The thing about Enid is, I went into this show expecting her to be on the level of obnoxiously cheery as the campers in Addams Family Values, and the same level of overbearing and bitchy. But in her very first scene, she proves to be more than just a comedic foil by backing off when she sees Wednesday recoiling from her offered hug. She recognizes that Wednesday isn't comfortable with being hugged by her, and she immediately respects that.
Then she continues to be a likable contrast to Wednesday, making her disgust/disapproval for several of Wednesday's antics known, but keeping the story about her pet scorpion in confidence, backing off again and again whenever Wednesday doesn't want to hug her, and amending her statement about wanting Wednesday to cheer her team on by saying she can just glare from the shore instead. And she does tease Wednesday a little about being such a weirdo, but never with any malice.
Each little act of acceptance toward Wednesday's oddities makes Enid a character that grows on you at the same time she's growing on Wednesday. Because although she does get Wednesday out of her comfort zone, she also puts in effort to make Wednesday more comfortable in a new and strange setting.
The matching snoods is a really fun example of how she does both simultaneously, because it's definitely NOT something Wednesday is into, but Enid had the consideration to make Wednesday's black and not pink like hers. And as much as Wednesday finds the whole idea embarrassing, she can't openly mock it to Enid's face because she knows her heart's in the right place, and she is genuinely a great friend whom she doesn't want to hurt.
Wednesday is constantly pushed into doing things she doesn't want to do, kept at a place where she doesn't want to be, and bombarded with advances she doesn't want to be bothered with, and Enid is the first person to let her choose what she wants to do. They're like straight up the story of the girl who turns into a cat and runs away from all her potential suitors except for the one who never tries to catch her, and that's a big part of what makes the scene where they finally do hug so great; because Enid has become someone who is so important to her that Wednesday hugs her because now she actually wants to.

Ok. So... You know that the fandom exist an au call Actor AU right? If the TSR ROs are all actors, how would they be?
A...Actor AU...? 😶 I'm not gonna lie, I am so clueless on this part. But from what I looked up, it tells of characters actually being actors who play in a movie, series, etc...?
So if u mean how the ROs are like if they were actors of TSR... 🤔 I'll answer, but I can imagine the casts all becoming pretty good friends cuz of how well the chemistry is.
Maverick: Still pretty stone-faced/hard to read but by then, his fellow cast members (mainly Rydigan, Ittania, Enid and MC) would have catch hints of how to read him. His parents r still horrible, but in the Actor AU, they're probably separated and he has already cut ties from them.
In his romance tho, he would probably stare at MC a lot, side-eying and taking glances. The crew would probs comment how Maverick is a lot more intense and focused when its scenes between just him and MC...
Rydigan: Even off screen, he's the life of the party and the one who remembers each and every crew members' names. If it isn't his charming smile people fawn for, it's his cheery personality. Wouldn't surprise me if he got the acting gig cuz he was scouted randomly on the street. He's also the one who would probs suggest hanging out together, cementing the bond between the little group.
In his romance, he would try to chat with MC and the crew would note how Rydigan just instinctively knew which direction MC comes from or when MC would arrive on set.
Ittania: She's the one most excited about the role - it's her first big role, but she has done a lot of voice acting and cameo/background roles. Lots of people sees her as a cool, big sister type while others can't help but notice her due to the energy she radiates. Some of the crew and her agency are a little protective tho, given her naive and oblivious nature.
In her romance, she'd be the first one putting an arm around MC's shoulder and greeting her really casually and closely. She'd want to hang out with MC and even ask them if they're down to practice their lines together to better prepare the scenes they have together. Might ask MC if they want to do some voice acting with her too, like a collab.
Enid: She's a very high-demand actress. The crew are surprised the directors and producers even managed to get her to accept the role offer. She's very diligent and doesn't like to make mistakes. She's a bit tough to befriend, but Maverick, Rydigan and Ittania got through her icy exterior. With MC, she'd thought MC might just be a newbie who got lucky until she had a scene with them or she saw how they acted out the scene of the Prologue (the one with the apartment). She's impressed by how much anguish MC managed to act and thus, her opinion of them improved (she refuses to admit that this was the moment she started being their fan).
In her romance, she'd be pretty tough on MC but not out of malice. She has seen how rough the acting world can be and while the gang provides helpful advice, she brings out the harsher criticism. Like how MC's body language isn't portraying right or how they're too casual instead of awkward for a scene about discomfort, little stuff like that. But on rough days, like if MC mess up big time, she'd stay near them and just be that comforting presence before passing a coffee can to MC, a silent way of cheering them up.
Bonus
Sylphina: MC's manager who got roped into the role because the director saw how she behaves with MC and just went "You'll do!" She didn't want to at first, but ended up relenting at MC's request.
Ben: One of the most well-known actors in the industry, a very A-list actor. Is probably the one who dragged recruited MC into the acting business, especially having them join the same agency as zim.
Thank you for the ask, anon!

Beck and Call
Wednesday x Kitsune!Reader
Part One|Part Two|Part Three|Part Four|Part Five|Part Six|Part Seven
When Wednesday opens the door to her dorm room, she's greeted with the sight of you and Enid watching those atrocious Kpop videos on her roommate's laptop. Though the music was an assault on her ears, the sight of you two amused her slightly.
Enid was an explosion of color, whereas you shared Wednesday's affinity for dark colors. The only difference was that your darkness was accented with scant bits of color Your dark, thin eyes were lined with crimson and your hair was tipped in blood red.
The sound of the door closing caught the attention of the Kpop fans. Enid waved enthusiastically while you give a nod in greeting.
"Wednesday! This is Y/N. We're just bonding over music!" Wednesday squinted at Enid's bright grin as if she was looking at the sun. "We'll only be a little bit longer, then you can have your time."
A grin spread on your face. "What, Kpop not your roomie's thing?" You already knew full well that was the case.
"The cheerful music and abundance of color should be a crime," the goth deadpanned. "Utter torture to my senses. And not the enjoyable kind."
You turned to Enid with a questioning tilt of your head. "Wait, you haven't tried any song with dark concepts?"
The wolf paused, thinking slightly before shaking her head. "Y'know, I didn't even think about it... Not usually my wheelhouse. Honestly the closest to a dark concept I liked was Boyfriend's 'Witch.'"
A laugh just escapes your lips, sounding very similar to a 'yip'. Your gaze moves back to Wednesday.
"How 'bout it? I show you a proper dark concept song and see if you at least tolerate it."
The dark girl stared for a moment, contemplating the suggestion.
"What's in it for me?" She asked. "I see no benefit in this attempted torture."
You thought for a bit before reaching to grab something. It was only then that Wednesday noticed your arm. The forearm was wrapped in a braided rope. Intertwined within were small beads, matching a larger one that hung from your ear. Your hand hovers over one of the beads and summons it from its bindings.
"Whoa," Enid balks at the action. She leans closer to gaze at the soft glow of the bead. "Is that a part of your spirit orb thingy?"
You nod in response. "We used to have only one big orb we had to hide, but my ancestors figured out a way to split them up. Mainly for easier hiding." You hold out the bead for Wednesday. "I use them as a way to solidify a pact or favor. So, if you watch one video with me, Wednesday, you can invoke my skills whenever you need."
Wednesday's eyes shift from the bead to your face.
"You're a Kitsune. A trickster demon known to deceive for fun or malice. While you have abilities suitable for my investigation, how will I know I can ensure you don't turn on me?"
A grin spreads wide on your face. "Won't that be a fun gamble to have to take, hm?" Your face sobers soon after. "As long as you have this bead, I'm compelled to help you. That's why we normally hide these. It houses our spirit so we can't do much to circumvent that."
"You're offering a lot for a measly few minutes."
"I'm offering you something equivalent to you stepping out of your comfort zone. Even for a measly few minutes."
The dark haired goth took a pause before slowly reaching out and taking the bead. When she touches it, an aura emits out and engulfs her wrist. The shine fades and a black braided bracelet is revealed, the bead set within the weaving. Wednesday looked at her new accessory curiously... You think.
"Fascinating. Now, let's get this over with. I have a schedule to maintain."
With a salute, you reach for Enid's laptop, silently asking if you could use it. When given permission, your fingers fly across the keyboard, typing out the video you were looking for. Wednesday slowly perched herself at the edge of Enid's bed, an arm's length away from the two of you. You let out a soft huff of amusement before rearranging Enid and yourself to give Wednesday a clear view of the screen.
"Obviously, it's a song about love, cuz of course it is," you start explaining. "But it's an obsessive love where you'll do anything for that person, even if it tears you apart."
"Sounds like my parents."
You quirked an eyebrow at that. Maybe you'll ask about that later. With a smirk, you hit play.
A close up of skin appears on the laptop screen, someone drawing lines upon it before cutting with a scalpel. The somber notes of a piano begin to sound as images of gore, voodoo dolls and pierced skin begin to show alongside the idols themselves. Then an electronic screech sounds as VIXX's 'Voodoo Doll' begins to play.
"Ugh, I forgot how gross this video was..." Enid gags lightly and closes her eyes, opting to just listen to the music.
You watch Wednesday as her eyes train on the video playing. Every movement on her face was caught. You knew what parts of the video got the best reactions. It was fascinating to witness. You end up just staring at Wednesday herself, caressing her face with your eyes.
When Ravi's rap begins, you give a start. Wednesday's eyes flick over to you. You hold her eyes and stare at each other. It wasn't until the bridge began that you broke eye contact. You slip off the bed, mimicking the choreography as you trudge to the center of the room. Both Wednesday and Enid watch as you dance along to the end of the song.
"So? What's your verdict, Wednesday?" Your grin was wide. She watched the ending bit of the video with Hongbin before looking at you.
"... It was tolerable. Certainly appealed to my macabre tastes." Her eyes bore into yours. "You haven't caused my ears and eyes to bleed, Y/N. An accomplishment, indeed."
You give an exaggerated bow. "All in a day's work." As you straighten up, you move to grab your things. "It's about time I head out anyway."
Enid shoots up and pulls you into a crushing hug, which you return with the same fervor.
"Mmmm best hugs! Thanks for hanging out with me."
"Anytime." As you let go, you ruffled her hair causing the wolf to squeal and playfully smack you away. You make your way to Wednesday and offer a hand.
"Thank you for going along with this. I appreciate you indulging us for a few."
The goth's eyes dart from your hand to your face. With some hesitation, she takes your hand in a firm grip.
Thankfully, no vision.
With a subtle sigh, she gives your hand a shake.
"I expect a prompt response when I require your services in the future."
A final smirk graces your face as you bow. With your hand still in Wednesday's, you ended up almost kissing her hand.
"I shall be at your beck and call."
With a final goodnight, you exit Ophelia Hall with a skip in your step. You just hope you get to see more of Wednesday.

Crossed Lines
Pairing: Wednesday Addams x Reader
Warning: Dark themes
Wednesday Addams has committed many unspeakable crimes. She's performed many unspeakable acts. Some, simply for the sake of doing so.
But, even she had a limit. A line she swore to never cross. A concrete boundary to what she was and wasn't willing to do.
Because for all her bravado and all her threats, Wednesday Addams refused to become a monster. To prove the people around her right. To give in to her family's darkness.
Call it stubbornness. Call it hopeless.
She knew she wasn't good by any definition - she would never be like Enid, could never be like her, not even close- but Wednesday always wanted to believe that she wasn't entirely bad either. That somewhere, hidden in the very depths of her being, she too had a soul worth saving. A soul capable of redemption.
Yet, as she took in your crumpled form on her bed, dark, crimson blood seeping through the layers of your tattered Evermore uniform - a color she had seen thousands of times before, but never seeming so nauseating as it did that moment - even she was surprised by the dark thoughts that crossed her mind.
The lines she was suddenly willing to cross.
You were mumbling something under your breath, a slur of pleads and cries that blended with dull ringing in Wednesday's ears.
The paleness of your skin was jarring. The lifelessness in your eyes haunting. And staining the sheets beneath you, caking the surface of everything you had touched, your blood was inescapable - the sheer amount of it painting the room.
Someone had touched you.
The thought lit something inside Wednesday.
Everything began overtaking her senses: the scent of sweat and rust from dried blood; the messy incoherent cries of pain that filled the room; the sight of you. Like that.
"Wednesday?"
Someone was calling out to her. They seemed close. Yet not quite there.
Someone had touched you.
"Wednesday?"
A second attempt to reach her was registered, now laced with a hint of concern.
The person seemed further now, though.
Someone had touched...you
Wednesday's mind began to swallow her, taking her to the darkest corners of her subconscious. To a place where all her inhibitions were washed away - stripped away - until all that was left was a desire to hurt.
Someone had touched you. Someone had hurt you.
"What happened?"
Her voice was cold. Distant. More than even she thought possible.
It didn't sound like her anymore.
The blur of a figure turned to her, Wednesday guessed that it was Enid, "Let's not doing anything careless now, okay?" They, Enid, whoever, tried to caution.
"What happened?"
The question wasn't going to be asked twice. And for their sake, Wednesday hoped Enid caught on to that.
"I-"
"Enid."
If bloodlust could be heard, not just seen, it would've been heard then - dripping with malice from every syllable of Wednesday's voice.
Enid looked over to her roommate, always having believed the Addams cruel but reasonable; now seeing, that any semblance of rationality had long disappeared.
She sighed and answered. Cautiously. Uneasily.
Wednesday left without so much as a thanks.
Watching the girl go, Enid felt her heart drop with fear. Not for herself, but rather the people who had hurt you.
///
Wednesday knew she had lost it - that what she was going to do was reckless and dangerous beyond belief.
Yet she couldn't find it in her to care.
Even as she stood over the faces of the men on the ground, bounded and tied expertly by her ropes, fear evident in their eyes. Even as they began to shake with tears and beg and plead her for their release, promising to not tell anyone. Even as she began to realized that there was no coming back from what she was about to do.
She had never wanted to become a monster like this.
But when people - the same hypocrites who've bullied and ostracized Evermore students as liars and killers - hurt the one she loved and got to walk back into their lives like nothing happened, Wednesday Addams no longer cared about her childish wants.
All she knew was was the anger and hurt she felt and the consuming need to make those responsible pay.
Afterall, someone had hurt you.
She'll make sure they hurt more.
And she'll be sure to enjoy every second of it, too.

Yoko is a little gremlin and decides to pull a "friendly" prank on Wednesday and Enid by hiding a walkie talkie in their room and feeding random noises through it throughout the day. She expects it to be a mild annoyance to her girlfriends but it ends up so much worse lol.
When she and Bianca and Divina go up to their dorm room, they open the door to see the whole room utterly trashed with random furniture turned over and trash and papers thrown around. Enid is wolfed out and growling viciously at a random corner and Wednesday is curled up against the window crying.
Bianca and Divina just slowly turn to Yoko and ask "What. Did. You. Do?"
Yoko doesn’t realize that although these girls are smart and capable, they are very easily frightened. And I mean EASILY scared. And when Enid wolfed out and tore apart the room she also broke the walkie talkie so she and Wednesday definitely don’t know where the sound was coming from now.
Suffice to say it took months of therapy and comfort for the girls to come around. And Yoko couldn’t be more sorry and feels awful about it. While the girls didn’t appreciate the joke they knew Yoko was extremely sorry and didn’t mean it in any malice way. Though they punished her by not cuddling with her for two months which was basically suffering for the poor vampire.

Potential spider Enid au prompt: Wednesday going out of her way to mess with Enid at school. Like, at this point she knows, but Enid doesn’t know she knows. Wednesday isn’t doing it out of malice, more for her own enjoyment, and partially to try to get Enid to realize she knows, which she’s too dense to pick up on.
i think wednesday purposefully leaves marks whenever they fight just to see it the next day. It heals in an hour then fades in two or three days but it still pleasing to wednesday, the reason why is not one she will talk about

Will never stop thinking about how perfectly this one article summed up Wednesday's character. It's what separates her from truly evil characters like Laurel and why she hated Tyler after the Hyde reveal.
The Addamses aren't evil. Wednesday isn't evil. She's sadistic, and mischievous, but she doesn't purposefully invoke cruelty on people that don't deserve it. At her core, Wednesday is protective. Whether it's her family--
-- or the outcasts, especially the "outcasts among outcasts".
It's why Wednesday tried to save Rowan when she didn't give a shit about the old man whose death she also saw. And why she has a soft spot for Eugene and Enid.
Wednesday looks out for her people. She's cares about them immensely. She's just garbage at showing it in a way that isn't punishing those who have hurt or plan to hurt them.
It saddens me when certain people would characterize her as heartless. She isn't a saint, no fuckin way, but like I said, what sets her apart from the villains is the fact that she isn't just cruel malice. She is protection, justice, and punishment.
Which is what makes how the finale turned out even better, with it being her turn to be saved by her people
#wednesday netflix#idk why i talk about this show like its smartly written#because it isn't#but Wednesday is such a precious character to me#i think this is really why she's such a queer icon#because we all know she'd defend us#and break the fingers of anyone who'd dare hurt us

someone tell wednesday what a milf is, i need to see how she’s gonna react💀
"What's a MILF?"
Enid's laughter at your rant came to a screeching halt. Wednesday had asked her what a MILF was? No, that couldn't be, surely she knew what it was, right? She was beyond intelligent, she would know something like this. She was with you, after all, there was no way it was a foreign concept.
But the look on her face told Enid otherwise.
"It's- I mean it- it's an acronym," Enid mumbled with a shrug.
"What does it stand for?" Wednesday asked. There was no malice in her voice or in her gaze, just sheer curiosity. That, Enid thought, was the worst part.
"Well, it- it means-," she couldn't find the words. Did she lie? There were plenty of false meanings for it, surely those would work, right? But no, Wednesday was too smart, she would know and then Enid would be the one getting in trouble.
Time to throw you under the bus.
"It, um, it stands- it stands for Mother I'd Like to Fuck."
Wednesday was silent and Enid could see the gears turning in her head. Oh god, this was how she was going to die. She was going to be the one to die because you were still too busy ranting and she was physically closer to Wednesday. No one would ever find her remains and Wednesday would kill the rest of the witnesses too.
"I see," was all Wednesday said in reply before turning to look at you.
Everything moved in slow motion and Enid could do nothing to stop it. From the way Wednesday grabbed the shoe sitting next to her, to the way she threw it with phenomenal precision. It hit you square in the chest, forcing the air out of you and knocking you off of your seat.
"What was that for?" You asked incredulously.
"Never equate my mother to a MILF ever again," she said before standing up and leaving the room.
"Wednesday wait!" You called out, struggling to get up and chase after her.
Well. You were certainly in the dog house for the foreseeable future. Enid would need to remember to sneak some snacks to you when you were inevitably locked out of the room.

Wenclair prompt
Enid's family has been trying to kill Wednesday Addams for years, even before she started at Nevwrmore, and the goth has no idea. Failed poisonings, botched kidnappings, and then there's the time they tried releasing a lion into the house only for the family to keep it as a pet.
Enid has no idea why they are so singularly focused - the extended family barely acknowledge her as a werewolf let alone a Sinclair, so they won't elaborate either. They just tell her it's necessary and she should be grateful. Grateful for the murder of a teenage girl? Yeah right. Talk about toxic pack mentality.
Aka, there's an obscure prophecy about a great evil razing their family line to the ground. They attribute it correctly to Wednesday, but misinterpret the justice she'd bring upon learning about Enid's constant mistreatment as malice without reason.

awkward phonecall
A/N - this is based off of a scene in the movie Metal Lords, which is a very good movie and should be watched by everyone.
summary: Enid has a crush on the reader, who has psychic/telekinetic powers. after sitting in on one of this light-hearted exchanges with Bianca, Enid sees a chance and takes it.
"you know, you do seem pretty gay to me, Y/N." Bianca is teasing you, as usual.
you could say the two of you have a love-hate relationship. mostly hate. and not really love. maybe...despise-tolerate?
sitting in the courtyard, at a bench and table is you, Bianca (of course) and a few of your classmates. this group includes Enid Sinclair, your bright, bubbly friend, who's been acting kind of different recently. you haven't told anyone, but you have a bit of a crush on her. you're pretty sure she's into Ajax though, which is fine, you're not gonna push.
"i am not!" you reply, faking offense.
"something about your hair, your voice, the way you walk. so...basically everything." she smirks and you roll your eyes.
"you're sounding a bit like Ariel there, miss mermaid." it's the best insult you can think of. if you're honest, your back and forth with Bianca is reminiscent of childhood squabbles.
"just because you've got Jedi powers." she mocks you, putting on a stereotypical nerdy voice.
"haha." you fake laugh at the lame insult, "spare me, i'll die a virgin if i'm known as 'one of the guys with Jedi powers'."
Bianca shoots you a look, an eyebrow raised, "i didn't mean it that way! i'm not, well-" you give up, and end up just sighing in frustration as Bianca laughs at you. you raise the middle finger to her before chuckling over it yourself.
the day continues as usual, and before you know it, it's 8 PM, and you're pretty relaxed in your dorm, when your phone rings. it's Enid. sitting up, you immediately answer,
"hey!" you greet, excited that she phoned you, but curious as to why,
"hey! uh, how was your day?" her sweet, clear voice rings out and you smile,
"it was alright, easy enough classes. except for Bianca's cruelty to me at lunch, of course." you chuckle down the phone,
"Bianca is always saying ridiculous things." Enid replies, a hint of actual malice in her voice.
"oh yeah, which parts ridiculous? the Jedi part, the gay part, or the virgin part?" you joke, but she goes quiet. worried you overstepped a boundary, you prepare to a) apologise (awkwardly) or b) make an excuse and hang up. before you can follow through on either option, she speaks up.
"well, you are, right?" her voice is low, like she's choosing her words carefully,
"gay? i mean, i don't think so. i guess it's a spectrum?" you tell her, confused
Enid huffs softly, "no, i mean, a virgin. a-are you a virgin?" she asks very quickly. as if she never even said it.
taken aback, you answer honestly, "oh! umm- yeah, definitely. 100%." you cringe at your response, smacking your forehead.
there's a pause.
"hello?" you say into the phone, thinking the lines went dead. or worse. she hung up after finding out your terrible secret.
"d-do you want-", she pauses, taking her time, "do you want to...not be?" she holds her breath, waiting for your answer. oh no. oh no. what a stupid thing to ask! she panics. what she doesn't realise is that, in your silence, you're also having your own moment of panic. oh. oh. is this a joke? i should say something. fuck. a million thoughts go through your head.
"uhh, yes? yes, actually. yeah." your mouth has gone dry and every second feels like an hour of waiting.
"can you meet me behind the greenhouse in half an hour?" Enid asks bluntly, her caution from before seemingly vanished.
"see you then." you blurt out, and Enid giggles as she hangs up the phone.
oh, you think to yourself.
oh.
(bit of a short, low effort fic. just bc i enjoyed the concept and wanted to put it down, also felt like writing. more solid fics coming soon 👍)

Wednesday Fanfic Concept - Soulmate Struggles
Summary:
Wednesday has always loathed the idea of a Soulmates. Emotions of warm nostalgia and love forced on her for a stranger by the whims of fate? IF she ever meets the people whose marks match hers she will ensure she doe snot become a slave to passion as her parents did!
Bianca had always feared meeting her Soulmates. Already terrified of the power she had over the minds of others she could think of nothing kinder than to reject them as harshly as possible.
Enid had always longed too meet her soulmates, hoping to find two kindred spirits who could perhaps love her without conditions or demands.
Too bad for the three of them what they got was each other.
Concept:
This is likely one of m most painful ideas, and definitely the one that explores Wednesday's toxic traits the most overtly.
The nature of soulmates in this world is that as you grow and aspects of your personality, temperament ETC settle in you develop a connection with your soulmate/soulmates.
But all this means is that you have some base comparability. It says nothing for beliefs, ideologies and little for life experience.
Despite this, because of the schooling systems and such most people meet their soulmates in their onw age brackets, communities. schools ETC. & from this comes the entirely cultural expectation of romance, despite the fact soulmates are not inherently romantic or platonic, they just are.
As a result, lots of people with soulmates outside their age range or no soulmate tend to experience some stigma or at least judgement.
This also means a lot of soulmate relationships actually end up really unhealthy and or destructive but not enough that its become a talked about problem. But yeah, basically despite the comforting feeling a soulmate provides, any relationship actually requires work.
This story was also inspired by the concept of "This will always be our first" That is to say, a first meeting, a first reaction, a first date and one party intentionally making it worse either out of some mild selfishness that just exploded or even a degree of malice.
The two inspirations I drew from were:
RWBY's volume 9 with main character Ruby Rose, having been driven to a breakdown lashes out at those around her. Including her sister and her girlfriend because their budding relationship and happiness is just agony to see when she's in so much pain. Any other day or time she'd be over the moon for them, but the tragic thing is this will always be the reaction they all remember.
The other was from a Wenclair fic, where despite having been engaged for months, Wednesday did not tell her parents until she & Enid touched down at the airport. Morticia was awkward & Gomez was distraught and ended up fighting Enid who then went to her & Wednesday's room to be depressed because that too will always be her first meeting with Wednesday's parents.
The first being bad is not something that cannot be worked through but it is inherently bittersweet I feel.
Characters:
Enid: Wow I have two soulmates… Maybe they will, I dunno, love me unconditionally? 🙂 Wednesday: Emotions. Complicated. Vulnerability. Awful. Hate them, you did this to me, how dare you. Stay away! Bianca: I don't like affecting anyone's mind by my mere presence, I hate the idea of someone doing it to me even more, I will not be made vulnerable, so stay away!
Bianca & Wednesday: You made me feel emotions against my will. Die. Enid: Wow, both my soulmates are like this… Great… I'm so lucky... :/
Kinbott is actually a better therapist in this cos her soulmate is platonic, IE Cassie from Uriah's heap. SO she is a bit socially isolated herself and more thoughtful. She also has a thing for Principle Weems who was Gomez's soulmate but that didn't pan out.
Chapters:
As noted, this story would definitely be delving into some of Wednesday & to a lesser extent Bianca's more toxic defense mechanism and general attitudes.
Be they born from being indulged by her parents but socially isolated in Wednesday. Or traumatized by her mother and adopting an extremely toxic self image in Bianca.
Enid will be contextualized below:
Chapter 1:
When encountering Enid for the first time, both register they are soulmates. Desperate to avoid her parents cooing, Wednesday is quick to evacuate the situation and Enid surprisingly enables her.
Through the tour, Enid is much more indulgent of Wednesday and generally open even revealing her issues with transforming. She in essence pulls her rib cage open so Wednesday can see her heart.
Wednesday uses this as a chance to stomp on it.
Partially because of her complexes regarding emotions but also because she thinks Enid is just 'that way; because of the Soul Mark and she just wants her gone and so is generally the worst.
Enid puts up with it until the next morning, where she gently confronts Wednesday and Wednesday keeps trying to antagonize her:
"I really wanted you to feel welcome and safe, to make the feeling the mark is meant to give real. & now… That first day and night will always be how we met. (Deep breath) You didn't want I offered, and fair enough, but-"
"Are your ears as broken as your transformation pick it u-"
Enid literally tackles her to the floor, nearly breaks her wrists and snarls against her throat.
"I have spent my entire life pouring love and dedication down a bottomless pit. I will not do it again. You don't want me? Fine! But I am not your servant, not your friend and not your family. Never demand anything of me again you spoiled brat!"
Then she gets up and walks to class like nothing happened.
Wednesday lies on the floor for awhile longer processing:
1: She drastically misread Enid's personality. 2: She just got physically outdone by a peer for the first time ever. 3: Evidently the soul mark did not make Enid a simpering wreck. 4: For the first time in years, Wednesday felt a spike of fear.
Chapter 2:
Displeased by all that, Wednesday wants to get back on the horse so to speak and restore some of her damaged confidence and also figure out how the hell that happened.
Mostly cos it runs contrary to how she thinks soulmates work despite she herself not following the 'rules' of soulmates.
She & Bianca have their encounter and there is not even any speaking. Both register the other as their soulmate and draw swords and it is on sight, because both of them would rather an enemy that let someone in close.
Wednesday still loses so she's still not having a great time. Especially as it turns out Enid is more interested in chatting up a vampire than her or Bianca!
Enid is not outright blanking her, or hating her, but just treating her like any other student she happened to share a room with.
Wednesday would find cloying affection smothering but not unexpected and she would find hatred acceptable.
But it turns out just being kind of dismissed, really gets under her skin. So she storms off, meets Xavier, is generally caustic ETC.
After the Gargoyle incident Enid did show some concern but very generalized, "We're both Outcasts & you are a person who almost died?" and then gets distracted and spends the rest of the night chatting with Thing.
Wednesday's music garners no real reaction from Enid, though we see Bianca having a not emotionally fun time of it in her room because of it.
After that when they go to be, Enid even says, "Night Wednesday." But that's also its, it's so dismissive, it's so... casual.
Wednesday was not built for casualness.
Wednesday was built for soul crushing devotion be it hatred or love!
Chapter 3:
Because of these elements she does not have Enid's help trying to get out of Nevermore. As a result she may actually turn to Bianca because "We both want me gone, help me make it happen." Which may even cut Tyler out for a bit.
Still, the two otherwise remain in their ongoing "We will be eternal enemies/I will ensure you never get close" stalemate. Its not healthy but both deem it acceptable.
Meanwhile Enid begins to fixate on Enid either in her first session or a later one, talks to Kinbott solely cos she wants an outsider perspective on Soul Marks and obsession.
We learn about her ties to Uraih's heap and that soul mark obsession is just down to obsessive people.
IE, Wednesday is obsessing because she's prone to such behavior and because Enid dismantling and then dismissing her is a huge blow to self identity. Wednesday is used to being rejected, or hated, or feared and even adored without resveration from her family.
She is not used to being looked at like a spoiled teen and summarily dismissed as unimportant and it makes her feel like Enid is 'winning' some kind of contest she's not even playing but Bianca is.
Chapter 4:
Wednesday & Larissa do get that hot choc, & Wednesday does fix the machine & Tyler says he owes her. Later, when drinking, Tyler interrupts claiming Thornhill called and could not get through on her mobile.
Its a brief distraction but it lets Wednesday scribble a note demanding his number and she gets in on the receipt and organizes her extraction.
Cue the festival a brief interaction where Enid warns her of Tyler's hate crimes.
Wednesday tries to ply it into being about her rather than Outcast solidarity but is shrugged off as Enid goes off with Yoko, leaving her in a bad mood.
Yes Wednesday is still jealous of Yoko, she cannot escape it XD
Kinbott is there and chatting with Larissa but not enough to distract her.
Then Wednesday blocks two darts flying at her head and one ends up in her hand.
Bianca shouts "Rowan!" Who takes off running and is followed by Wednesday into the forest.
His ambush doesn't work though cos Bianca was after him to and she knows he is a telekinetic. So she manages to knock him out with a drug and steal the book. Bianca likely knows she has it but won't cause a scene around the sheriff.
Gaplin tries to shoot her but is stopped by Weems and Kinbolt makes sure Rowan is alive before practically shouting the man down and then helps carry Rowan back to Nevermore while Weems rounds up all her students.
Wednesday wants Bianca to use her siren song to make him talk which makes her livid and Kinbolt has to intervene a bit and also reveals its not useful for that as the subject just says what the person wants to hear in their own head not their own mind.
After that, Enid arrives.
Turns out Thing fell out of Wednesday's pocket and she was so pissed off she sort of forgot him in the chase.
So, Thing is sulking & Wednesday is initially more interested in trying to get info on Rowan and or proving a point to Enid to acknowledge it so they clamber back over to Enid to sulk and they go off with Yoko to do their nails.
Though not before revealing Rowan was "More like a normie than Kinbolt."
IE, he did not like other outcasts besides his fellow psychics.
Basically a more extreme version of Xavier's distrust and contempt for Bianca and Sirens in general.
Enid: (Puts Thing in her hand) Rowan was always like, 'Oh you may be outcasts (Sneers) But I am the only Outcaaast! (Falls back and it caught by Yoko. They then put an equally dramatic Thing back on her shoulder and leave.)
Wednesday and Bianca are shooed out while Weems and Kinbolt try to get Rowan to talk (Gaplin is being yelled at by the mayor for almost killing a 15 year old)
She & Bianca likely have a tense stand off regarding the book Rowan stole but Bianca needs to keep her secrets and despite being presumably able to Siren Song Wednesday into giving it to her does not. Instead promising to collect it with her scaled hands later, before ominously vanishing through a secret passageway.
Wednesday returns to her dorm room to find it empty.
Her victory over Rowan, briefly a restorative of confidence now tastes like ashes, the book seems useless, Bianca refused to fight and Enid is still vexing her mind.
She shatters the window, as loudly as possible.
Enid comes racing up and Wednesday antagonizes her and Enid's claws and fangs come out and she's barely held back by Yoko and Thing. But more by the arrival of Thornhill making them all have a "Sleep over" with Yoko cos its dangerous to be in a room with so much broken glass.
The three mostly ignore Wednesday and go on about their nails and let Enid vent about the window, but it never ties back to soulmates, or romance, or anything Wednesday wants it too and they eventually go to sleep, with Thing giving her a judgmental vibe lecture while safety out of reach.
Back to square one, incredibly frustrated!
Notes:
As noted, this story is kind of exploring Wednesday at her most intensely bratty, but I think the window would be the farthest it would go so after that there is nowhere to go but up.
Ya know, maybe.
But she & Bianca still have a lot of issues to work through and if either of them ever want anything more than a superficial understanding of Enid she will need to overcome her distrust.
It will likely be revealed in the Rowan bit that Xavier lied to Bianca about not having a soulmate when trying to become her boyfriend. This also comes up in the herbology class when he tries to flirt with Wednesday and fails hard.
Chapter 5:
I think Wednesday may actually, after a point call her mother and kinda low key ask if she's spoiled and or being childish.
"Your father and I wanted you to have every freedom, every opportunity to explore your passions as you pleased. We have always been astounded by you, but... Perhaps in doing so we did not impart to you some key lessons."
"You think I am broken. The-"
"NEVER. A child cannot be wrong or broken or unwanted in anyway. All this is is that your father and I expected your to enter a contest without imparting to you the rules, you are not at fault for anything."
She later asks Wednesday for a favor.
"You are doing very poorly at imposing limits, mother."
She wants Wednesday to tell Weems she and Kinbolt will have a lovely tea together in her office.
Cos of the attack, Wednesday has another appointment with Kingbolt earlier and imparts the message to her instead and claims its the Weathervane to try and see if she can influence visions. She doesn't get to know if she can.
Also Rowan is taken off campus by his father so he lives but Wednesday gets no more answers from him.
Final Notes:
But yeah that's about where I am with it.
But I wanted to explore the idea of soul bonds but with the romantic angle being entirely socially engineered. Pus other aspects for the casts as you may have noticed :3c
Oh, also Bianca is more shocked by Thing than Kinbolt, a hint that she is from a background that isolated her from the Outcast community compared to Enid or Yoko who are just sorta like, "Weird but neat" and "My sire has a haunted samurai mask that constantly yells at us. Thing is way more polite."

Wyler Summer of Smut 2023 Bingo Card Masterlist
I've officially finished the whole card. Below is each fic listed.
Begging
Wednesday decided to spend fall break with Tyler instead of going back to New Jersey or remaining in the dorms. She had little intention of leaving his bed for nearly the entirety of it. What Tyler needed to learn was that he wasn't allowed to leave it either.
Series: Part 3 of Just a Couple of Teenage Tearaways
Squirting
Wednesday nearly got them all killed at the Gates Mansion, and Enid leaving was the final act that pushed Wednesday over the edge. Fully panicking, she snuck back into Tyler’s house to make sure that he was ok. It ended with a marriage vow to forever bind Tyler under the protection of the Addams Family Curse. She couldn’t kill another Addams. Not through malice, not by accident, and not by proxy. Ever. As his wife, she will never be able to get Tyler killed. Not even if she wanted to.
Series: Part 1 of Til Death
Hyde Sex
Upon meeting, Wednesday and Tyler unknowingly trigger each other’s heat/rut. However, they don’t realize it until after Tyler, in hyde form, has torn Rowan to shreds before Wednesday’s very eyes. OR The hyde takes Wednesday instead of running away after saving her life. Fully lost in rut, they don’t leave his cave for a while. Wednesday, just as lost in her heat, isn’t complaining.
Body Worship
Mayor Walker's funeral was a somber affair for most involved. Wednesday, however, couldn't keep her eyes off Tyler. You see, she'd never seen Tyler in black before, and, if he was trying to seduce her, it was incredibly effective.
Free Space
When Wednesday was cursed to become her costume after the Poe Cup, she went to Tyler to hide until the curse wore off. Incidentally, she was now a walking talking personal fantasy of Tyler’s, and he was kind of losing his mind over it.
Pain
Wednesday knows who Tyler really is. She’ll pry the truth from him if it kills her, and she’ll kill him as many times as it takes to get what she’s owed. OR Local newlyweds have their first fight as a married couple.
Series: Part 2 of Til Death
Fuck or Die
Wednesday has been arrested. Again. Tyler was just going to pick her up like he always did when she greeted him with overt sexual interest. This was alarming because she considered holding hands to be PDA and therefore unacceptable. It became quickly apparent that she’d been drugged, the deputy responsible was internally bleeding in the holding cells, and Wednesday needed him now. OR When Wednesday is drugged with sex pollen whilst in police custody, Tyler picks her up and takes care of her in more ways than one.
Series: Part 2 of Fuck or Die
Lingerie
Tyler was a patient at Willowhill Hospital when Wednesday breaks into his cell. Between what she's wearing and the way she's looking at him, this wasn't going to be a chaste visit. Well, if nothing else, it'd be interesting.
Humiliation
Principal Weems drops Wednesday off at the train station, leaving her alone to be accosted by Tyler, who was waiting for her. What follows is an angry, twisted, wanton fight filled with teeth and cum.

the spark in her eyes
Enid didn't like Wednesday at first. She was blunt, stubborn, single minded, and had a personal thing against Taylor Swift. But for some reason, Enid got used to her. She got used to the little things Wednesday did, the small parts of her routine. Enid didn't like change at all, so when she came back to the dorm for classes to see that Wednesday wasn't there, she began to grow worried. It's fine, she told herself. Wednesdays probably just out looking for that 'monster' in the woods....But it has been storming for hours, the exact reason why Enid had called off on painting her team canoe. But it wouldn't be entirely unlike Wednesday to go hunt for monsters in the rain. Enid told herself she didn't care. But she did however, miss the rhythm of a typewriter that night. When Wednesday came home, she barely even looked up.
Enid had woken up countless times to the cello. What made this time different, she didn't know. But she didn't groan and cover her ears with her pillow like she usually wood. It could've been the fact that it was a full moon. But instead of the usual earplugs that came with Wednesdays late night sopranos, instead she climbed out from her bed and went to see. Wednesdays fingers moved with a fast clockwork that Enid never had and never would have. Wednesday didn't even acknowledge her presence as she climbed out the spinning window. All she did was keep playing, her eyes reading the music notes inexplicably fast as her bow followed. It was actually quite lovely, what she was playing. And for some reason, Enid's eyes went from the cello bow to Wednesdays face. She trailed the curve of her cheeks with her eyes. What she had assumed was a gaunt feature to her physique was really just a sharp jaw. She counted her freckles. But what enamored her was her eyes. Large and dark, Enid saw something in them she never saw before. A spark. She could tell that in Wednesday, she loved to play the cello. The thought shocked her. She thought Wednesday played it only to show off, not out of devotion. But just by looking at her, you could tell, she was in love. Enid loudly went back to bed. She never wanted to think of the word love and Wednesday Addams together, ever again.
...Enid had found herself looking for the spark in Wednesday's eyes. She had began sprouting a friendship with her, and what better opportunity? When in Rome. Not like she'd ever admit she was always searching Wednesdays eyes for some abstract concept of a "spark".
...
But if she would ever admit ot, she'd make note that the spark appeared more often than she expected. Usually, Wednesdays eyes were drowning in either boredom or malice, the two emotions Enid easily saw on the surface. But beneath, it was there more often than not. It appeared in her eyes when she wrote. When she played the cello. It appeared when she made a witty quip to Bianca. It came when Enid gave her positive feedback about her story. And it was beautiful. In a weird, goth kinda way. Not just a beautiful situation. It was like how a beetle would be beautiful. Only beautiful because it was weird.
The spark was there much more often, in the worst way. Enid had hoped, a little bit. For some reason she had hoped for a stupid, delusional dream. That maybe one day Wednesday would look at her with a spark. Maybe she did, even. Maybe she could look at her and find the love of a good friend. But that wasn't what Enid wanted...
Enid wanted the love of something more. And someone else got that look. Xavier. How could Enid have been so blind? They were so good together. Resident sad loner artist with the resident genius goth musician. It hurt how well they seemed to be for each other. Enid hadn't even meant to stumble upon them. She just did. It was well after club time, but Enid found herself wondering. And she wondered right into them. They didn't notice her, of course. Why would they notice her? They were too busy looking at each other. Enid zoned in on Wednesdays eyes like she often found herself doing. The spark. Just as bright as when she played the cello, but different. Not the love she had for the cello, or her writing, or from winning an argument. A different love. Enid knew what love it was. How could Enid possibly get in the way of that? She couldn't of course. And what sealed the deal of how she would never do anything was the way Wednesday smiled. Her smile was perfect. Gentle, with one corner pushed up more than the other. Perfect. Enid quietly turned the corner, and disappeared. It felt like the interaction lasted for hours, though it couldn't have even been a minute. Wednesday and Xavier hadn't even talked to each other, they just looked. Maybe they were talking right now. Maybe hugging. Maybe kissing. That stopped Enid right in her tracks. She wanted that.
She wanted to see the spark in Wednesdays eyes when she looked at Xavier, to be directed at her. She wanted to hug Wednesday. She wanted to kiss Wednesday. She especially wanted to kiss Wednesday. But it was a dream. someone as delusional as herself would have. It would never happen, and how could she even expect it to? Enid didn't want to take away the spark in Wednesdays eyes, not even the one she wanted the most. She could only dream.
