Does anyone feel like if they just went here or did this or didn't meet this person or left in that moment when you had a gut feeling to that things in your life would be infinitely better? I wonder if there are other versions of me that chose a different life and made different decisions. I would want to meet them I think, just to see what they did differently. Would you?

DCxDP idea: To Be Human Again
Danny had not been human for a long time. His home dimension had long since fallen. He lost his friends and family to old age, watched their descendants rise and fall in the same way, and witnessed his Earth come to an end.
When the cosmos erupted and took the solar system he knew and loved, Danny was oddly at peace with the end. He was no longer a Halfa but a full Spirit of the Stars. Solar flares ran through his veins rather than blood, stardust decorated his skin in gently kissed freckles, and his eyes held the swirling clouds of the cosmos.
Danny had not become a ghost. He had transformed into an Ancient, commanding the prophecies, fates, and endless opportunities that all living beings could experience in their lifetimes.
He flouted through his domain, witnessing battles between Lords of Choas and Order. Planets gain life and break apart. Endless time stretching from the graveities he weaves to flouting stones.
As time passes, his name begins to fade into legends and myths, and even the ghosts that once battled with him forget their time together. They, too, can age at a much slower rate, but change comes for them. He is present for Box Lunch's birth, but when he leaves to create light in the darkness, he misses her growing up. When he returns, Box Lunch does not know him, trembling in place as she bows low like her parents.
He stares at her, wondering what he found wrong with her, until he realizes she is a young adult. Were it not for his once evil timeline, he wouldn't have known her child form. He had missed it.
His gaze falls onto the much older pair of ghosts who call him by his new title. Neither Box Ghost nor Lunch Lady show any signs of remembering his name. They greet him with his title, and act as if though that is his identifier.
How many eons had it been since he last heard someone call him Phantom? Or even Danny?
"Lord Star Weaver?" Box Lunch stammers when the giant being only continues to stare. "Is something the matter?"
"Hmm," he considers her question, wondering if his realizations upset him. It's not that he was lonely or that he missed the sound of his name. But he has spent eons in a haze focusing on his work, and now it's almost as if he was waking from a dream.
Dreams....what did those feel like again?
"Tell me, Box Lunch, are there any portals to any living Earths?" His voice booms over the Realms, echoing as if they were a part of him. Maybe they were.
Danny had not sat on his throne since his elder sister breathed her last, but he still remembered the way the Infinite Realms changed on his whims. It's where he learned to weave stars. The young woman's ghost looked startled before she gestured vaguely to a path behind her.
"Yes, sir. I regularly use the anchored portal to visit the local Earth. It's where my father was born before his death."
Danny looks down at Box Ghost before leaning toward Box Lunch's height. She is no bigger than his pupils, and she seems frozen in terror as his eyes glow with hunger. "Show me," he says.
Her parents make strangling noises, but they wouldn't dare speak against the King and Ancient of creation. They send their daughter worried tight smiles but encourage her to lead the Star Waver to the portal.
She flights for a solid hour, his large form sending every ghost into hiding as he passes. Despite not having a living heart, he knows that it beats a mile a minute within her chest as her glow flickers in uncertainty.
They arrive at the portal, a swirling green pool resting in the open mouth of a mechanical jester. Danny thinks it looks like the building of an amusement park. He remember going to one once with Sam. This had been the Funhouse, filled to the brim with trick mirrors.
The memory causes him to smile.
Lunch Box nervously moves her hands one after another, bowing at the waist and stepping to the side so Danny can consider the portal. He is much larger than the building and doubts his foot would fit inside the portal.
He should change his form.
"Here it is, Lord Star Weaver, the portal to the human-AGHHHH!" Box Lunch's words fade into a scream as two bright rings of light form around the Ancient. Fearing she had offended the being and he was planning on retaliating, she flings herself to the ground before the portal, begging for her existence.
"I will do anything!" She cries, head pressing against the glowing green stone underneath her. "Mercy, please, Lord Star Weaver."
"Anything? Then you shall be my guide in the new Earth, " a human voice says. Shocked, she raises her head only to see that the Ancient has vanished and that a human teenager with soft fluffy hair, big baby blue eyes, and the most innocent demeanor is staring back at her.
Were it not for the soul she could feel carefully folded up inside him, she would have thought him a human who stumbled through the portal.
"My....Lord?" she dares to ask, and she's rewarded with a soft smile. Honestly, the human body the Star Weaver has chosen is an odd one. It looks like a strong gust of wind could knock him over.
"Yes. Where does this portal lead?"
"Gotham," She shutters out, "The city within the United States of Earth. This portal is in te middle of a human outlaw named Joker, but humans there aren't able to see us very well so he never bothers me."
"Gotham" Danny rolls the name on his human tongue, tasting it as the sound vibrates through his bones and his heart. It's been so long since he last felt this alive, and if that was what the name could do, who knows what the city could bring him. "What a wonderful place to get lost in, don't you agree, big sister?"
"Um...I beg your pardon?" Lunch Box blinks, but he shifts her fate with a snap of his fingers. Since she had never been alive, having been a Realms born, Danny has control of her guiding star. He moved it for one that belonged to a version of herself born in the human world.
Lunch Box's body shifts into flesh and blood. Her draw drops as she stares at her human hands. Danny grins. "I'm Danny Fenotn, moving to Gotham with my older sister. Adopted, of course. Who might you be?"
She looks at him with horror and heartbreak, but what leaves her mouth is only three words: "I'm Della Fenton."
"Della." He repeats the name, nodding his head and smiling. "It's lovely."
"It was my mother's Earth name before her death, " she says in a daze, and Danny smiles, striding into the portal without a second glance.
"Come on, Della, I want to see our new home."
He steps into the portal, while she can only look out over the Realms that no longer whisper and speak to her. How could it? She was no longer a ghost. She silently apologizes to her parents, who would likely be waiting at their haunt for her, and turns away from the only home she's ever known.
She can not afford to anger the Star Weaver. If he can breathe life into her with a mere snap of her fingers, she fears what he can do to take it away.
On the other side of the portal Della finds that her King has been caught by humans, who have tied him up to a chair and a snickering clown waved a knife in his face.
His gentle smile did not leave his face even as the Joker sliced two thin lines on his cheek.
"Della" Danny calls never taking his eyes off the clown. "Is this the outlaw you spoke of?"
Human goons swarm her. She is shocked to find that they can touch her as she is thrown on the ground, only to remember she is now human. The dull ache in her chin is her new reality.
"Yes. That's the Joker," She says after getting her wits about her. One of the goons presses the heel of his foot on top of her head, slamming her back to the ground and breaking her nose. A scatter of snickers echoes through the room as Joker loudly cackles.
"That's right, little boy. I'm the Joker, and this is my Fun House. What were you two doing sneaking about here uninvited?"
There are teeth in the Star Weaver's answer, and she shivers in place, wondering how she will survive him. "Oh, I just felt like star gazing. Say, did you know your guiding star is becoming dim?"

actually good doctor who video game ideas
disco-elysium style crpg where you play as the doctor, going around a Planet of the Week and intervening in personal and political conflicts, helping people, making moral choices, etc.
TARDIS spacetime geoguesser. you could make this a full-on edutainment game by mocking up historical time periods and locations
dalek FPS. think doom, with a dalek-like setup of a lone dalek escaping a space prison/research facility and reactivating its functionalities as it progresses
RTS with all the classic factions (daleks, cybermen, time lords, sontarans), and then some deeper/wackier cuts like idk draconians and judoon.
alternatively make this one a space 4x. 'endless space with daleks' is an easy slam dunk
first-person survival horror as either the doctor or a sally-sparrow type one-off companion character commujnicating with the doctor through Random Documents and Audio Logs
first-person environemtnal puzzler a la kairo or antichamber or the witness in e-space/the antizone/omega's antimatter universe/etc. where you play as the doctor just peacefully figuring out some puzzles in a surreal abstract environment
time travel puzzler kind of like that one titanfall 2 level meets return of the obra dinn where you take the tardis back into the past to affect your enviroment in the present
immortality/her story style FMV game where you play a confused normie trying to puzzle together the events of a typical doctor who episode plot through fragemnted police interview clips of a very exasperated doctor trying to explain that there's an alien dog loose
immersive sim/stealth game in the thief or dishonored vein starring one of the doctor's more-violent-than-him companions like ace or river song sneaking through buildings to foil a sinister alien plot
okay now that ive made this list theres no reason for the BBC to ever license out a shitty 2d platformer every again. Please

There's a lot that can be said about IS5 5th ending, but maybe the thing about it that is most striking to me is that it has this sense of romanticism and heroism to it:
Amiya floated in the void, and her story turned into an asteroid orbiting next to the black crown. In the distant stars, are there the answers she expected in those twinkling stories? Imagination alone is fruitless, so she drifted towards the stars. She wanted to find the answer. However, after a long search, all she got was more sadness. Kazdel collapsed and sank into the void. The prosperity created by the two kings was wasted in time. The halo of Teekaz dimmed as the machinery decayed. Anasa's verses were no longer heard by anyone at the end of the Dharma. The stories Amiya had gone through eventually became planets orbiting her. One after another of the sufferings were sealed, and there was no answer for Amiya in them. So she could only continue her endless journey with the stars surrounding her.
With everything sealed within the "cocoon", time flows for Amiya alone. She searches for the antidote for all sources of illness - no matter physical or psychological, Amiya seeks a cure. Until then, it will be an absolutely lonely journey without an end in sight. Amiya has already set out.
There's something about the way it is framed, as like this solitary, endless quest for the answer to all suffering that gives it this sense of romanticism. Like, yes, she's ending the world and sealing everyone in stasis, but at the same time it is her embarking on this romantic, heroic quest, carrying the suffering of the entire world, and searching for the answer to all suffering.
In particular, it's very evocative of the imagery of "setting out" and "embarking on a journey" that they really like to use with Rhodes Island:
Babel's mission is concluded, and you and this landship have only just set sail. Now go, unto your initial grand quest. Through the grim perils of the longest night, Rhodes Island shall breach into the promised dawn. That future which sails on the tender earth, it belongs to you all.

OH UR IN FOR IT NOW
thoughts: jake sully cockwarming human reader and she keeps squirming around to cum but he’s so much bigger that he can just hold her still while she whines and pouts
(also i know he’s so cocky and condescending with his dirty talk)
Oh oh oh. Fuck yes.
Listen. There is something so sexy about Avatar/Na’vi x Human smut. I don’t care. It’s going to get me going every time, I eat this shit UP.
@hinataashoyos kills this dynamic and if you want to read some absolutely delish Jake content- please give her blog a follow.
And I loveeeeee the idea of Jake and his little human fuck buddy.
Because like. You’re everything he’s attracted to- just his type. You’re petite with killer curves, a rack and ass to die for. The sweet florally perfume you wear makes him dizzy with want and the gloss you have perma swiped across your full lips sparkles in the fluorescent lights of the labs that you can usually be found in.
He eats girls like you up back on Earth. Even in his chair, he knew he was a panty dropper.
Smut under the cut
But you’re different. You’re sharp as a tack and come from a good family back on terra firme. Fancy college degrees under your belt, all paid for by mommy and daddy’s money. A social butterfly. Hell, he bets you’d been a sorority girl. Kappa Kappa Gamma, or some nonsense of that nature.
You’d never go for a disabled ex-military grunt like him- or so he’s convinced himself.
You work in close quarters with the rest of the Science lame brains, are close with Grace and Max.
Xeno-Cultural Anthropologist, he learns your title early one.
You’re here to help crack the code around the Navi- deeply fascinated by their rich culture. Diverse clans, and multilayered language. Besides Grace, you’re about the only RDA human let within 100 miles of Home Tree.
Your accolades and experience, at your young age, are stacked. All of these things should make you a stuck up priss-
And yet you’re not. Not at all.
The more he gets the know you, the worse his interest in you gets.
You’re funny, in a goofy way that doesn’t match your sharp vernacular. Your frequent jokes are vulgar and down right dumb.
And helpful, you never make him feel stupid the way the others do. You’re more then happy to sit down with him after a long day of him being linked out in the Jungle- you’re just about the only reason why he’s finally starting to grasp the language.
And so so sweet. You don’t make him feel useless or infantiled in his chair; you treat him like the capable grown man he is- but make him meals like you do all for all your friends. Help him with his laundry. Bring him electrolyte drinks when he’s half asleep doing his video logs.
A couple months in, and Jakes interest has spawned into a full fledged crush.
When Grace swoops him away fro Quaritch and his influence- you go with. All the way up into the Hallelujah Mountains.
The extra close quarters and isolation just makes it worse.
The pajamas you wear to bed aren’t skimpy or sexy in nature- but damn do you look good in the small shorts and obscure band tee that falls to your knees.
He nearly loses his shit when you bend over one morning, your wide ass on display. The tiny sleep shorts do nothing to cover the plush cheeks and he’s never wanted to dig his teeth into something more.
You act like you didn’t see him discreetly hide his blushing face in his cup of coffee.
The same way that he acts like he doesn’t see you ogling him in Avatar form. You all but drool over the smooth blue skin and endless muscles.
He wonders if that’s the only way you’ll have him, in a body that’s not his.
It had all come to a head pretty soon after that.
At the core of it; the two of you are travelers, stuck on a foreign planet. All it takes is a particularly lonely night; one where some how the two of you had gotten a moment alone, for all of the emotion to bubble up.
You’d ended up in Jakes lap, in his chair. Grinding down onto him, your tongue down his throat as he wrapped his strong tattooed arms around you.
Safe to say you want Jake Sully however you can get him.
It’s a free for all after that and Grace straight up has to tell you guys to cool it down after stumbling upon you and Jake, him in his Avatar form, in the trees just behind the bunkers. His head had been buried between your naked thighs- your face blushing behind your Exo Mask. Grace had not been impressed.
“Between you two and Norm and Trudy, it’s like I’m living in a fucking frat house. Cut it out, before I citation all of you for interpersonal relationships. I swear, we’re supposed to be grown ups here, guys- ever heard of workplace discretion!”
Graces threats are empty, but Jake knows you respect her enough to take em to heart.
So it turns into a game of sorts.
The two of you try to get each other off as often as possible. As fast as possible. As hidden as possible.
All the sneaking around makes him feel like a teenager, alive and exhilarated when he’s in both of his bodies.
But he hates the quickies. He wants the time to worship your body thoroughly.
He jumps at the chance- when Norm rides along with Trudy to take Grace back to Hell’s Gate. She’s a higher up, after all. She has mountain’s of paperwork and reports she needs to do. That’s fine.
That means he gets to be alone with you.
He savors the night. The trailers are a tight fit for his Avatar body, but he pushes the bunk beds to an opposite wall and the two of you make a nest of sorts on the cold metal floor. All the pillows and blankets you can find to cushion yourselves.
You lie next to each other, facing one and other- as you explore each other with slow groping touches in the low light. Only the computer screens left on to illuminate the space.
It’s like neither of you can get enough.
His large calloused hands run along your curves- all that soft supple skin. Your plush breasts and doughy thighs and ass. You feel so good- you truly might be the only soft thing on the rugged planet of Pandora.
Your petite hands are eager too. You trace his arms, his broad shoulders, his tapered waist. Your wide eyes follow the path of your fingers.
“Holy shit, Jake. You’re built like a brick shit house- where did all this muscle come from?”
He chuckles at the awe in your tone. “Trainings been intense- Neytiris been riding my ass lately. I’m up before the sun rises in those trees”
“Remind me to thank her next time I see her” you mutter distractedly as you squeeze at his defined bicep.
It’s insanely good, but then again it always is.
Jake tastes your spit, and you hard little nipples and your dripping cunt. Feasting himself on your skin slowly.
The more orgasms he can wring out of you- the easier it will be for you to take his cock. He needs your body as loose as he can get it.
After what feels like hours getting fucked with his huge fingers, and rough textured tongue, you’re begging for him.
You can take it. You want to be full of him, you whine the words with big teary eyes that you know he can’t refuse.
He fucks into you slow- watching as you take him. Your pussy always looks like she’s going to break. Stretched to it’s limits, lips puffy and enflamed as his cock sinks in. The contrast of his indigo skin and your human flush is fucking hypnotic.
This isn’t the first time he’s fucked you in this body and it won’t be the last.
Every round seems to be better then the last- louder. Wetter. More passionate. You’re full of so much cum, there’s no way that your tiny womb could hold it even if it tried.
Na’vi libidos are something else.
He has stamina that he didn’t even know existed. After round three you’re out, all but asleep in his arms. Limp and ragdoll like in his oversized arms.
“You can keep going” your voice is paper thin and far away. Jakes not sure how you’re even coherent at this point.
He takes you into his lap, gently, but keeping you stuffed full to the brim with his cock.
You whimper and bury your messy face in his huge sweaty chest.
“I just need one more” Jake reassures you, petting your hair, stroking down your back. His hands are large and soothing, it’s so easy for him to touch all of you at once. “You don’t even have to move all that much, baby. Just let me come one more time, yeah?”
You nod, and really it’s just your head lulling in his clavicle. You’d lost the ability to control your muscles hours ago. “Yeah, mhmm”
Jake doesn’t even need to bounce you. Just having your pussy wrapped around him, tighter then anything he’s ever felt, is enough.
You sit on his lap, his cum flowing out of you. Down your thighs. Onto his own groin. And warm his cock.
It’s erotic and intimate and as he holds you close he thinks about Neytiris words. Tsaheylu- the sacred bond. He’s felt it with direhorse- and his ikran. A part of him wishes that he could feel it with you.
When he empties the last of his milky, iridescent cum inside of you and you pull back from his chest enough to give him a small smile, he thinks that no.
This is enough.
I LOVE YOU JAKE MOTHER FUCKING SULLY UGHHHHHHHHH. I swear he fucking remixed the game in the first Avatar. I will never ever ever get over him.

the man, the myth, the legend himself dr ratio veritas ... is now made public !!
fyi . . . i have a bot request form you guys can send requests to !! updates are slow, i apologize (。ŏ﹏ŏ) but i'll try my best to get through them, and i will only do requests that fall within my comfort zone !!
DR. VERITAS RATIO
“if one day your brain shows symptoms
of dullness, then please
give the doctor a call.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ᯓ★ catching a glimpse of him working out.
you couldn't, for the life of you, tolerate such an arrogant and narcissistic smartass like veritas ratio... but oh, you wouldn't mind seeing those muscles and that handsome face of his again, even if he himself pissed you off. luckily (or unluckily) for you, your little trip of seeing him at the gym to hand over some important documents gave you quite a good view of this egotistical man.
ᯓ★ he couldn't understand you.
to dr ratio, nobody in that damned guild really lived up to the vision he hoped; none of them shared the same sentiment or kind of intellect he possessed, and it made him frustrated and somewhat... lonely.
that was, until he met you. he had acknowledged nobody before as a genius, nobody but himself, until there was you. but there was one thing this genius couldn't decipher about you... and it was the fact you did not seek to eradicate the plague of ignorance with him in the intelligentsia guild.
why, oh why, did you reject his offer to expand the universe's knowledge with the greats... only to be a humble servant for others?
ᯓ★ your academic rival.
veritas ratio prided himself on the fact that nobody could come close to his achievements and intellect at his university, he was just that good at everything he did.
however... you ruined his peace of mind and decided to give him a run for his money by taking his spot as the top student last semester by a few points.
though, as much as you both had a mutual distaste and rivalry for each other going on... you two were paired together for an important project. and of course... you had to work together. hooray.
ᯓ★ nobody thought he would be a family man.
not a single soul that knew dr ratio ever had the feeling that he would settle down with someone he would love more than himself, than his books, theses, and knowledge–let alone have a child with them.
however, you and your child with him are living proof that even a man as cold and critical as him are capable of loving and finding their purpose as not only a scholar, a professor, a doctor... but as a parent.
ᯓ★ your ex husband.
after being married to dr veritas ratio for three years and ending your union with him after such a fruitless and one-sided relationship... you had felt so liberated, as if all those years with him were just a bad memory for you.
however, when you went out to dinner at a high-end classy restaurant, the very last thing on your mind that time was the chance of you seeing your ex husband again... only for that one slim chance to come to fruition, with you being face to face with the man who seemed to never love you when you two were together.
his amber eyes gazed back at yours with a hint of longing in them, of endless nights of longing for you, his ex spouse...
ᯓ★ he wants to be your only one.
dr veritas ratio is a universal level problem solver; capable of engineering such helpful devices that saves planets and star systems across the galaxy, delegating on important issues for the good of humanity, and an important doctor that alleviates the malady of ignorance... with 8 PhDs to his very famous and well-known name.
...it shouldn't bother him this much that you're so obsessed and giggly about a bunch of pixels across your screen that utter binary code that translates into words you comprehend... right?
then why is it that as he tries to relax in his bathtub that he can't seem to get that release he's seeking from the pent-up frustration he gets when a character from your favorite game compliments you, gives you gifts, or... says they want you to be theirs. surely, he can find a solution to this finicky problem he has to make you his again, no...?

A dimly lit room for the lonely two
(Aventurine x memokeeper!fem!reader)
Tumblr media
Aventurine's POV
Ah yes, sunlight. Since when did he ever truly felt the embrace of dawn? The warm light promised to him by his sister, by the only one he has left; now vanished under the falling drops of suffering and agony. It had been a long time, years even ever since it all happened; the day of reckoning if you would call it that. Painful as it may be, one could not dwell in the past that much longer, for it will only break the will and soul of man, bit by bit. And in doing so, that also meant for him leaving the place called 'home'; one that used to be surrounded by lush fields accompanied by the joys of his kind, now all but a bygone memory.
Sitting on his lavish couch at the local bar in Penacony, he scans his surroundings; still the same as ever. Not a single thing had changed, so much as he remembers: The blinding lights, endless banquets of mindless entertainment to feed the masses, and most importantly of all: the alcohol. He admits that he doesn't enjoy the taste of it and yet here he is, drinking all of it in full glory as if it's the only sustenance he needs. Strangely enough, he feels as if he's content living this way; roaming planet after planet to collect the debt of those who sold their souls to the IPC for some quick cash, not like he's going to complain or anything. Gambling too is one of the reasons why he still lives to this very day, it's pretty much his whole ordeal at this point: either you go big or you go home, and it seems like he's not backing down on any games any time soon. And one of those games, one that he especially looks forward to playing: is you, a memokeeper. Though to be honest, he's more interested in getting your attention rather than to just simply snoop information about you; he has the connections to do that easily. And what do you know, one thing led to another and now, he's finally close to you; enough for him to engage and to capture you in his silly little games. But to his surprise, it seems that you know him more than he thought you would.
The feeling of being trapped in someone else's fingertips, oh how he remembers; the fear and anxiety it brings to a poor child, and how it teaches them to live by it, hoping to one day get rid of it. But he never did, instead, he'd rather bury it deeper, only to be replaced by his insatiable hunger for thrill. One would think that it's his way to escape his own harsh reality, and truth be told: it is his only way, no other choice would suffice. But somehow, it doesn't feel like what he's used to: it's rather.... soothing, calming even. He couldn't fathom to understand how a mere stranger could do something like this. Perhaps it's your powers that made him feel vulnerable and oh so weak, yet it could also be fate that tied you to him altogether, all for this one fateful encounter. And to him, he wouldn't change it one bit.
And now here he is, dancing with you in this dimly lit room, hands intertwined at each other, bodies a few inches apart. His eyes couldn't get enough of your own; and he never will be satisfied. Your gaze of awe as you lead him in this dance ever so softly, tranced at the murky abyss that he had willingly reopened just for you to see, is something he thought he would ever do, especially to the likes of you. Strange it may be, he couldn't be bothered by it, in fact, he feels lighter now, elated even. He had finally felt the return of daw creep up to skin, sending shivers down to his spine as the two of you spin around, arms that would shortly depart and link back to each other made him feel something; it made him feel that he is something. It felt as if he had his own worth; one that could not compare to the unsurmountable riches of the IPC nor the undeniable powers held by his cornerstone. To him, he would forever cherish this moment, unchanged; even if it meant for him to risk everything he has. For he is like a moth, knowing the dangers of the fiery light and yet achingly yearns for its touch, willing to sacrifice its wings to feel even the tiniest bit of warmth he was never spared his whole life.
But it would seem that all of this would abruptly end; a lie within a dream. The deeper he went to the light, the further he spread his wings to fly farther, only to realize that the light he was chasing was no longer there. Rather, only the shadow remained on its stead, its stature still on the carpeted floor they were both roaming around. After that 'dance' of theirs ended, only did he realize that he was the light all along; all alone in his own little world. This moment would've been everlasting had he not let her be engulfed by his own abyss. Perhaps he should just remain in this dimly lit room for a while, to relish the remaining stains of your shadow he had been looming onto, hoping that he would meet you again, not in this dreamy illusion, but to the reality he wishes to return to; a dimly lit room, just for the lonely two.
(HERE IT IS! SKSJSKKKDKSJAKAUAJWUA I'm sorry it took me a while to finish this, I was still daydreaming about this for like days 😭😭 Anyways, now that I've finished this one, I think I would do an Aventurine x Singer!Fem!reader tho idk if I'll ever do that. University of Michigan – October
You balanced your textbook on the counter while steaming milk for a customer’s latte, expertly splitting your focus between memorizing chemistry formulas and avoiding getting scalded. It was just another long shift at the campus café, and the buzz of coffee orders felt as endless as the line itself. But you didn’t mind. The job kept you grounded—and distracted—from how lonely things had felt lately.
The doorbell jingled, but you didn’t need to look up. You knew the sound well—Luke Hughes and his friends. The hockey players were regulars, and while they were friendly enough, they existed in a world far from yours. Luke, with his messy black hair, confident stride, and easy smirk, was like a walking daydream. But he might as well have been on another planet.
You sighed, wiping your hands on your apron. The hockey star was barely aware you existed. To him, you were just the barista behind the counter, wearing an oversized sweatshirt, hair tied in a messy bun.
“Large black coffee,” Luke said casually, sliding his card across the counter without even glancing your way.
“Coming right up,” you murmured. He didn’t notice how your heart picked up whenever he was close, or how your eyes flicked to his hands—the same hands that held a hockey stick with deadly precision.
“Hey, Luke!” one of his teammates called from the doorway. “We gotta go. Meeting in five!”
Luke gave a quick nod, his attention already elsewhere. You watched him walk away, your heart sinking slightly. Figures.
Later That Night – Anonymous Chat App
Once your shift ended, you made your way back to your tiny dorm room, exhaustion dragging at your limbs. Kicking off your shoes, you opened your laptop and logged into the only place where you felt like yourself—the campus’s anonymous chat app, where usernames replaced real identities and strangers shared their deepest thoughts.
Your username, Sunflower, blinked with a new message. A familiar warmth spread through you. It was from LostinBlue—the person you’d been chatting with for weeks.
LostinBlue: Still up? How was your day?
You smiled. You didn’t know much about LostinBlue—only that he was also a student at UMich, loved hockey (but swore he wasn’t on the team), and had dreams of escaping the pressure of expectations. His words had become your refuge.
Sunflower: Exhausting. Long shift at the café. LostinBlue: The same café you always complain about? Sunflower: Yup. I swear, I’ll be buried with an espresso machine.
You laughed softly, feeling lighter for the first time all day. Talking to LostinBlue was like speaking to a friend you’d known forever—someone who saw you, even without knowing your name or face.
LostinBlue: You sound like you need a break. Big plans for Halloween? Sunflower: Ugh, no. My best friend wants to drag me to some stupid hockey gala, but I think I’ll skip it. LostinBlue: You should go. It could be fun. Sunflower: Not my thing. I’d rather stay in and eat candy. LostinBlue: …What if I told you I’d be there?
Your heart skipped. It wasn’t like LostinBlue to hint at real-life encounters. Could he be serious?
Sunflower: Are you saying you’ll reveal yourself? LostinBlue: Maybe. If the right person shows up.
The idea made your pulse race—meeting him, face-to-face. Could this stranger be someone you already knew? Maybe even…
No. The thought was ridiculous. There was no way it was Luke Hughes.
You shook off the thought and typed quickly.
Sunflower: I doubt you’ll find me. I’ll probably be home in pajamas, binge-watching Netflix. LostinBlue: If you go, I’ll go. Deal?
You bit your lip, torn between your usual routine and the tiny, dangerous part of you that wanted more. Why not take a chance, just this once?
Sunflower: Fine. Deal.
As you closed your laptop, your heart buzzed with excitement—and anxiety. What if this was a mistake? What if LostinBlue was nothing like the person you imagined?
But deep down, a part of you was already hoping that whoever he was, he’d look at you like you were more than just the invisible girl behind the counter.
And maybe, just maybe, Luke Hughes would finally see you, too.
The Next Day – Hockey Practice
Luke skated across the ice, his body humming with the familiar rhythm of practice. But his mind wasn’t on drills or plays—it was on her. Sunflower. The girl from the chat app who made him laugh harder than anyone in real life.
He didn’t know her name, her face, or even her major. But somehow, she understood him. And that was a rarity in a world where everyone expected him to be nothing more than Jack and Quinn’s little brother or the next NHL star.
“Yo, Luke! You listening?” Mark called out, tapping his stick on the ice.
Luke shook his head, trying to focus. “Yeah, sorry.”
“Man, what’s with you lately?” Zegras teased from the other end of the rink. “You’ve been distracted for weeks. Got a secret girlfriend or something?”
Luke rolled his eyes. “Yeah, right.”
But as he skated back to the bench, a small smile tugged at his lips. Not yet, he thought.
But soon, if things went the way he hoped, he might just meet her at the Halloween gala.
And if she was anything like the girl he’d imagined, he wasn’t going to let her slip away—no matter what.

perceptor wants to study you. afab!reader. nsfw! drabble. skirt mentioned.
Perceptor is a scientist. It is his job to learn. To observe. In many ways, when the situation calls for it, it is also his job to solve things. The most reliable questions to answer were equations, solid and truthful: numerical variables were tangible enough to pull apart and rebuild without straying too far from his reality. They only have one answer.
But you were different. A moving target that never stood still. Always changing and taking him by surprise. You were a blow to his ego. And that caught his attention. A beauty that had no source in his stout and unyielding world. The possibilities were endless.
He wants to drink you dry.
" Open your mouth."
His voice was barely short of a whisper. Do all humans have this ability to render sentient beings speechless, to rob the room of any sound? Maybe they are also capable of manipulating magnetic fields: of defying the laws of gravity to knock their opponents off their axis. That would be dangerous. It was a good thing that you didn't see him as a threat. Not when you were looking at his past your lashes, eyes coy — fingers drawing circles around his shoulders.
" My," You hummed, " How bold of you, Perceptor."
Have you always had this lilt to your voice? He searched his processor for a comparison — the water running down the creek back in your green organic planet, the lonely echo of bullets as they ricochet, the tentative hum of a spark as it reignites. None of them comes close. He feels sick. Dizzy. Maybe he needs to go and see Ratchet.
" Open your mouth, please."
He repeats himself. Voice surprisingly level, even though it felt like his vocalizer was going to snap. And that earned him a smile. He did nothing to warrant your laughter, and yet you indulged him like you always do. Tongue — pink and wet — peeking past the row of pearls you call teeth as you tilt your neck gently backward. His hand moved instinctively, dwarfing the back of your head for support.
He pressed the pad of his thumb flat across the soft surface and felt the metal sink. Your eyes fluttered shut, legs, slightly parting to let him slot his body in between. He held you in place. Chest to chassis, the thin fabric of your shirt did nothing to hide the subtle race of your heart.
Sinew and muscle, humming, unlike anything he's ever heard.
This is for science, Perceptor tells you, retracting his servos to pick up his PADD, mind bursting with a flurry of thoughts. He couldn't even remember what he wrote down. He will have to review it later.
He runs a few more exams. Medical needs it. And yet he had offered himself to run them. He says it was also crucial for his research.
What kind of research, Ratchet had asked him.
A personal one, he had replied.
No one stopped him, especially not when you were so eager to help.
He kissed you on the lips. Tentatively, once, twice. You sighed into his mouth. Lips soft. Too soft. He needed to know if you were just as delicate between your —
This is for science, Perceptor tells himself, already sinking onto his knees. You were a plethora of texture, so different from his biology. So far from the mundane. While he clings almost religiously to the dependable — facts, numbers, metal — the purest, rawest form of science is the unknown. He nudged your knees with his nose, wider, and you wordlessly complied.
Every scientist is an explorer at heart. And what is more unfamiliar than the feel of your skin?
Perceptor rubs up and down your thighs, feeling you shiver. His cooling fans clicked to life, reacting, responsive. And this pleased you. And you pleased him.
Prettiness is symmetry, all things in the right place. And yet you were an artifact of unknown beauty, with no origin, no source. All things have to start somewhere — stars were born out of gases, sparks out of a mass of positrons supercharged by energon. But where did you come from? So alien. So different.
If the Earth was your creator, then you must be molded out of clay, shaped by her gentle hands, not carved, for he was sure even under his touch you would break. That the slightest misplace of pressure would shatter and scatter you into pieces.
But humans were known to be resilient. He likes to call you generous instead. Ever so giving, ever so kind.
Today, you wore what you called a skirt. Isn't it pretty? He doesn't have much to say about its color other than that it was practical and worn with a purpose. An invitation.
You mewled in encouragement when he pressed a kiss square against the plush, wet slit of your cunt.
Perceptor is a scientist. It is his job to learn. To observe. In many ways, when the situation calls for it, it is also his job to solve things. And there is still so much he wants to learn from you. He wants to map every sensitive spot that made you gasp and writhe. He wants to chart every delicate twitch, every clench. And with your body arching atop his table — sweat dripping down your brow, you were his muse.
But make no mistake, this was a symbiotic relationship. You were also studying him, changing him. ( He was certain you've ruined him for anyone else.)
Perceptor knows he should have stayed as an objective observer, standing on the sideline. Yet you were a very seductive hypothesis, just waiting to be kissed to life. There was lubricant leaking down his chin as you reached your high, nails scratching the back of his helm. Objects cluttered off the table in the distance, yet he continues to drink.
You broke his idea of truth, and Perceptor lets you.

Pale Blue Dot
"Consider again that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every superstar, every supreme leader, every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there-on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot.
Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves.
The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand.
It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known."
- Carl Sagan on " Pale Blue Dot", a photograph of earth taken by NASA's Voyager1 on February 14,1990.
