( what do you mean they can change into apex predators, they are children, Thing!!)

Church of Trees ft. DeeDee Butters - Like Gary Numan

First single of the ucpoming album The Dark & The Light, accompanied by an animated music video, which depicts Trump-era hate/fear mongering and its disastrous impact on the population, especially those of colour and LGBTQ. It depicts this despicable hate/fear as a virus that affects Trump supporters, turning them into Zombie-like creatures. Our heroine, an animated version of the song's singer, DeeDee Butters (of Ottawa's "The Peptides"), tries to extricate herself from this virus-infected population by hiding in her car (which is the reason for the reference to Gary Numan's song Cars) and fleeing from the city.

The new album signifies a change to an edgier, and potentially more commercial Church of Trees synthpop.The album, The Dark & The Light, will feature DeeDee Butters, and 5 other incredibly talented Canadian female singers, including Tara Holloway, Krista Hartman, Eniid Goodman, and Meter Bridge's Jill Beaulieu.
