Daniel Aloni, who was rescued from Hamas captivity, shares a harrowing testimony: “You can hardly breathe in the tunnels. Deep underground, there’s barely any air. Every day, the terrorists measured the oxygen levels, aware of the life-threatening danger for both them and us. In one of the tunnels, which the IDF documented, 16 of us were crammed into a tiny room, no larger than 2 meters. My young daughter, Emilia, and I shared a damp, foul-smelling mattress. The floor was so wet that one day she slipped, breaking two of her teeth. Most of us were barefoot, with only 3 or 4 pairs of shoes for our group of 16 children and adults. We had no choice but to walk barefoot in the humid tunnels and on the ground when they took us outside. The conditions were unbearable— without sun light, constant darkness, weeks without electricity, and suffocating humidity that made it feel like mid-August even in October. Our clothes stuck to our bodies, and we could barely wash. The dirt and stench were indescribable.” We must bring back home the remaining 115 hostages who are still suffering in this nightmare. Their release is our collective recovery.

Thai nationals Nutthawaree Munkan and Boonthom Pankhong, former hostages in Gaza who were freed in late November, got married in a private ceremony in Thailand a few days ago, the Ynet news site reported Sunday.
The couple fell in love and began a relationship while working as agricultural laborers on a moshav in southern Israel, but were separated on October 7, when Hamas stormed Israeli border communities in an onslaught that killed 1,200 and saw 253 taken hostage, about 130 of whom still remain in Gaza.
Both Munkan and Pankhong were freed in November after 50 days of captivity as part of a weeklong truce between Israel and Hamas that saw 105 hostages, including 23 Thai workers, released.
After recuperating in Israel, the couple reunited and returned to Thailand to settle in the Khon Kaen province of the country’s northeast.
“It was a small ceremony with only our parents and close relatives. It didn’t suit us to hold a big wedding ceremony,” Munkan told Ynet from Thailand.
She and her husband planned to get married long before their capture, and were working to “save money for a future together.”
Despite the immense hardship they faced as Hamas hostages, the couple intends to return to Israel for financial reasons, but “look for a safer place” rather than returning to somewhere close to the Gaza border.
“We decided together that we would do this in order to have the means to send our children to good schools and save money for when they grow up. I watched the news from Israel and saw missiles fell in the north, but it didn’t change our decision,” said Munkan.

“I can honestly say that we’re very worried about the captives, both Thais and Israelis,” said Munkan, who was the only woman among the Thai nationals who was taken captive. “We really wish for their return soon.”
Munkan confessed that she still constantly thinks back to what she endured as a Hamas hostage.
Tumblr media
“It was like dying,” she said. “It was a miracle that I left Gaza. The current situation is cruel, and simply terrible.”
During her captivity in the Gaza Strip, Nutthawaree formed a friendship with an Israeli woman Danielle Aloni and her 5-year-old daughter Emilia, and reunited with them over video chat while recovering in the hospital.
“For both of us, captivity was like the end of our lives, and we have been free for a long time. I find it hard to understand how the remaining hostages will survive. I can’t stop thinking about them,” she said.

Update post:
The Washington Post reports that Israel has been giving time for a diplomatic solution to be found for the Hezbollah attacks and murder of people in Israel's north since Oct 7, but it has now set the end of January as a deadline, after which it will escalate its activity against the Iran-funded terrorist organization in southern Lebanon. Israel says it did not set a hard deadline, but I can say I heard many Israeli officials interviewed, who were very pessimistic about the chance of finding a diplomatic solution.

The parents of young Israelis murdered at the Nova music festival had a special event today, where they planted trees at the scene of the murder as part of Tu Bishvat, the Jewish holiday of celebrating the birthday of trees, which is due in a couple of days.

Israel has confiscated 15 million dollars in cash found in Hamas members' homes in Gaza. This money was found as Israeli soldiers are going house to house, and terror tunnel to terror tunnel, in search of the hostages. They've now uncovered a booby trapped terror tunnel in which 20 hostages were held over time, with actual cages in it. The presence of the hostages there was corroberated by DNA findings, as well as the finding of drawings made by 5 years old Emilia Aloni, who was released in the hostage deal.

An American Grammy nominated artist of Slovak descent has released a song criticizing the atrocities of Oct 7, and the rise in antisemitism following it. It's called OK (with the main lyrics being "We are not okay") by Five for Fighting. This is being an ally to Jews everywhere, done right.
This is 24 years old Karin Giorno.
Tumblr media
She had a ticket to the Nova music festival, but sold it, because a few days earlier she broke her leg, and her parents asked her not to go to the party. However, friends convinced her to go with them after all, so she bought a new ticket, and went. For 11 days, she was missing. Her parents asked for info, but their number was passed around on Arab social media, and they got flooded by hate calls from people (phoning from all sorts of Arab countries such as Tunisia and Egypt), telling the family that they had Karin, and would rape and murder her. Eventually, Karin's body was identified. She was murdered on Oct 7, at the scene of the music festival. Karin worked at Pizzeria Italianos, which has been making food for Israeli soldiers for free since the start of the war. When Dvir, the owner of the pizzeria chain, got the news of Karin's murder, he was devastated. "She proved to me how capable women were under pressure, she became like family and I admired her," he said. He decided to do something in her memory. Shortly before the massacre, Karin had sent him a recipe for cinnabon. Now, this dish is a regular part of their menu, under the name "Bon Giorno," incorporating Karin's last name.

These heart-wrenching words encapsulate the tremendous pain of Danielle Aloni, mother of 5-year-old Emilia. Both were held in Hamas captivity in Gaza for nearly 2 months. Now, Danielle's only goal is shielding her precious daughter from the clutches of the indescribable trauma she endured at the hands of Hamas terrorists.

The hostages released by Hamas over the past four days as part of a temporary ceasefire with Israel suffered severe weight loss during their captivity in Gaza, according to preliminary health reports.
Israel’s Health Ministry found that initial assessments showed the hostages, seized by Hamas during the Palestinian terror group’s Oct. 7 massacre across southern Israel, lost an average of 17-33 pounds in seven weeks, Hebrew media outlets reported.
News of the initial assessments came as the first testimonies from the released captives and their families revealed the hostages’ diet was minimal, consisting mainly of bread, rice, and in some cases canned food.
The weight loss was especially striking given that many of the hostages who were released and received medical assessments — all women and children — were little kids, including toddlers, and the elderly in their 70s and 80s.
One of the hostages, 84-year-old Elma Avraham, has been hospitalized in serious condition since her release on Sunday. The hospital said on Tuesday that her condition had improved.
The now-former captives have reported that alongside the poor diet and lack of medication, some were forced to sleep on plastic chairs in small rooms guarded by heavily-armed terrorists. Child hostages were also subjected to threats and psychological abuse, according to relatives. In one case, a 12-year-old boy was beaten by Palestinian civilians, his aunt said.
Palestinian terrorists led by Hamas kidnapped over 240 people as hostages and brought them back to Gaza during their Oct. 7 onslaught, in which they murdered more than 1,200 people, mostly civilians. Israel responded with a military campaign of air strikes and ground operations seeking to destroy Hamas in Gaza, the Palestinian enclave ruled by the terror group.
Since the truce between both sides started on Friday, Hamas has released 69 hostages — 50 Israeli women and children, as well as 19 foreigners, mainly Thai farmworkers. In return, Israel has released 150 prisoners from its jails, all women and teenagers, detained for violent crimes or terrorism.
The four-day ceasefire in Gaza, initially set to expire on Monday, has been extended by at least two extra days to allow for the release of more hostages.
Israel has decried clips of Israeli hostages waving goodbye to Hamas terrorists during their release as propaganda, urging the public not to buy the forced act.
Hamas-affiliated media on Monday released a letter supposedly written by Danielle Aloni, an Israeli mom freed from captivity, praising the terrorists for their “extraordinary humanity” towards her 5-year-old daughter, Emilia. Relatives warned the public not to believe the letter, similarly dismissing it as propaganda.
While most reports have focused on the hostages’ physical health, it is unclear how captivity will impact their mental health after experiencing such trauma.

A letter from the Israeli detainee, Danielle Aloni, who was released by the Al-Qassam Brigades, that she left for them: To the soldiers who accompanied me in recent weeks, it seems that we will part tomorrow, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the extraordinary humanity that you showed towards my daughter, Emilia. You were like parents to her, you invited her to your rooms at every opportunity she requested. She confesses to feeling that you are all her friends and not just friends, but real good companions. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the many hours you were like a nanny. Thank you for being so patient with her and showering her with sweets, fruits, and whatever was available even if it wasn't available. Children should not be in captivity, but thanks to you and other good people we have met along the way, my daughter considered herself a queen in Gaza, and in general she admits to feeling like she was the centre of the world. We have not met a person on our long journey, from the soldiers to the leaders, who did not act towards her with kindness, tenderness, and love. I will forever be a prisoner of gratitude towards you, because she did not leave here with psychological trauma. I will mention your kind treatment of us, despite the difficult situation that you were dealing with yourselves and the difficult losses that befell you here in Gaza. If only in this world we could be truly kind. Friends, I wish you all good health and love to you and your family members. Thank you very much.

A touching video has appeared online in which 5-year-old Emilia Aloni, who along with her mother was freed from Hamas captivity on November 24, returns to her kindergarten.
She appears there, accompanied by her grandfather, and then Emily is hugged by the kindergarten teacher.
The girl is then greeted and hugged by other children.
“We missed you,” some say.
“I haven’t seen you for a long time,” says the girl.
“I saw you on TV,” the boy remarks.

The lady in the picture, Mia Schem, was an Israeli hostage taken during a music festival on October 7th.
She was released in November with the 40 or so that were released by Hamas. The New York Post as well as the Times of Israel wrote articles with her testimony that “the only reason the terrorist wouldnt rape me is because his wife was outside the room.” she went on and on describing the mean ways she was looked at and essentially claimed he was “raping her with his eyes” and how the wife “hated she was there".
The articles are positioned to imply that Hamas is committing mass sexual assault, which no other captives have testified to. in fact, some of the captives have had positive (relative) experiences.
https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/israel-hamas-war-news-gaza-palestinians/card/hamas-hostage-explains-why-she-shook-hands-with-captor-5dIbTrFmP6WxBDiZysGb#
Whereas there are very real and upsetting images of the IOF committing sexual harassment in the current conflict, and multiple testimonies of past IOF soldiers committing rape. There is an infamous screencap from a documentary where an elder soldier admits to raping a 16 year old girl.
Most recently, the men of Gaza who have been tirelessly pulling families from the rubble, were stripped and paraded around, with the Israeli army claiming they were Hamas operatives.
Israel’s propaganda machine is stalling because of testimonies like the captives linked above, to where the only threat to this woman is that she was leered at. Comparatively, even if Mia’s testimony was true, thats all they have on Hamas in terms of torture of Israeli common folk or even soldiers.
TLDR; Most accusations are confessions, and Israel has no excuse for its actions.
They are clinging so desperately to their disproven atrocity propaganda.
Keep shaming and exposing these genocidal lairs.
