3rd Person Pov:
Y/n is sitting on a table outside. She is between Enid, Yoko and Divina sitting on Yoko's lap. And in front of her there are Bianca, Ajax and Eugene. It’s the weekend so no one has school.
"How's it going with Wednesday?" » Divina asks, turning to Y/n to give her full attention. She wraps her arms around Yoko's neck who also gives you her full attention.
" I don't know. Wednesday is less distant with me than the others. But she doesn't want us to show our affection in front of others. So we don't kiss in public. She doesn't even want to hold hands in public. » Y/n gives a sad smile to her friends. She wished Wednesday would show her love towards her more.
“And when you are alone? » Enid asks curiously. Y/n's cheeks reddened thinking about yesterday with Wednesday fucking her.
“To deprive her of that is a whole different person but I’ll keep that to myself.” »
Y/n and Wednesday have been together for 3 months. Even though everyone at school knows you're in a relationship, Wednesday still doesn't like to show love in public. But for Y/n it didn't bother her because in private, Wednesday showed her love. Y/n was truly in love with the goth and she knew she was going to end her life with this emotionless girl.
“Yeah good idea I don’t want to have too much explanation that could harm my hearing. » Adds Bianca with an expression of disgust. Everyone laughs at his comment.
“My shoulders hurt so much, yesterday’s fencing really exhausted me. » Enid complains while massaging her right shoulder which is painful.
“Wait, I’m going to massage you, you’ll feel better. » Y/n gets up and stands behind Enid and begins to massage her shoulders. Enid closes her eyes in happiness. It's been a long time since she had a shoulder massage.
" Yes like this. Just there. » Enid groaned slightly from the tension in her shoulders.
“Looks like you were fucking.” » Said Bianca laughing.
What no one knew was that Wednesday saw and heard everything. And she thought Y/n and Enid were flirting together. Anger surges through his veins. She clenches her fist and quickly heads to her dorm where she shares with Enid and Y/n. She goes back to her dorm and she does everything in her power not to kill Enid or Bianca or even Y/n. While pacing around the room, Wednesday sees Y/n's phone on her bed. The young goth had watched Y/n do her code once and she had held her back. She knew this information would come in handy one day.
Wednesday takes the phone and enters the code which is her date of birth. She goes to her girlfriend's messages and immediately finds Enid's name. Rocks form in his stomach.
Enid 🐺🌕❤️: I love you my dear
Y/n ❤️🔥🧜🏻♀️: I love you too my wolf
Enid 🐺🌕❤️: No you don't understand, I love you madly. I am so blessed to have met you.
Y/n ❤️🔥🧜🏻♀️: Stop it, you'll make me cry. And Wednesday is sleeping next door I don't want to wake her because you make me cry.
Wednesday closes the phone and throws it across the room. She's so angry you'd think smoke was coming out of her ears. Not only does she see her girlfriend flirting with Enid but they also exchange little words of love.
“Enid, I’m going to tear you into pieces and feed your flesh to the squirrels. » Wednesday serves her hands while injuring her hands from her nails digging into her skin.
" You're better? » Y/n sat back down in her place between Enid, Yoko and Divina.
“Yes thank you you were the best. » Enid smiles and kisses Y/n's cheek. “Oh no I put lipstick on your cheek. » Enid laughed softly. " Let me see. » Y/n searches in her pocket for her phone but can't find it. “Shit, I forgot my phone at the dorm. I will be back. »
Y/n gets up and heads inside the school to go back to her dorm.
When she comes home, she finds Wednesday standing between her bed and Wednesday's bed and looking out the window. His arms are crossed over his chest.
“Wednesday you haven’t seen my phone? »
“I threw it at the wall. » The young goth responds without emotion. Y/n frowns.
" All right? And why? » Y/n responds softly because she senses that her girlfriend is upset but she doesn't really know why and slowly walks towards Wednesday.
Wednesday quickly turns around and pushes Y/n onto the bed so she is sitting on the edge of the bed and Wednesday straddles her girlfriend's lap. The emotionless girl cups Y/n's jaw between her thumb and the rest of her fingers and squeezes.
“I saw your little interaction with Enid earlier and your messages between you and Enid. » Wednesday clenches her jaw and squeezes harder on Y/n's jaw. But then she notices the lipstick mark on Y/n's cheek and she immediately knows it's Enid's because of the pink color. Wednesday's irises turn even darker with anger and jealousy.
Wednesday forcefully pushes Y/n to lay her down and gets off of Y/n's lap.
" Take off your clothes. » Orders Wednesday, undressing too. Y/n immediately does as she is told and quickly undresses. Both women are now completely naked.
Wednesday climbs onto the bed and sits on top of Y/n between her thighs. “I’m going to remind you who you belong to. » Wednesday takes his hard cock and thrusts without warning into Y/n's dripping vagina. The young woman moaned in pain and pleasure at the same time.
Wednesday moves her hips with animal speed. “I'm going to remind you who can fuck you and put their lips on you. » Wednesday releases all her anger in her hip movement.
The young goth leans in and kisses Y/n. She sticks her tongue in her mouth and pushes it down Y/n’s throat who chokes her slightly.
" I'm near. » Y/n cries into Wednesday's mouth and clutches the sheets. Wednesday bites her girlfriend's bottom lip hard enough to draw some blood. She licks the blood and gets off of Y/n. The y/h/c girl moans and is sexually aroused and angry. “Get on all fours. » Y/n listens and gets on all fours. Wednesday feels even harder seeing Y/n's ass. She spanks her left buttock hard and Y/n moans in pain and excitement.
“You 'slap' is 'slap' to 'slap' me” Y/n moaned with each slap. Wednesday thrusts into Y/n’s vagina always without warning. She holds Y/n’s hips in place to help him enter her.
Y/n moaned loudly into the cushion. The young goth takes a handful of Y/n's hair and pulls it towards her so that Y/n's back is against her chest. Wednesday puts her hand on Y/n's throat and chokes her slightly as she continues to penetrate her.
“Tell me who you belong to.” » Wednesday whispers in Y/n's ear which sends shivers all over her body.
" Yours. I belong to you only. » The young mermaid said with difficulty with Wednesday's hand still on her throat.
“You’re right Cara Mia. You belong to me and only me. »
Wednesday pushes Y/n so that she is head on the cushions and butt in the air again. Y/n services Wednesday’s cock, a sign that she’s close. The girl with black braids moaned at the pressure on his penis.
“I’m going to cum.” » Y/n cries feeling close.
“Cum for me Cara Mia.” » Wednesday keeps her speed and rubs circles on Y/n's clit to help her cum.
Y/n screams and cramps her back while cumming on Wednesday's cock. The young goth moans and jerks off to cum in Y/n's pussy. The young y/h/c girl moaned as she felt the hot liquid invade the inside of her vagina. Y/n lays on her side with Wednesday lying behind her both tiredly.
“I didn’t hurt you Cara Mia?” » asks Wednesday, worried that she has hurt her girlfriend.
“Are you kidding, it was the best sex I’ve ever had. » Y/n smiled as she turned her head towards Wednesday.
“I love you so much Mio amore. » Wednesday kisses Y/n passionately. Their tongues dance together.
" I love you too my love. And don't forget that you are the only one on my mind. » Y/n replies, pulling away from the kiss and caressing Wednesday's cheek.
“Go get some sleep amore. » Wednesday kisses Y/n's cheek. The girl rolls her head over and falls asleep in her girlfriend's arms with Wednesday's cock still in her pussy.
The door opens slowly and Enid enters the dormitory. “It smells like sex in here. » Enid smirked seeing Wednesday's glare.
“From now on, I forbid you from touching or kissing Y/n’s cheek. »
“I can’t promise anything. » Enid laughed lightly without waking Y/n.
“If I see you flirting with Y/n again, I’ll destroy your stuffed animal collection and tell everyone that you and Ajax had sex in the school library.” » Wednesday responds without emotion.
“Okay, okay but I’m just telling you that Y/n is madly in love with you. So you don't have to worry. And I am madly in love with Ajax. But if you don't mind, I'm going to sleep in Yoko's dorm. I don't want to smell like sex all night long. » Enid hops and leaves the dormitory, closing the door gently.
Wednesday looks at Y/n and gently caresses her cheek.
“I’m madly in love with you too. » Wednesday whispers and she kisses Y/n's cheek lovingly. And she's sure she saw a smile and a blush on her girlfriend's face.
Y/n will be and remain the love of his life.

up and gone - xavier thorpe
masterlist wednesday masterlist
requested: yes! requests: open! Hi! 👩🎨 anon here, if it’s alright with you I would like to send in a little angsty request for Xavier-The reader and Xavier are best friends, and upon Wednesday’s arrival at school the readers feelings for Xavier deepen, however she can sense how Xavier feels for Wednesday and one night, in the early hours of the morning, the reader takes off. She ups and leaves Nevermore because she can’t handle the ache in her chest. Xavier, being the psychic that he is, has a vision and tries to stop her. He bursts into her room only to find her side of the room completely empty…He was too late :(You can add fluff if you’d like, maybe once Xavier realizes that Wednesday is all for Enid?
AN: hi! i hope i did this request justice :') also, i absolutely love it when people put emoji's to sign their asks, so cute! i hope you enjoy reading this and thank you for the request :D part 2 is coming!
word count: 4.839 warnings: she/her reader, gif is not xavier (i did not keep up with the percy hynes white thing lately :/), angst, fluff at the end, reader does not immediately forgive xavier (SORRY!!), reader has the ability to grow/control plants, doesn't quite follow the right timeline of the show
You and Xavier were together. As best friends. Never did you expect him to crush you like this. And he did not even realize it.
"Here you go, Sleeping Beauty," you push the tray of food toward your friend who now sits opposite you, out of breath and his tie barely tied. "I can't believe you overslept. Again."
Xavier gives you a look before gripping the fork, pricking at the eggs before pushing them into his mouth.
"If it wasn't for a certain someone that wanted to watch every single Twilight movie in one night-"
"Hey!" You let out a laugh, taking a sip of your lukewarm chocolate milk. "I didn't hear any complaints!"
The boy shrugs, grinning at you before quickly eating the rest of his breakfast. There were only about ten minutes left, and he also still needed to brush his hair and fix his tie. The movies were not necessarily what kept him up - he had a lot of things occupying his mind. He had another nightmare about some monster, and he was simply just too scared to go to sleep again.
You fish a small hairbrush out of your bag, getting up before seating yourself next to Xavier. Ever since you found out that he likes to sleep in, you have been taking a 'Xavier care package' with you in your school bag. It has a hairbrush, hair tie, muesli bar, and even a tiny bottle of his favorite cologne. You slowly brush his hair, making sure not to tug too hard.
The bell rings just as you throw the brush back in your bag as Xavier now also stands up, taking your tray in one hand and his own in the other, quickly disposing of them before jogging back to you.
"Thank you for breakfast," he grins, bumping his shoulder into yours before slinging his bag over his shoulder.
When you go to reach for your bag, you see that it has already disappeared as Xavier holds it in his hands.
"Time for Botany!"
-
Botany is a subject that is almost like second nature to you. You have grown up with the ability to control plants and flowers, being able to make them move and grow in the exact pattern you wish them to. In some magical way, you and Xavier were the first ones to sit down in the classroom, taking your usual seat in the front of the class.
"Hey," Ajax greets the two of you before sitting down at the table behind you.
"Morning, Ajax!"
"Man," he rubs his face. "Did you hear about the new girl?"
You shake your head, turning around fully to face the Gorgon.
"Yeah, Enid told me that it is her new roommate or something. Apparently, she got kicked out of her old school because she murdered and ate a kid."
A laugh escapes from both Xavier and you. Nevermore would not let a murderer into their grounds.
"Dude," Xavier chuckles. "Whatever you just smoked, share some with us tonight."
"Good morning, everyone!"
The red-headed teacher stands in front of the class, clapping her hands as she points to a plant that seems to be hidden underneath a glass case and a thin, red fabric.
"Today marks the very start of a new... Genre! But first," she looks over at the table next to yours. "Wednesday. Welcome! We are thrilled to have you join us on our journey into the world of carnivorous plants!"
She pulls the fabric off of the glass case, smiling brightly at the white flower underneath it.
"So, who can tell us the name of this beauty?"
Bianca holds up her hand, ready to answer it. She knows almost as much about Botany as you do.
"Dendrophylax lindenii."
You raise an eyebrow as Bianca looks to the side, confused. Instead of waiting for her turn, Wednesday had just taken it upon herself to answer the question.
"Otherwise known as the ghost orchid," Bianca only smiles, looking Wednesday up and down.
"First discovered on the Isle of Wight in 1854," Wednesday then continues as Thornhill is visibly surprised by her knowledge.
"Well, Wednesday," the teacher taps her chin. "Perhaps you can identify the ghost orchid's greatest qualities."
"Resilience and adaptability."
There is no second of thinking, of doubt. The answer flies out of her mouth in a millisecond, and the answer is not even wrong. Though, the girl speaks with enough confidence to make any answer seem right.
"It's able to thrive in even the most hostile environments."
"But," Bianca grins at her. "Its mere presence can change the ecosystem, causing the established plants to reject it."
The two bicker back and forth as you hide your laugh behind your face, leaning toward Xavier.
"Is this still about plants?" He whispers, a grin also stuck on his face as he looks at the two girls in amusement.
"Thank you, ladies," Thornhill just quickly nods, trying to break off whatever fight the two girls have. "Very... Illuminating insights. Now-"
You do not pay a lot of attention during the rest of the class. You knew all that needed to be known. Xavier scribbled in his notebook, his attention also far to be seen.
-
Wednesday seems to be the center of attention at Nevermore. Not only did she already get into two fights with Bianca, but she also is a huge mystery. What is her power, outside of being dark and sinister?
"Can you hand me the black paint?"
You look up from the flower that you were slowly starting to grow, taking the tub of paint before handing it to Xavier. He is busy painting the small boat for the Poe Cup. He had tried to get you to join the Ophelia Hall team, but you decided against it. You enjoyed watching the Poe Cup, but to actually participate? No.
Xavier thanks you before you both get to your own activities again. The sun is shining as you slowly move your fingers, still staring at the patch of grass as the small flower grows and grows.
"Y/N?"
You hum, the flower slowly stretching out to touch Xavier his shoes.
"Wanna do my make-up for the Cup?"
-
"Xavier! Sit still," you laugh, pulling the brush back. "I only have five more minutes to finish this!"
The boy was getting restless as you stood in front of him, trying to finish up on the clown paint on his face. He was now getting bored, distracting you from your work.
It had only taken you two more minutes to finish the red color as you step back, a proud grin on your face.
"See! Wasn't that hard!"
Xavier hops over to the mirror, observing your job before smiling and nodding.
"If I didn't know any better, then I would have thought that you had the power of Animation."
"Dude?"
Ajax pokes his head around the corner, waving at you with a smile before turning back to his friend.
"We have to get to the boats, man."
"You will be cheering me on, right?"
"Pssh," you smirk. "Always."
-
Xavier had been a bit distant after the Poe Cup. You had heard through Kent and Divina that Wednesday had suddenly shown up in the Nightshade library and that your friend had tried to get her to join, only to be rejected.
You get pulled out of your thoughts when you get an envelope from Coach Vlad. You quietly thank him as you look up at the principal.
"... I trust that you will all put your best face forward!"
You open the envelope as neat letters spell out 'Weathervane, Jericho'. It could have been worse. If you were stuck in Pilgrim World for an entire day, then you probably would have just run away to the woods, hiding in a bush before it was time to come back out.
Ajax pops up from right behind you, holding his envelope in front of you.
"Uriah's Heap?" You raise your eyebrow with a grin.
"Uh-uh," he nods, "Apparently Xavier really wanted it. But, I heard from Wednesday that Enid is also going to be there."
He still had a crush on Enid? You look behind him, seeing Wednesday and Enid standing close, though Wednesday is still deadpanned.
"Um," you awkwardly shift your weight to your other foot. "Well... What did Xavier get?"
"Weathervane."
"Why did he want to switch?"
You knew why. He hated Tyler with his entire might.
"Long story. Basically, Wednesday had Uriah's Heap, but then switched with Enid to go to Pilgrim World instead. Now me and Enid are going to be at the Heap! What did you get?"
"Weathervane."
"Oh! At least you aren't going to be alone. You will have Xavier!"
You look to your right, seeing Xavier standing there with a slightly disappointed look.
"Yeah."
-
Xavier did not even look at you while you were in the bus to Jericho. Instead, he got out of the vehicle as one of the first ones, Wednesday soon catching up to him. Staring at a blank wall, how interesting could that be? You just make your way past them and toward your workplace for today, not noticing the burning eyes of Xavier on the back of your head.
"Hey! Nevermore kid, right?"
The bell rang above your head as you see a brunette boy standing in front of you, a big, goofy smile on his face. He is wearing a brown shirt and a dark red apron.
"Yeah, that's me," you nod with a small smile. "I am Y/N."
"Perfect! Uh, was there going to be someone else?"
He blinks for a second, shaking his head quickly before awkwardly laughing.
"Not- Not that you aren't enough! I just mean-"
"No problem," you chuckle. "I heard that there should be someone else."
"Okay," the boy nods. "I am Tyler, by the way. I will be guiding you through the craft of coffee making today!"
You are already dressed with the t-shirt and the dark red apron when Xavier finally comes in. Tyler immediately tenses up a bit as he walks up to the counter, the piece of paper with 'Weathervane' in his hand.
"I'm supposed to be here."
Tyler nervously looks at you before straightening his back, nodding at the boy in front of him.
"Yeha, I uh, I will get you an apron," Tyler turns to you. "You can make yourself a drink if you would like. Consider it as practice."
You thank him with a smile on your face. This is the first time in a while that you are with just Xavier again, but he almost seems less than happy.
"So," you grab a cup from the counter. "Any drinks? I can make you a cappuccino?"
He shakes his head, dropping his bag behind the counter before taking the apron out of Tyler his hands. Your friend doesn't say a word while you only return to finishing up your hot chocolate. There is no one in the Weathervane yet, so you might as well enjoy it for as long as you can.
The small bell dings above the entrance as Principal Weems comes in. Tyler greets her with a smile as he places the cappuccino that you were practicing on to the side.
"You want to try?"
You shrug.
"Sure," you respond with a smile, before turning to Principal Weems. "Hi! How can I help you, Principal Weems?"
She smiles at you sweetly before scanning the menu.
"Ah, I will settle for a latte macchiato and a slice of the apple cake, please.
You shoot Tyler a confused look. You had never used the register before, or even heard of a latte. He only smiles, reassuring you before stepping a bit closer, showing you how the register works.
"So, the pastries are here," he clicks on the apple cake. "And then a latte."
He is leaning over you as he presses different buttons. He is so close to you, that you can smell the fresh scent of his perfume. Tyler finishes up the order as Principal Weems sits down in a booth, flipping through pages of her notebook.
Tyler doesn't leave you behind though, as he shows you how to make the drink to perfection. You have never even made anything like this, but it actually is quite fun.
"So, everything on a tray," the cup and the small plate get placed onto one. "And then it's ready! Xavier, you want to bring it?"
He doesn't say anything, instead just lifting up the tray before walking over to the principal.
"Weren't the two of you, like, friends?" He whispers quickly.
You were always in the Weathervane with Xavier. Sure, the tall boy has quite a history with the artist, but the way he acts now seems out of place, even to him.
"Yeah," you nod. "He's been ignoring me, though."
-
The day flies by. You have made more coffee than you had expected to make, but luckily you are able to drink as much as you want. It is nearing two pm, and you have already downed four hot chocolates.
"Aren't you supposed to be at Pilgrim World?"
You almost think that Xavier is talking to you, but when you look up, you see him standing next to Wednesday. The pig-tailed girl turns around, facing him while shaking her head.
"I left to preserve some of my sanity."
"Could I make you a drink? One of the many perks of this wonderful job," he sarcastically says, leaning against the counter.
For the entire day, he had not spoken a word to you. But now, now that Wednesday is here, he immediately finds back his voice. The girl raises one eyebrow before shaking her head.
"I need to talk to Tyler."
The grin that sat on Xavier his face quickly drops as you just breathe in deeply.
"Hey, Wednesday," you quickly smile. "I uh, I will get Tyler. He is having his break right now."
She nods as you walk away from behind the counter, passing Xavier before making it to the small room in the back. Tyler decided to take his break now as there weren't too many guests yet. He is looking down at his phone, only looking up when he hears your footsteps.
"Oh, hey!"
"Hey," you point to the door. "Wednesday is here. Said she needed to talk to you?"
"Uh, yeah! Yeah, I'm coming."
You nod before taking a deep breath, looking at the clock on the wall. You then follow Tyler out of the small room and go back to your place behind the counter. Wednesday and Tyler soon engage in a hushed conversation as Xavier looks away, walking around to pick up things from the tables again. He seems upset, and though you want to help him, you aren't sure if you can. It is almost like he is... jealous.
"Y/N? Do you know how to make a Quad?"
"For sure!"
"In a to-go cup," Wednesday tells you before turning back to the papers on the table.
It takes only a few minutes before the small cup is placed on the counter. Wednesday takes it before walking off, not sparing anyone else a look. Xavier, however, follows her with his eyes, not even looking away from the window after she long has disappeared.
Maybe he didn't feel the same way about you as you did about him. You always thought so - normal best friends didn't cuddle or even share secret kisses.
-
It was after school, and you decided to make a trip down to the art shed to go see Xavier. He had not really been responding to your texts, and you were slowly starting to get worried. What if he had nightmares again? You knew that he barely took care of himself in times like that, so you had bought some of his favorite foods and drinks to bring to him. You had checked with Ajax to see if he knew where your friend was, but he knew of nothing.
You and Xavier are- were inseparable, always together, wherever you were. But now, you had not really spoken to him in weeks. The bag is quite heavy, but nothing you couldn't handle. You hum when you enter the woods, your fingers tingling as small flowers sprout up when you walk. Your mood is surprisingly happy, hoping to see Xavier and spend some time with him.
It is not like you have never been to the art shed - if anything, you are one of the only people at Nevermore that knows about its existence, let alone of its whereabouts. You get closer and closer to the small building, your other hand now holding the bag as a small patch of daisies stays behind.
You walk a bit slower when you already hear voices coming from the shed.
"... over Ms. Thornhill's homework assignment."
Homework from Ms. Thornhill? She didn't assign any - she specifically stated it.
"She... She didn't give us homework."
It's Xavier.
You peak out from behind the tree, seeing Xavier standing there, Wednesday Addams opposite of him.
"Remember?" He chuckles. "Why are you really out here?"
The pig-tailed girl stays quiet, her eyes never leaving Xavier as he grins, an eyebrow raised before leaning down just a tiny bit.
"Wait," he lets out a soft laugh. "Is this about a certain dance that makes you want to poke needles into your eyes, perhaps?"
The Rave'n? He had promised months ago that he would go with you, so why is he bringing it up now? Not to mention that Wednesday is probably less than excited for it. She almost looks distraught as she swallows, a grimace almost on her face.
"I'm all ears."
There he stands, with that stupid grin that you so wished was pointed towards you. But instead, he is standing there with someone that would not even care if he died. Wednesday seems deep in thought, trying to go over the choices she actually has.
"Are you really going to make me ask?"
"Oh," he exclaims, that smile never leaving his face. "Absolutely."
Wednesday sighs, her hands clasped together as she tries to find any words to get it out.
"Would you," she pauses. "Would... Would you possibly consider going to the Rave'n dance with a certain..."
Xavier nods, his hands resting in his pockets as he looks at the pig-tailed girl, an amused look in his eyes.
"Would- Would you go to the dance with me?"
She is not even stuttering because she is shy, or scared he is going to reject her. No. She has just never uttered those words in her life, and she does not wish for it to happen again. You swallow thickly, your eyes falling to the bag in your hands as you hear more chuckles coming from your best friend. The plants around you slowly start wilting.
"Yes, Wednesday, I would love to go to the dance with you." He shrugs. "I thought you would never ask."
You immediately turn on your heels, rushing back to your dorm room. You do not care who follows you, all you care about is getting as far away from Xavier as possible. Not only did he ignore you, but now he is going to the Rave'n with Wednesday, though you were certain that you agreed on going together.
"God, I can't wait for Rave'n next year," you sighed, scrolling through your phone.
You were supposed to attend the dance, but Nevermore had to cancel it because of a fire that had broken out in the lower part of the school.
"Still going with George next year?"
"No! He told me that he only wanted to take me because someone bet on it."
Xavier grimaces, shaking his head before plopping down on his bed.
"Good, he is an ass anyway."
"What about you? Any date for next year?"
"Hm," he thinks. "Not really. We can always go together. You and me."
What a lie that was. The Rave'n is only in three days, and the end of the school year will be in just two weeks after that.
-
It has barely been twenty-four hours since you had seen Xavier and Wednesday at the art shed. You were sitting at breakfast, quietly pushing your food around with your fork.
"God," Divina sits down next to you, "Did you not get any sleep?"
"I wish," you let out a sigh. "Just dreading to go to the Rave'n."
"Why? I thought you had a dress and everything already."
You glance at the Siren who is sipping her drink, a curious look in her eyes as she leans on the table.
"I was supposed to go with Xavier. We agreed on that, like, half a year ago. But yesterday, Wednesday asked him out and he said yes!"
"What a guy," she shakes her head. "He has been acting strange for like, weeks now. Not that he wasn't strange before. No offense."
"Tell me about it," you let out a giggle, sipping your apple juice before pushing the tray back.
"If you don't want a date, you can always tag along with me!"
-
It is ten thirty when you hear a knock on your dorm door. Your roommate was going to be out for a bit, sneaking around with her partner, and besides, she had the key. Who else would show up? Especially during the time you should be sleeping. You let out a sigh when you hear another knock, slowly standing up to open the door.
Behind it stands Xavier, a glum look on his face as he lets out a shaky sigh. He fiddles with the hem of his shirt, something he only did when he was nervous.
"Xavier?"
"Yeah," a small smile. "Can I please come in? Thornhill will kill me if she sees me here."
You stick your head out of the door before pulling him in, quietly closing the door behind him as you turn around to face him.
"Haven't seen you in a while."
It almost felt weird to stand this close to him, the smell of his perfume and paint sticking to his clothes. His hair is loosely tied in a small bun, a style that always resulted in him stealing your hair ties.
"I just... I need you."
You frown, sitting down on your bed before tapping next to you. Are you mad and disappointed that he ignored you? Yes. But he must have seen that he was acting weird.
"Wednesday thinks I am some sort of monster. Asked me out to the Rave'n as some type of disguise."
He slowly sits down as well, staring at his hands as you reach over into the bag that you had brought for him today. You take the small bag of Skittles out of it, placing it on his lap. His lips push together in a smile, looking over at you.
"I'm sorry for ignoring you. There is just-" Another sigh. "The nightmares came back. Even worse than before."
You grimace, pulling your knees up to your chest.
"God," you shake your head. "You okay?"
"Outside the fact that my art is starting to attack me and that I haven't slept in a few days, kind of."
He opens the pack of Skittles, holding it out to you before taking a Skittle himself.
"I'm sorry Wednesday did that to you," you then finally mumble.
Sure, you wished you were with him instead, but he did not deserve that to happen to him.
"I deserved it," he shrugs. "After ignoring my best friend, I deserve some karma. I'm so, so sorry."
You look up at him, his eyes pulling you in as you let out a trembly sigh. What are you supposed to say?
"As long as you never do it again," you smile softly.
"What about the Rave'n? You and me."
You are quiet for a second. It is exactly what he said before, and you should not forget that he ignored you for weeks. But, going all by yourself will also suck.
"Only if you promise to match with me," you grin.
"Oh, always!"
-
It is the night of the Rave'n and you were putting on your last few items. Xavier was going to have some black ribbons with his outfit, so you knew that you wanted some as well. He had cut some off for you, which you happily tied into your hair and around your wrists. After spritzing some perfume on your neck and wrists, you hear a knock on your door.
You quickly walk toward it, opening it to reveal Xavier, neatly dressed in his suit and his hair pushed out of his face.
"Wow," he mumbles, clearing his throat before smiling, holding out his arm. "Ready?"
"Ready!"
The music gets louder the closer you get to the party, Ms. Thornhill standing in front of the door to greet everyone. You look up at Xavier with a big smile on your face. You are finally here, with him, at the Rave'n. It could not have been any better. There are curtains with warm fairy lights that reflect in his eyes. He looks beautiful.
After greeting Ajax and his date, you both sit down at a table, drinking some Yeti-tinis while talking about everything you possibly could. You missed him, and he had missed you. Ajax and his date had also decided to sit down at your table, and even Divina had found her way over to the two of you.
Xavier his hand had ghosted over your knees and thighs multiple times, the touch of his fingers so soft as it almost felt like you imagined it.
"Woah, check that out!" Ajax points to the door, a surprised look on his face. "Wednesday totally busted out of her cocoon."
Wednesday walks into the party, almost looking disgusted as she hears the music and sees the people. The thing that confused you more was Tyler Galpin standing next to her. Did she really pick Tyler? Your eyes slide over to Xavier, his eyes trained on the girl as his eyebrows are furrowed. His jaw is clenched and his fists are resting on his lap.
"Xav? You okay?"
You knew all about the things Tyler did to him, including the last Outreach Day. He shrugs you off, shaking his head before letting out a sigh.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Never better."
It took Wednesday not even one second to erase all the effort that you had put into cheering Xavier up. It had only taken some more seconds before the boy stood up, making his way through the crowd of people while leaving you behind. You should have expected this. You chew on your cheek as you shake your head, blinking a few times before crossing your arms.
"Hey! No, nothing of that," Divina shakes her head, standing up before grabbing your hands. "I am your date now!"
The dancing cheered you up. No matter if it was a slow dance, or if you were jumping up and down, it helped a lot. You had not seen Xavier again until the next song was playing. He was sitting in the same seat, his eyes looking into the crowd, and for a second, you thought that he was looking for you.
But no.
In the middle of the room stood Wednesday. Dancing. Something you never expected to see. And it didn't only catch your attention, but also his.
You took this as a chance to get another Yeti-tini, waiting for the song to end while still looking at Xavier.
"Y/N, come on! It's the last dance!"
Fuck it. You are going to have fun.
Divina pulls you onto the dance floor, jumping up and down while twirling you around. Laughs escape your lips as you are surrounded by your friends, it is everything you could wish for.
The fun doesn't last too long, though, as some sort of liquid comes falling down from the ceiling. You pause for a second, looking down at your clothes before realizing that the liquid is red.
"Come on, let's go!"
You are confused, still standing in the same position while trying to get out, but the floor is slippery and your shoes make it even harder to try and find your way out. You bump into Xavier as you both try to get out, but the only thing he does is keep walking.
That was it.
-
"An early leave?"
You slowly nod.
"It is a family get-away. Something that only happens every ten years. We uh, we go and restore plants and forests that need it."
Principal Weems looks at you, an eyebrow raised before looking down at her laptop.
"I see," she nods. "Well, it seems that you did have perfect attendance and grades during this year. Any more tests or essays that need to be made?"
"No," you respond. "Everything has been handed in already."
"Good," the woman looks up at you, a sweet smile on her face. "Only this once. I assume you will be leaving next Wednesday?"
The word makes your throat tighten as you shake your head.
"Actually... Would tomorrow be okay?"

Ight so you mentioned about getting high with Enid, and it got me thinking...
Imagine Sophia didn't die. Lydia and Henry are there. And ofc, Carl.
Cept' they're all the same age right. And it's just all TWD teens getting to experience (sorta) typical teenage shit, ykwim?
Just playing silly games together, getting high, getting drunk, teasing Enid and reader, telling eachother some of their secrets, telling ghost stories, etc.
I hope this makes sense lol :)
i’m so in love with this request. Sophia held such a place in my heart :’)) i hope you enjoy! i’m definitely gonna try and do this request justice bc i have a vision in my head that i really wanna adapt into this story. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
warnings: weed & alcohol. one sexual joke. (please smoke and drink responsibly !!!)
A/N: hope you all enjoy! and as always, requests are open! just read pinned to see all rules if you want to request 🫶🏻🫶🏻
“alright!” you shouted, the biggest smile on your face. you held up a case of beer, “guess who managed to sneak into Daryl’s stash?”
everyone cheered, making you laugh. Lydia ran up to you, “how did you manage to do that?!” she asked, looking at you with disbelief. “i have my ways,” you smirked.
you brought the case over to your small circle of friends. Carl, Enid, Sophia, Lydia and Henry. they were all here with you.
you sat next to Enid, pressing a kiss to her cheek as you handed her a bottle. “you practically risked your life for us,” she joked lightly. you shrugged, “i’ll find a new one for him.”
Lydia sat back down next to Henry. you watched with a soft smile as he wrapped his arms over her, kissing her head.
it was rare to have a night like this. so rare in fact that this is the first night you guys were able to finally all be together, acting like nothing bad was just right outside the gates of your home.
Enid tapped your shoulder, when you turned around she held out a handful of joints. your smile grew wider. “you’re the best girlfriend ever, do you know that?”
“i do.” she smiled cheekily. you pushed her shoulder. “guys! Enid brought some joints as well, we all get one each.” you announced. everyone gasped and reached to grab their own.
“this is seriously like, the best night ever.” Carl said, taking a sip of the beer. “i mean, we’ve never gotten to hang out like this together. if you think about it, it’s really the first time we’ve been able to act like… what we actually are. just teens.”
that’s all you guys were. teens who were forced into this broken world at such an early age. none of you got to grow up the way you were supposed to.
everyone was silent for a moment, taking in Carl’s words. “then let’s make the best of tonight.” Henry smiled, holding up his bottle of beer. you all agreed, clinking your bottles together. it felt like a cliche, but that’s what made it even better.
after everyone’s third beer, Carl sighed. “god, i remember the day this shit started.” he sighed. “my… mom rushing to pack my clothes, all of our pictures. before i really knew it, we have a camp by the quarry.”
“that’s where the three of us met.” Sophia said, pointing between you, her and Carl. “you guys met that long ago?” Lydia asked.
you all nodded, “yeah uh, Sophia was with her mom, Carl had his, i uh… lost mine already at that point, but Glenn found me in the woods. brought me back with him to their camp.”
“wow. so you guys have been through like… everything together.” Lydia said. “pretty much. yeah.” Carl chuckled.
at this point, everyone had started to feel the effects of the beer kick in. “okay, let’s play a game.” Enid said, clapping her hands. “if we want to get a true teen experience, we need to play something. like Never Have I Ever.” she said.
“that sounds fun.” you told her, “yeah! lets do it.”
“okay, rules, if you’ve done what someone asks you have to drink. for example, if i asked everyone if you ever fell into a pile of dead walkers and proceeded to stay there for five minutes because you were… comfortable… Y/N would take a drink.”
you stared at her, biting the inside of your cheek to hold back your laugh as everyone roared in laughter around you. “now why would you say that.”
“because you quite literally did that.” she responded. you pushed her shoulder again and took a sip of the beer. “okay, i have one.” you spoke up.
“uh oh.” Carl mumbled.
“never have i ever had a sex dream in front of half our group and proceeded to moan my name for three minutes straight.” Enid’s eyes widened as her face flushed red. “you did what?!” Sophia laughed.
“you are evil.” Enid told you. you smirked and shrugged, “take a sip, sweetheart.”
“okay, okay.” Carl said. you lit your joint, gesturing the lighter towards Enid to silently ask if she wanted hers lit too. she nodded and held out her joint for you to light it.
Carl’s mouth formed into a smirk, “never have i ever been late to a community meeting because i was too busy having sex with my girlfriend at eight in the morning.”
it was silent between the six of you, and then you and Enid slowly took a sip of your beers. “there’s no way.” Lydia said, staring at both of you with shock.
“i’m not appreciating the fact that we’re being targeted.” you said. “you guys started it.” Carl said. “okay, we need to think of something else before they expose everything about us.” Enid laughed, taking a hit from her joint.
“oh, i know what we could do.” Sophia said almost mischievously. “classic sleepover activity. ghost stories.” she proposed.
“oh yes. lets do it!” Lydia said. “i have one. i have literally never stopped thinking about it since it happened. you were there, Henry.” she started.
“remember the abandoned asylum we found?” she asked him. he thought for a moment before his mouth dropped open slightly. “oh yeah! that was so scary.”
everyone had started to light their joints as well, getting prepared for the stories. “it was a few months ago. me and Henry snuck out of Hilltop to just walk around. like how you and Enid do. we ended up at this really scary looking building that turned out to be an asylum.”
“where was it?” you questioned before she continued the story. “i think it was by the Target we used to go to for runs.” she answered.
“but anyways- we walked inside and this place instantly had a vibe to it that clearly was not welcoming. but we went further in anyways. there was this one room that we walked into, and Henry decided he wanted to try and summon something,”
Lydia gave Henry a look as she said that, and he put his hands up in defense, making you all laugh. “tell them what you did.” she told him.
“i uh,” he laughed. “i started to throw insults in the air. like ‘dumbass ghost’ and shit like that. and to be fair, i was pissing it off a lot. but um, after around five minutes i said something along the lines of ‘you’re too scared to face us” or some shit, and precisely two seconds after that, there was a vase that was behind us, it fell over and shattered completely.”
“famous last words.” you joked. “you forgot the other part.” Lydia told him. “the other..? OH!” Henry pulled his sleeve up, showcasing two scratch marks. “that also happened.”
all of your eyes widened, “what?!” Sophia yelled. “it scratched you?!” he nodded, laughing. “yeah, we got the hell out of there after that obviously. but yeah. do not go into that asylum. i can already see Y/N and Enid planning it.”
“oh fuck no. we are not going there.” Enid said, despite your whine. “but it sounds cool!” Enid shook her head, “you’re actually insane.”
everyone started talking amongst themselves, but you couldn’t help but take in all of your surroundings. your best friends sitting in yours and Enid’s house. the one that you owned together, which was something you never thought would ever be possible again.
you’d never thought you’d make it this far, and if you did, you figured you’d be miserable. but you’re not. everything was coming into place so perfectly. having a girlfriend you knew you couldn’t wait to marry, still having Carl and Sophia by your side throughout all of those years in the apocalypse, taking in Henry and saving Lydia. you finally had what you lost so many years ago.
there was no better feeling than the one you felt right now. maybe it was because you were drunk or high, but you wished this sense of euphoria would stay forever. you hoped you could all still be together like this years from now.
“hey,” Enid said softly, nudging your shoulder. “you’re out of it. what’s wrong?” she asked.
you smiled and shook your head. “nothings wrong. i’m just… really happy.” you admitted. “and god i love you. so fucking much.”
Enid giggled, leaning in to kiss your lips. “i love you too, pretty. so, so much.” you hummed against her lips, “wish we can stay like this with everyone forever.”
“then let’s do it.” she said. “it will always be us. forever.”
“forever.” you repeated. “yeah. that sounds good.” you smiled, leaning in to kiss her once more, ignoring everyone’s fake gags and groans.

Could you do one where ajax and the reader are dating and the reader never been drunk
Rowan suggests she should losen up and take a few shots , he gets her properly drunk and yoko calls ajax to help take care of her and when ajax finds out rowan got her drunk he goes up to him and slaps him our of his chair and then takes care of the reader and its very Fluffy?
i'm starting to suspect that y'all hate rowan and love to see ajax punching someone, this makes me giggle.
I feel like that this is really bad but I hope you like it </3
DRUNK
protective!Ajax Petropolus x gn!reader
summary: when you finally accept the invite to one of your friend's parties but it didn't really go well.
WARNINGS! spiking drinks, kinda of violent, asshole!Rowan, steamy make outs, vomiting and fluffiness.
But after she begged you to go, you finally gave in, it was a one time thing and your boyfriend would be there along with other friends, it wouldn't be that bad.
Right?
Right?
— My love, you don't really have to go, seriously, it's not like I don't want you to go, but I know that you're not the loud crowd person- Ajax whispered while combing your hair.
— It will be okay Jax and I have you, I'll be fine- you smiled to him and he sighed pecking your lips.
— Whatever you say my love- he smiled and took his jacket, throwing it over your shoulders- Are you really sure?- he asked and you laughed.
— Yeah Jax! I'm sure, just don't leave my side and I'll be okay- you kissed his lips and he hugged your waist.
— Okay, but if you feel overwhelmed...- you interrupt him with another kiss.
— I'll ask to leave, I promise- you said and he nodded.
When you two showed up in the party, it was really a surprise, not the Ajax part but you, Yoko knew you agreed but didn't had sure that you were actually going.
— Y/N! YOU REALLY CAME!- Enid jumped her way to you and hugged your neck.
— Enid, do you have something non alcoholic?- Ajax asked and you smiled thankfully, you really hated drinking.
— Yeah! Yoko thought that if you showed up you wouldn't want to drink, come on!- she dragged the two to the kitchen.
You put down your cup and Ajax pulled you to his lap, his arm around your waist as he talked to his friends, the boy would pull you into a kiss whenever the guys stopped talking to him, making you giggle with his affection.
— Y/N! AJAX!- Rowan approached you two with red cups- Want something to drink?- he smiled and you could notice that he was really drunk.
— Thanks Rowan, but I'll stay with my grape juice, I don't like the taste of alcohol- you politely said and you could feel Ajax's glares at the boy.
— Yeah, I'm good too- Ajax smiled sarcastically while pulling you closer.
— Oh come on, you guys are no fun, it's a party! Drink!- he exclaimed and shoved the drinks in your faces, Ajax rolled his eyes and pushed the cups away.
— They said no, Rowan, just go!- your boyfriend said and Rowan shrugged walking away.
— Thanks baby- you said and he kissed your cheek.
— No worries my love, Rowan is really annoying when he is drunk- he said and you laughed kissing his lips.
Ajax pulled you into a more quiet part of the place, kissing you lovingly, your hands on his neck as you could feel his snakes nibbling at your skin, he left a trail of sloppy kisses from your mouth to your neck, unfortunately your moment were ruined when one of his friends interrupted.
— Yo! Ajax, wanna smoke?- he asked and Ajax groaned but you knew he wanted to go, he was holding back to stay with you and you didn't wanted him to do that.
— You can go baby- you whispered and pecked the pout on his lips.
— I don't want to leave you alone though- he muttered and you smiled with his worry.
— I'll try to find the girls, don't worry- he kissed you one last time.
— I promise I'll be quick, call me if you need something- he kissed your head and went to go smoke.
You decided to find Yoko, blending in the middle of the people, you found the vampire dancing with Divina but before you could reach her, someone held you back.
— What's up Y/N?- Rowan.
— Hey Rowan, need something?- you asked.
— Yeah, you need to loosen up! Come on, it's not that bad!- he shoved the cup on your face.
— Really Rowan, I don't like the taste of it- you sighed and pushed him away, walking to the kitchen, you took a clean cup and filled it with grape juice that wasn't spiked, Enid threatened to pull the 'Wednesday card' if someone spiked the only thing you drank.
— It doesn't taste like alcohol though, come on, just a sip!- he insisted and you rolled your eyes taking the cup, you took a small sip and it already burned your throat.
You coughed while Rowan laughed loudly.
— It's good, isn't it?- he asked and you immediately gulped down the juice.
— No, it's horrible!- you groaned and looked around, you lost Yoko again and Enid or Bianca were nowhere to be seen.
Sighing, you walked to the couches and sat down, Rowan sat on your side.
— I'll keep you company while Ajax is smoking- he shrugged and you nodded, your worst mistake was leaving your cup on the table while you scrolled through your socials.
Rowan looked around and took the chance that you were distracted to pour some of his drink inside of your cup, an amount that you wouldn't notice at first.
He smirked when you drank the 'grape juice'.
Rowan conquered to shove down some more drinks in your system and adding the times he added more and more alcohol on your cup without you noticing, you were starting o feel lightheaded and your vision was getting distorted.
— Sorry, I need to go to the bathroom- you muttered and when you got up, you almost fell.
Luckily, Kent was passing by with Yoko and he quickly nudged her and pointed at you.
— Holy shit, Ajax is going to kill me!- Yoko made her way to you- Y/N, are you okay?- she asked worriedly and you looked at her with a little smile.
— Yeah, did you know that I love Ajax? He is so pretty- you babbled and she looked at Kent panicked, you tried to walk but tripped on your own feet, Kent held you so you didn't fall- Oh hi Ken! You're a gentleman but I really love Jaxy- you chuckled and Yoko's eyes darted to Rowan, who was looking away.
Then, she noticed your cup, she took it and saw that was the grape juice she left for you, but when she pulled it close she could smell the strong scent of alcohol inside of it.
— ROWAN YOU FUCKING SPIKED Y/N'S DRINK?- she shouted madly and Kent were trying to keep you stead but the moment you got up all the alcohol went right into your head, so it was kinda hard.
Since it was your first time drinking, it really hit you hard, so even if it appeared a small amount, your body wasn't used to that, being easy to get drunk in minutes.
— Kent, can you watch her? I need to find Ajax- Yoko begged and the siren nodded.
— Yeah, I'll go back to the girls- he said and easily picked you up, you giggled.
— Weee- you said and Kent laughed, making his way to the couch where your friends were.
— Oh my God- Enid panicked- Ajax is going to kill us- she widened her eyes.
— AJAX!- Yoko shouted and the boy looked at her- Rowan got Y/N drunk- she said and the boy's eyes almost jumped out of his skull.
— WHAT? YOKO!- he threw the joint away and ran back inside, his eyes quickly found Rowan and Ajax was furious.
Rowan couldn't even think before Ajax's fist found his face, the boy falling off the couch.
— DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS A NO ROWAN? STUPID ASSHOLE- he shouted because of the loud music, Rowan tried to find his inhaler, but Ajax was so mad that he kicked the inhaler away, quickly trying to find you- I swear to God, I'll fucking kill him if I don't distract my mind- he groaned to himself.
Ajax finally spotted you laughing with a worried Bianca, he ran to you and finally breathed.
— AJAX! I'M SO SORRY!- Enid panicked.
— Jax? Jaxy!!- you got up but tripped again, he held you against his chest, your arms slumped around his neck.
— Oh Jesus love, what the fuck did you drink?- he asked worried.
— Rowan spiked her juice- Yoko said and all of them widened their eyes- They really hate alcohol, I don't think they would drink it so freely, principally coming from Rowan, maybe a sip or two but not to get in... this state- Yoko sighed- You should go, it's their first time getting drunk- she said and Ajax didn't thought twice before picking you up, you laughed trying to kiss his cheek but poorly missing it.
— Yeah, someone please kill Rowan for me before I do it myself- Ajax muttered and walked out of the party.
— Are you mad Jaxy?- you pouted, the alcohol finally starting to wash off your system.
— Not at you my love- he whispered and opened the door to his room- Do you want some help?- he took off his jacket and you nodded.
Ajax helped you but always turning his head to not look at your body, he felt bad looking right now.
— Jax- you whispered poking his waist, he hummed and looked at you.
— Yes my love?- he asked and you kneeled on the bed, kissing his lips, he chuckled- Love, as much as I love you, I really don't want to kiss you while you're drunk, I feel bad- he whispered and kissed your forehead instead.
— You're so pretty, so, so pretty- you hugged his neck and he gently pulled you to lay down with him, he didn't cared about his clothes, the only thing on his mind was you.
— You're way more pretty than me- he whispered and caressed your head and you started to get sleepy.
— I love you- you muttered yawning.
— I love you more- he said and it wasn't long until you were completely knocked out on his chest.
When you woke up, your head was screaming, the light made it worse and your limbs were aching, you were wasted.
— Hey love, good morning- Ajax voice echoed in your head and you groaned shoving your face back on his chest, he chuckled- I can close the windows for you- he whispered.
— Just stay- you muttered and he hugged your body, trying to cover your face from the light, his fingers brushing your hair, slowly the headache were starting to get bearable.
— You need to drink water love- he said but before you could even reply, you felt the hot and sour liquid crawling up your throat.
You ran to the bathroom and soon Ajax was by your side, rubbing your back.
— I got drunk?- you whispered and he nodded with a sad smile on his face- Did I do something?- you panicked and he chuckled shaking his head.
— No, don't worry, Kent and Yoko found you in time- he whispered and you sighed, he helped you to brush your teeth, taking a cup of cold water and some painkillers.
— I feel horrible- you muttered and he hugged your waist.
— It was your first time drinking, it is pretty bad- he whispered.
— I don't remember anything, I swear I was drinking grape juice- you said and Ajax's jaw clenched, his fist closing but he calmed down.
— Rowan spiked your drink, he probably kept filling it up with alcohol until you didn't noticed anymore- he said and you opened your mouth.
— Oh- it was the only thing that came out of your mouth.
— Don't worry about it though, I'm sorry for not being there even though I promised to- he said and you immediately shake your head.
— No, it's not your fault, I was distracted too, you need to have your fun baby and Rowan was really a jerk for doing it, but this is not your fault, I love you- you said and he smiled kissing your lips- But I'm never going to a party again- you two laughed.
— I'll keep that in mind my love- he hugged you tightly.
You loved your boyfriend.

I'm on vacation at the moment, so decided to look up the Biggles series for the first time, since it is referenced in Red Dwarf and other shows in the UK. I have an interest in children's lietrature and how it's changed over the time.
Prior to this I knew nothing about them. Just hearing the name Biggles gave me the impression that maybe they were quaint Enid Bylton / Famous Five - esq tales. Or maybe like the TinTin adventures. (plus just assumed - accurately - there would outdated themes. There is outdated language and attitudes. I wasn't surprised to hear about that.)
However, going by the GoodRead reviews I was surprised to see that they didn't glamourise war at all. They were gritty and dark, with death being a constant theme. Later reprints removed swearing and references to alcohol; for example, whisky is swapped out for lemonade. (war is ok but underage drinking? No thanks!)
So what's the story?
James Bigglesworth (the names will never not be funny) is a 16 year old, born and raised in India to civil servant parents, fluent in Hindi and Latin with a preference for writing in Hindi.
The first world war begins and James lies about being 17, so he joins the RAF a year underage.
Like so many airmen of the time he receives just a few hours instruction before he's made to fly solo. With only 15 hours of practise he's posted to France.
He sees a few colleagues killed - very quickly - and has many near misses himself. The experience turns him into a jumpy and jaded teenager, smoking and drinking to cope. Later in the series he grows into a cool and calm leader.
The initial books drew on the author's own experience of the war, and contains many accurate details about aviation and the development of its technology. The later books move towards more "adventure".
Anyway, the real reason for this post is that it's easy to see some of Ace in all this - obviously Ace is a mix of different popular heoros - but anyway I think it's easy to see how Rimmer may have shaped this persona built on what he was reading as a kid.
We don't see much of Io in the series, but as discussed before it gives off strong space imperialism vibes and a very suffocating conservative culture.
Rimmer's parents had a very clear plan for what they wanted his life to be like - the plan was that he would be a test pilot like his big brother, John.
I also think the references to Biggles provides a small hint at the conflict in Rimmer's personality. He can be very cowardly when he overthinks a situation, but then brave in other situations. Like shooing away the polymorph from Kryten. He idolises war and successful strategists but is also disgusted when he sees the consequences of fasicism happening right of him. His future self lost his morals as he rubbed shoulders with some of histories worst people, but his present day self was willing to die to avoid becoming that version of himself.
Deep down Rimmer would rather be Biggles than Napoleon, but having courage and morals is built on self-worth and self-confidence, and his parents never gave him those things. However, he does learn it over time although, Nano Rimmer does seem to be a bit of step backwards from the Rimmer who sacrificed himself in series 6 and became Ace in series 7.
In series 10, it was good to see Rimmer save the day by thinking up a strategy that didn't involve sacrificing others as pawns - like in Meltdown.

Synchroneer Enid: Tenured professor of Relative Extraplanar Access, Penetration, Egress, and Research, or REAPER Studies, for the College of Synergetics. The successful one in the family. She's seen the world turn inside out and had lunch on rocks floating in the alchemical abyssal zone between realms. Fearless, unflappable, and always prepared with a backup plan for her backup plan. Ma & Pa's favorite. Her ambition is matched only by the heights to which she piles her thick, gorgeous hair- she's the first in a generation not to start going bald right after puberty.
Troubador Rucks: Enid's daughter. Freewheeling poet and musician working hard for an easy living. Flunked out of the College of Dynamics after spending too much time doodling on her reports. Sailed away to Cantha seeking her fortune, only to fall in with the fisherfolk of a village frequently assailed by naga. Cobbled together a "motivational" combat style based on yelling and swinging a stick around. Loves with her whole heart, even if it's not a good idea.
Sidney "Smokin' Sid" Figleaf: Enid's estranged older brother. Late night host of Smoke Signals, on 103.3 KRUE, Venlin Vale Radio. Married a gorgeous Sylvari who says he "makes her laugh," he spent a good long time working on the docks beneath Rata Sum after flunking out of the College of Statics in his first year for, quote, "stickin' stuff up my nose when they didn't want me to." His career as a journalist picked up during the Pact's assault on Orr, where he found himself using radio equipment to report on the war back to the mainland. Now he's trying to live a more comfortable life, and only smokes two packs of unfiltered Shadhavar Wides a day.
The gang's all here! Coming to a Super Adventure Box near you!

Monotony
Summary? Nah.
Warnings? Yes; hurt/comfort, implied past self-harm, thoughts of self-harm, blood, injury, swords, we just stressed y'all, and Reader is gender neutral.
Translations:
Mon Chéri-My Sweetheart
(kinda how I've been feeling, heh.)
(I tried, ok. Sue me.)
———————————————————————————
Day by day there was always something going wrong, it was growing exhausting.
Y/n sighed and thought, "Today is one of the days where it seems to be piling on and it's grating on my last shred of sanity."
Y/n trudged around the halls of Nevermore doing this and that, getting everything ready for parents day and meetings that are happening later in the day.
They can't help but count all the things that have gone wrong so far that day.
*7am*
Y/n smiled as they turned over but that quickly faded into a frown when they were met with cold sheets on either side.
"What? Where are Issa and Mo?" Y/n thought.
Listening carefully, they could hear commotion coming from the living room, "Bloody hell! All we all wanted was a morning in bed but now we have to wake them up and tell them that it's not possible."
At that Y/n heaved a sigh and climbed from bed and went ahead and gotten dressed and brushed their teeth.
"This wasn't the first time, and it certainly wouldn't be the last." Y/n thought with tears in their eyes.
"Issa, I know come parents day it gets even worse. The students get rowdier, the-" Morticia was cut off by the sound of Y/n padding into the room.
Before Morticia or Larissa could even speak, Y/n spoke, "Ready for another day in hell, aka the week before parents day?"
All the other two could do was nod and agree with equally sad expressions.
*9am*
Y/n had it, their gasket was about to blow if these students didn't pay attention to what they were doing and quit yelling.
Wednesday and Enid could see that their Opie was about to lose their shit so they tried to get everyone to calm down and listen, but before Enid could let out a growl to get everyone's attention and loud "POP!" was heard.
Enid and Wednesday stared as smoke started filling the room, they slowly turned towards Y/n and watched as the vein on their forehead pulsed steadily.
Wednesday and Enid turned to each other knowing what was about to happen, but to their surprise Y/n just deflated and hollered for everyone to calmly file out of the room so it could be vented out.
The girls approached their Opie and asked if they were ok. Y/n smiled the best they could and said, "Yeah, I'm ok, Darlings."
Enid and Wednesday looked to each other once Y/n had turned around and shared a look that clearly said, "Bullshit."
Wednesday took her girlfriends hand and pulled her along knowing there wasn't much that could be done at this point, mainly because Opie was very stubborn.
Y/n could only think one thing as they got the students to the nurse to make sure no one inhaled any poisonous fumes, "Please let lunch go as planned."
*12:30pm*
Lunch was not going as planned, everything was fine one minute, and the next Y/n had to separate a werewolf and vampire.
Blood on the ground from both students was not a pleasant sight, Y/n knew Larissa was going to be fuming once Morticia had told her.
Once out of the nurses office they were called to the principal's office, both students knew that there was going to be hell to pay and all Y/n could say was, "Tough. You two wanted to fight, now you have to face the consequences."
Now that they were in the office Larissa at once laid into the two students. Neither Larissa nor Morticia was paying much attention to Y/n, if they had they would have noticed the tears of stress pricking at the other shapeshifters eyes.
This day was not good so far, Y/n could only hope that it improved.
Larissa had finished yelling and dismissed everyone, "Now Mrs. Addams, Mx. L/n, would you kindly escort the students to their classes? Thank you."
With that everyone filed out of the office and the door shut with a soft thud.
Y/n thought with a soft defeated sigh, "What's next on the itinerary for today..."
*3pm, end of school day*
Everyone was filing out of class, and everything had been relatively quiet after the last debacle, so Y/n was a tad hopeful for the end of the day.
As Y/n shut and lock the door they heard something from above, they looked up only to be met with a sword falling from its spot and coming straight down only to catch Y/n's arm.
Bleeding and defeated on all levels, Y/n trudged back to their shared apartment with Morticia and Larissa.
*Present time*
Not wanting to disturb Larissa, Y/n pushed themselves through the back entrance of the apartment.
Going through the motions of getting undressed, cleaning and bandaging the wound but something out of the ordinary happened, Y/n looked down at their arm and traced the past scars from years back.
As their hand was drifting towards the razor, they snapped back into themselves, and they quickly grabbed their dirty clothes and made sure to drop them into the sink so they could soak.
Going back to the room, Y/n had no strength left to do anything in that moment. Numb, emotionally and physically, Y/n dropped onto the bed, curled into a ball, and broke.
*9pm*
Larissa and Morticia made their way through the door of to the side of the office, noticing it was quiet and there was nothing to show that dinner was ready, Morticia glided into the kitchen but stopped short noticing the clothes in the sink.
Hearing Morticia's gasp Larissa shot into the kitchen and stopped behind her, the sink was filled with soap and bubbles, but something was different, the color of the water was red.
The two women looked at each other and started searching the apartment, calling out Y/n's name they were only met with silence.
It was never quiet, Y/n was always shooting around a corner, smiling and greeting them but there was nothing this time around.
Morticia looked at Larissa and said, "Bedroom. They have to be in the bedroom."
They made their way towards the bedroom and softly pushed open the door, the sight that greeted them broke their hearts.
Always the happy, giggly, blushing Y/n was curled on their side staring at the wall with tears rolling down their face.
Morticia knew that she and Larissa had failed in something, they had failed to notice that Y/n was slowly breaking.
Looking at Larissa, Tish nodded towards Y/n. They walked over towards the younger of the three, Morticia slipping off her heels and climbing in on one side, Larissa doing the same and slipping in on the other side, and Larissa softly spoke, "Oh Darling, I'm so sorry."
Nothing, all they were met with was silence. The two looked at one another and carefully but tightly embraced Y/n, and that was all it took.
Body shaking, broken cries clawing their way out of Y/n's throat, they were letting it all out.
Met with murmurs of love, care, support, and validation from the women, Y/n calmed down about an hour later.
Larissa spoke with tears rolling down her face as Morticia crooned Y/n's f/s softly, "Oh sweetheart, we are so very sorry. We should have been paying attention, we should have seen it, we should have done something... anything. I'm sorry, my love. I'm so sorry."
Larissa placed a soft kiss upon the old scars and the fresh wound as Morticia spoke, "Our sweet Y/n, I'm sorry we put so much on your shoulders, I'm sorry that we weren't here to help, I'm so very sorry that we have neglected you, mon chéri. From here on out we will make sure to make time during the day and prioritize our time and well-being over work."
Y/n couldn't say anything but snuggle deeper in the hold of the two women, hearing Morticia croon softly between laying firm kisses upon their head and Larissa squeezing tighter, Y/n drifted off to sleep.
Noticing the younger of the three had fallen asleep, Morticia and Larissa made a silent promise to each other and to Y/n, they would never neglect their time together or their precious, bubbly Y/n, ever again.

This is my first time writing on PC! It's so much easier :)
Okay, remember how I wrote the bit about Enid going through a depressive episode in 2nd year?
This is my first time writing on PC! It's so much easier :)
What if I wrote the episode and Wednesday taking care of her? :)
Streamer Enid AU.
Also! I have a song recommendation! Love Like You from Steven Universe. Specifically the duet of Ashe and Caleb Hyles! :)
(They aren't dating yet.)
"Are you alright?"
"To be honest? No. Not in the slightest. Feel like dogshit."
"Is there anything I could do to help?"
"No, not really."
"Do you have... do you know why you feel this way?
"No."
"Melancholy, then."
The werewolf lifts up her head from it's spot of a disgustingly pink pillow.
Enid blinks at her.
Once.
Twice.
"I might be fruity but 'm not a fruit, Willa."
Wednesday feels like she's been shocked by Uncle Fester.
"What?"
"You said I have Melancholy. I'm not a fruit."
"Melancholy is sadness without an apparent reason," she wants to add venom to her voice. Call Enid Stupid and idiotic.
But it's Enid.
"Not a fruit, Enid.'
The blonde pouts, drops her head and lets out a pathetic sigh.
"Watermelon is my favorite fruit."
"I'm fond of Belladonna berries, personally."
Enid lifts her head again, this time turning on her back to face Wednesday properly.
She smirks. It's the closest she's been to a real smile since Monday.
It's Thursday.
"How are they named both so young and so old? I hear Bella and I think of Twilight- I hear Donna and I think of this old baker-lady from San Francisco who smoked like crazy and yelled at everyone. She beat a- did I ever tell this story?" Enid's grin is small. She has told Wednesday this story. Enid was tired.
She must've forgotten.
"Never." She lies.
"Well, she- she got robbed- attempted-ly robbed- is attemptedly even a word? Anyways- she almost got robbed, got the guy that broke in, and beat his ass with a rollin' pin. The cops had to pry her off!"
Enid's smile is bigger.
Her scars are lit up by light of the moon that peaks in from the window.
Her eyes glow in the dim lighting.
Her scars are pink.
Her eyes are blue.
"A pleasant story," Wednesday pretends she's never heard it, "what happened to the baker?"
"She's still alive! When I went home over break, she was still kickin'! I think she started smoking more, which is horrific- seriously, this woman smokes like 2 packs a day. It's nuts."
Wednesday hums.
She stands up and walks to the door.
"Wait!"
Her head snaps back so fast she can hear the pop that sounds in her neck.
Enid's hand is outstretched, and she's standing now, when Wednesday turns around she's retracting it in embarrassment.
"I- there's not really anything you can do to help, but that didn't mean I wanted you to leave." She flushes and looks at the floor.
"I'll only be gone a moment. I'll need Thing's help, also."
Thing runs to Wednesday's feet.
Enid's face is red. Wednesday can see her eyes get glossy with tears.
"Promise you'll both come back?"
Wednesday's hand tightens on the doorknob.
"I swear on Thing's life."
She faces the door again.
"Swear it on my life too."
Wednesday turns fully at that.
"What?"
"Swear it on mine too. You care about both of us too much to lie."
Enid swallows harshly. She doesn't move. Her arms are behind her.
Her scars are pink.
Her eyes are blue.
"I swear on the life of Thing Addams and Enid Sinclair that I will only be a moment."
"Okay."
Enid stares at the ground. She turns back to her bed.
"Okay."
.
.
.
Enid's on her stomach when Wednesday reenters the room.
Their room.
"Enid." Wednesday speaks quietly.
She spent time on this, but Enid needs rest.
She'd feel awful if she woke her "roomie."
"Yeah?" Enid rolls onto her back again.
What if Enid didn't like it?
Wednesday wants to vomit and scream and run away.
She doesn't.
"I have something that requires you to close your eyes and follow me."
Enid laughs- a puff of air, really, but it's better than her downcast face.
"First you're gone for 11 minutes, now you want me to follow you blind?" She stands and closes her eyes.
Enid counted.
Enid smiles.
Thing runs to his box.
Wednesday grabs her backpack.
She takes Enid's hand.
Her hand is warm. Her fingers are pink from the cold.
They start moving.
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're 'bout to bury me alive!"
She sounds playful.
Good.
"If I wanted to kill you, I'd have used one of your revoltingly pink scarves to strangle you."
Pink scarves.
Her fingers are pink.
Her scars are pink.
Her eyes are blue.
They're outside now.
"Nice to know you have it planned. Though," Enid almost trips over a tree's root. She barely slows in following Wednesday, "I can't help but feel hurt that you'd be so..." She doesn't need to look back to know the smug shit is smirking, "barbaric! That's the word!"
Wednesday considers letting Enid hit a branch head-on.
She moves Enid out of the way of the branch that she can't see.
"I mean, I figured after being besties for so long you'd at least think about giving me some kinda dramatic death. Throwing me into a fire as my lover begs for my life? No? You have no taste, Willa."
She imagines Enid with burn scars. She thinks they'd run up her arms like sleeves. Maybe splashed across her ribs and stomach.
The scars would be pink.
Her eyes would still be blue.
"I'd kill your lover first. No witnesses."
"You wouldn't grant me my final death-wish of being dramatic as I go?"
'I'd join you in the fire. I'd burn with you because to lose you would kill me in a different way.' It climbs up her throat and sets on her tongue.
She doesn't let it leave her mouth.
"I'd write something funny on your urn."
"Make it a pun," they're nearing the spot now, "and I'll consider forgiving you for not giving different-timeline me a death worthy of being on a K-drama."
"Done."
She leads Enid to the spot.
"Sit."
"I'm not a dog, Willa-"
She sits.
"-I take offense."
"Open your eyes."
Enid opens her eyes.
They're on a blanket in the forest. Wednesday has the laptop the sat delicately on the blanket.
The blanket's big.
"Wednesday..." she breathes softly.
"You always wanted a girls night." She sets her backpack down, zips it open, and pulls out her supplies.
Nail polish.
Cans of juice and soda.
Snacks.
A another blanket.
"You are the best roomie." Comes out soft. Like it left her mouth without her knowledge.
"I thought... if ever I should indulge you." She pauses.
The stars are bright, so far out from the light pollution. It illuminates them both.
Enid stares straight up to the sky.
The colors of the stars reflect in her eyes.
Her face is lit up, just barely.
There's pink in the blue of her eyes from the stars.
Her scars are pink.
Her eyes are blue.
"It should be now."
Enid stands suddenly, faces her roommate, grabs Wednesday's face and kisses her.
Her lips are warm.
Her lips are pink.
They both stare at each other when Enid pulls away. Neither making a sound.
Enid sits back down.
Wednesday stands.
It's quiet.
Enid gasps sharply, and turns her head up to face Wednesday.
"OMG! Can we watch The Sunrise Paradise? Please?!"
Wednesday blinks.
"The... Sunrise Paradise?"
"The K-drama? It's sooooooooo good! Swear on Thing!"
Wednesday presses her lips into a line.
Enid's warmth sits on them like the taste of red wine.
"Swear both on Thing and me."
Enid's face drops, and for one, dizzying moment, Wednesday wonders if she's said the wrong thing.
But then Enid grins. Bright and blinding and beautiful and Wednesday understands why humans love.
Enid, still grinning, places her right hand over her heart.
"I, Enid Sinclair, swear on the life of Thing Addams and Wednesday Addams that The Sunrise Paradise is the most incredible show ever."
Wednesday joins Enid in her sitting.
"I trust you."
.
.
.
The show is good, Wednesday loathes to admit. The characters are well-written and the cinematography is great and the actors are a perfect cast.
"It's adequate."
Enid has a smile on her face. She hasn't stopped smiling.
"That's Wednesday for 'you're so correct that it's embarrassing me, Enid.'!"
"That's... That's 'Wednesday'?"
"It's how you talk; I wouldn't force you to talk differently, so I learned how to speak Wednesday!"
"I- uh..."
A gasp.
"Do I have the Wednesday Addams lost for words? Oh, I feel powerful!"
Wednesday wants to slap the smile from her lips.
She wants to kiss them.
"You mentioned a "Twilight" earlier."
"I don't think it's your kinda movie. It's like watching Tyler and-"
"You don't need to add more. Tyler's essence being in that movie is more than enough to sway me away."
Enid nods.
Then flops backwards, starfishing herself.
Enid looks at the stars.
The stars light up her eyes.
Her scars are pink.
Her eyes are blue.
"Enid?"
"Yeah?"
"I was wrong. earlier."
"What'da you mean?"
"About my favorite fruit."
Her scars are pink.
Her eyes are blue.
"They're strawberries and blueberries."
She lies next to Enid. Shoulder to shoulder.
She looks at the stars.
There's green.
Red.
Orange.
Pink.
Blue.
"Willa?"
"Yes, Enid?"
"Do you think... do you think we'll be together forever?"
Wednesday's heart beats harder.
"In what way?"
"Like-" Enid sticks her arm up so Wednesday can see her hand flip about. "-like friends?"
'Why just friends?' she wants to say.
She doesn't
"I meant it in first year when I said your mark was indelible. Even if we grew apart, there's no doubt in my body that I'd remember you."
"How did I leave an inedible mark on you? You never told me."
"Indelible."
"Answer the question."
Wednesday takes a deep breath through her nose.
She pushes it out through her mouth.
"I think... I think to lose your mark would be to lose my humanity. The compassion you taught me."
A huff.
"Everyone's got some compassion."
"Maybe. But I've always been told that I needed to express it by people who faked theirs-" She turns to look at the side of Enid's face.
She's still looking at the stars.
Her scars are pink.
Her eyes are blue.
"-You live by compassion. You exude it."
Wednesday turns to face the dimmer stars above her.
"I've always learned better by example."
She feels a hand brush hers.
She takes it.
"If we were to grow apart, how would you want it to happen?"
"What do you mean?"
"Like. Would you want to go our separate ways hating each other? Slowing losing contact and not doing anything to get it back?"
"I would want to lose you through your choices."
She can hear Enid shift to look at her.
She turns herself to look at Enid.
The stars are brighter.
"What?" It's breathless.
"You're important to me, Enid. I want what is best for you. If we were to grow apart, I'd want to be from you deciding it's what's best for you."
"Oh."
Enid turns to face the sky.
Wednesday's still looking at the stars.
"I'd want to hate you."
"Oh?"
"'Cause, I... You mean quite a lot to me too, Willa. I don't ever want to forget you. If we grew apart, I'd want to hold a grudge because those last. Donna still knows that robber's name and she still calls him the scum of the earth. That 30 years ago when he was 15 and she was 35."
"Mother has said to be careful whom I offend. She's said spite can weather time better than love."
Silence.
Wednesday likes the quiet.
It leaves her less stimulated.
It makes it easier to burn the curve of Enid's jaw into her mind's eye.
Her scars are pink.
Her eyes are blue.
"Right and wrong."
"Pardon?"
"Spite can weather it better. But I think you mistook her words. You think spite will weather time better than love. It's only a can."
Enid's thumb brushes the back of her hand.
"I think it depends on the people with the love."
Wednesday hums.
"What could make you hate me, Enid?"
"Hmmmm. That's tough."
Enid looks at her.
Wednesday never stopped looking at her.
"Set all my stuffed animals on fire and replace all my clothing with black suits."
"Simple enough."
"Are you planning on earning my- my- my ire? Could you really be so cruel?" She puts on a faux shaky tone.
"I'm only saying it's surprisingly easy to make you hate someone. Maybe I was wrong about you being compassionate. Maybe you're as spiteful and vengeance-loving as me."
"Maybe so."
Enid squeezes her hand.
She squeezes back.
"What about you? What could make you hate me?"
Her scars are pink.
Her eyes are blue.
"Make everything pink."
"Hey! Show some respect- pink is an incredible color!"
"Maybe so."
Her scars are pink.
"I just don't think I could bare to forget blue."
Her eyes are blue.
-Writer Anon.
WEDNESDAY YOU ABSOLUTELY DAMN SAP
i love the repeating of enid's colors, really slamming it in how much Wednesday thinks they're important. How much Enid is important. Also idk if its just me but the pink dye is enid's hair temporary, the pink tint of the scar will fade to something darker. But blue? Blue is enid's eyes, blue will forever stay, it wont ever change
Just like Enid's presence, enid's mark
anyways, have this lil tidbit
-
"I think i said i'd rather hate you because it would be easier," Enid says. "but.. i don't think i would hate hate you."
Wednesday eyes her, "What do you mean?"
"Hate means disliking something so much that its all i see." A breath of air comes. "But i don't think a part of me could ever hate anything about you. I'm sure that'll stand even when we're miles apart."
Wednesday stares. Is that.. a good thing? She stays silent but the slight raise of her brow was enough for Enid to explain.
There's a pause and she really wondered if she was really going to say what she's planning to. Well, in for a skip and all for a drop or however it goes.
"Maybe if you asked me last year, i'd consider it but now?" There's a shy smile on Enid's face, her eyes staring onto the curious ones of Wednesday. Its hard to even think that she could've hated the girl lying next to her. Its no wonder the words that come next is easy, like settling into a bed. "I love you too much to even do so."
Wednesday stares.
Enid scrambles for a response, the beat of her heart loud and pounding against her ears. "I mean obviously you don't have to love me back and stuff! its just part of the explanation-"
She's still staring.
"-and like Love means seeing the thing you like and dislike about a person and still willing to care for them despite that! So i could never dislike you enough to hate you because i love you alot more-"
"i think i get it," Wednesday murmurs and its in the silence that Enid realizes just how close the two are.
Now they're both staring and Enid is lowkey losing her shit inside her head because did she just confess?
what kind of dumbass just confesses accidentally!?
Her, apparently, oh my go-
"That would mean i love you too," Wednesday carefully places and just like that, she drags Enid out of the depth she just drowned herself in.
Wednesday has that gift, she supposes. Being there.
"oh," Enid replies. "Cool," she continues, hardly trying to fight back the grin that's growing on her face. "Coolio."
There's warmth in her palms and they're still holding hands.
"Cool," Wednesday agrees and she's smiling.
She's beautiful, Enid notes. If lying down and making an embarrassment of herself means she could see that-
Well, she wouldn't mind doing it for the rest of her life.

Poltergeist Part 2
Ajax Petropolus X Fem!Reader
WARNINGS
None!
TAGLIST.
@mitsuri-suzuki @regulus-black-223048 @gretesstuff
After some quiet bickering between Y/N and Enid, the two made their way down to the quad. They walked down the stone hallways, Enid rambling on and on about how annoying her brothers were and how erratic her mother acted over the summer.
"Hey, Enid?" Y/N queries, her eyebrows knitting together as she thought over the question she wanted to ask.
"Yeah?" Enid hums, looking up from the piece of neon pink saltwater taffy that she was unwrapping, before successfully freeing the sweet from its wax paper prison, and popping it in her mouth.
"You always talk about your mom, and your brothers, but what about your dad?" Y/N asks, unsure if the topic was okay to mention. Y/N had met Enid's dad... Well. More saw him, neither of the girls were very happy to introduce each other to their parents since they were previously exhausted from staying up all night studying, so neither of them ever exchanged any words.
"My dad? He's a cool, down-to-earth sorta guy. He doesn't talk a lot though, mostly out working and stuff" Enid shrugs, wrinkling her nose when the taffy stuck to her molars and her canines, (much like a pitbull that got into a jar of peanut butter) and Y/N couldn't contain her laughter.
Y/N nods with a small hum, and Enid perked up. "What about your mom? I haven't met her yet." She hums, still struggling to free her teeth from the sticky confines of the taffy. Y/N thought for a moment, before giving a soft smile, adjusting her bag on her shoulder.
"My moms cool. It's just me and her, so we do our best to get along." She nods, the warm smile remaining on her lips. Enid nods with a little hum, licking the rest of the taffy off of her teeth before looking up as the two stepped foot into their first class.
Y/N could /feel/ the mischievous grin that spread across Enid's mouth, watching as he friend scurried off to go sit next to a vampire girl that Y/N didn't know well. She looked around, and her heart sunk. There was only one open seat, and it was next to the one person she's been avoiding. Ajax Petropolus.
She took a shaky breath, fighting every instinct she had not to go intangible, but rather settled with semi-tangible, her form flickering. Ajax didn't notice at first, he was too busy staring at his phone, the screen blank. Honestly Y/N just assumed that he was stoned, it wouldn't surprise her.
The teacher walked in, beginning to drawl on about some sort of history lecture, something that Y/N had no interest in, especially not while Ajax was sitting so close to her. She had never even been within 3 feet of the boy, much less sitting directly next to him.
She sat in silence, until she heard him give a soft sigh. "I.. Sorry. I haven't been paying attention, what are we going over again?" He asks, his voice barely over a whisper, a rough ish tone sliding from a smoke burnt throat. Y/N's breath caught slightly in her throat, mustering up whatever little courage she had to answer. "Uh... Normie History I think, World War 3 and whatever misfits fought in it" She nods, glancing over at him, watching as a small snake slowly slipped out from under his beanie, sneaking a curious glance towards the girl.
"Ah, cool. Okay, thanks" he nods, before offering a hand out to her, which Y/N shook, doing her best to make sure she stayed tangible, despite the butterflies in her stomach. "I'm Ajax" he says, with a small smile that made Y/N's heart melt. "Y/N" she smiles.
Part 2 is done!
Again, sorry it took so long, I've been swamped with work and school. Will have the new part up soon!

✨Intertidal—Chapter 19, 20✨
Cheeks full of banana like a chipmunk, Enid giggled. Finally had some color back in her when she downed it and teased, "I would have paid good money to see you frazzled, Mr. Cool." I just snorted a laugh. Told her I was never cool and that it was all smoke and mirrors.
"How much time do we have left?" Enid asked, turning to look at Bonnie who was fully outfitted and ready to go.
"Thirty minutes."
"I can tell 'em you need more time," I offered. Changed it up when she shook her head. "Or I could make a scene. Pretend ta' fall down the stairs an' sprain my leg."
Enid laughed. Shook her head at me. "It's fine. I can be ready in thirty. I just need to touch up my makeup and do my hair..."
"I can do your makeup," Wednesday offered from the doorway.
Winnie nodded at Wen then looked back to her sister. "I'll do your hair. I only need to slip on my dress and then I'm ready so I can do your hair real quick."
"Thank you Scrappy," the oldest of the two sisters sniffled. Closed her arms around Winnie in a tight bear hug. "I love you guys so much."
"Love you too, Scoob. Stop crying though or you'll make your eyes even puffier." Turning to me, Winnie couldn't have been more impressive in that moment with how she was handling everything. "I know you have to get ready too but could you grab me a bag of ice? I need it to help with the puffiness in her cheeks and eyes."
Offering her a reserved smile because I couldn't kiss her like I wanted, I nodded. "I can do that."
"From Ariel to Cinderella." I whistled with a smirk and a kiss to her cheek. "You look lovely."
Just a hair shorter than me in my dress shoes and her in her flats, Winnie purred as she looked up at me. "And you're too handsome in this suit."
"Really now?"
She nodded. "Very handsome. I had to stop myself from making it too obvious that I was staring."
"Ye'h, I don't think I was as slick as you were. Ty caught me once or twice. I tried to play it off but he's only as dumb as wood 'bout himself."
"Good thing I was planning on telling them about us anyway."
Swallowing hard, I held her flush against me. Held her gently with my thumbs rubbing tender little circles into the curve of her back.
"So you're sure 'bout this? You ain't put off or anythin' after this mornin' or after what Divvy told ya'?"
Crystalline eyes searching mine, they darted to my lips as she thought about it.
"We all have our past history," Winnie spoke, her voice soft and thoughtful as she mentally weighed her words importance and impact. "I can't say I'm not shocked. I guess it's because my brain keeps ageing you down so it's weird when I'm reminded that you're eight years older. Well," she stopped and corrected herself even though she was right the first time, "seven years right now. But it would be ridiculous if you didn't have a whole life that existed before me...before us. So I'm not upset about it is what I'm trying to say. Or this morning since we're talking about it."
Fighting off the water works, I kissed her cheek and hugged my girl tight. "Thank you."

Too little, too late
Xavier Thorpe x Female OC (Valerye Zamoyski)
Beginnings part 5
[Part 1] [Part 2] [Part 3] [Part 4] [Part 5] [Part 6] [Part 7] [Part 8]
Other smut fics through my Masterlist.
Summary: Xavier gets braver. But will this be enough this late?
Warnings I guess: Fluff, angst, missed signals, miscommunication. Bit of smut. Slow burn. Two oblivious idiots back at it again.
"Val! Bianca!" Yoko and Enid ran towards them, their Pilgrim costumes askew.
They pushed their way through the crowd that was now thinning. The ambulance lights were gradually getting smaller and smaller, vanishing in the distance.
"What happened? Why is there blood all over the place? Oh my god I am feeling nauseous."
"Where is Xavier?" Principal Weems turned her head towards the shouting, her face hard as stone.
She was talking with the town's sheriff and it seemed she didn't like the words she was hearing from him. There was also something in her eyes that told Val there could be trouble.
One of the boys that assaulted Xavier was apparently the Mayor's son. The other one, the one who harassed her at the cafe, Tyler, was the sheriff's son.
The resemblance now undeniable, as he stood next to the officer. Leaning casually against the car with a lazy smirk plastered across his face.
His eyes followed Weems and Val thought she saw his smile falter a little, when he saw her looking directly at him. If she could, she would spit at him. But then it would not be 'improving the relations' any further.
She smiled bitterly at the way Tyler flinched under her heavy stare. She turned back towards the girls. Divina was now at their side too, along with Cameron and Kent.
"Why there is blood all over your apron?" This was going to be a long evening.
***
Yoko stood with Valerye on the balcony of their dorm room, leaning over the railing, a cigarette in her mouth.
Her glasses were off and she rubbed at her eyes. Tired after the abysmal day and not giving a shit about the eyeliner still lining her eyelids.
"But why would they do that?" She asked for the fifth time since they got back to their dorm. And for the fifth time Val answered, after puffing out a cloud of smoke into the cold night air.
"Have no clue. Bunch of shitheads."
"Thank gods you noticed. I can't imagine how far they would've gone…"
Val swallowed thickly. She could still sense the coppery smell of blood, almost as if it bit into her hair and skin. It made her shiver at the memory of Xavier's bruised face.
"How did you manage to scare them off?" Yoko looked at her, a curious look in her eyes. "No offence but you don't look particularly intimidating."
That was the question Val dreaded the most. She remained silent, frantically scrambling for some sort of an explanation. When she didn't answer, Yoko continued.
"Bianca said something about them screaming when they saw you. Something about you looking like a demon? And she swore she saw your hands being black?"
"Must've smeared them in paint by accident." Val mumbled and took a long drag to buy her some time.
It didn't work.
"You still didn't answer me."
Val couldn't bear to look Yoko in the eyes now. She could feel her friend getting annoyed at her.
"Look, whatever is going on with you right now, I get that you might not want to talk about it. I get it. But don't lie to me."
Val's eyes snapped up to Yoko's face. Val could still see the annoyance that hardened Yoko's features. Even with her usual emotionless mask on.
She was about to say something. Deny the truth further.
There was a loud knock on the door and Ms. Thornhill's muffled voice sounded inside their dorm.
"Girls? Open up."
They both scrambled frantically to put out their cigarettes. Tipping the ashtray over the balcony. Val pushed the incriminating items into the mouth of the Gargoyal on the side railing. Yoko went to answer the door. The red haired dorm 'mum' stood in the doorway. Eyes following Valerye's clumsy attempts to step inside over the windowsill.
"You were not smoking now, were you… no, on the second thought, don't answer. Today I do not want to know." She gave them a reassuring smile.
She always made Val a bit uneasy with her mannerisms. She couldn't quite put her finger on what exactly caused her to feel this way.
Miss Thornhill's features turned into a solemn expression, her gaze focused on Val now. "Miss Zamoyski, the Principal wants to see you in her office."
"Now?"
"Yes. Now come."
Val exchanged confused looks with Yoko. Before she could say anything, Miss Thornhill put her hand around Val. Steering her out of the room and into the cool air of the Ophelia hall.
***
The Principal's office would have been quite pleasant, if it wasn't for the reason Val was brought there. The warm glow of the fireplace bathed the rooms surfaces in soft flickering light.
"Thank you, Miss Thornhill. You can leave now."
There was the uneasy feeling again. Crawling up her neck and into her head, making her mind race with endless excuses. When the door clicked behind Ms Thornhill, Weems turned towards her. She studyed Val from behind the desk.
"I think you know why I brought you here?"
Val felt a lump form in her throat. The worry must had shown, because Weems's face softened, her red lips no longer forming a thin line. She sighed and gestured towards the chair on the other side.
"Sit."
"How is he?" Val complied, perching herself stiffly on the edge of the seat, her voice small.
She felt hot and cold at the same time, shivers running up and down her arms.
"Mr Thorpe is to make a swift recovery but to make sure, he will stay at the hospital for a few days for some further testing."
It didn't make Val feel any better. In fact, she felt even more worried.
"If he's okay, why does he need to stay there? He didn't look any sort of okay when they took him."
"I appreciate your concern about your classmate but I assure you he is in good hands right now."
"But–"
"Miss Zamoyski," The principal now straightened, her face turning stern again. "Mr Thorpe's condition is not what I want to discuss with you tonight."
It was Val's turn to press her lips together into a tight line, her jaw clenched. The looming sense of dread she had felt when Miss Thornhill swept her from her dorm room returned. It seeped into her body, tensing almost every muscle.
She knew perfectly well what's to come but it didn't make it any easier to sit there and wait for it.
"I assume you are aware by now, of the accusations the four boys put through regarding your behaviour tonight?"
"My behaviour?" Anger suddenly ignited in her chest.
Was Weems out of her mind? Did she not see what they did to Xavier?
"They all claim they've been a subject of your assault by using your particular… powers." Weems talked over her, a warning lacing her tone now.
"They all claim to seeing you transform into 'a demon' of sorts."
Val couldn't help but snort, shaking her head, but froze the second the principal continued. Her voice steely now.
"Do you realise the severity of those accusations? Considering your and your family's current situation? Especially when they all claim to have seen the very same thing. Very damning, very specific type of thing."
The colour drained from Val's face. The hard reality of the situation crashed over her finally. She felt as if an iron fist grabbed and squeezed her lungs, making it difficult to breathe.
The sole reason they had to move - to run away - in the first place, was the exact thing that was threatening to unveil right here, right now.
All this because of her not being able to control herself. The threat of their true identity being revealed again was dangerously real right now.
"I managed to convince the sheriff not to press charges against the school. Convinced him the boys must have seen something else. That you are most certainly not any of the sort they were accusing you to be."
"Thank you." Val let out a shaky breath.
"But I cannot let this incident pass without taking any precautions. There is only one option I feel should be executed."
"Y-you're not gonna expel me, are you? Please, Miss, I–"
"I've already spoken with your mother about the incident. We both agreed that enrolling you into a therapy program would help you get a better grasp of your emotions. To minimise the chances of this to happen in the future." Weems stood up from her desk, her tall figure moving towards Valerye, still and dumbstruck.
She put a hand on her shoulder in a surprisingly soft way that made Val look up at her.
"Valerye, I cannot help you if you do not do anything you can to help yourself first. I promised your mother I will not tell a single soul about what you have going on. But I need you to help me keep that promise."
***
During the week Xavier was hospitalised, Val and the rest of the Nightshades visited him twice. The first time was the very next day after he got admitted. They brought him food from the local restaurant. It turned out he could not eat most of it due to the pain in his jaw, where he received one of the punches.
They resorted to sharing it, making Xavier eat tiny bites that they pushed into his barely open mouth despite his weak protests.
One piece almost made him choke when he laughed at Kent and Divina retelling their story about their assignment at the most popular dress shop in town.
It resulted in them being politely thrown out of the hospital as the nurse then came in and scolded them for making a racket.
For the entire time, Val fought with her thoughts, as she watched Xavier's bruised and still swollen face contort into the smile she so loved to see on him only to change into a wince as he hissed in pain whenever his face stretched into a grin. A grin that made her pulse quicken, as she caught herself absentmindedly reach towards Xavier's face to brush his hair out of it.
What in the heavens was going on with her?
She had to excuse herself to the bathroom. She couldn't lose her composure, not again, not with all those who were important to her.
Her hands gripped the sink so tight her knuckles turned white as she looked herself in the face in the mirror. Entirely black eyes stared back at her, dark, pitiless and terrifyingly empty.
"Get a grip, Val. Get a fucking grip." She snarled towards her reflection. She was shocked to feel the piercing hot pain in her mouth, as her gums felt as if they were on fire.
As if something was just underneath the surface, ready to spring out.
The faint taste of copper coated her tongue and she gasped, pushing herself away from the sink. The sensation bringing her back to her normal senses. That was it. She could not stay there any longer. She had to get out, she couldn't stay.
Not in this state, not when the fleeting control she had over her form seemed to slip away from her at the highest speed possible. Not when this thing she felt whenever she was with Xavier happened… whatever it was.
Not when her family's safety was so close to being threatened again.
"Fuck this," she whispered, grabbing a sketchbook she bought for Xavier this morning. It was an idea to give the artist some of his normalcy back. Now, her heart thumped in her chest at the mere thought of him smiling at her because of that.
He was her friend, for fucks sake.
It could wait. She would get out, say her goodbyes from near the door and wait for the rest of them at the foot of the main stairs.
She leftthe bathroom and was met with empty chairs where the rest of the group was sitting just moments before. Xavier's head jerked up towards her with a start.
"Val," he sounded genuinely surprised to see her there but his face immediately lightened up, only for him to wince when pain shot through just jaw.
"You're still here? I thought you've left before the rest did."
Val pointed behind her back towards the bathroom with a sheepish smile.
"Had to use the… wait, why did they leave?"
"Got kicked out for being too loud, the nurse got pretty pissed. Tried to sweet talk her out of it but I guess my new look does not add to my charisma much." Xavier gestured towards his face with the bandaged arm and let out a dry chuckle.
"I haven't thanked you yet. For not letting them rearrange the other half as well."
"Don't mention it."
"But you didn't have to intervene. Shouldn't, in fact."
"What do you mean, shouldn't? Was I supposed to sit back and watch them beat you up into a pulp?" Val snapped, moving towards the bed. "Do you even hear yourself?"
"Yeah, I do." It was his turn to huff now. "You shouldn't have come. You could've gotten hurt. I should've taken them by myself."
"Xavier," Val sat on the bed and leaned over his legs to get a better look at his face. "There were four of them. Four. Against one."
Xavier opened his mouth to speak. He wanted to argue but no words came out.
Val's hand was on his bruised cheek, tracing her fingers delicately over the purple skin. The unexpected touch stupefied him. He watched her grey eyes, full of worry, glide over his bruises and it made him feel even more guilty.
It wasn't her fault he was like this.
"I hate them." Her voice low, tethered on the verge of anger.
He could feel it, just underneath the surface. It caused shivers to run down the back of his neck.
"I hate them for this."
"That's how it goes around here. Sheriff and Mayor's sons for you." He thought he caught a glimpse of her eyes darkening but she lowered her gaze before he could take a better look.
Her hand fell back onto her lap and he frowned at the sudden loss of contact.
"It's not right." She whispered.
He just shrugged.
"Not the first time, deffo not the last too." He knew there was nothing more they could do about it.
Their fathers would do anything in their power to sweep the case under the rug, as they always did. His own father would do absolutely nothing about this as well. He never took any notice of any of Xavier’s issues, especially the ones that would "taint" his pristine image.
He felt something press against his stomach. It was a sketchbook, and a new one at that. The one he talked about buying for the past month but somehow never got around to do it.
"Instead of flowers." Val smiled at him. "Can't risk you sneezing yourself to your grave in this state."
He snorted, trying hard not to smile. He opened it and on the first page there was a 'get well soon' scribbled in her loopy handwriting. A tiny heart adorned the corner where her name was.
"Hope it helps you take your mind off of things."
"Thank you… but I kinda have a bit of a setback." He raised his injured hand.
"Well, you said you wanted to practise with the other hand. Perfect opportunity if you ask me."
He felt warmth settle in his chest at her words. He did say that once, in passing, and he didn't expect her to remember it. Val put a set of pencils on his bedside table.
"I should get going. I think the nurse noticed me and she doesn't look happy." She whispered as she got up from the bed.
Xavier felt cold where her thigh was pressing against his. Before he could think about how much he wanted her back against his skin, he felt her lips press against his uninjured cheek.
His brain froze.
They were warm, soft, and a little dry. She had never kissed him before.
It was short, but it was enough for him to blush furiously. His skin tingled, the outline of her lips now imprinted in his memory.
He barely registered her saying goodbye and before he knew it, she was gone.
***
Valerye let out a long sigh. The first therapy session was now over. And it went abysmally bad.
Dr Kinbott had the utmost misfortune of being the first therapist Val has ever seen.
An entire session went by with Dr Kinbott trying and failing to reassure Val that her office was a safe space. That she could talk about everything she needed and wanted to. That she was someone she could trust. It seemed to be working, until the therapist confirmed what she had already expected.
"Principal Weems told me about your situation."
The rest of the words were drowned out by a loud ringing in her ears. It still hasn't subsided, even though Val was already outside.
She had to finish the session early. And she knew this would reach Weems faster than she would make it back to the Academy.
Nothing about this day made Val feel particularly well. She knew she had to cooperate to stay at the school. Not to disappoint her mother.
Not to risk their safety yet again.
And the need to constantly lie to her friends. To omit the truth, to skirt around their questions. It weighed on her conscience like a heavy, sticky, vile mass, threatening to drown her, to engulf her whole if she slipped on the ever-growing hill of lies.
But talking about it all, re-living this once again - stating what they are and what she did, and had to do out loud - terrified her.
"Valerye?"
She blinked stupidly. The pale, broad shouldered figure of Cameron stood in front of her and she didn't realise she was staring at him for a hot minute, completely lost in her thoughts.
"Oh, uh, hi." Her face flushed in embarrassment. "What are you doing here this early?"
"I've decided to put the wonderful, cloudy, rainy weather to good use." He chuckled. "Went out for a walk. My roommate snores like a diesel truck in the mornings."
"And you? Could ask you the same…" His voice trailed off as he noticed the therapist sign on the side of the door. "Taking care of yourself?"
"Yeah, something like that." Val mumbled.
"I'm glad you do." Cameron's voice sounded so sincere, she couldn't help but smile. "Hey, I haven't eaten anything yet. Care to grab some breakfast with me?"
"Happy to."
***
She had a date.
A date to the Rave’N. And a date for tomorrow’s evening.
She was officially going out with Cameron Moser.
***
During their second time the Nightshades came to visit him in the hospital, Xavier noticed a slight change.
It wasn’t the fact he now could eat on his own, finally - despite Ajax still trying to force feed him. It also wasn’t the lack of homework that surprised him.
It was Val.
She was unusually quiet. Kept smiling at her phone as she tapped away at it.
When they were about to leave, he called after her.
"Val?"
"Yes?"
She stopped in the doorway. But she didn't make any move towards him. Didn't come over to sit at his side like the last time.
"I, ah… thank you, for the sketchbook. It really did help. I would go insane here otherwise."
She smiled at him in the sweet way she always did, her eyes crinkling.
"Hope you will show me your sketches tomorrow then." When Xavier looked quizzically at her, she continued. "Foreign? We have Foreign on Mondays."
"Oh, yeah, right. I just thought you might…" He gestured to the bedside chair.
"I'm sorry. I have, uh, plans tonight." She blushed and another smile crept upon her face. And it made him a bit uneasy. "So, tomorrow? I'm still waiting for my portrait, tho."
"You can come over to my studio then." Xavier blurted out, throwing caution to the wind. "Tomorrow at seven?"
"Wow. I didn't expect it to work." The wink Val sent him made his chest grow warm. "See you then?"
"Yeah." He smiled but then his grin faltered as she waved at him and went out.
She didn't even come over to kiss him goodbye like the last time. And God, he hoped so much she would.
***
The Foreign Beings and Legends class got cancelled. For the first time in his life, Xavier was disappointed to hear that.
"Free at last." Ajax stretched, a content sigh falling from his lips. "What are we gonna do with all this freedom? Yo, wanna go for a smoke?"
"Yeah," Divina piped up. "Could use some."
"Later." Xavier replied hastily. He looked around but the green glinting hair was nowhere to be seen. He could swear Val was just there.
"Don't know if there's gonna be any left tho." Ajax laughed.
Xavier just waved them off.
"Gotta go. I want to catch up with my painting skills."
"Oh god, the turpentine smell is gonna join us again. Bleh." Yoko wrinkled her nose in mock disgust. "And you finally smelled so good at the hospital."
"Like what? Blood eau cologne?" Kent snorted.
Yoko smacked him across the chest.
Xavier laughed and shook his head. He missed them so much. But he had to go clean up the shed.
Val was coming over today.
***
Xavier almost jumped out of his skin at the knock on the shed door. She was here.
He felt as if his heart was about to break his ribs with how hard it was beating.
With one last look at the unusually spotless studio, he went over to open the door.
"Hey there. I'm here for my appointment with mister Thorpe?" Valerye flashed him another one of her smiles and he grinned.
"Hold on, I'm gonna see if he's available. In the meantime," he stepped to the side, letting her in. "Please have a seat."
His chest swelled at the amazed look on her face. She looked around, eyes wide and mouth hanging open.
"This is… jaw dropping." She managed to let out after a few moments of walking around, Xavier trailing behind her.
"Yea, I can see that."
He felt brave today. He reached out and pushed her chin with his finger, causing her to snap her mouth shut and blush.
He made her blush.
"So." Val stopped in the middle of the shed, near the chair he put there before. "How much for a portrait?"
He wanted to say 'a kiss' so bad.
"We'll see when I finish. I might need a bit of a warm up."
"I hope I'm able to pay for that then." She laughed.
He hoped so too. He thought about asking her to the dance for days now. He had to do this today. No more waiting around.
***
"Do you have a date for the dance?" Val asked him. His heart stuttered.
"No." He stepped away from the easel. He bit his lip, feeling the insecurity seep back in. "But I do want to ask someone out though."
She slipped from the chair and stretched. They were there for almost an hour now.
He still didn't ask her out.
"Wonder who caught your eye." She mused as she stepped next to him and gasped.
"Xavier…"
"Yes?"
His heart beat painfully against his ribs now. She was so close he could smell her hair.
"Is that supposed to be me?"
He blinked, taken aback.
"Y-yeah. What do you mean? You don't like it?"
"I thought you were painting me, not some… ethereal, beautiful entity."
"That's what I see." He breathed, feeling his palms start to sweat.
She looked back at him, her grey eyes shining under the dim light. He could count her eyelashes.
"So… about the, uh, payment." His voice got caught up in his throat. She was so close to him he was starting to get dizzy. She looked almost exactly like in one of his dreams. "Do you… uh, do you have a date for the Rave'N?"
"Yeah, I do."
He swore his heart broke into pieces. This wasn't supposed to go that way. He was supposed to ask her out now.
"Who?" His tone came out harsh, almost accusatory before he composed himself. He took a step back.
Why in the hell did he feel betrayed? She didn't owe him anything. But still, there was a vile, bile-like feeling rising up to his throat.
"Cameron." She smiled in a way that made the remnants of his heart sink.
He swallowed with difficulty. His throat felt dry. It was tense, just like his chest. Sharp pangs followed his every breath, almost as if slicing his lungs open over and over again. He waited around for too long. And he was too late now.
Is it why he couldn't find her during the breaks today?
"You?" Val's voice rang out again in the shed. "You said you wanted to ask someone, right? Who is it?"
His mind was blank. He had to come up with something, anything. Fast.
She looked at him, an amused grin on her face.
"I won't tell anyo–"
"Bianca." Xavier blurted out, surprising even himself. This was the first name that came to his mind, after he recalled the last class he had that day. Fuck.
"Ooh," her grey eyes, the ones he kept seeing in his dreams, widened and she grinned up at him. "Oh wow. Aiming high I see."
She gave him a wink that always made his knees weak and this time it was no different.
"Go get her, tiger."
***
Xavier was feeling like shit. But who could blame him now, as he was forced to watch the girl he liked shamelessly flirt with the guy he now hated with his entire self?
It was as if wherever he looked, whenever he turned, Cameron was there. And Val was with him, or got up from their group to meet him, leaving the conversation they were currently having.
It made him furious.
"Good thing you're not a Gorgon."
He turned to see Ajax, watching him intently.
"They would be so stoned by now."
Xavier just grumbled, turning back to shoot daggers at the vampire. He watched him glide his hand over Valerye's shoulder, brushing her long hair off of her uniform.
And then he kissed her on her cheek. She blushed at that and giggled.
If he had snakes on his head, they would surely be hissing and spitting in their direction.
***
His dreams about her were different now.
Besides the ones where he danced with her and kissed her in the darkened room, he still dreamed about her naked, wrapped around him in a heated, blissful embrace.
But the overall aura of the lewd ones was new.
The need he felt, the desperation and longing for her to be close to him consumed him whole every night. He relished in the way she breathed his name over his lips whenever he stopped kissing her for short moments, only to press his mouth again over her flushed skin in a needy manner. His arms were tightly wrapped around her, pulling her closer to him, while he rolled his hips slowly against her core.
Their bodies, hot and sweaty, were sticking together in the heated embrace, as he pressed her against the sheets, repeatedly burying himself inside her. Her heels dug into his butt, urging him to press himself even deeper and he listened to her pleas every time.
The way her body responded to his, the way she clenched around his cock, the way she fell apart underneath him made him go crazy with need even after he woke up. No amount of ice-cold showers helped in the long run.
It was no longer just solely the sexual tension that clung to him whenever he saw her. It was this overwhelming longing, a need to be close. To feel her hand in his, to have her close to him and hear her laugh, feel her breath on his neck, to run his finger through the glinting hair.
And it killed him every single time he saw Cameron be in the place he wished to be in.
***
He did ask Bianca to the dance two days before it was taking place. What else he was supposed to do, now that his chances were thwarted by that bloodsucker.
It didn't escape him however, how happy Bianca looked and how enthusiastic her 'yes' sounded when he stopped her after Botany and hastily asked her to be his date for the Rave'N. She never agreed to anything this quick and it made him a little… curious.
But now, the hole he was in not that long ago, was nothing compared to the one he willingly jumped in now. He was basically at the bottom of the fucking ocean.
And all of that because of his own doing. Or lack thereof.

Please note that Satisfying Afterburn as a whole is not PG-13 rated and not Wenclair-centric; it's NC-17 and very smutty (yet still canon compliant). This takes place the day after Mayor Walker is murdered, and after both Donovan and Enid cut her off.
This text is subject to change and/or editing before the publication of its chapter.
(Wednesday & Enid, PG-13, F-word & mild cannabis consumption, 888 words give/take (so far))
She tried to whip past Hawte Kewture lest she be reminded of Enid, except that a massive ear worm flew from its temporarily open door and bulleted into her brain as she passed.
To try to avoid owning the responsibility of what happened to him, Macbeth would see himself as a victim of prophecy and fate while ignoring that he still ultimately chose the actions that would lead him down his path of destruction. There is no question that he was influenced by external persuasion, but Macbeth was also subject to his own faith in the supernatural: there were various “unexplained” happenings contributing to the faith he put in the prophe —
"Homygod!" Enid exclaimed with a barking giggle, covering her mouth as Wednesday's typing suddenly ceased. The easily distracted werewolf had been lying on her bed, scrolling and flipping through her multiple apps instead of working on the history homework she had spread out on her blankets.
"What is it now?" Wednesday was already more than annoyed, having to write a paper on Macbeth for a class she should've already passed and completed last year at one of her previous schools, if not for her sudden transfer. It was a tedious prompt ("What is the role of fate and free-will in the play? Is Macbeth totally at fault for what happens to him?"), and for once, the irony of her answer escaped her as she typed against her hand-written notes.
"Britney Spears just posted an Insta where she told her father to bleep off!"
Wednesday reached for her pipe, which had been freshly filled and forgotten next to Thing. "Aren't we beyond self-censorship, Enid?"
Enid sighed. She didn't like to swear if it wasn't necessary, though that habit was more Esther than Enid. "Do you want to read it, then?"
Wednesday nearly choked on her smoke but expertly recovered. Incompetence in the face of clumsiness would only make her think they were at all alike. "I'd rather eat glass." She squeezed her fingers around her pipe, giving Thing her death stare of disapproval as he seemed to want to take her up on her word. She quite liked her bat wing pipe, custom made for her by their glass-blowing, fire eating cousin, Inácio Itt III.
Enid had longed for another enthusiastic celebrity gossip monger like herself; tempting Wednesday into such a vapid hobby seemed impossible, but she forged on. "She basically told her dad to F off. She told her mom the same thing last month." Enid swore that she could detect a flinch of interest in her roommate's shoulders. "Yanno, she could give you a run for your money in the parental hate department."
Wednesday sincerely doubted that. Besides, 'hate' was the incorrect term. She ran the tip of her fingernail against the curved edge of her bone ashtray. It rested on a turn-of-the-last-century platinum coaster. "What's her net worth?"
"Uh…I dunno, just a sec," Enid's thumbs flew over the onscreen keys. She'd learned not to ask Siri anything in Wednesday's presence after the night she wouldn't stop asking her for BTS lyrics. "According to Forbes, it's sixty million dollars."
Wednesday huffed. "Is that all?"
"That's still a crap ton of money!" The immediate Sinclairs were only worth a mere fraction of that, and Enid was often made conscious of it by the super wealthy kids' constant flashing of their riches. The majority of the Nightshades and the other vampires in the school could wipe everyone's asses with hundred dollar bills and not break a sweat. 'Sinclair' would never outwardly gape at anyone's things, but she found it hard not to be in awe when she was especially envious of Divina's blue Daisy Spikes; she noticed that Wednesday had them in black, sitting unworn in her closet with her other shoes. "Why, how much are you worth?"
Wednesday didn't want to say what her family's net worth was. Gomez, in his Once in a Lifetime good decision, had ditched his uranium mines for rhodium mines when she was around two years old, after it was clear that there was a glut in the market and its price was plummeting: while at the time of his mine dump and acquisition, uranium fluctuated around fifty dollars per pound, rhodium brought in nearly fifteen thousand dollars per ounce. The price currently hovers around four thousand per ounce, but just a couple of years ago their "small" haul of four tons brought their overall wealth to about four billion, half of which was put into trusts for Wednesday and Pugsley. Needless to say, the Addamses were very comfortable billionaires, though they tried not to flaunt it.
"Why did she tell them to fuck off?"
"Oh…you know, that whole conservatorship thing. People think Britney's finally letting loose after feeling caged for so long."
Whether it was all in her head (which it often was), Wednesday at times felt like she too was trapped under her parent's thumbs. Perhaps not under a strict, brain-stunting conservatorship, but their lack of engagement and Morticia's backhanded compliments felt like a prison of its own.
But she would also be damned if she let herself be compared to Britney fucking Spears. Her one and only outlet for feeling like a normal human was probably stubbornly still at the station working when he should be at home resting up after their long session in Burlington. She shook her head and started typing again.
– prophe…cies –
"Hit me baby one more time," Enid whisper-sang terribly as she flipped through the pop star's Instagram. She looked up to see Wednesday's murderous eye and stopped. "Ohmigod, I'm so sorry."
Too late. It was in Wednesday's head now, and the best she could hope for was that a lyric or two didn't make it into her paper.
And now the song clanged in her brain as she desperately tried to chase it away...

Other stream highlights:
I did in fact die a lot I had started sweating bc inside I was like I PROMMY I AM GOOD AT THIS GAME!! I HAVE 1000 HOURS! I just wanted to experiment with my main party some so I had to use some other guys.
Beat Kraken second try and in like 20 minutes with this team… Aurora/ Smiley/ Zero (bind cut gladiator)/ Alope (Alope landed all 9 smashes once methinks)/ and Magnolia
Alope sitting on a recliner after the Kraken fight..... girl fr wasn't used the whole rest of stream even tho I was bragging about her. She smashed all 9 times (Or at least 8 bc I remember she hit a LOT)…
beat Alraune after 2 hours of grinding. (Most of it was me remembering how to do it lol) Killed her with Caspian/ Tank/ Ignis/ Enid/ Ezra
I NEEDED TO REST HANA but I like meteor so I just used Ezra (This freak) instead and now I miss Hana 🥺
(Maybe next time I kill Kraken I'll use her. Meteor maxed is AMAZING that fight. She just doesn't have it maxed yet ... so Ezra did all the cool Zodiac stuff she usually did but I KNOW Hana will be stacked up and ready when it's time to fight abssyal god and the dragons.)
Also finally rested Tank and grinded him back up. he’s good now (at what cost... no smoke grenades)
Ignis and Caspian... hoplites are so slow at post game when you're underleveled. Like UGH... I had to have Ignis hold a speed dagger and Caspian had tried to bodyguard Tank from vampire kiss but uhm….
🔥ALRAUNE FINALLY KISSED TANK🔥
He died a happy man............. twice. And didn't get any exp.
💖 then I killed Anemone right after. Caspian/ Ryuu (Zodiac/Gladiator)/ Magnolia/ Ezra/ Enid Didn't think we'd win Anemone but... Hellfire is good and I'm stupid. I was lucky, but it seemed like it kept using tentacle suck if one character was bound… So with crush charms I could keep one person bound and null the attack
Also Enid is on level 62 💀 Hana isn’t on level 52??? Need to rest her and catch her up.

Larissa Weems x Fem! Reader NSFW (+18) -Defiance
Description: You ran away with Enid last night to go to a party and they came back late in the morning, Marilyn Thornhill -Her mom from the bedroom- informed Principal Weems of her rebellion and you took all the blame, Principal Weems decides to punish you .
-Warning: Foul language, graphic mention of spanking, mention of nudity, obscenity, dominant tones.
-You are 18 years old in this fic!
-Sorry if there are mistakes, English is not my first language!
_____________________________________________________________
The night before Enid, the blonde girl who loves colors, and you decided to escape to a party away from Nunca Más, Merlina had stayed writing her novel as usual while you had fun breaking the rules of the extremely tall sexy director Werms. Several times they had sneaked out after ten o'clock curfew and always managed to get Miss Thornhill to cover for them, but not without missing a severe scolding.
They drank a lot of punch and danced all night without stopping. Without realizing it, they lost consciousness of time -apparently- and almost returned at six in the morning.
Alarmed, they hurried to the strange school, where their mother from the dormitory, Marilyn Thornhill, who was also their botany teacher, was waiting for them with a disapproving look. The woman had her arms crossed and a different expression than the usual smile she wore whenever she spoke to you.
"Girls, where were you? Principal Weems knows that you ran away last night and she's not happy with you... I'm starting to get tired of this" she complained about her disobedience.
"Sorry, Miss Thornhill, we won't do it again" you said hoping that the redheaded woman will cover them, again. On several previous occasions the redheaded woman had covered them from the blonde headmistress's wrath, knowing that she was a little scary when she was angry.
"Oh, no Y/n, I won't play along, you cheeky little girl" she spoke harshly deepening her frown, it was terrifying how the redhead could change her mood and go from being cute to being a dominant woman with the potential to kill, and not just with the look "I'm tired of having to cover for them and that they constantly endanger my job again. Listen, I love you, but this time I won't help you, you will have to deal with Weems and his fury without my help" she spoke with the frown. "She wants you to go to her office," he warned.
"I'll go" you said. You could deal more with Weems than Enid -or so you thought-.
"Fine, just go" said the redheaded woman not in the mood to fight two teenagers in distress.
You felt overwhelmed by the whole situation, you really weren't very excited about your visit to the office of the seductive director Weems, you had found yourself distracted a lot of times every time you saw her, admiring her body, her curves, her height too much tall that just looking at her standing made you tremble with excitement before the dominant figure in front of you, her red lipstick that contrasted with her pale skin, her blue eyes like the ocean and her blonde hair. It was gratifying for you to watch her from afar, but when she spoke to you you felt like putty and extremely small in every possible way.
You walked through the great corridors of Ophelia Hall with nervousness occupying your empty stomach, you were anxious -But you didn't know exactly if in a good way- to see the director who occupied all your dirtiest fantasies.
Upon reaching your destination you decided to sigh and knock on the door, you were greeted by a "Come in" from Director Weems and you felt a shiver of adrenaline run through your entire body when you entered and saw her standing in all her great stature, while her body recharged next to the smoking fireplace illuminating the early morning that was still dark.
"Shut the door, Y/N" she said ordering without looking at you. You swallowed and did as ordered by the dominant woman.
You didn't quite know what to do, whether to stand by the door or approach Principal Weems.
"I wonder, how come you and Miss Sinclair have been leaving this place for so long without my permission and I didn't realize it?" She said, this time looking you directly in the eyes, you felt as if she could scan you with her eyes.
"P-please don't involve Enid in this, Director Weems, it's all my decision" you said, although they both knew it wasn't entirely true, Enid always wanted to escape whenever she could to go out to parties.
"I hope you understand, Miss Night, that I will have to punish you. I worry about my students when they need something and you desperately need my correction" he spoke in a seductive tone, his eyes seemed hungry and you felt your legs go weak at his commanding tone.
"I-I understand.. s-ma'am" you said in a weak whisper, trying desperately to hide your voice shaking with excitement.
"Now, now... I'll give you two options, you can spend the rest of the time until school starts staring at a wall with a coin on your nose, or…"She moved closer to you slowly, almost painfully and lifted your chin so that you were looking straight into her eyes. "You can lean over my desk and pull up that too-short skirt that's against the law and I'll spank you until May you turn into a needy, sobbing mess" he spoke too close to your ear and you did your best not to groan.
You couldn't believe she had said that, but you loved her.
"... I-I'll take the second option" you said feeling your face turn red from embarrassment.
The woman smiled "And please tell me, what is the second option, honey?" She asked teasingly.
"P-please don't make me say it."
"Say it, if you don't want worse. I should be harder on you and I can if you don't cooperate, but it would be much more satisfying for me than for you."
"I-I'll say--" you said.
"Come on, I want to hear you."
"I-I... will take the spanking, Principal Weems" you spoke in a low tone.
You felt ashamed to ask the woman in front of you to spank you for your bad behavior.
"Very good" she smiled to herself "Then lift up your skirt and lean over my desk with your hands behind your back" she ordered herself firmly.
"Yes, ma'am" you said in an obedient tone and approached slowly, but a little willingly -although you would never admit it out loud- towards her desk, the woman behind you.
"Come on, obey me and be a good girl and lift up your skirt to receive the punishment you deserve" she spoke, turning on you with her tone.
You didn't hesitate to do what she said and you hiked your skirt up to your back and placed your hands against your back.
She took a large wooden ruler out of her desk drawer and pulled your panties down below your knees leaving you completely exposed to her eyes.
"It will be ten lashes, count for me Miss Night" she said caressing your thighs making you tremble.
"Yes ma'am" you said with your heart beating furiously in your chest.
And Principal Weems struck first.
The ruler against your bare skin made you shiver, the metal was stiff and cold. Your thighs rose for more friction as you felt another blow go straight into your ass painfully, you stifled a moan by biting your lip so Principal Weems wouldn't hear.
She tugged at your hair making you moan in pleasure, she arched an eyebrow at that and smiled "Tell me," the blonde commanded caressing your rear with her bare hand, sending a stab of arousal to your exposed center.
"T-two!" you groaned in surprise and received a spanking too close to your throbbing zone. "S-shit.. Three!"
Larissa spanked your ass very hard this time, making your whole body press painfully against her desk, your breasts aching from the rubbing of the wood.
"Watch your language if you don't want to spank your little pussy with a cane!" She spoke sending shivers through your whole body, she was really turning you on the way she was talking to you and she knew it very well, she was enjoying it.
"S-sorry..." you said under your breath.
She tugged at your hair again and you yelled “What did I tell you to do, Y/N?” she asked dangerously close to your ear.
"C-count... sorry, let's go four lashes ma'am" you answered obediently and she smiled her crimson red smile at you.
"Good girl."
Principal Weems smacked you three times in a row on your thighs and you started to cry a little while you were counting, the last blows were given firmly and were terribly painful, your thighs ached, your butt was red and very battered, you had a couple of tears on your face and most importantly, your center was dripping throbbing.
Larissa must have noticed your obvious arousal at her punishment, because without warning she began to play with your clit, she spread your legs wider as you gasped in surprise and pleasure at being touched by the blonde woman.
"You seem to like my punishment too much, huh?" She teased the blue-eyed blonde "So wet for me" she said running her fingers through your folds.
"Y-yes, ma'am.. just for you" you answered mesmerized by her words.
“Do you want me to fuck you, Y/N?” She said out of the blue and you nodded desperately expecting me to finger fuck you.
"Answer appropriately for mommy, little one" she said rubbing your clitoris faster and faster, you couldn't concentrate very well, you only felt your throbbing center.
"Y-yes, mommy... I want you to fuck me" you said and it was enough for her.
The blue-eyed blonde inserted a finger into your heated center and she began to thrust, moaning, gasping and begging, her touch making you too aroused and you wanted more, needed more.
"Do you like this, Y/N? Do you like being fucked like a needy slut by mommy, little girl?" he asked as he played furiously with your clit making you moan long and turning you on even more with his voice, you felt his breath on your heard tremblingly, her voice thick and husky for her own pleasure sending shivers to your wet core, she tugged at your hair and you moaned "do you like that? do you like it when mommy treats you like this?" she questioned with a smile on her attractive lips red, like a majestic redwood.
"Oh yes mommy... I love it..." you said with a shaky voice, tears of despair falling all over your needy face "I want more, please mommy... I need more..." you begged.
Larissa inserted one more finger into your desperately needy center and you moaned at the contact, you needed more, your thighs shaking uncontrollably with pleasure, your eyes black with lust as she turned you around to look at the blonde woman's beautiful face. she looked at you with a look of pride.
"Oww, mommy.. you're so good.." you said.
"So needy..." he said as he stripped off your clothes completely, leaving you alone in a black lace bra, his eyes flashed a dangerous glint "What a sinful sight.. you're exquisite" he spoke and you gasped as he bent down to kiss your belly .
Larissa left wet kisses and red lipstick marks all over your belly, you felt extremely turned on at the thought of her marking you. Then she moved up her caresses and her kisses until your swollen breasts ached with the need for her to touch you, your nipples were erect, Larissa kissed between your breasts making you arch her back.
The blue-eyed woman took off your bra leaving you completely exposed to her hungry eyes, she put her mouth on one of your nipples and played until your legs gave out and felt weak.
"Do you want to cum, little girl?" She asked you and you nodded.
"Please..." you asked pleadingly.
"Ask me correctly and maybe I'll let you do it" she ordered and you didn't hesitate for a second to do it.
"Please ma'am, please... can I cum? I need it so much... please" you desperately begged the woman in front of you.
"So good.. I wish you were like that in class" she said in a disappointing tone.
"S-sorry..." you said.
"Be a good girl for mommy and come on her fingers" Larissa ordered and that was it for you, you came on her fingers and she smiled cheekily.
"What a good girl you are to mom" she smiled at her.
And she loved you.

can we just... talk about Wednesday? Because I don't know how to feel about it. I watched the show with little expectations in terms of the plot, and I personally ended up enjoying it, though many people have expressed their distain for it. i didn't like everything about it. It was a bit brain numbing i guess, since after watching it my brain was devoid of thought, which is why i was probably able to watch it without question. I usually pick stuff apart whilst i watch it, but i think I was just so determined to finish it I didn't pay as much attention. Final opinions are:
i enjoyed the cartoon-ish nature of the plot. It wasn't that serious and things were solved very quickly. As a writer, I should despise that. I adore writing books with complex plot points that are long winded and explained with care as to not info-dump but to provide the context needed. However, as a person with horrid fucking anxiety, I LOVE stupid stories with shitty easy to solve plots, such as the one present in Wednesday. It's easy to see what's coming and if an episode ends on a cliffhanger, I know for a fact that it will be solve in the next episode. I also tend to judge shows and movies in context to other shows and movies made by the same company. For example, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Falcon and the Winter Soldier as I really didn't like the previous marvel movies and show. Of course falcon wasn't the best show in context to other pieces of media outside of marvel, but for a marvel show, it topped my standards. Wednesday is the same for me in terms of Netflix live actions reboots. I don't care what you think of the show Wednesday, you must agree it is better than the other live action reboots. I hate riverdale and i hate Winx fate saga, they are terrible, objectively and subjectively, they aren't good. Wednesday shocked me as it was better than both. This also plays into the other kind of shows that are on the rise: gritty shows with teenagers. Euphoria and the abhorrent Velma show, are disgusting inaccurate depictions of teenagers. Not to say teenagers don't do these things, it's just that it isn't presented correctly. Teens smoke, drink and fuck, we know this, I've heard shit, i've seen shit. But they do it immaturely. Teens are both children and adults. If they do adult things, they do it childishly, and vice versa. Wednesday had a relatively accurate depiction of teenagers (albeit a bit cartoony but it fits with the shows themes). So from that standpoint alone, it blew my expectations out the water.
Now to the stuff i didn't like about the show: the characters. Which is a massive part of the show of course. The characters were easier to stomach when i watched it because i simply liked the actors, but analysing the characters after, yeah, i don't like them that much. I liked Wednesday in the beginning, but towards the end, she wasn't as fun to watch. As far as what she does, she's very fun to watch and has to be the only who holds up well (kinda, i'll explain this later), the rest of the characters are kinda poorly written and become kinda unlikeable. I never thought i would say this, but I don't like Enid as much as I did when i started watching. Not from a "oh she's such a horrible person" but rather "oh, she's been written really poorly". That can be said about all the characters, including Wednesday towards the end. The messages the characters give the the audience is my main gripe with the show. Enid talks about how friends do stuff for friends, even without asking. "That's what friends do". This is stupid, it is. If your friend tells you not to do something, and you do it, you are betraying their trust. You don't know why your friend doesn't want you to do that, and they don't need to tell you, they'll tell you if they want to. You shouldn't assume things that your friend wants, especially if you don't know them well, like Wednesday's relationship with enid and the others. It's not a good message to spread as stuff like this is something autistic people and other nd people struggle with, this makes this line from enid to wednesday, a very nd/autistic coded character, much worse. A seemingly stupid request not to do something could have much deeper roots for an nd person. I got very mad at friend when she intentionally splashed me with water once. I had told her very explicitly not to splash me and explained that i hate getting wet when i'm wearing normal clothes as the texture is horrid and it would make me very cold. She continued to splash and my voice became more and more distressed. She ignored this, cuz duh, a little water never hurt anyone? But she eventually splashed me and i scolded her. I wasn't very cold nor wet, but it meant something else to me. She betrayed something i told her, and i even explained to her before hand why i didn't like it. So yeah it's stupid to most, but now i know i can't trust her with stuff like that, doesn't that seem a bit counterproductive to friendship. Wednesday was framed as a stuck up killjoy for not enjoying the birthday party she explicitly did not want, and yet i understand why. I think this is also a reason i liked this show; i liked wednesday, i related to her (kinda). She's not the Wednesday Addams character that she should be, but if you disconnect her from her roots (which you technically shouldn't since this is an adaptation) she's a fascinating character that could have had a lot more done with her.
So to end off: The plot is objectively bad, but a fun and easy watch. The characters are bad, but the main character is relatable yet lacking (which almost makes me wanna watch the next season because i want to see her expanded upon). She's fun by herself, but as a supposed wednesday addams adaptation, she falls completely flat of that title. Which is why i feel the show would have been better if it wasn't attached to wednesday. If it was just a show about ghouls going to school and the main character was an autistic coded character trying to survive among bullies while a murder mystery was being solved as a background plot, it would have been better. Think of it like a mix between monster high and gravity falls, heck it would have been nicer as a cartoon, though i did enjoy the visuals. I think wednesday should have had more conflicts with characters that actually hate her than just being a bitch to characters try to be nice. It's more forgiving in this context because wednesday is nd coded, but there has been a rise in the "everyone fucking hates me except no one hates me and everyone likes me" character archetype, like in the I am not starfire comic. It would have been nicer to see wednesday make a proper friend and in the mean time get back at actually horrible people, like bullies or bigots instead of people trying (and failing) to help her.
also TYLER AND XAIVIER SHOULD HAVE BEEN BOYFRIE-
