y/n and quinn had been together in michigan for a week now and his brothers were yet to meet her. she had met his parents a couple months before and they’ve loved her ever since. ellen treated her as if she were her own daughter. they would talk about quinn and his behavior and quinn would be in the back, getting offended. jim was like her second father. he was protective of her and was his little girl even if they weren’t blood related.

the couple were on the couch, all cozy and cuddling when they heard a car pull up outside. quinn looked down at y/n who had her eyes closed, trying to go asleep after being out that day. “babe,” quinn heard a mumble come from the girl, “they’re here.” she grumbled in response.

quinn had told her last night that they would arrive at the lake house tomorrow evening. she was half asleep when he told her so all he got from her was an “okay,” before he began to hear soft snores come from her mouth.

“quinny, let me sleep please,” y/n whispered, “i’ll meet them later.”

quinn just smiled and leaned down to kiss her temple. he rested his head on top of hers and closed his eyes, hoping to sleep as well.

unfortunately, in this household, a good nights sleep was never a thing. that was proven as the front door suddenly burst open which quinn jumped slightly at the action and caused y/n to stir in her sleep, letting out a small whine.

“honey, we’re home!” an, oh, so familiar voice announced.

quinn turned his head to the side and peaked over the couch. as soon as he saw his brothers, he couldn’t help but roll his eyes at their antics and go back to trying to go to sleep.

he heard chattering and the padding of footsteps get closer, indicating they were coming his way. he began to think of a way of how he would get up without waking up y/n. there was no way.

quinn reopened his eyes and saw two figures standing in front of him. “what the fuck?” he questioned and his brothers laughed at his face.

“i see you’ve been having fun.” luke said and his eyes traveled down to y/n’s sleeping figure and he raised an eyebrow at quinn. “like i knew you had a girlfriend but she’s way out of your league.”

quinn let out a fake chuckle. “get the hell out and let us sleep.” he commented and wrapped his arms around y/n, his arm covering her face from jack and luke.

“but we just got here.” jack pointed out and luke murmured in agreement.

“then go up to your rooms.”

“but we want to meet your girlfriend.” luke stated with a fake pout.

quinn glared at the pair. “she’s sleeping so leave,” he stated and closed his eyes, protecting y/n from their view.

“we’re coming back when you’re both wide awake.” jack pointed a finger at quinn before he and quinn went to the front to get their bags and head upstairs.

quinn shook his head and went back to sleep, awaiting the moment of when y/n wakes up.

the couple had surprisingly slept for an hour and a half. it surprised quinn since he knew his brothers and the amount of noise they made whenever one of them were sleeping.

y/n had begun to wake as she had begun to squirm in quinn’s hold. he let out a groan and held her closer to his body, her squirming subsiding. “q, let go.” she mumbled into his chest. he held her tight. “quinn.”

“go to sleep, princess.” quinn whispered, his eyes still closed.

y/n started to squirm once again. “no, i have to meet your brothers as i said before.” she really wanted to meet luke and jack but with quinn’s hold keeping her restrained, it was impossible.

“they can wait.”

“no we can’t.”

quinn snapped his head towards the voice and y/n lifted her head and looked towards the boy. “why are you everywhere luke?”

luke shrugged, “i don’t know,” he sat at the end of the couch, “i just am.”

quinn rolled his eyes and looked down at y/n. “well you’ve met luke,” he told her.

“and the other?”

“i have a name.” jack.

y/n turned towards the boy, “yeah i know. sorry jack.”

jack shrugged and sat next to luke who gave jack a look. “what?” luke stared at him for a second before using all his force to push jack off. he fell with a thud and quinn, luke, and y/n laughed. “asshole.”

“man whore.”

jack looked up at luke. he got up within a second before he pounced onto luke. the two began to fight, jokingly, of course. jack had an arm wrapped around luke who let out a scream. “get off of me.” luke managed to get out despite jack’s arm suffocating him. luke continuously slapped jack’s arm in an effort for his older brother to let go.

“no.” the two continued to fight and quinn and y/n just stayed there laughing at the two.

“well you’ve met thing 1 and thing 2.” quinn said as he looked down at y/n. “i don’t know how they haven’t killed each other in jersey yet.”

y/n looked up at him. “you have a wonderful family.”

“aren’t we just lovely?” luke asked as he wriggled under jack’s hold. “also one more question,” y/n and quinn looked at him, “did quinn force you to get with him?”

jack’s head perked up at this. “oh yeah, did he?” he let go of luke as he turned towards his older brother and his girlfriend.

y/n only chuckled and quinn gave them a death stare. “no, i didn’t. she simply fell in love with me.”

jack and luke looked at each other. suddenly, the two bursted out laughing. both quinn and y/n were confused. they had a look on there face as the younger pair continued laughing. “what?”

“oh, we’re sorry but how is it that a girl like her, take this in a good way, would fall in love with a guy like you?” jack said and luke was still too busy laughing.

quinn looked at them, offended, “what’s that supposed to mean?”

“she’s beautiful! and you’re just..you.” luke exclaimed. “like let’s be real here.”

y/n turned to them, “i didn’t fall in love with him because of his looks, i fell in love with him because of his personality,” she looked towards quinn before looking back at the younger brothers, “although sometimes he’s a little interesting.”

“what do you mean interesting?”

“a wet cat.”

When honey falls in love for the first time it’s sweet and gentle, full of unrequited feelings and fleeting glances.

Honey made eye contact with Quinn Hughes for the first time through the lens of the camera held up to her eye, her heart stopping for a millisecond as she watched his fast pace skating coming to a halt, just to stare at her for a second longer.

The camera in her hand lowered as blush crawled up her cheeks, nipping the tips of her ears before the sound of the head coach's loud whistle startled her.

On her drive home from the rink, it was like her heart couldn't keep a steady pace, running a mile a minute, feigning to get home to the comfort of her private room so she could quietly freak out about the boy she had yet to have a conversation with.

The moment she made it to her room, she immediately locked her door and closed her blinds, preparing herself for the major freakout that the world just wasn't ready to see yet. She began pacing the entirety of her room before throwing herself down on her bed, face in her hands as she fought off the urge to squeal as loudly as possible.

"Hey hun, you okay in there?" the gentle voice of her mom appeared on the other end of the door. "I don't know," she said weakly before standing up to let her mom in, "I met the new boy, he's so cute, I think I'm in love," her voice was laced with haze as she thought back to practice. Her mother laughed at her dramatics, fingers running through her daughter's hair as Honey laid her head in her mother's lap, "that's very forward, don't ya' think?" "You know what I mean!" she groaned, melting at the rhymic touch of her mom playing with her hair.

The older woman smiled at the antics, ones that reminded her of a younger version of herself, "he is a hockey boy though," Honey sighed, "sluts." "You don't even know the poor boy, Hun, you can't just assume," her face pulled into a frown as her daughter looked up at her innocently. "Doesn't matter anyways, I can fix him" she laughed as her mother rolled her eyes.

"When Emma falls in love, it's all on her face, Hangs in the air like stars in outer space"

She can’t help but flush at the mention of his name, her head filled with giddy thoughts of the boy she’d never spoken to. Quinn Hughes becomes a victim of her love-sick imagination as she watches him from afar.

"Y/n, you're taking photos of the new Hughes boy next, Coach will be bringing him in a moment" Her boss, who wasn't much older than her, smiled as she helped the younger girl with the backdrop.

Honey's face broke out in a bright shade of pink as she nodded, her lips forming a tight straight line as her boss' brows quirked at her flustered appearance, "you look a little red" she joked. "It's just hot in here," she shrugged awkwardly as she went to charge the backup battery for the camera just in case. "Yeah okay," her tone sarcastic, "you look a little love-struck to me." "Nope, just warm!"

Quinn entered the room shyly, stealing glances towards the girl his age who was conversing with the coach and her boss about what photos they needed from her. Her attention averted to the boy staring at her, feeling his haze on her with a stunned look on his face as hers flushed red.

Both the coach and her boss stared at the two of them, blushing like idiots, with amused grins as they left them to get the media taken care of

Her mom dialled Ellen's number after searching the house for any signs of life, "Hey Ellen! Sorry to be a bother but my daughter wouldn't happen to be at your house would she? She didn't come home after school" "I believe so! Just give me a sec to yell out for her," Ellen held the phone away from her head, "Honey! Are you upstairs!" she yelled out to be met with a muffled confirmation from Quinn's room.

"She's here, do you need me to send her home?" Ellen asked with a laugh, looking over at her youngest son at the kitchen counter who stared at her in agony as she helped him with his math homework. "No no, it would just be nice if she would give me heads up," she joked bitterly, "I've been seeing less and less of her recently since they found out we were neighbours." "I know!"

Luke listened to the laughter from upstairs, frowning at the sound of happiness as he looked down at the equations in front of him, "I would send her home," he said pointedly. A smirk on his face as Jack perked his head up from his spot on the living room couch, "They're in love, can't imagine what they're doing with no adult supervision" he mumbled grumpily making Ellen furrow her brows and point at his homework. "Be quiet and do your work," she said pushing a pencil on the sheet in front of him.

"Sorry about that, I'll send her home before dinner, promise" she mused before hanging up the phone.

It had already been a shit day, but to top it all off Honey had run into Quinn in the hallway, his arms wrapped comfortably around the waist of some random blonde in their grade, crushing her little heart as he looked up at her and nodded so nonchalantly.

She was heartbroken, feeling such strong emotions for the first time as she walked home by herself. Passing up on Ellen's offer to drive her home so she didn't have to be in a confined space with him, unable to stand the idea of being in a car with him and not breaking into tears.

"What's wrong hun?" her mom asked as she slammed the front door behind her, a groan leaving her lips as she stomped over to the couch and collapsed next to her mom. "I found out my friends have been making plans without me recently cause I apparently work 'too much', it's such bullshit," she said tearfully, her mom reaching forward to rub her back reassuringly, "and I think Quinn has a girlfriend, which like, good for him, but I really like him" she cried as her mom held her.

Her mom softly frowned at her daughter's hurt, "oh honey" she said pulling her into his chest, "have you talked to the girls about how being excluded makes you feel?" "No, but an invitation once in a while would be nice" she shrugged defeatedly.

"As for the Quinn thing, you guys are best friends, girlfriends come and go but you're gonna be a big part of the rest of his life" She looked at her daughter with soft eyes as the tears continued. "I hate this crush I have on him, makes me soft," her frown deepened, "but I really like him, like a lot" she cried harder. "My sweet girl, you'll learn, boys aren't the brightest"

Quinn watched as one of his teammates skated up to her during practice, a smile gracing her lips as Clayton said something funny to her, pointing at her camera and mimicking how she looked hiding behind the camera. His head spun in circles as he recalled every interaction that they had, trying to decipher whether or not he had ever made her smile that widely or blush that deep of a colour. He couldn't make reason of it, but Honey was like some sort of sorcery, one that his brain couldn't let go of.

"You look a little down Quinner," Brady said nudging him with his stick, his gaze following Quinn's to the media girl, "Y/n? I thought you were going out with what's her face?" "I am," his brows furrowed as he looked at his friend, "I just don't want Honey to get hurt, she's too sweet to be toyed around with" he nodded over to the guy who was shamelessly flirting with, her face a bright pink as he fixed the girls scarf.

"Honey?" Quinn rolled his eyes, "Her mom and my mom call her it, it suits her" he shrugged. Brady shook his head with a laugh, unimpressed by the sheer oblivion that Quinn was living in, "You sound like you like her, not whatever her name is." "I don't like honey like that , we are neighbours, really good friends even," Quinn sighed and glared at Brady who held his hands up in surrender.

"Well in that case I'm sure Keller will be a nice guy for her, seeing as she's sweet and all, I'm sure he would change his little douchey ways for her," Brady mused, watching as Quinn's face crumpled up in distaste.

Going to UMich meant a lot of new beginnings, and for Quinn, it meant his last years of freedom before inevitably moving to some other state or even country to start his career. His came and went, meaning that this everlasting freedom was starting to whiter away as the beginning of sophomore year approached, knowing that by the end of this school year, there was a good chance that he would be packing his things and flying all the way to Vancouver.

Honey sat on the edge of his bed, a grin on her face as he messily unpacked his suitcase full of clothes, "you have no reason to be this unorganized Hughes," she joked as he looked up with a dishevelled look on his face. "It's kinda hard to fully concentrate when you're watching me, and sitting so quietly, It's freaking me out," he said as he grabbed a bunch of hangers from his closet. She furrowed her brows as she moved from the bed to sitting right down next to his suitcase, taking a handful of the messily folded shirts and pants and helping by refolding them.

"Do I make you nervous Quinn?" she joked flirtingly but what she didn't expect from him was his hand cupping her chin and capturing her lips in a slow kiss. Quinn was the first to pull away, cheeks flushed and his chest huffing as he caught his breath, "you always make me nervous, Hun," he said so casually before getting back up and hanging up his clothes.

Her lips tingled from his touch, eyes blown with desire as she tried to wrap her head around everything that just happened. She sat stunned for a second before she stood up, “you just kissed me?” “It was an impulse, I’m sorry”

Her hand grabbed a fist full of his t-shirt and pulled him into her, his hand finding her hips as she kissed him again. And for the second time that day, actually in her entire life, Honey felt fireworks erupting around her head as he held her closer and closer to his chest.

Quinn was unable to get enough of the feeling of her skin on his, the small of her back becoming a resting place for his hand as he backed her up to his smallish bed and lays her down on it. He hovered over her as his lips found comfort on the skin of her jaw, then her neck, all the way down to her collarbone as her fingers pulled gently on the hairs at the back of his neck.

“I’m being so serious with you Quinn” she whispered against his lips as he pulled away momentarily to look at her, eyes full of a mixture of love and lust as his thumb ran over the kiss-covered skin of her shoulder, “I want this, you, me, I want us to happen” she whispered as her fingers flattened the messy hair on his head. “I’m all in,” he said truthfully as his fingers played with the messy hair on her face.

And in that second she placed her fragile little heart in his hands, just as she’d been dreaming of doing since she was sixteen years old, watching him from afar through the lens of a camera. And in that present moment, he hovered so close to her that she can feel his breath brush against her skin, so close that his nose is nearly touching hers, their whole worlds colliding.

Where did they come from like I can’t Rember them being referenced in the book (not that it matters😭😭) but also what are liek the best bc for them (house, bsf, personalit, style) cs I wanna know more abt them

oh, actually, i have no idea where they were first mentioned, i never finished the books (i'm reading them now because i got them as a surprise gift, sort of against my will lol), but if i had to guess, probably some extra content book! (i sorta went to google it and emmeline i think was mentioned in the... sixth? fifth book? something like that!)

as for hc, i also don't see a lot of them in the fandom, but i'm happy to share mine!

for emmeline:

i don't know for sure if she has an official hogwarts house, i don't think so, but i personally like her in ravenclaw, she's the seeker from her quidditch team, which often makes other people surprised, because she doesn't seem the type, but she's very athletic. she likes sports as much as she likes charms (it's her favorite class), and she's got a great memory for spells and for history of magic. i think she would be besties with both pandora (she likes the way pandora thinks, and they study together often), emma (they train together for quidditch, and they even dated for a while), and also marlene (emmeline likes marlene's vibe, they are good friends). emmeline has a more "girly" style, painted nails, little hairpins with interesting shapes (gifts from pandora), and make-up are her go-to. she loves styling her hair in cute ways (space buns, pigtails, braids, anything that comes to mind).

for emma:

she's a slytherin girl boss through and through, quidditch team captain (this one i think it's actually a canon fact), a sports enthusiast, she's very focused, very serious, very professional. her goal is to be a pro player, and she will. she's a year older than the marauders, not fan of many classes, but very good in potions and defense against the dark arts, with dada being her favorite class, but minerva being her favorite teacher. she's tough, smart and knows how to pick and win a fight. i like to think that emma's best friend was emmeline, but she had a special bond with regulus, she had him under her wing in quidditch, and he sees her as the greates player he ever saw, they have a cute mentor/student relationship, reggie respects her a lot! (she played as a chaser, btw!). emma, contrary to what people think by her last name, wasn't really vain, at least not with her appearance, she was always messy, with her hair tied, because it was easier for her to fly any time like that, and she always had a heavy coat even when was hotter, because she spent most of her time flying around. her favorite color is purple, and she likes shiny things. i hc her as a black person, very curly hair, and although being in slytherin in a time where most students in the house were purbloods, she's either half-blood or muggleborn

the reader/art dynamic is quite soft and earnest, with him genuinely admiring her and wanting to get to know her, while reader/patrick is a little more intense. his family background is similar to her but they have very different personalities, yet he really understands her and that makes her kind of nervous.

i mean, I guess? Grooming, yes, needs time and much more psychological manipulation than what we see b/t older Daemon and 19 year old Rhaenyra. It requires much more than showing explicit sexual content the one time (bc these two).

Some might point out that he was also giving her gifts as young as 15, which I mean...eh. He wasn't trying to deceive her with that particular act/acts or had ulterior motives which again is what is required in grooming situations. Daemon with the necklace wasn't having some master plan to entrap her or use her. He was just giving a necklace. That moment was more charged with the knowledge that such a thing just wouldn't fly in our own world, so the observation of what's actually happening int this particular scene is put aside for the audience wanting to and applying an immediate boundary by claiming that he was grpoming bc he gave her gifts in this very 1st episode and has thus been grooming her ever since she was what, 7ish if you asked some of them?

At the same time, Daemon has done wrong/manipulated to Rhaenyra both in bk and show when she is older and in her teens when he comes back from the Stepstones--even if we can't solidify or define it was real grooming.

For me, their relationship is one big "grey area" than anything solid and that has the potential to swing dark to light often bc that's simply who they both are. And I don't really fault or resent people for having the impression and final stamp of grooming, since it's such an age gap and she's a teen when they first kiss. (I suspect in the bk they also kissed and that was when she was actually 15ish). *EDIT 11/4/24* AND Daemon was using heer against Viserys at her young age of 15. I just don't think he was out to prey on her exactly.

GRRM already does make it a point to show that 13 yr old Dany getting impregnated, 15 year old Viserrra engaged to a man who could be her father and dying trying to live her last moments as a girl, AND Daemon messing w/Rhaenyra then getting the boot are all obviously bad things about this system--thus a critique of said political environments, but it's still does not mean Larra Rogare, Viserys I, Daemon, and a few others were necessarily bonafide "pedos" like Robert Baratheon, Craster, Walder Frey, or Aegon II bc...

it takes more than the presence of a marriage between 15 yr old and a 23 yr old or a mere relationship of such to rule one of them as an actual hand-rubbing "groomer" (although this particular label on Daemon fits more back in 111...he definitely was using her against Viserys) or a "pedo", bc of how marriages are an arranged affair AND these teens aren't as considered "adults" in ASOIAF--It's not a part of their conscious OR they were forced/socially pressured to marry

The boundaries are looser; again GRRM does criticize that, but he doesn't try to break away from the consequences of that by only writing characters who are closer in age fall in love or become closer or get into sexual relationships.

Example: He still has Dany have the much older and adult Daario as a lover so she can pursue her first self-determined relationship at her 15/16 years of age...which canonically she uses to heal even as she has her doubts about Daario's feelings for her. Perhaps he could have gotten her with one of her khalasar instead, like Jhoqo, but Dany is also still very much a teenager still and Daario was exciting and persistent when she wanted to feel desired. Daario is fine prostrating himself but not totally being her soldier like Jhoqo. Eventually, their relationship will not pan bc Daario's interest in her is still wrapped up more in her being a queen and she herself has the higher goal of freeing slaves, getting back her throne, later the Others, etc.--this doesn't mean that Daario wasn't a critical person in a particular point in her life or that she didn't love him. And all this is consequential to the sort of world she lives in and her particular circumstances.

Such relationships of real history and Westeros just don't jive with what we know can come of them and present so many possible fallbacks and mostly on the younger, and people want to avoid prevent justifying such things to impressionable audiences. I think, though, that people tend to eschew any and all signs of Rhaenyra genuinely finding strength AS GRRM WROTE IT in Daemon and vice versa. And that we simply do not live in their world so people have to be a little smarter and maintain a degree of intellectual separation as they also assess what makes these characters tick/their environment's affects on them as the actual text suggests. Basically, Watsonian vs Doylist readings and to stop making as if what's happening in real modern life will always happen in text. Slow down.

these aren’t all in order and are most definitely not all the thoughts i had bc i have the memory storage of a flea and once an experience is over it is GONE FROM MY HEAD so this is the list of thoughts i struggled to put together when i got home lmao

overall thoughts:

it felt very gimmicky. the stage production felt gimmicky too but in a fun way, this was gimmicky in a way that kinda gave me a touch of the ick

it did not feel to me very much like a cohesive movie. it felt like browsing ig or tiktok and just seeing a hodgepodge of scenes stuck together. which is a cool idea but idk how well it worked in practice and i also don’t know if it was intentional.

this is not the word i’m looking for but in terms of personality they absolutely whitewashed all of the characters and i really don’t care for that. the visuals and the casting were so immaculate but in terms of personality they just made them all taste like unsweetened corn flakes.

i’m biased and didn’t care for most of the tweaks they made to the songs individually BUT i think they blended with each other more cohesively than they do in the stage production so that was cool. and i am able to understand why they made them more pop-esque than theatre-y it’s just not my personal vibe

it all felt very emma watson’s beauty and the beast. like. not deserving of much hate but also just not as good. it has its time and place but i still just. the changes they made were too much for me. that being said i am gonna be the #1 viewer whenever it’s released to streaming platforms was not kidding when i said this is a new favorite movie

the whole like. tiktok and iphone camera thing was an interesting??? idea. i really liked it for cautionary tale but the rest. i think it was a better idea than the way they executed it.

i do not ship this version of cadnis and that to me is unforgivable. they have sooo little chemistry as friends let alone lovers i just can’t stand it. janis doesn’t ever even seem like she wants cady around. it seems so much like they took away what makes janis janis just to turn her into another catalyst for regina and cady’s stories

apex predator was fun!! i honestly like it being janis and damian singing it better than janis and cady i think it works better as a warning and stuff! and also the band in the tree made me laugh so hard. i’m glad cady had them as her tour guides but again that’s all it felt like they were to each other and i miss them being a little posse

AGGGTM TV SHOW SPOILERS AHEAD!

um hi. I just watched agggtm the tv series and I have a bone to pick with everything.

THis is ur warning if u havent watched the show Bye.

Don't get me wrong, ive read the books and i LOVED them but this tv show did not do them justice, it changed sooooo many details that didnt need to be changed and left out a lot of stuff, leaving them with no set up for season 2. Good Girl Bad Blood. I will now rant.

Ravi - No hate to the actor that played Ravi but he sucked. The line delivery on so many things was severly lacking. They also made him miss out on an iconic line "Real men wear floral when trespassing". In the show they made it so Ravi didn't rlly help Pip at all. He was simply there for Pip to tell her theories and information to.

Stanley - Stanley was just non-existent. he just wasnt there. This leaves no set up for season two. Bad choice on behalf of someone

Becca Bell - It may have just been me who thought of Becca as this frail 20 year old who was still grieving. But that wasn't represented in the show. They made Becca straight up find Pip and get angry at her instead of Pip just finding her in a cafe or whatever and asking her a few simple questions.

Ant - Ant was there, but not a part of Pip's friend group, he was just known as this dude that asked Lauren out.

Howie Bowers - First of all, his last name wasnt mentioned in tv show i dont think and it came off as this terrifying dude with a scar, when in the books he was just a drunk dude that was tryna sell drugs and didnt want to get called out by a bunch of teenagers. We never saw his house, Pip never tracked him down, he just happened to be at the Calamity party.

Da silvas - They made him more of a character than he needed to be. It was annoying. Also he did this weird nose grabbing thing eww. They also made Nat da Silva one of Andie's best friends instead of it being Chloe and Emma, it was Nat and Emma.

The cave - This cave shouldn't have existed. The calamity party that Pip was supposed to go to the track down the drug dealer, was in a cave. She didn't pretend to smoke with a guy on a garden wall, she simply asked where he was and he took her to Howie.

THIS NEEDED ITS OWN SECTION

This stupid cave was also where Andie was hidden, it was like a well or something in the cave that Becca dragged Andie into instead of the Farm house

The Farm house - Like Stanley the farmhouse didn't exist. IT WAS A KEY PLOT POINT IN THE FIRST BOOK AND ALSO IS IN THE SECOND YET THEY SAID NOPE AND DIDNT HAVE IT. ajdkbqoEUFBWROGUW

Isla - In the books Isla was this mentally unstable girl Elliot found on the side of the road that he believed was Andie, Isla being unstable then believed she was Andie. Elliot then hid her away in his attic and looked after her. When Pip finds her the girl introduces herself as Andie, Pip then realises it's not. In the stupid TV show, Isla is a poor girl living at a bus stop that Elliot thinks is Andie but quickly realises is not but offers her a place to stay for the night because of her condition, the next morning he confesses to the murder of Sal to her, which he then traps her in the attic. When Pip finds her she says, "I'm not Andie" UGH, it removed that whole plot point.

Barney - Now i was prepared to ball my eyes out at Barney dieing, (I warned u abt spoilers). A few things were different. First Barney was lost at Josh's bday party, not on a walk like in the book. Secondly (spoiler for book three) Barney wasn't drowned. He was discovered dead on the side of the road after being hit by a car which I can't see how they could make that Jason killing him on purpose.

Jason - They didn't make this man more of a suspect. They needed to make him suspisious to set up for a possible season 3. They made Dan da silva a suspect.

Pip showing up at ppls houses - The main way pip interviews ppl is by showing up at their houses, the show eliminated a bunch of these interactions. Pip met Ravi when on a walk with muffins, not his house, Pip met Max while waitressing for a party, (yes at his house but didn't show up on his door step like in the book) Nat da Silva, Pip interviewed her in the locker room after a tennis match when she was half naked.

There are propably so many more big things wrong with this show. It needed more of a budget, they ended up using some of the same shots, like Pip driving the same road, and Young pip. It was very annoying. I had such high hopes for this show to stay close to it's source material becasue Holly was so involved in the filming process, she even has a mini cameo in the hotel episode (look for the guest in a robe). But i was very disappointed so many things were changed. They even missed the whole renactment of murder to prove Sal's innocence. They just left out so much and it's very annoying.

mhm, I've been looking at my older drawings and I really have a thing for dynamics where the girl is cheerful, energetic & loves all and there's a quiet/sweet and slightly more reserved boy who really admires her and loves her being that way - and could risk anything for them, even if that makes them go a bit extreme and cross lines that they usually won't.

(It can go the other way around too with the guy and the girl's roles reversed, it's the girl who's the more cheerful one usually tho)

saiaka, noremma, shuyuka.. There are probably tons more too- All fall into this category pretty well hshfj and I read my older fanworks of them earlier, they're actually really well written in character. If only I were to be a more skilled artist, it could have reached more people out there... the dialogues, narrations, the monologues and the expressions are pretty on the spot in my opinion, I guess that's what I want to do well in the first place, I'll keep getting better bit by bit as I try.

I honestly feel like hikaai will end up falling in this category too. I'm getting strong noremma vibes with this one especially, bc norman does something pretty extreme near the end of tpn and emma strives to save him, while he thinks he's beyond hope and is going to die. He pretends he's okay and lies to put up a strong front but eventually, emma is able to see through his lies, call him out on it and says he's a liar, stops him last minute and we find out he was actually very scared all along and was pushing himself so much for what he thought was for everyone's sake(especially emma and ray's)

while..I'm not entirely satisfied with the ending of the series(it made me really sad back then), they do still survive and live together. Emma wanted to save him and have him live with her and it happens.

Pfft I read that comic real-time too and I sort of stood my ground all the way abt them.. It did pay off! And I ACTUALLY even got some of the dialogues in the final eps RIGHT. I drew something in advance and it came TRUE.

I was suddenly reminded of them this morning and how much I loved them!! Oh and they BOTH lied to each other as well. I feel like you may like one ship if you like the other.

What was I trying to say again? Right... I don't know if hikaru can actually be saved(it's why I've been continuously inquiring what is it that he's actually done because you can't save someone who's gone too far) but the moment the idea of it had been brought up by none other than Ai, I just feel like that's how the story will go. He's suffering and probably carrying a lot and he thinks he's doomed, he doesn't care about what happens to him. But Ai does. And I feel like the most important thing in this comic is what Ai wants and her say in things. So.. I'm actually not so worried now that I think of it. If I'm the writer, I'd let Ai have her way and get what she desires in the end, whether Hikaru thinks he's beyond saving actually matters less than that in terms of the plot. His argument matters less than Ai on this matter lol, Ai's the stronger figure here both within the story and in a meta sense too!

I've read stories like this a lot in fact. The work could break that pattern ofc, but there's a buildup that should certainly be addressed. If Ai loves this guy and wants Aqua and Ruby to save him, it's going to happen one way or the other. It's not something too much to worry about!

I think that's how I started drawing a lot of the ship after that was proposed in fact...the hunch I had must have stemmed from this. I've already been there and I'm here now, let's see how it's gonna go and I really hope Fatal and Mephisto's context will be addressed, come on, it can't be anyone but Hikaru in those songs and that has to be addressed, it's about time. Chaseprice - this i mostly ship in a destructive toxic fling sort of deal. I have an unfinished oneshot that's basically sort of Victoria fucking Chloe more or less due to her proximity to Rachel. Chloe, of course, is fucking Victoria in a weird subconscious way of lashing out at Rachel. Basically I think it would always be about Rachel with them, which is why it wouldn't work as a serious thing but also why its extremely hot.

You and Draken had been dating for only 1 year and you had saw some weird red flags from him in the last months.

He hadn't been hanging out with you the last two months, he was always with Mikey, Mitsuya, Takemichi, or Pah-chin.

The only time you really saw him was when he came home after work. You would always stay up late at night just to welcome him home and cling on him, but he would just say 'not right now Y/n, I'm to tired. Sorry' but was he really sorry?

If he was sorry, he would at least sleep in the same bed at you....right? Well no, he would tell you to go sleep in the bed and he'd be right up—but he always ended up sleeping on the couch.

This happened for weeks— until one day you were walking in Shibuya, and saw it. You saw Draken kissing Emma. He was so happy looking. Hugging her from the side as she smiled at him, holding his hand as they walked through the people who crowded the streets of Shibuya.

Oh, so this is why he wasn't loving, caring, and sweet to you anymore. All the emotions he once shared with you, he was now sharing with her.

You had ran as fast as you could through crowds of people, you ran home. When you got home, you grabbed your bag and shoved your clothes, stuffed animals, braclets, rings, everything except the gifts Draken had gave to you.

You left those, no reason to have gifts from someone who never even loved you probably.

You had left now, Drakens house, and called a taxi.

When the taxi arrived you told them to drive you to your friends house that was sorta far away. Only on the other side of Shibuya, not far, but still far away from Draken.Arriving at your friends house, you had gotten out of the car and handed the taxi driver money before walking up to the door of the house and knocking.

The door opened very shortly after you knocked, your friend looked straight at your figure. "Y/n? Y/N!?" They said in shock of you showing up, since you two barley talk anymore. "Baji— I hate him—oh gosh—no I don't. I love him so much but he doesn't share the same feelings." You said to your bestfriend since birth.

Tears were falling so fast from you eyes, Baji was shocked that someone could cry so hard.

"What-? Come inside Y/n, tell me everything."Baji said and moved out of the way so you could come in.

You stepped inside, Baji shutted the door then put his hand on your back and leaded you to the couch. You sat down and started to burst into tears.

"What happened Y/n, why is a pretty girl like you crying so much?" Baji said making you smile a bit. You looked straight at him in the eyes and wiped your tears from you cheeks.

"He cheated on me" Those 4 words made Bajis face go in disgust, knowing damn well you were talking about Draken.

"With who?" He said. "A girl, a friend, a male, a coworker?"

"Emma"

"Just as I thought, I knew he was using you. He's a bastard he's so fucking lucky Mikey likes him or I'd have his head on a stick by now. I won't kill him but I sure will beat his ass" baji said making you shake your head.

"No—no!"you pleaded "don't hurt him. I wasn't good enough for him! I'm not as pretty as Emma—"

"Shut up Y/n" Baji said making you look at him shocked. "Please you think Emma's pretty? Hell she's just a face full of make-up, she's hella bossy, petty and she's a damn ass pick me. But your so fucking pretty! Your naturally beautiful Y/n! Don't tell yourself you aren't, any man would be lucky to have you as their girlfriend. Drakens just a pain in the ass."Baji had now hated Draken, they use to be bestfriend but now since Baji knew Draken cheated on you, he hates his living guts.

"Fuck him. You deserve better then him." Baji said. "Girl you are PERFECT. AMAZING. OUTSTANDING. BEAUTIFUL. DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!""You think?" You said to Baji and he just smirked."I DONT THINK I KNOW Y/N!"You hugged him and laughed.
