"Oh Azuraaa" The booming voice of the scout called out for her, having looked all over and at last finding her alone.

"I've heard you've lost something, hm? Is this true?" There was a hint of mocking in his voice, which was only made clearer with the grin he wore.

His heart sank as he pushed the door open and looked around to find nothing.

"FUCK!" He cried out.

Where could she have gone?

It had been far too late for her to be continuing her missions. Neo didn't care if he looked mad, he ran through the castle calling out her name. They pushed open every break room door to every balcony they had access to.

"AZURA! AZURA, WHERE ARE YOU?!" They called out with all their might. "CAN YOU HEAR ME?!"

They were full blown panicking now. They didn't like the look of that man before and now his friend was missing. This was bad.

This was very bad.

The scout ran over to her quarters looking at the shut door. He tried not to panic but began to knock on it rather quickly, he needed to know that she was okay.

That the mirror hadn't been tricking her or just hurting her in some fashion.

"Azura?" He called out to her. "Are you in there? Are you okay?"

His heart was racing as he steadied his staff in his hands. They were sure not much harm could come to her as long as he was in that mirror, but they didn't want to take their chances.

No answer from the other side of the door. It was way too quiet for anyone to be in there, and if he had barged in there was no sight of the human, bed still made and untouched since morning.

It was almost night now. She should've been in her quarters around this time for curfew.

“The Collector, huh?” She chimes back, their voice echoing through the deep and dark cavities of the halls. “That’s interesting, what exactly are you collecting? Or I guess, used to- and of course I have a name, it’s how we differentiate from one another. Though I guess you can call me Azura the Human.”

“Well, I was supposed to collect living things to “preserve” them, but that’s sooooo boring, so I only did that sometimes. It’s much more fun to play with creatures that can react. Anyway, so I mostly collected cool stuff, like shiny trinkets and smooth pebbles and eyeballs and plushies and shedded shells of shiny bugs and pieces of glass and also bones and other stuff I can’t think of right now!”

The Collector giggled from the shadows.

“Azzzzuuuurraaaa. Azura. Azura,Azura,Azuuuura.”

The human scout's been trying to find Philip's secrets for a while now, watching him disappear into the head of the Titan each time when he claims to be out for an important meeting. With burning curiosity the human eventually gathers enough courage to step into the darkness, only to be greeted with a massive grey door and a few workshop tables more than anything. Azura cries out in frustration.

"All those steps and there's nothing but boring paperwork? Ugh!"

They were supposed to hide and keep quiet, and most of the time they would, but Philip had been covering up their table a lot lately, so the Collector was even more restless and bored than usual. The boredom itched under his skin like a disease. They couldn’t stand it anymore!

Scouts were pretty disposable, anyway, so it’s not like it would really matter.

Suddenly, shadows spread across the room, glowing eyes and a grinning face appearing on the table closest to Azura.

“BOO! You shouldn’t be in heeeerreee! You’re gonna be in big trouble!”

A child’s voice echoed around the room, sounding like it somehow came from everywhere.

Neo let out a small yell as he heard his door open and shut, he turned rather quickly and hissed from moving his arm too fast. He focused in on what Azura said, slight suspicion rising.

"How did they know we were looking? Let's at least bring some protection incase this is a trap."

As good as it sounded, everything seemed to be out to get them these days. Better safe then petrified.

[A second letter arrives, almost immediately ;] SHOOT, I forgot to give a place to meet up... agh! Forgive me. As a show of good faith, you can bring your friend with you as well? I promise I mean no ill will, but that doesn't mean much here.... [a location is attatched.] - ? (@covenofficialkikimora )

She immediately folds the letter and keeps it in her pocket, donning her cape and mask so that she can keep suspicions low. Swiftly she enters Neo's quarters and locks the door behind her, making sure that they were alone and it was safe enough to talk.

"Neo. I've got word from someone that they can help us find the time pools. We need to hurry before anyone catches up pn us. Are you ready?"

Wellll yeaaaaa, but they are relativly easy to hide! I keep this guys in a nest i made in a secret cupboard in my room and they dont make too much noise, only issue is that the lil crocodile guy bites a bit but they are harmless :]

"Yes, yeeees! I've played that game before! I looove games! Games, games. Hmmmmm..." as Azura walked along, the Collector spotted a baby tree; a sapling.

"I spy with my little eye...something beginning with s!" he looked upwards, at the sky. He hoped it would be nighttime soon, so he could see the stars. They hadn't seen the stars in forever!

The Collector darted around, shape-shifting to emphasise what they were talking about: first, a ball that seemed to represent their prison; an imitation of Azura; an insect on a hand; and then the Collector's default form, but eating a bug.

"Philip never really did that much, and he stopped when he became the Emperor. I'm his secret friend. It's sooooo boooooring! Boriiiiiing! He covers up my disc completely a lot, too... I don't like that. You won't cover it up completely, right? I can be quiet!"

Would it be different from when they last saw it? He wasn’t sure if he’d seen the outside world at all in the past few decades.

Was that long enough for anything to change? Buildings, maybe! Maybe the trees would be taller! Hm… There were probably a lot less trees, since Belos used up so much palistrom wood.

“If it rained, you’d be doooomed, cuz you’re a squishy little human!” the Collector felt the warmth on their disc, and slithered out, seeing the sky for the first time in ages. The trees were still a familiar shade of orange, and that comforted them somehow.

“Woah! Everything is so big! There are sooo many sounds out here! I want to touch everything!”

They slithered along the floor, feeling the ghost of the textures of the grass and fallen leaves.

“Hehehe! This is the most fun I’ve had in forever!”
