Kuzco's design is so eye-catching and memorable(I find myself doodling him in sketchbooks all the time lol), I can't even be mad we never got 'Kingdom of the Sun'. I am however really mad we didn't get the Snuff Out The Light song for Yzma. Really sad this movie wasn't allowed to just bake in the oven a little more because of merchandise contracts :(( fascinating to read about tho

I was asked to be a guest artist for the @twosidesfanzine recipe book zine and it was with great enthusiasm that I illustrated an Emperor's New Groove themed piece!

The only real prompt I had for this piece was that it had to include the associated recipe (meat pies) and something with the diner from the movie. Otherwise, I was free to be as zany as possible. So I went all out with the craziness! This was an extra-complicated piece with the background, perspective, and multiple characters, but ultimately a good challenge and learning experience. Plus, any excuse to draw the Emperor’s New Groove characters is a good excuse! I kept telling people that drawing Yzma a little off-model is okay so long as she’s scary beyond all reason 😂

Trigun fandom talking about an emperor's new groove au (Or, The Stampede's New Groove as @revenantghost called it (though then it would have to be Vash in Zazie's place?)) has been greatly entertaining...your minds are magnificent, guys!

I can go for both Vash or Zazie as Kuzco, but the Zazie and Wolfwood combo sounds so much fun and Zazie is cool sooo. I gave Vash the role as Chicha (having the family with Wolfie he deserves)

And, Knive's underlings of course are just the Gung Ho Guns.
