It belonged to Robin, and he had an obligation to reveal it to him, as well as the result of his DNA analysis. But this was not the right time to do it, the next morning Robin and Juliette were going to register Rowan, and a few days later it would be Dustin's wedding. Would it be wise to drop such a bombshell on the family on the eve of these events?

When he returned home, Karen was sleeping so soundly that he didn't dare wake her up, much less to tell her something of the caliber of what he had just found out. It was too much to take in, it would be better to let her rest; he would break the news to her as soon as it dawned, but…

Should he tell her about Sopeha's participation in their little search team? Would that be wise after what Gundrun had told her? Frankly, what choice did he have? None really. Both he and Karen would have to accept Sopeha and trust her, since, apparently, she was the only one who could show them the way to Lunar Lakes.

Unless, of course, Emit made his appearance, but from the looks of it, that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

Happy New Year! It’s 2023 and I’m playing again with my long-time uberhood Valhalla Falls. It was created a long time ago but without any formal intent behind it besides satisfying the personal fascination of being able to have as many of the Sims 2 premades from different neighborhoods all in one. 

At the start of 2022, I started to give the neighborhood a backstory and it was inspired by the Sims 3 ‘Into the Future’ expansion pack where sims can go to visit their descendants. The neighborhood in ts3 is called Oasis Landing and I became fascinated with Emit Relevart. I tried in vain to become friends with him to the point where I could include him into my household, but it never worked.

I didn’t understand at the time that some ts3 NPCs are like some ts2 NPCs (Grimm Reaper) and that adding them to a household can badly corrupt a game. Emit is one of those, as far as I understand. So, I recreated that time traveling cutie for my ts2 uberhood, and actually I’m not disappointed. 

So, Valhalla Falls came into being when Emit and a relative began experimenting with time travel and scrambled the time lines pretty badly, where multiple time lines began to meld; and at the point of converging, Valhalla Falls sprang forth containing within it multiple versions of the residents (dead or alive)  at different stages of their lives. We begin (for the purposes of this blog) with the GOTH household. This is Mortimer’s house, but when he was a boy, living with his mother Cornelia and his father Gunther.

Many (not all) of the sims that appear in my game’s blog as different life stage versions of the premades and their relatives were not created by me, they were included into my custom hood having been downloaded form various creators (Dee Dee Sims, Skell, Maxis Taste, and others) that shared their work on the net. I am really grateful to them for sharing these sims. I have enjoyed them a lot, so all credit got to them. Thanks.

"It says here that they were 'both distinguished members of the Oasis Landing Council' until they had to flee in 2035, the same year of the photo". "Had to flee? For what reason?". "It doesn't specify it here but check this out: Sylvie Girard. Age: 26. DNA, 100% human; Douglas Crane. Age: 29. DNA: 60% human, 40% alien. That explains Robin's DNA, he got it from his father!" "Douglas is alien?" Bjorn asked, approaching to get a better look. "Well, he looks quite human to me". "Yep, so does Robin".

"Look, here's a picture of Rob as a kid, and with his real hair color; he gets that from his father too, I guess. The photo is also from 2035". "Any info about him?" "Not much. Name: Robin Crane. Born: 2032. Age: 3. Current location: Oasis Landing. DNA: Unknown…?" "Well, I'm sure they knew, but whoever wrote this info didn't want to disclose it".

"Who wrote this, anyway?" Bjorn asked. "No idea. But from what I can see, Crane is indeed Robin's last name". "Wasn't it supposed to be?" "Robin told Juliette that 'Crane' was the name of the robot that took care of him when he was a baby, an alias he had been registered with at the Community Center". "Registered? By whom?"

"Emit Relevart, a kind of time-keeper, he took Robin into his care and raised him as if he was his own child; later he was his mentor at the Academy where Robin became a Time Traveler."

I love both premades and OCs but I like to keep them separate, it's just a little quirk I have. For example, I love ts2 premades and giving them headcanons and storylines, but they exist as a separate universe and are not connected with any of my OCs (and I even have a separate blog for them - @curiouscrystals). In ts3 and ts4 where I have my personal OCs, I don't mix them up with premades from these games - probably the only exception was Emit Relevart, who married my sim Emma and they had a daughter, Emmelie. In the new stuff however, I will make him an OC and his name will be Emmett Hyun, as his character is already a bit different from the regular ts3 Emit and he and his family have a whole backstory - the only thing that remains is blue hair and time travelling powers.
