No, cause if you think about it, Kaeya never appears without purpose and intent. You might be like “duh that’s what every character is” but think about Childe, or Jean, Barbara, collei, the list goes on. They always appear with fun, happy reasons behind it, but not Kaeya.
He’s not the only character- Albedo shares this as well with how he mostly only appears to drop some lore bombs about khaenriah and gold and then disappears for another year, but it’s still different for Kaeya. He appears during events not only to give us lore, but always, without fail, to reveal something about himself.
Proof? Okay, the 1.4 windblume festival. Kaeya does a silly little poem class with Venti- surprise, he’s threatening him with a Khaenri’ahn message that says “I will triumph over you” and even when you debunk that, you can still see how Barbatos treats him as his own despite whatever stipulations about his heritage there are. 1.6 midsummer islands- Kaeya and diluc both reminisce their childhood, and it’s the first reveal that shows us just how close they really were. After that, he disappears for while, until boom- hidden strife in 2.8, where we find out the real details of his fight with diluc and how they grew apart- but it’s hinted they still care for each other. It also tells us a little about Kaeya’s lore and family, how they took over as regents, which adds to the real gravity of their fight- telling us he’s not just a poor kid from khaenriah, he’s the last real heir to the throne. After that, winelesefest, where it shows us how Kaeya and Diluc are right now, how theyre obviously missing each other and it’s very obvious that they care for each other deeply. That kinda ties up the whole ragbros story for now, and after that it becomes serious.
He appears again in the Caribert quest for us to find out he’s the heir of the organization of vengeful Khaenri’ahns turned monsters who want to take down the gods. He claims to not be affiliated with them in any way- but it leaves the question in everyone’s minds, “what else is he hiding from us?”
Now, he’s recently appeared once again for the 3.8 summer festival, and it looks really innocent and fun and just another way of showing us how kind he really is, until you realize that Kaeya’s outfit from this version describes how much he really hates the burden on his shoulders and how he wishes he was never forced to be an agent of khaenriah.
If you ask me, we’re past the point of just getting to know Kaeya and who he is on a personality basis, and are now getting into the real gravity of his identity as the last hope of the Khaenri’ahn kingdom. It’s really building up how important he’s going to be to the endgame of the whole archon quest storyline and how much of a key role he will actually play. Man I’m so hyped!!
#hahah what a rant#kaeya#kaeya and diluc#diluc and Kaeya#gi kaeya#genshin kaeya#genshin impact#ragbros#khaenri'ah#genshin lore

Have you ever hyperfixated on a single fandom? What about hyperfixating on a single fanfic. Because that's been me for nearly the past year.
Trailblazer's a Worm/Gundam crossover fanfic. It's 1.6 million words long, nearly as long as canon Worm is. I've read it twice in the past year, and am re-reading it again. It's living rent free in my head.
Trailblazer takes place in a Worm AU where Scion was killed 10 years ago in the Gold War (akin to canon's Gold Morning). While it draws on elements, themes, and characters from Gundam - mostly Gundam 00 and Iron Blooded Orphans to my knowledge (I'd only watched like 4 episodes of Witch From Mercury before reading Trailblazer), you don't really need any Gundam knowledge to read Trailblazer.
While the end of the world was averted with Scion's death, the world's still dying a slow collapse. The Endbringers are predicted to bring global trade to an end within a few short decades. The slow collapse of society is predicted to start soon after. Anti-Parahuman sentiment is on the rise. If the Endbringers don't end the world, humanity may end up ending it themselves.
One bitter, broken, bullied girl sees a world she isn't satisfied by and sets out to save it. She saves herself along the way.
I love Worm. I spent most of my high school years obsessing over it. But I can't read Worm anymore. Not all the way through. I know how it ends, and it's really not something I have in me to reread.
Trailblazer, on the other hand, is a fic I actually enjoy re-reading. It treads brighter where Worm canon goes darker, but that's not to say it's all sunshine and ponies. If Worm's grimdark, Trailblazer's... more hopepunk? noblebright? Whatever you want to call it.
Worm's the story of a girl who gives everything she has to save the world. By Worm's endgame, Taylor's barely a person. She's thrown her life into it, she's cut every tie in the name of it. She's alive, but she's not really living.
Trailblazer's the story of the same girl going in an orthogonal direction. Taylor's character arc in Trailblazer is about realizing that she wants to live. It's about overcoming her death seeker mindset from canon, and realizing that she doesn't just want to save the world, but that she wants to live in it too. It's like if canon Taylor went to therapy, and therapy actually worked.
Trailblazer's biggest theme is that the world might suck, but it can be better, even if you have to go out and make it better yourself. That even if the system is broken, good people can still do good things within a broken system.
Anyways, what I'm getting at is that Trailblazer is fucking fantastic. It's the best thing that's come out of the Worm fandom. It's complete at 1.7ish million words, just about as long as canon. It'll make you laugh, it'll make you cry. Go read it!

I have literally typed this ask up like three different times because I was thinking it was gonna be a bother, but I'm finally just gonna send it to say "screw social anxiety!" 😂
I've been telling everyone with ears that after months of applying and getting nothing back, I finally found a job! AND it's a work from home job too, so it fits my needs perfectly. I start on Thursday! I'm just so excited about it, I've been sharing the news with everyone, and I wanted to share with you too since sharing my life is kinda my thing here 😅
In other news, I sooooo badly wanna join your collab, I'm just trying to brainstorm an idea. I've got so many half-baked kny fics in my drafts, and twice as many more ideas up in my head. Once I settle on something I'll be sure to let you know asap!! Right now my brain's only giving me the Shinazugawa brothers, because of course it'd be them 😂
Stardew Valley 1.6 is finally coming to console in a month (i think Nov 4th or 6th?) and so I'm trying to finally finish perfection on my most advanced file, before the update comes and I have to scramble to get all the new stuff. I'm at ~89% right now? The last things I need are the golden clock, 100% great friends, and all the golden walnuts. I have 123/130, I'm trying to use a guide to find the last 7 but ngl I don't remember which ones I have and which ones I don't. Hassle 🫠
I hope you're doing well -- the best, actually!! Sending falling leaves 🍂 and potpourri vibes ✨️ Happy October!
Ik I said I'd answer your Ask like, a week ago, but here we are- 😆 Pardon my delay! Receiving Asks NEVER* bothers me !!!!! I'm happy you decided to screw social anxiety! 😤
I hope you're settling into your new job smoothly and peacefully; CONGRATULATIONS! 🥳 I'm super proud of you — you deserve the world. 🥺
PLS PLS PLS JOIN MY COLLAB (MILESTONE 41.0) !! 😭 I admittedly haven't done much to promote it (other than reblogging the OG post every so often), so there's just 2 amazing entries atm + whatever I eventually write for it. 😂 You could literally submit 27 half baked drabbles of 100 words each — I'm sure they'd all be gems to read. ☺️
I looove Stardew Valley's 1.6 update, but JEEZ I'm TERRIBLE at finding/obtaining golden walnuts. 🤪 I have like, <5 lmao. I've tried to follow guides too, and been essentially unsuccessful. 🥴 My most advanced farm (Sebastian) is in very early endgame (lacking: bottom of Skull Cavern, significant progress on Ginger Island, and Movie Theater); my 2nd farm (Sam) is solidly in midgame (almost done w/ Community Center); and my 3rd farm (Haley or Penny) is in Summer of Year 1. I eventually want to have 1 of each type of farm. 🤠
I'm doing well, and hope you're doing well as well! 😉 xxoo, and happy Spook-tober! 🧡🖤
*Receiving hate/being harrassed obvi bothers me lol.

If you're still doing the letter meme (I'm backreading and saw it): O, T, Z
O - Choose a song at random. Which ship or character does it remind you of?
hit shuffle in my likes and got Seventeen by Sharon Van Etten. That song plays during the reclaiming-the-bus scene in Sex Education with Aimee and Maeve. Two of my favorite girls and a great scene ❤️🩹
T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?
Jamie has dyslexia, Keeley’s parents are divorced, Jamie and his mom reconnected post Wembley, & Jamie sends a new signed kit to Henry each update. I see people talk about Jamie as a girl dad a lot but I want him to have a son if he ever has a child because of the added angst potential (slightly evil of me oops).
Z - Just ramble about something fan-related, go go go! (Prompts optional but encouraged.)
had a hard time thinking of one you haven’t heard in discord or I haven’t already posted about lol.
So when it comes to needle drops in the show obviously Rainbow gets the most attention, as it should, and I have a lot of thoughts on the others. I think the Roy-Jamie hug in Wembley should not have had any background music. I think dead silence would have done that scene better. Otherwise there are a lot of music choices I really enjoyed in the show but there are some I would change. I think Roy having Leader Of The Landslide in 1.9 was PHENOMENAL. Him being the first domino and accepting his place on the reserves to that song. Favorite. I think Strange was a great choice in 1.7, especially since RoyKeeley wasn’t endgame. I did not like Somewhere Only We Know as a Sambecca song and think that should have been used in a found family scene, maybe even the final song instead of Father and Son. That may be a little too predictable as a final song though. I really didn’t like Father and Son and go back and forth on what I feel should have replaced it. Scott Street by Phoebe Bridgers is another I think could go there. Ends of the Earth by Lord Huron works but that was the last song in the show Community. I loved that Fat Bottom Girls became the teams song in 3.11 and I wish we got a big scene with that instead of just them all drunk getting off the bus. Harmony Hall was a great bittersweet choice for the teams new unity but Jamie’s unfortunate loan return in 1.6. Another favorite is Diamond Dogs right after Keeley confronts Rebecca. Perfection. Same with Tear it Up with Jamie’s return. I actually like almost all of Jamie’s music moments outside of Wembley.

SUMMARY
Elio , set for release on June 13, 2025, will feature Yonas Kibreab as the titular protagonist on an intergalactic adventure.
Zoe Saldaña has been announced as a new addition to the cast, playing the role of Elio's aunt, Olga Solis.
A new image released at D23 showcases Elio riding a wave with an alien friend, promising a vibrant and exciting storyline.
Elio has enjoyed an exciting set of announcements at Disney's D23. The upcoming animated sci-fi movie will be released on June 13, 2025, and will star Yonas Kibreab as the titular character. With the young boy taken from his home and transported to space, he poses as the leader of the Earth during a trial that features numerous alien species. Initial reports included Kibreab, Jameela Jamil, and Brad Garrett as Elio's main cast members, but another major star was announced at D23.
At the event, where Screen Rant was present, Pixar announced that Zoe Saldaña has joined the cast. Saldaña will play Elio's aunt, Olga Solis. Saldaña recently starred in Avatar: The Way of Water and in Marvel Studios' hit Avengers: Endgame and has earned renown for her performances. Check out the Tweet below, which features an image taken during the announcement:
Saldaña's casting was not the only reveal, however. During the same panel, Pixar showcased a new image from the movie, which features one of Elio's adventures as the presumptive Ambassador of the Earth. Check it out below:
In the promotional image, Elio is seen riding on a wave while clinging to an alien friend and smiling as they rocket through space. It presents a vibrant scene, as both hold glasses filled with a substance filled with balls and tentacles. While it is unclear where they are going, Elio and the alien are enjoying themselves all the while.
Zoe Saldaña Is Perfect For Elio
Saldaña's Experience With Sci-Fi Makes For A Brilliant Addition
Zoe Saldaña is known for continually taking roles in sci-fi movies. She plays a leading character in the Avatar franchise, and recurring supporting roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and in the Kelvin Timeline Star Trek movies. She also has some experience with voice acting, as she has lent her voice to 2014's The Book of Life, 2017's My Little Pony: The Movie, 2019's Missing Link, and 2021's Vivo. With so much experience in the genre and with animation, joining the franchise is a natural decision for Saldaña and for the Elio producers.
Saldaña is not solely a positive addition because of her science-fiction experience, but also because the actor has earned extreme renown through her performances. She starred in four of the top five highest-grossing movies of all time, and can bring added legitimacy to the movie. While Pixar has already renewed its own success with the $1.6 billion Inside Out 2, adding additional star-power will only support its mission to achieving extreme box office success, and Saldaña has the portfolio to support that mission. Check out the chart below, which showcases Saldaña's top box office performances:
Title
Avatar (2009)
Saldaña’s character
Neytiri
Domestic Box Office
$785 million
Title
Avengers Endgame (2019)
Saldaña’s character
Gamora
Domestic Box Office
$858 million
Title
Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
Saldaña’s character
Neytiri
Domestic Box Office
$684 million
Title
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Saldaña’s character
Gamora
Domestic Box Office
$390 million
Title
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
Saldaña’s character
Gamora
Domestic Box Office
$359 million
Casting Saldaña is not the only recent change in the cast. America Ferrera (Barbie) was originally tapped to play Elio's mother, though scheduling conflicts forced her to step away from the project, as she is currently working on Naked by the Window and The Lost Bus. Saldaña's role was announced after her exit, and it is not yet known if she will be replacing Ferrera directly. If so, the movie changed Elio's relationship with the character, as Saldaña is playing his aunt. Regardless of her role, Elio has always boasted its star-studded cast, and Saldaña is an excellent addition.

FT Day 3
1/4/23
Morpheus got a hole in his sleeping pad and had an unpleasant night, leading to an early morning. The rest of the camp slowly came to life as we packed up. Crazy Tom once again asked about water filtration. I think I might have scared everyone as I wandered about trying to find a good spot to dig a cathole. They just heard a large creature walking through the forest in the dark.
We headed into the swamp and it was once again more tiring than we expected, even though we knew exactly what to expect. There was a graceful white egret we passed but luckily not notably dangerous wildlife. We finally arrived on the aptly named Thank God Island, feeling like sailors coming home after months at sea. We took a two hour break there, for some needed and deserved rest. We rearranged my pack because it was hurting my shoulders. We got more of the weight lower in the pack and got the whole thing closer to my shoulders. Buggy joined us, followed by Crazy Tom and Endgame. I mentioned something Fred had said, and one of them said “was it Fred or Brad?” Buggy chimed in “I thought it was Bread.” So we will never solved the mystery of FredBradBread.
We left first and trudged through the swamp. I had convinced myself that the map said the worst of the seam would end in .7 miles. So I was motivated to get those done quickly. That .7 just kept going and going. It finally occurred to me that the worst area was miles 21-27, which continued through mile 27 to mile 28, not ending magically at mile 27. I was somewhere between irate and disappointed.
Finally the trail reached dry ground again. There was a bench sitting there and I had to agree with the comment from another hiker- “this bench saved my life! I could kiss the person who put it here.” It was then only 1.6 to I-75 and the official end of the swamp. The next section was in and out of water but significantly easier and less mentally taxing. My final count of full falls into the swamp was 7.
We emerged gleefully into the rest area and found Buggy. We were so grateful for cold drinks from the vending machine and a water hose to rinse all the sand and gunk gathered in our shoes from the swamp. Crazy Tom and Endgame joined us and we all decompressed after the craziness that was the swamp. They all decided to hike on 5 miles, but we decided to eat dinner there and then go only .5 to a campsite just passed the freeway, where the white noise of the passing cars lulled us to sleep.

Currently Playing Chrono Trigger - Update 1.6
January 28, 2023
So much has happened since my last update. I haven't felt like blogging about it, but I'll do a quick roundup of what I have been up to.
Thankfully, I did mange to beat the Golem Sisters. They were really tough, but once I figured out that their water/ice spells were weak on me, I was able to beat them pretty quickly.
Naturally, I immediately died at the next fight, but I think this one is scripted because the game kept going. *whew*
I defeated Magus, but I learned that you could actually spare him and he would join your team. Ooops. I don't regret my choice to fight him, I am glad Frogi was able to avenge his friend.
So this scary black thing is just hovering around every age.
We (Marley, Frogi, and Robo) got Chrono back! So that's good. We also got to see this cute hug of Marley and Chrono.
Very funny scene of Marley crashing her dad's court hearing. I love her. This was part of the side quest to get the rainbow shell.
Speaking of Marley, I was able to change her name to "Marly"!! I heard one youtuber call her "Marl" like "Carl", and I don't know if that is the correct pronunciation but from the very beginning when I saw her name I read it as "Mar-lee" which is why here on my blog I call her Marley. Anyways, all that to say, I am happy her name finally shows up as Marly.
While in the prehistoric age, I and fought a bunch of monsters to get 20 petals, fangs, horns, and feathers. I got 2 Ruby Armors for Chrono and Frogi because Melchior made a Rainbow Dress for Marley which reduces all magic.
After that, I did the sun shrine quest with Lucca to get a Sun Stone, then Melchior made Chrono's weapon, Rainbow. It is a powerful sword!!
That's where I left off. I'm debating whether I want to do the other side quests or not. I kind of just want to go into the endgame and see how I do first. That way if I am too weak, the other side quests will (hopefully) help me level up. *shrug*

THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS: ENDGAME !!
STAGE I | PART VI ( bring scott back ) → time travel is complicated. especially when you don’t know what you’re doing. still, scott lang was a willing guinea pig and bruce banner had a big brain so it seemed like they at least had to try and see if they could crack the quantum code.
THIS IS THE OFFICIAL COMPLETE CHAT LOG COVERAGE OF THE IC
BRUCE: “Okay, here we go! Time travel test number one!” Bruce stood behind the panels of the machine, checking everything over, making sure they were ready. “Scott-- fire up the uh, the van, thing--” He motioned to the mentioned vehicle in front of them.
SCOTT: Scott approached the set of double doors on Bruce’s orders and popped them open. To say he was nervous was an understatement, but hey, whatever he could do to help, right?
STEVE: Steve came around from the periphery, determination aiding his walk. This was going to work, it had to. “Breakers are set, emergency generators are on standby.” He took his place behind Natasha and Bruce, hands pressed against his hips. He would be lying if he said he didn’t have tension building in his shoulders at the very sight of this experiment.
BRUCE: “Good, because if we blow the grid I don’t wanna lose uh-- tiny here-- in the 1950’s.” Bruce poked a thumb over at Scott, glancing over to see if he was listening while he spoke through gritted teeth.
SCOTT: “Excuse me?” Scott looked up from the helmet he was readjusting, blinking a few times at Bruce incredulously.
NATASHA: “He’s kidding.” Natasha didn’t miss a beat, eyes still trained down on the device she was fiddling with. The smile was supposed to soothe Scott, show him that it was okay. Glancing up at Bruce, her smile stayed in place. “You can’t say things like that.” her tone was light and pseudo chiding.
BRUCE: Bruce turned around, feeling a bit guilty and panicked. “Just-- it was, it was a bad joke--” He did his best to pull it off. But he failed. He hadn’t been joking.
SCOTT: Joke or not, Scott felt the weight of his words as he turned towards the quantum machine, helmet in hand, his life completely out of them.
NATASHA: The smile fell. “You were kidding, right?” Her voice was hushed but urgent.
BRUCE: He leaned down to Nat, his voice as a loud whisper. “I have no idea! We’re talking about time travel here! Either it’s all a joke, or none of it is.” Then without a moment’s hesitation, Bruce turned back to Scott with an all-too-big smile on his face and a thumbs up reassuringly in the air. “We’re good! Get your helmet on!” In theory, this should work. But the truth was that he had no clue what he was doing. “Scott, we’re gonna send you back a week, let you walk around an hour and then bring you back in ten seconds. Make sense?”
SCOTT: Helmet on, his waved Bruce’s words off. “Perfectly non-confusing.” Because in a time life this, when wasn’t humor necessary? Especially when your body was about to be pulled apart by time itself and flung around like a pin ball machine.
STEVE: He gave a curt nod to Scott, “Good luck.” His voice was clear despite the adrenaline pumping through his veins. “You got this.” Because there wasn’t another option. He knew the moment Scott disappeared his demeanor would fall away, revealing the curiosity --- and fear --- that Steve Rogers felt.
SCOTT: “You’re right.” He gave the cheesiest grin his smile could muster. “I do, Captain America.” And before he could lose his grin, he was snatched back through time.
BRUCE: Scott when in to the portal-- that was the easy part. Bruce leaned over the control panel, eyes glancing between the van and the switches at his hands, and began a countdown. “Alright in three-- two-- one--” And after a few clicks from the panel, Scott was back. Only, there was something off--
SCOTT: Scott could feel the prepubescence coursing through him. All he could think about was the original Pokémon on Gameboy color and girls. “Uh, guys? --- What’s going on? This—this doesn’t feel right.”
NATASHA: Oh, hell. Bruce was saying to hold on, Steve was asking questions. Natasha had looked hopeful but now confusion painted her features. “What -- is that -- is that Scott?”
SCOTT: He felt the teen mood swing jilt him as he snapped at Natasha. “Yes it’s Scott!” And then he was pulled back in, forced through time..
BRUCE: Yeah, Scott was a kid. That wasn’t supposed to happen. “W-What’s happening--?” In a panic, Bruce began searching over the controls, trying to figure out what to do. He leaned down, flipping a bunch of switches almost as if he had no idea which one would work, and then sent Scott back in the portal and out again.
STEVE: “What is this?” the normal bravado to his voice had shriveled up. Scott had returned a teen, then an old man. What were they doing? He took off to circle behind Bruce.
SCOTT: “Oh, my back.” He sounded like his old man Georgio on his mother’s side as he clutched behind him, suddenly finding it harder and harder for him to remain standing. What was that warm trickle down his leg?
STEVE: “Yeah, yeah, yeah,” he rushed through Bruce’s explanations and excuses. “Can you bring him back?” He stopped when he was next to Natasha; it wasn’t as if approaching the van would solve anything.
BRUCE: And repeat-- lots of switches flipped, buttons clicked. “I’m working on it!” This was definitely not going according to plan. Bruce took one of the screens and gave it a frustrated smack before sucking Scott back in again. He came out as a baby.
NATASHA: Once again the machine moved, once again something that wasn’t right came out. Under normal circumstances the baby would have been cute. Not when it was in Scott’s suit sitting there staring at them.
STEVE: “It’s a baby.” It would be funny if it wasn’t so ridiculous.
BRUCE: “It’s Scott!” Bruce was obviously frazzled. At least the guy they were sending through time wasn’t dead, and it was still him. Some credit was still due.
STEVE: “As a baby!”
BRUCE: "He'll grow!"
STEVE: He turned towards Bruce, “Bring Scott back.”
BRUCE: Feeling his tension grow, Bruce turned to Nat, motioning her to go. “When I say kill the power-- kill the power!” He waited as long as he could to let her get into place, flipping more switches yet again, and then he was ready.
NATASHA: “Oh my god.” Natasha was barely breathing as she quickly moved over to the machine and acted on Bruce’s command.
BRUCE: “And-- kill it!” One last time, Scott was out of the portal and as it powered down, they were able to see that the current Scott was finally back.
SCOTT: Scott shot out of the quantum generator on shaky knees, his eyes as wide as his stance. “Somebody peed my pants,” he exclaimed.
NATASHA: “Thank god.” Natasha grabbed her chest, fear subsiding.
SCOTT: “But I don’t know if it was baby me or old me.” There was a long pause, Scott still felt pretty shaken up. “Or just me me.”
BRUCE: “Time travel!” Bruce threw his arms up in celebration, finally able to relax since Scott was back alive and well, and they managed to actually accomplish anything at all. The rest of the room was not as enthusiastic, but he didn’t care.
STEVE: Steve just shook his head, walking away from Scott and Bruce. What an embarrassing failure. Tony had been right.
BRUCE: He continued to be joyful even as they all walked away. “What? I see this as an absolute win!”
STEVE: Steve exited the Avenger’s Institute, both the realization of their failure and the loss of what they could’ve had weighing him down. He stopped just at the edge of the walk before it broke off into the road and let the sunlight bear down on him. They had to find another way.All of his brooding came to a halt as he heard the familiar squeal of an Audi and a stretch of curiosity piqued his interest. The car soared past him, eased onto its brakes, and then inched its way back to where Steve stood. Yup, it was definitely Tony.
TONY: A dramatic entrance was overdue. Very, very much overdue. Not that Tony kept his cars locked up to collect dust, even now that he lived next to a beautiful lake, because he certainly didn’t. He liked taking them for a drive when he could, and Morgan loved when he drove the two of them along the water when it was nice out. But this was a special occasion. He hadn’t been in this building for years, and part of his still couldn’t believe he was actually back. So, a dramatic entrance was needed. His brakes screeched as he slowed down, just a little too late, and then had to back up to be next to Steve. After rolling down the window, Tony glanced up and did his best not to be smug. “Why the long face? Wait, let me guess-- he turned into a baby.”
STEVE: He let out a hard exhale. “Among other things yeah. What are you doing here?”
TONY: There was a hint of a smirk on his lips as Tony opened the door and exited the car. “It’s the EPR paradox-- instead of pushing Lang through time, you might have pushed time through Lang. It’s tricky. Dangerous.” Tony closed the door, taking a step closer to the other man. “Someone could have cautioned you against it. Or turned you against it.”
STEVE: “You did.”
TONY: “Oh, did I?” Tony feigned surprise, his hidden smirk not so hidden anymore. “Well thank god I’m here. Regardless, I fixed it.” He lifted his hand to show off a device wrapped around his knuckles. “A fully functioning time-space GPS.” He watched Steve’s reaction-- that soft smile enter his features-- and felt himself become both more relaxed and tense at the same time. Pepper was right. He wouldn’t have been able to rest if he hadn’t come here. But being here made him nervous. “I just want peace.” He held up two fingers for a brief moment and then let his hand fall back to his side.
STEVE: He really couldn’t have expressed how much they had needed this, and both the words and the sight of what could have fixed their problem brought a smile to Steve’s face. Also, Tony’s smug attitude was a familiar sight.
TONY: “Turns out-- resentment is corrosive, and I hate it.”
STEVE: “Me too.”
TONY: Tony inhaled and gave Steve a nod. Time to be serious. “We have a shot at getting the stones, but I gotta tell you what my priority is. Bring back what we lost? I hope, yes. But keep what I found? I have to. At all costs.” After everything, there was no way Tony was jeopardizing his family. He pushed himself off of his car where he had been leaning against it and made his way over to Steve. “And-- maybe not die trying. That would be nice.”
STEVE: Steve held is hand out. “Sounds like a deal.”
TONY: There was no hesitation after Steve offered his hand. Tony shook it, feeling a bit more at ease and grateful that even after all this time, the two of them could be standing here together. He smiled, knowing that he had made the right choice in bringing a specific something back for his friend, and motioned for Steve to follow him as he moved to the trunk of his car. After he opened it, he picked up something large covered in loose linens and then dumped the fabric off to reveal the shield. The exact one Steve had dumped at his feet in Siberia. The exact one that had been sitting in his garage for years on end, haunting him. Reminding him of things that had gone wrong. But now it was home. Tony flipped it so the colors were facing Steve and presented it to him.
STEVE: Steve looked at the shield Tony held before him. A lot of memories came with that, a lot of loss and destruction. “Tony, I don’t know.”
TONY: “Why?” It seemed like a no brainer to him. Tony was wrong-- it didn’t belong to Howard. And it sure as hell didn’t belong to him. Besides, they needed a bit of that Cap spirit going forward. “He made it for you. And honestly--” He flipped it again, moving to the slide the bracers on the back onto Steve’s arm. “I have to get it out of the garage before Moran takes it sledding.” And when it was sat right where it should be, Tony let it go.
STEVE: He fit his forearm through the straps, his arm immediately taking the weight of it as if it were merely a memory come to life. He didn’t know what it meant to wield it again, but he knew it felt right. “Thank you Tony.”
TONY: “Will you keep that a little quiet? Didn’t bring one for the whole team.” Tony teased, grabbing one last thing out of his trunk before closing it.” “We are.. getting the whole team, yeah?”
STEVE: “We’re working on that right now.”

Hashira ft. Sabito as genshin impact players
aunotes : Bad grammar ahead! I didnt proofread it so be aware of brain damage. plus i initially wrote it at the 1.6 update
PART 1 : T.Muichiro, R.Kyojuro, K.Shinobu, S.Sanemi, U.Tengen
Muichiro : he probably would be uninterested at first. He's more to first person shooting game or anything other than this concept of farming or investing. So that's why when he saw yuichirou banging his fist on his desk, trying to get his fav character, he would simply just watch
"Fck this game, i've had enough,"
"But you havent finish your wishing things yet,"
Stares. "How about you give it a try mui. You might get the character i want,"
"You sure about that? You might get angry at me," "better than nothing. Now go go, get em you donkey,"
His first ten pulls on the game brings out a light we all want to see
"Eh is tha-" "AAAA A FUCKING 5 STAR FCK FCKFCK,"
Apparently, it was one of the luckiest wish yuichiro had ever seen so far
"OHMYFUCK, you GOT A GODDAMN KLEE, QIQI AND SUCROSE WTFF???"
"I think i get your fav character?"
"Yeahh!! More than that to be honest. I want klee but you brought me two more person," sniffles and cries "you're really lucky mui. You should try and play the game,"
"It's probably the system. I doubt im that lucky tho,"
Nah, he really is lucky. Apparently he wished for his friends and got what they all really wanted for so long
"Thank you for getting me the aquila favonia, muichiro,"
"It's nothing really. I just simply press the button. It might be the system that's giving you the thing you want when i wish,"
"But still, even if i were to wish, i can get really scared and paranoid over it,"
"That's bad. You shouldnt invest yourself that much in the game tanjiro. It's just a game,"
"Ehehehe, i guess so. But you're really good at it muichiro! If you download it, we can play together :D!"
!!!!
It took the word "play together" to get muichiro down on his knee for that game. Usually the idea of playing with your friends is not that interesting. So when tanjiro said that, you bet he's going to play it
Type of player
Extremely lucky it's not even real. He got a five star on the beginner's banner
Fast farming. He probably will complete all the quest and become an endgame player within one month
"I just wanted to play with tanjiro..." bashfully
He's really good with whatever he's doing. Attack combo, dodging, elemental reaction and all sorts of stuff. If he invest more of his time on artifacts, he would probably even one shot it!!
He's very lucky. Very
Kyojuro : he wouldnt even know the existence of this game. Well, he took a glimpse of it one day and boom, heart stolen. Maybe it was the fiery burning passion in bennett that made him play the game.
'oh wow!! What a determined young boy! Even though he has a very bad luck he still keep pushing forward! Amazing!!'
'I want to be like him'
Kyojuro's the type of player to read and pay attention to every single lore of his fav character. Bennett, oh my how he wish he could've had bennett in his team. Every wishes he made would make him a c6 bennett main if only barbara wont stop coming home
"I really like you barbara but i dont want you!! Thank you for the c6 though!! I promise to use you in the future but just-" he prepares to wish
"not NOW!!" Clicks
The highest con of bennett he had ever gotten is probably c1. One day the paimon's bargain shop offered bennett as their monthly character. Kyojuro had never been so excited over a game before. He usually perks up over academics and not this kind of thing. But it's bennett, the character he admires the most.
Unfortunately he couldnt get it due to low currency. He had never feel so sad in his life.
"I shall not give up. Dont worry, i will be a c6 bennett main!!!"
He will be a c6 bennett haver!!
Type of player :
Carefully reads every stories and listens to their lines attentively. He finds it amazing how the company spent their everything on this game. It amazes him. From the stories, lores and lines, he truly appreciates it.
Balance his team pretty well. He mains bennett so he doesnt need that much of a healer in his team.
Enjoys bennett's hangout very much!! He tried to not get him killed by the dungeon's trap but ended up having to sacrifice him which ultimately ends the route. He had never felt so down and guilty before.
Not much of a damage dealer. He prefers to play it in normal mode and doesnt care that much about one shotting monster.
He feeds his character three meals a day!! If only there's a sleep option, he would be sending bennett to sleep first before the rest.
Everyone loves his teapot
Shinobu : found the game while she's scrolling through the app store out of boredom. Initially she played it on her phone but due to the fps and a really bad ping, so bad that douma wouldnt find her interesting anymore, she finally downloaded the game on her pc where things has starting to get real
"Ara, shinobu chan, it's lunch time already. Come downstairs please,"
"Sis give me five more minutes, JUST FIVE PLEASE I NEED TO KICK CHILDE's ASS,"
"he's not going anywhere sweetie,"
"yEAHH BUT MY BP IS,"
'Bp?'
"DIE DIE DIE!!" Aggresive clicking intensifies
"Shinobu chan dont hurt the keyboard that much!!"
She got lucky on the beginner's banner too and pulled a 5 star along with bennett and noelle. Who's the 5 star? Diluc Ragnvindr in all of his glory. Shinobu benched him sadly. She prefers sword over any other weapon
"I mean he's cool i guess but i just really dont get that 'WOAHHH COOL' vibe from him you know?"
"then give your diluc to me! I really want him so bad shinobu chan!"
Deep sighs "yeah sure. You can have my c2 diluc mitsuri..."
Loses 50/50 to diluc everytime everyone would think she either is lucky or cursed by the amount of that man greeting him on the screen. She still bench him though, sadly
"Im begging you, give me jEANN THE GRANDMASTER I NEED HEALER iN MY PARTY TO DO ABYSS
Type of player :
Suffers a lot in the abyss because she just want the primos which is a valid reason to do because that's the only thing that keeps her going
She's a sword character main. She'll properly build every character as either support or dps. The support would be kaeya and bennett, and her main dps ayaka
Ayaka main btw
Honestly at some point she wanted to quit the game because of how tiring it is but then inazuma came out
Fragile resin = 0
Resin = 160/160 happens once in a blue moon
"i should probably control myself with the amount of resin i've used,"
"But i cant,"
Hates domain but always can be seen playing in there
Only coops if mitsuri is there
"So that someone can calm me down,"
"That's not a really good reason shinobu chan,"
Sanemi : dude probably know the game through obanai. He watched the latter play and finds it interesting on how high the numbers he dealt. He loves challenges so a game like genshin impact would probably satisfy his need.
"Obanai, are you hearing this shit?"
"What is it sanemi, im busy doing this event,"
"That loser giyuu is also playing the game,"
"Oh yeah i know,"
"YOU KNOW? WHY YOU DIDNT TELL ME??"
"i just know right after you told me,"
"...."
Sanemi's a meta but a mediocre one. He's meta but he doesnt show it that much. Probably buys welkin once in every three months or when he really needs it same goes with battle pass too. Honestly, he really just use his money when he really needs something
"Donno if my allowance can buy me a welkin so i'll probably skip,"
"But the next banner is zhongli's,"
"....."
"Ah fuck it," buys
My man cant dodge after he got zhongli. Its very painful because he used to studies the enemies movement in the early game so that he can utilizes it on the team but zhongli's shield is so tank he forgot that dodging exists
"Im gonna kill you and you and you hhahaahhaah just you wait im gonna shred all of yo- oh shit zhongli's shield. puT IT BACK PUT IT BACK ON,"
That one event where zhongli's shield plays an important role in the domain? Yeah, he felt like a god at that time. Even got his c2 on his rerun. Sanemi just really like zhongli because it kinda reminds him of himejima. Calm and wise and strong too. He looks up on that kind of person
"Zhongli sama, im in debt for all of your hard work protecting my team," bows and wipes tears
Type of player :
Spends a little money on the game to get what he wants
Zhongli main
Is that one player that has hoards of food but doesnt even use it
"Why need healer when you have zhongli's shield,"
Compare to kyojuro, he doesnt even touch the teapot because he finds it ridiculous and bothersome to create and design everything in it
Loves one shotting bosses and compares it to giyuu. He ask for advices from obanai regarding team build supports and stuffs
Doesnt do character's story quest. The key is full every single time. He unlocks it but leaves the quest like that.
"Ah shit, i accidentally activate the quest,"
His friend list only has obanai in it. Whenever people sent him friend request, he wouldnt hesitate, more like wouldnt care to accept it
They either have to coop in obanai's world or his world and after that, unfriend immediately
Says thank you after coop because he has manners and then completely disappears
"Zhongli main forever,"
Tengen : played since 1.0 this madlad has been staying loyal to the game ever since. Quite huge amount of money he spend on this game to be honest but he never gets broke by it. You can see his regular donation to the game by purchasing welkin and battle pass and some genesis crystal too. He's loaded with money, he didnt know what to do with it.
Uzui also plays honkai impact and guns girl Z so when he saw the unknown god at the intro , he was not surprised.
"Oh we have to pick between the siblings? Cool cool co- oh hi kiana,"
"Thats so herrscher of void hahahahah,"
Although he is a loyal fan to MihoYo games, he lost his composure when he saw the 1st genshin anniversary reward because what was that. Imagine getting billions of money and they give us this? Tengen cant believe this shit
"Oh god wtf was that reward, i have to draw to get a welkin and some primos?? aND I ALSO HAVE TO BE LUCKY? WHAT-"
"WHERE'S MY FREE MONA,"
In need of mona. He needs mona so bad he literally spent his money on standard banner to get mona but always ends up with qiqi. Not that he's complaining but he just wants the astrologist to complete the support team
"GOD QIQI YOU AGAIN? WTF WFF WTF-" converts genesis crystal to primigems
"Tengen, you should control yourself!"
"SHUT UP KYOJURO, IM GONNA WASTE MY MONEY TILL I GET HER,"
"yeah but my f2p ass is hurting with how many bennett cons you got," droops
Tengen sees potential in every character. Everyone has their weakness and strength so when kokomi comes out, he diss her at first but then realize maybe its a new way for a character. Adds the uniqueness if he may say so.
"Meh i dont care honestly. You guys should pull whoever you find nice or beautiful. Like me ;)"
"Who do you main uzui?"
"Beidou,"
Type of player
Spoils the storylines, lores, leaks A LOT THE REST HAVE TO BLOCK HIM ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Speed runs the game and has become an endgame player ever since but he still does his daily commission and helps people with domains and stuffs
R5 every battle pass weapon
Fights azhdaha for fun and to test out his characters rather than ruin guards and stuff
Mona wanter
Puts traveller as the pfp and doesnt display any showcase of his characters and namecards. You can only see his achievements and spiral abyss ( 12-3 ). Says its for fun and mystery
Throws a lot of pickup lines and roleplays a lot. Spams your chatbox messages with stickers and censored stuffs
Probably steals your ores and exotic things like violetgrass, qingxin and silk flowers
Screams in the chatbox whenever he saw Mona until Kyojuro had to calm him down
Changes signature every single time and sometimes put spoilers in it
In every survey he would complain "MihoYo where the fuck is my Mona,"
Doesnt heals his characters

some thoughts from watching the 1.6 trailer thing....
- jean’s new outfit is amazing and the pricing on it is Stupid AF
- i wonder if weird samurai puppet master lady (?) is mona’s master. its a bit of a stretch but its the only ~scary~ unknown lady with a connection to klee i can think of
- i am VERY glad we seem to be getting more lore about visions
- the seashell activity also seems like it can bring a lot of good lore to the table
- some of those minigames seem fun but... i really do have to go -_- at mhy’s using random minigame events to try and combat lack of any endgame content
#my interest in genshin was waning so this update is welcome#if it is what i think it is#genshin impact
