Oggi sto pranzando al Mc. La mia coccola quando vengo in città. Chi mi conosce lo sa quanto ami questi "cibo spazzatura" quindi dove sta la novità? Solitamente cercavo il tavolo più nascosto possibile, non volevo farmi vedere troppo. Da chi? Boh! Ero convinta che la gente mi giudicasse perché grassa e perché insisteva a mangiare questo cibo. Da qualche settimana invece ho preso l'abitudine di sedermi davanti alla vetrina. Non perché lo spettacolo sia emozionante ma perché non mi vergogno più. For the first time in possibly my entire life, I am over winter! 😂 I blame it on all of the fun I had at the pool last summer 🤷🏼‍♀️. Fun that was due in large part to my not giving a hoot about anyone else’s thoughts or opinions and rocking swimsuits all summer long 🎉 I used to secretly hate summer because I hated my body & summer meant not being able to hide it under layers of clothes. Y’all I didn’t even own shorts! I look back now & wonder how I even survived summer AND wish I had made the decision to embrace my body years earlier. If any of this sounds familiar to you, know that you’re not alone in your struggle but you also don’t have to stay in it! Not one single bad thing happened to me at a pool last summer. No one said anything to me because no one cared! The world didn’t end because a fat girl was in a swimsuit having fun at the pool. So get out there & embrace your body! Rock thatswimsuit!
