wanted to spend this much time with,“
“I love you,“
“I love you more,“
The two of us are torn out of our peaceful little bubble by an obnoxiously loud knocking on the front door. Courfeyrac groans.
“I don’t want to get up,“ he says to me and I laugh, kissing his nose before throwing the covers off of the two of us.
“Come on, Courf,“ I say, offering my hand. He sighs but takes my hand and pulls himself up from the bed.
“Fine, but you have to come with me,“ he tells me and throws me over his shoulder. I laugh and hit his back with my hands.
“Put me down, Courf!“ I squeal and he starts to laugh as he walks down the hall towards the door.
“But I’ve got such a nice view from here,“ Courfeyrac argues and I gasp, hitting his back again.
“How dare you,“ I say, but I’m grinning widely at his antics.
Before he opens the door he puts me back on the ground but keeps me close to his body with an arm wrapped around my waist.
“Good evening!“ Courfeyrac chirps before he even looked at who it was. My eyes went wide at the sight of my brother, staring at Courfeyrac’s arm in horror.
“You’re the girl,“ Enjolras whispers, looking up at me.
“Enj, I can explain,“ I try to tell him, moving away from Courfeyrac’s arm.
“How long has this been going on?“ my brother demands, moving away from me, still in the doorway.
“A couple of months?“ I say, but it comes out as more of a question, worried about what he would say.
“Months?“ Enjolras questions, horrified. “Who knew about it?“
“Not many people,“ Courfeyrac rushes to assure him, “we wanted to find ourselves before we announced it,“ Courfeyrac is quietened by a harsh glare from my older brother.
“He’s right, Enj, we didn’t want everyone to know, we just wanted to make sure that it would work out first,“ I tell him and Enjolras looks between the two of us.
“And will it?“ The question hangs in the air and I look at Courfeyrac, unsure of how to reply to the question. Courfeyrac looks at me and I can see the adoration in his eyes.
“I’m in love with your sister, Enjolras, completely and utterly,“ Courfeyrac tells my brother, but his gaze doesn’t waver from me, “and I think that she feels the same way,“
“I do,“ I rush to cut in and Courfeyrac’s token smile returns. He threads our fingers together.
“So it will,“ Enjolras answers his own question slowly, as though he’s unsure of how to feel about it.
“I hope so,“ Courfeyrac tells him, finally breaking our gaze to look at the boy in red again. “If you permit it,“
Enjolras looks at us in silence for a couple of minutes, all the while I feel the panic beginning to grow inside of me. I want Enjolras to approve of Courfeyrac, I can’t live without either of them in my life. Enjolras was the most important person to me up until a couple of months ago, when that place began to widen to contain Courfeyrac too.
“I permit it,“ he finally says, looking defeated. With that I am quick to embrace my brother, who hugs me back.
“Thank you, Enjolras, I promise that I won’t hurt her,“ the two men shake hands and Enjolras nods.
“I know that you won’t. But who did know?“
“Only Marius, Bahorel and Ferre,“ I tell my brother, grinning.
“Ferre knew?!“ He asks, outraged. “I need to go and talk to him,“ he scowls, turning and stalking downstairs again, out of our sight. The door closes and I turn to look at Courfeyrac, the smile on my face growing even more at the joyus expression on his.
“I guess we didn’t get much of a choice then,“
“I love you, you idiot,“ I tell him, closing the gap between us and pressing a kiss to his lips.
“I love you too,“ he says, a smirk on his face before he kisses my forehead, wrapping his arms around me in a warm and loving embrace.
I HOPE THAT THIS PART TWO WAS OKAY!

I’ve decided to give some more context
If I feel like it I might post one of the fics
⚠️TW: child abuse, a shove relationships, gun violence, murder (attempted), drunkness, homophobia and transphobia⚠️
Number one takes place when the Amis and Co. are in high school and they attend a party. Cosette eventually calls her dads to pick them all up after the cops were called and they met up in a restaurant parking lot. Well it turns out someone at the party spiked the punch and Marius was the only one who didn’t know. Long story short, he ended up drunk out of his mind and Valjean had to physically wrestle him into the car to go home
Number two: Grantaire’s possessive and borderline abusive ex decides to harass him in front of the Musian one morning. At one point, he shoved him. The moment he does, Jehan (who was watching the whole thing from the upstairs window) comes running down the stairs with a knife and chased the guy away
Number three: this really doesn’t need an explanation but basically they were bored and drunk
Number four: Feuilly and Jehan were doing indoor parkour and Jehan accidentally landed on a chair that was already breaking
Number five: Grantaire and Enjolras are about to move in together so Taire goes to his house to get some things. While there, his bio dad starts making homophobic and transphobic remarks. Eventually, R calls Enj because his dad won’t stop and he’s worried it’s going to get physically. Well it turns out that Enjolras was with the Amis and Co. at Valjean and Javert’s house, so they all head over to defuse the situation. When Grantaire’s dad keeps making the remarks (at one point toward Javert), Vert insists that they fight it out. Grantaire’s dad thinks he’s kidding until he actually punched him. After that Javert pushes him aside and helps Taire pack the rest of his stuff
Number six: Valjean meets Chabouillet for the first time while Javert is talking to Thenardier (disguised as someone else) about something in a separate room. At one point, Valjean realizes that the man is actually Thenardier, and basically grabs Chabouillet’ gun and rushes upstairs (Javert had mentioned that Thenardier had threatened to murder him the last time they saw each other). Sure enough when he goes upstairs, they’re fighting it out. Valjean obviously doesn’t shoot anyone but manages to scare Thenardier away. From that day on, Chabouillet approved of his and Javert’s relationship 100%
Number seven: the Amis and co. decided to do a random roommate swap by pulling names out of a hat and Enjolras was grouped with Musichetta and Cosette. The girls think it’s going to be fun to torture him, until it turns out that HE’S an absolutely horrible roommate in the first place
Number eight: Gillenormand made a acephobic comment to Marius and Cosette punched him square in the jaw
Number nine: Bahorel came home from the bar one night with a live hamster in his hoodie and explained that he lost a bet and as a punishment, the hamster was now his
Number ten: Feuilly and Bahorel somehow managed to break a pipe in their apartment and basically they end up staying over at Javert and Valjean’s at 11:30 PM
Number eleven: the Thenardier’s and the Valjean’s meet up for an “official meeting” dinner after Eponine and Cosette get engaged. Eponine knew that the whole thing would be a disaster, and as soon as the adults start arguing about how the Thenardier’s treat their kids, she just sits back and watches. At one point, Thenardier makes a very rude comment about Cosette, and Javert flips a sheet of brownies into his face
Number twelve: Bossuet somehow managed to light a soap dispenser on fire in one of the school’s bathrooms just by using it. Like he genuinely doesn’t know what he did it just...kinda lit on fire
If y’all are lucky I might post one of these
Hope the extra context didn’t baffle y’all even more!
Things that have happened in Les Mis fics I wrote/am currently writing with little to no context:
Valjean has to chase a drunk Marius around a parking lot after he refused to get in a car and started yelling profanities
Jehan chases someone with a knife
JBM+R steal a shopping cart
Feuilly and Jehan break a chair doing indoor parkour
Javert fistfights Grantaire’s shit dad
Valjean wielding a gun
Enjolras moves in with Musichetta and Cosette
Cosette punching Marius’ grandfather for being a bitch
Bahorel has a hamster named Sponegbob
Bahorel and Feuilly crash at Javert and Valjean’s house after their apartment flooded
Javert throws a sheet of brownies at Thenardier
Bossuet somehow lights the soap dispenser in the school bathroom on fire

Noteworthy progress of blockchain games in March: Enjin, Decentraland, The Sandbox, etc.
Enjin Ecological several games released public beta, Somium Space VR and The Sandbox held a property auction. Original title: "First Class Regular Report: Summary of Main Games Progress in March"
Tumblr media
The field of blockchain games continues to build up. Although the amount of gaming blockchain games nevertheless ranks first, the general tendency has exceeded. The overall game industry provides brand-new pursuits and styles. Projects and gamers increasingly worth the playability and Sustainable development of the blockchain industry. The auction of property and real estate in virtual reality games is definitely a spot in blockchain games, and your competition is becoming increasingly fierce. In March, several virtual reality games began the Nth circular of property auctions to share the remaining cakes. For information, please start to see the breakdown below. Project progress is normally sorted in order of rank, and the rank is based on information from the Coinmarketcap web site as of March 31, 2020. Enjin Coin (ENJ), #733 Monthly progress Enjin multiverse solitary player science fiction adventure game "Age of Corrosion" will undoubtedly be released in beta this month; "Hunters of Rio" has started public beta; "9 Lifestyles Arena" upgrade 0.4 Version and integrated Enjin wallet; "Dissolution Sport" has been released on Steam, but only supports single participant mode. Enjin Platform users used 300,000 ENJs to forge an NFT on March 9th. The NFT may be used to buy tickets to Mars on SpaceX.
Views In February, Enjin Platform went go on the mainnet, and folks can build NFTs or projects. Since forged NFTs could be reduced to ENJ tokens, lots of people start to use ENJ tokens to forge NFTs for enjoyment purposes. Before, someone forged an NFT called "Being a King is an excellent Issue", costing 1,155,777.1 ENJs. With the start of Enjin Platform, the development of NFTs is becoming more diverse. Both games "Age of Rust" and "Dissolution Game" provide various scenarios to enrich an individual experience and fulfill the tastes of various players. They're both popular games in the Enjin ecosystem. The popularity of "9 Lifestyles Arena" is also rated in the forefront of blockchain games. The integration of Enjin wallet makes it easier for users to enter the game. If these games can bring in a lot of new users, as the game property in the Enjin multiverse have got cross-game attributes, some other games in the ecosystem may also benefit from this network effect and get fresh blood. In April, it is prepared that the Enjin team will continue its development work. The main contents consist of upgrading the Enjin wallet and updating the Godot SDK and Java SDK. "Dissolution Game" continues to be quite a distance from the conceived MMO setting. The game group will continue to develop the game, fix bugs, and improve the user experience. Other games in the multiverse ecosystem will still be developed. Decentraland (MANA), #1013 Progress in month Since Decentraland has been opened on February 20th, many reviewers said that the project was tough and there have been many bugs, that was definately not the vision. As often, the official continues to be doing development function within an orderly manner, adding a search function in the market. The community is also actively building, which includes DCL Plazas hosting an art festival, Decentral Games creating a chess picture, and hosting competitions. The areas in the digital world are steadily opening up. The ecological surrounding project Chain Breakers has undergone major changes, that is one of the largest game projects in the Decentraland ecosystem. The overall game faced financing issues and development bottlenecks at the same time, and finally made a decision to auction the game copyright on March 30.
I think the group spent considerable time refactoring the SDK in the first three years of development. Although there are delivery tasks, several basic functions aren't yet perfect. Currently, it can only end up being browsed through the net, and the loading period is lengthy. The state roadmap jobs are too detailed and there is no clear delivery period. It is expected that it will require quite a long time to full the basic functions. Based on the DCL blogger, Decentraland is currently creating a standalone desktop computer client. For games like Decentraland that are less aggressive and tend to be casual, mobile is even more needed. Because the mobile terminal allows gamers to utilize fragmented time, boost online length, broaden the viewers, and attract lighting users. Team development content must be more in line with market needs. In addition, several users stopped accessing the game following the event day, and the number of every day active users fell to about 10% of the open event. This implies that DCL isn't enough to depend on the community to build an interior ecosystem. The stagnant development of the game Chain Breakers furthermore demands DCL to get new ways to enrich the ecology. Based on the program code submission plan within April, the team's recent function targets improving Decentraland Explorer. Based on the roadmap, the functions that require to be delivered in the near future consist of: redesigning the official website; using various colors to tag the brands of others; including street names; improving the map to a navigational map; using the map for location move; the builder can team and operate components. Somium Space VR (CUBE), #Zero ranking in March. Improvement in March Somium Space released Somium 2.0 on February 20th, and began the second property auction on March 19th, making use of Dutch auctions, auctioning 25 weekly Lots, the auction lasts 10 weeks, a total of 250 a lot. The common price of property auctioned in the first week was 4.4 ETH. Somium Space's scalability solution originally used Loom's side chain technology, however now it has switched to Matic technology. First Class Encyclopedia: Dutch auction, also called "reduced price auction", is really a special kind of auction. The bidding price of the auction focus on decreases from high to low before first bidder responds. If the first person hasn't completed bidding all the objects, the remaining objects will still be auctioned at a lower life expectancy price until all the objects are sold. Ultimately, all the targets are sold at the cheapest price.
Watch Somium Space's general progress is slow. The overall game calls for the realization of a 3D digital globe as its vision, and uses "cultural platforms" and VR as its primary selling points. Nevertheless, a lot of people currently don't have VR devices, and the game experience cannot be when compared to same kind of centralized games. Therefore, both of these selling points are hard to attract a lot of new users and investors. Aside from the property auction planned in April, the group hasn't announced other programs yet. The Sandbox (SAND, not yet released) March progress. The Sandbox completed the next round of property auctions in February, and made a decision to start the 3rd round of property auctions on March 31, selling 12,384 plots at a 20% low cost. Including 2,538 plots of 1x1 plots, 750 plots of 3x3 plots, 50 plots of 6x6 plots, 5 plots of 12x12 plots, and 1 plot of 24x24 plots. The image below exhibits the partners presently known to participate in the 3rd round of property auctions:
The state VoxEdit Beta version of the editor premiered in February, and a VoxEdit creation contest was held in March. The development content could be changed into ERC-1155 NFT for trading.
In terms of development, five brand-new features this month include: adding coordinates to the land; modifying the logo and title of the real estate; recommending brand-new users through personal links to get certain benefits; adding a profile information column; including a Search engines 3D NFT viewer. In terms of operations, The Sandbox has established a cooperative relationship with the role-playing online game Crypto Sword & Magic and the card online game Neon District, and announced the cooperation with the Ethereum layer-2 expansion solution Matic Network (MATIC) to improve the user's trading experience. The Sandbox furthermore cooperates with the South Korean multi-channel online enjoyment company Sandbox Network, which has the right to create content linked to The Sandbox game. In terms of style, The Sandbox is most like the centralized online game "Minecraft". Since February, it provides cooperated with an increase of than 10 blockchain games. The majority of the integrated games are aggressive, with high confrontation, competitors and high operability, allowing gamers to enter a higher level of flow expertise, which is even more conducive to The Sandbox overcoming common sandbox games that are highly dependent on user creation Pain points of power. In April, the planning team will auction the land as prepared, and much more organizations are expected to join. In the roadmap, the target for the first quarter is: Visual scripting tool Game Maker releases a Beta version to aid editing property. The target for the next quarter would be to release the official version. The visual scripting tool Sport Maker is currently in the Alpha preliminary version, and the group will continue to develop it. Cryptovoxels (zero token) March progress. This month, Cryptovoxels submitted the program code for iOS 1.0 to the App Store. If approved, it is possible to download the iOS version through TestFlight. Apple mobile phone users can access through the mobile terminal. The overall game furthermore released a fresh HTML editing interface, users can more easily build scenes. In addition, developers are trying to integrate PICO-8 games. Recently, the project party auctioned a batch of property. A total of 2,795 plots have been opened.
The opinion is that Cryptovoxels, that is also a virtual reality game, has now implemented basic functions such as for example location transmission and voice chat. In terms of loading speed, the first level of virtual actuality games, Cryptovoxels will take less time and energy to load scenes than Decentraland, and you can enter the digital globe in a few seconds. In recent months, Cryptovoxels land prices have got doubled, and property transactions in recent weeks have also surpassed Decentraland, but there's still a huge gap between the total number of users and active users of the previous and the latter. Generally, the leading position of DCL in digital reality cannot be surpassed in a short time. It is worthy of mentioning that the auction price of Cryptovoxels property is appropriately increased according to the user increment, and Dutch auction is adopted. The benefit of this is that possible users will not be deterred by the high land price, and the first stage is even more friendly to users who desire to become landlords. It is planned in April that project will undoubtedly be mainly produced by the founder by yourself. Based on the news released, the primary tasks in the near future include: if there are more than 100 online users at the same time, even more servers will undoubtedly be began; solving the issue of proxy WebSocket connection interruption. Summary Whether centralized or decentralized, the basic attractiveness of the game is normally: fun. For digital reality games, it isn't more than enough to attract investors to buy property. Improving the game's playability and attracting genuine gamers is the long-phrase survival. In addition, in the field of blockchain games, the top effect nevertheless applies. Even though amount of virtual actuality games is massive, how big is the cake is bound. The first few items attract most users and sources, and only the very best products will undoubtedly be still left. Next, may enter the stage of fierce competitors between virtual actuality games.

Day 9: Cluj-Napoca – Gone Bust
Flash update 4:
This will be the last of my flash updates (which seem to, in some instances, be running as long as normal updates anyway), though don't expect the following two updates to be any more substantial, due to reasons which will become apparent as you read them.
I felt marginally better today, than I had the previous day. The churning in my guts had abated, either through time, rest, or just shitting out the problem, and I felt ready and, dare I say it, even enthusiastic to head out into the city once more to look at stuff and go “ooh”. Oohing, however, was not my only order of the day; I still needed to collect my bus ticket out of this hellhole, as well as the customary Clujian souvenir (Cluj, incidentally, is a horrible name for anything; it sounds vaguely filthy and never not gross. I'm not sure why they don't just drop it from the city's title and just have the name be the far more pleasant sounding “Napoca”).
My day began vaguely disastrously. I had planned to walk up another, different, large hill set relatively close to my apartment, and  had spied, through a precursory stab at google-mapping, what looked like a rather nice park, through which I could walk to get to the base of the big towering bastard. The park was nice for all of about twenty yards, before it began drifting further and further from the idyllic nature laden stroll I had envisaged and slowly turned grey, rusty and mechanical. I was soon walking through a yard full of broken down and disused old busses. Not quite what I had in mind but at least I had nearly broken through to the other side and so, it would soon be over. Or it would have been, rather, had the far gate been open, which it was not. With no other option, short of developing a flea-like ability to jump over the fence which now blocked me, I turned back, set to face another ten minute walk through the automotive graveyard, in order to just get back to where I started. Good.
Once there, I traced the google maps approved route to the base of the hill (as I should have done to begin with; I definitely should have been aware by now that there's apparently literally only one way to get to where you want to go in this city, no matter how clearly it appears there is an alternate route) and began my ascent.
From the distance, I had seen this hill many times before and had assumed, from my fleeting glances that it had a sheer, grey, cliff-like side, through which a path cut, however, as I approached, I realised that had I looked slightly more discerningly, I would have spotted that the grey cliff edge was actually a mess of hundreds and hundreds of tombstones, packed so tightly and so messily as to create some kind of optical illusion of verticality.
Tumblr media
...Oh.
Regardless, I walked up the hill, which, despite not being a terrifying ninety degree trek upwards, was still fairly steep, if a little short. I soon reached the top and, after a few mandatory pictures

cleek.
pushed through to the other side and onto...a dual carriageway, leading out of the city. Great. Why are these things so shockingly difficult to avoid?
I traced the carriageway, exactly as google prescribed, towards old town, planning to plunder, albeit politely (i.e. shop in) the souvenir shops which I had taken note of the previous evening. The one that had most caught my eye was this quirky looking place that sold traditional masquerade masks and ones that were supposed to vaguely look like Dracula (Nearly every shop here seems to sell something Dracula related, as Cluj Is situated in the Transylvania region, though, it should be pointed out, is most likely a ten hour train ride away from Castle Bran.
I had apparently misremembered the location of this shop and found myself crawling around old town looking for it, for the better part of an hour, before realising that my half-hearted aide-memoire, “it's one a straight bit” could easily have applied to the other set of straight bits present in the old town, though situated a little further north-east. Sighing, I headed towards them and very quickly found the shop.
I could not have been more disappointed. The quirkyness of the shop apparently extended literally only as far as those masks and thus, once inside, I was met with a tiny little glass case full of the most boring, tacky little souvenirs I could have imagined. Out of politeness, more than anything, I perused the selection, before, super awkwardly turning to the rather stern lady who ran the place, offering a barely perceptible shrug and shake of the head and just...leaving.
I quickly found another, better souvenir shop, through sheer luck, though annoyingly, left only with a magnet and a rather natty little hand-printed dracula poster, which I had stupidly bought for myself.
Time was pushing on and the bus station to which I needed to travel (amusingly named Autogara Fany) was some distance away. I decided to walk towards it, stopping at any suitable shop I passed on my way there. Of course, I found myself walking alongside a different dual-carriageway for the majority of the distance, and so found no suitable shops. Good. It was getting late now and many of the shops would be closed anyway, so I vowed to just...do that bit of my plan tomorrow, instead.
I thought that I had sort of cracked the whole 'buying tickets' thing. I understood the process well enough to be able to comprehend exactly what was going on at a given point, regardless of language and, failing that, at least had by little translations. Fany bus depot, though, managed to throw me for a loop.
I arrived, first of all, and realised that somehow, despite this being, by far, the most developed town I had thus far found myself in, the station had reverted to, rather than one centralised ticket office, numerous smaller offices, each one specifically dedicated to one particular bus company. I could not find the company representing the bus I had previously selected and so ended up in Fany's offices, asking for a ticket in as loud and clear a voice as I could. As I did, a hush fell over the office, the three women behind the desk became instantly silent. The one I was dealing with arched an eyebrow at me. This lingered for an uncomfortable second, before she turned to her colleagues and, in weirdly secretive, hushed tones, began discussing what I had asked for.
They knew full well what I was asking for, by the way, the language barrier wasn't an issue, as I had shown them the translation on my phone. For some reason, what I had requested, though, required a ludicrous amount of discussion, rather than simply an acceptable amount of printing a ticket.
After so, so long, the woman turned back to me. “SEVENTY FEEV” she snapped. An extra twenty five over what I had expected to pay. I sighed, knowing full well that that extra 25 leu was pretty much what was going to keep me afloat, financially, by the end of the trip and handed it over. I left with my ticket to a bus later than I had initially wanted to catch, which had cost me an extra 50% on top of what I had expected to pay, feeling like a div. All in all, not my favourite experience of the trip.
By now, my feet were aching, and on my left trotter, I could feel emergent blisters, beginning to form, oddly on my toes, rather than the balls of my feet (my theory at this point, is that the lovely warm, thick socks I had been wearing almost exclusively up until this point were made of slightly too rough a fabric for huge amounts of walking) and so I decided to return home. Only a forty five minute walk stood in between me and that.
I limped back to old town and took heart in the fact that I was only around fifteen more minutes away from home and, once there, I could make myself another bowl of that truly glorious pasta dinner I had been enj-ah, shit. I forgot. My last voyage to flavourtown had finished up my remaining peppers and onions. I needed to buy more, if I didn't want to eat just pasta and sauce. I groaned, hung my head for a second and then span on my feet. An action, which, if I'm honest, only exacerbated the blisters.
After another fifteen minute detour and a now twenty minute walk back to the apartment, I was finally home. Ruined. I slumped into bed and after the requisite period of cursing the fact that I was even alive, had recovered enough to make my dinner. I did and it was every bit as glorious as I had hoped. For the second night in a row, I passed out, without fully realising I had even decided to go to bed.

Hello sweet anon!!! im so sorry for the wait!
here it comes the sskk couple!!!
who’s the cuddler:   little bit both. Atshusi especially when he is cold or tired. He loves coming home and just crash on Akutagawa. Back hug or felling on him when he sits on the couth! Akutagawa on the other hand, has a habit to cuddle Atshusi in sleep. Occasionally, he  would wrapped Atshusi with rashomon and bring him close to him after a bad dream or if Atsushi is cold.
who makes the bed: both! It is a competition to be honest. Akutagawa has “manners”, while Atshusi cant let that slide. Tho when in hurry he may not do it well so then Akutagawa would do it after Atshusi is long gone.
who wakes up first: Akutagawa. CANON that he is a light sleeper. Atshusi would wake up after his alaerm clock in panik usually.
who has the weird taste in music: mmm…. Akutagawa… you would think that he listen to classic music but for me I can see him as a my chemical romance  and AC/DCfan. So for Atshusi, he has the weird taste. If you ask Akutagawa, Atshusi has coz he listen to pop.
who is more protective: Both. Akutagawa is afraid that the mafia and his enamies wont approve of his reletionship and came after Atshisi, while Atshusi as the little hero he is, he is always protective towards Akutagawa. Let it be an enemy, Dazai, Akutagawa himself or a dog!!! Also! Since he has bad memories from the orphange he is extra protective!
who sings in the shower: Atshusi! he would bring his home when he showers and duet with the singers. Dont tell anyone but Akutagawa tryed it once..
who cries during movies: Atshusi! He is a pure ball of cuteness and kindness of course he would cry with everything!! Like every movie (except horror) and sometimes at the most random scenes! Do you know the date between McQueen and Sally at the moovie “Cars”? Yeah he cried..
who spends the most while out shopping: Atshusi. he enjoy going shopping, espeacially for food. Usually Kyouka accompany him, but sometimes Akutagawa will tag along  at the super market or to buy something for Gin.
who kisses more roughly: I wouldnt use the word “rough” bbut “tender” and that would be Akutagawa. Poor baby doesnt know how to express his feelings so he use actions. It usually starts like that but quickly it turns sweetelly and Atshusi melts on the spot.
who is more dominate: Akutagawa Ryuunosuke. No words need.

Enjn To Go To $5
In this content, we will be showing you all about Enjin Coin from the day of its inception to the day where it stands now if it is better than the rest in the crypto market, and most importantly, when it will reach 5$! This is Mason from Attain Highly, the channel where you will achieve greatly.
Be sure to like and subscribe, so you won’t miss out on your success. Alright! Without further ado, let’s get right into it! Even after Elon Musk’s announcement that Bitcoin would no longer be approved as a form of payment for Tesla vehicles, bitcoin’s value plummeted by as much as 20% in just 24 hours, hitting its lowest point since March 1. The cryptocurrency market has once again proven to be extremely unpredictable.
Since bitcoin has struggled to sustain its bullish momentum, a slew of new altcoins have emerged that have the potential to be multi-bagger winners. Enjin Coin was first revealed in July 2017 and went live on Ethereum’s mainnet in June 2018. Enjin coin is a cryptocurrency that can be used to pay for goods and services on a variety of websites and in online games.
The coin may also be exchanged for a variety of digital assets, such as game pieces or in-game gold.
The coin was practically designed for the gaming industry. ENJ is a digital store value created by Maxim Blagov and Witek Radomski to back the value of blockchain assets such as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). ENJ executes transactions using a combination of on-chain and off-chain methods, according to its whitepaper.
Enjin token (ENJ) was first published in 2017, but it was not widely accepted until January 2021. On January 1, 2021, the Enjin token was $0.136, and on April 9, 2021, it reached an all-time high of $4.00, a 2,841 percent increase in just three months.
It is currently trading at $1.05 and has a market cap of $1.8 billion, according to CoinMarketCap. Enjin is a project that brings together a diverse group of individuals from all over the world. Enjin offers a blockchain-based network of interconnected gaming products. Enjin Network, the company’s flagship product, is a social gaming platform that allows users to chat, build websites, and host virtual stores. The Enjin token was created with the video game industry in mind.
Over 20 million players around the world have used the project to build networks and discussions about their favorite video games. Engin coin serves as a store of value for blockchain assets such as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Any video game developer could create a currency backed by the Enjin token. These tokens will have similar benefits to the blockchain in terms of value, security, and exchange pace. Enjin also works with some of the biggest names in the IT and gaming industries, including Samsung, Unity, and PC Gamer, as well as a few esports brands.
Enjin’s network of partners continues to expand, enabling the company to reimagine the gaming experience. Uniqly.io, a marketplace, and escrow that enables users to build and exchange NFTs has teamed up with Enjin (ENJ), a blockchain-based network, to bridge the gap between the digital NFT world and the real-world mainstream sector.
For the casual viewer, Enjin is a leading digital project that has established itself as a pioneering figure in the development of blockchain ecosystems and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) over the years. To date, the Enjin Platform and its ERC-1155 token standard have aided a number of projects, making it possible for them to mint and implement NFTs easily.
The Uniquely team, like Enjin, has created a full ecosystem that is currently being used as a bridge between the digital and real worlds of NFTs. This UNIQ-powered device serves as a marketplace, escrow service, and NFT generator, allowing users to convert NFTs into physical goods. Uniquely expects to announce the first scheduled release of the year soon: a limited-edition range of designer NFT shirts redeemable via the token burn process.
Uniqlo’s team has also devised a generation scheme that will ensure that each shirt has its own serial number. Users will be able to select which tier shirt they want to buy from 1,000 available designs, and an RTF will then allocate them a particular design from that bracket. More notably, this is the first collection of clothing NFTs that is backed by actual physical items, and Uniquely will be working with Enjin at a critical moment when the world’s attention is focused on NFTs.
Uniquely will be able to perform transactions quicker, easier, and more securely thanks to Enjin’s reputation and experience as a leading project in the NFT landscape, combined with its upcoming Efinity blockchain. Enjin’s tools, facilities, and stable blockchain infrastructure will be critical to the Uniqly platform’s success. Though Enjin is well-known in the digital industry for its flexibility and usefulness, Uniqly chose Enjin as a partner because of the latter’s relentless innovation push.
Enjin has so far succeeded in bridging the gap between many siloed ecosystems spanning a wide range of industries, including gaming, fashion, digital art, and others. Uniquely, meanwhile, aims to provide a simple connection between the physical and digital markets, according to the announcement.
Efinity is a purpose-built blockchain for NFTs that was designed for Polkadot with Substrate development support from Parity Technologies and launched in March 2021. Enjin’s vision of creating an interconnected cross-chain market that enables users to receive and submit NFTs from any blockchain was showcased to the rest of the world with Efinity.
Enjin’s collaboration with Uniqly will assist the latter in taking the first step toward a global, open market that bridges the physical and digital worlds. Enjin’s non-fungible stack is also poised to provide unrestricted liquidity to its partners in the future, as well as a never-before-seen user interface to the NFT ecosystem. Price Prediction and Technical Analysis According to Coinmarketcap, Enjin Coin entered the market on November 1st with a price of $0.022.
Tumblr media
Since it was a newcomer to the market, investors were unconcerned about the currency. After that, the token began to increase in value. ENJ climbed to $0.16 by the end of December, closing the year 2017 on a positive note. ENJ continued to trade at $0.18 on a bearish note. Later, as it was listed on several trading platforms, the currency effectively reached an all-time high, spiking to $0.49 on January 8th.
By February, the price had dropped to as low as $0.09, before slowly rising to $0.23. Surprisingly, by the end of June, the token had dropped to $0.052 due to heavy selling pressure on the Enjin coin. ENJ struggled to perform well in 2018 as the bears were forced to pull the prices lower. It finished the year with a trading value of $0.04. ENJ began the year at a loss of $0.04 due to a bearish trend.
The price skyrocketed to $0.24 in early March as advertisers continued to invest in Enj and then plummeted to $0.05 by the end of October as state exchanges in Southeast Asia reported tighter crypto sector regulations. After that, the currency slowly recovered to $0.08 by December, bringing the year to a close.
Enjin Coin had a $0.07 exchange value before the year 2020. Due to market disparities, the price plummeted to $0.04 by mid-March as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak, which caused a crypto asset crash. Furthermore, as the market reopened for business, the price began to recover.
By the end of August, the price had dropped to $0.23, and by early November, it had dropped to $0.11. After the price of Bitcoin increased at the end of November, ENJ remained stable. Enjin Coin later traded at $0.13 to end the year 2020. On May 10, the price of Enjin Coin fell into a demand zone that ranges from $1.92 to $2.18. ENJ has gained 21% since then, successfully breaking through the support sector.
This movement indicates a revival of investors, implying that the price of Enjin Coin is poised for a bull run. On the 6-hour map, the Momentum Reversal Indicator (MRI) has flashed a buy signal in the form of a green ‘one’ candlestick, confirming the bullish outlook stated previously. ENJ is expected to rise in a one-to-four candlestick upswing based on this setup. As a result, investors should expect ENJ to rally toward the $2.86 mark, which represents the high swing set on April 29.
The resistance level at $2.65, on the other hand, can stifle or even halt this upward trend. As a result, market participants should pay careful attention to this barrier. With a price of $0.13, Enjin Coin began in the year 2021. The token began to rise in value, reaching an all-time high of $3.59 on April 9, 2021.
ENJ may focus on partnerships and integrations with specific gaming websites. It may implement new offerings to exacerbate the scaling issue, and it may be priced at a higher price. The digital currency may be worth as much as $5 by the end of 2021. ENJ may begin the year 2022 at the cost of $11. The group will concentrate on turning the gaming industry around. It could improve its platform by providing more flexibility and accountability.
The price of Enjin Coin is expected to be $15 by the end of 2022. ENJ can rise as a result of certain developments and collaborations. ENJ may be considered the best gaming cryptocurrency on the market in five years, and it may even make the top 40 cryptocurrencies list.
If it focuses on improving its protocol and instant transaction framework, it will be able to attract more investors and users. ENJ could be worth $34 by the end of the next five years. The fundamentals of Enjin (ENJ) seem to be strong and stable. Based on current growth, projections, and optimistic sentiment from the analysts surveyed by DigitalCoin and WalletInvestor, altcoins have a decent chance to explode in the coming years. With this, we have come to an end.
