Here, Khan holds aloft an enlarged version of an old black-and-white museum cataloguing image of a “Jingle Johnny” processional stand from the eighteenth century. Dating to the Ottoman era, the stand once heralded a procession with its tinkling bells, now silent in the controlled space of museum storage.
