Alle Wetter-Apps haben für heute zwar nur 18 Grad und trübes Wetter, dafür keinen Regen vorher gesagt. Da hätten sie mal lieber aus dem Fenster gucken sollen…trübe stimmte zwar aber es nieselte munter vor sich hin. Also kamen die Regensachen zum Einsatz. Da der Radweg die ersten Kilometer nur auf der Landstraße entlang führte und es links und rechts nicht viel zu entdecken gab, strampelten wir einfach stur vor uns hin und den Regen weg. Als wir durch Kummerow fuhren, überlegten wir, ob es Ehm Welks Kummerow aus dem gleichnamigen Buch ist. Da der Nieselpriem gerade aufgeh��rt hat, bot sich eine kleine Internet-Recherche förmlich an. Und tatsächlich, es ist das Kummerow in der Nähe des Flüsschen Welse, über den wir gerade fuhren. Allerdings geht man heute davon aus, das Ehm Welk seinen Geburtsort Biesenbrow meint, der heute zur Stadt Angermünde gehört. Na wie auch immer, auf jeden Fall stimmt die Gegend 😃 Da inzwischen die Sonne rausgekommen war, beschlossen wir kurzer Hand einen kleinen Abstecher von der Route zur Schlossruine Landin am Landiner Haussee zu machen. Viel ist nicht mehr übrig, die einstige Pracht aber noch zu erahnen. Schade, dass es so verfällt.

Die Ziegen haben zumindest Spaß:

Zurück auf dem Uckermärkischen Radrundweg ging es weiter durch den Welse - Bruch inzwischen abseits der Straße durch sehr abwechslungsreiche schöne Landschaft. Im Gegenzug wurde der Weg immer sandiger und führte über längere Strecken auf Kopfsteinpflaster entlang. Immerhin wurden wir von hunderten Tagpfauenaugen umschwirrt und angefeuert. Einmal mehr waren wir froh, uns für die E-Bikes entschieden zu haben. Die dicken Reifen wühlten sich auch durch den lockeren Sand und schonten unsere Hinterteile 🤪 Nach 52 km erreichten wir Gramzow und jetzt wurde es endlich Zeit für Kaffee, Kuchen und Eisbecher, sozusagen das volle Programm. Im Hinterland und fernab der Touristenattraktionen gab es mal wieder keine Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Frisch gestärkt radelten wir die letzten 25 km immer noch mit prächtigem Gegenwind entlang des Ober- und Unteruckersees nach Prenzlau.

In Prenzlau angekommen, wollten wir uns noch die Marienkirche angucken. Gesagt, getan…inzwischen war es 16:30 Uhr und eine nette Dame wies uns darauf hin, dass um 17:00 Uhr das wöchentliche kostenlose „Rush Hour Konzert“ stattfindet. Mit dem Hinweis, dass wir mit den kurzen Fahrradsachen nur frieren würden, gingen wir hinein, um wenigstens die Kirche von innen bewundern zu können. Manchmal braucht das Gehirn ja doch ein Weilchen, bis es so schaltet. Vielleicht waren wir auch nur zu lange unterwegs und „betriebsblind“ 😅 Gerade noch rechtzeitig fiel uns ein, dass wir ja unsere kompletten Sachen mit uns spazieren fahren….also fix die warmen Klamotten übergezogen, der netten Dame am Eingang Bescheid gesagt und Orgelkonzert genossen👍

Set to tell the story of notorious Las Vegas enforcer Anthony Spilotro, the feature is heading to the virtual European Film Market in Berlin with The Exchange. Harvey Keitel, Emile Hirsch and Ruby Rose are to star in upcoming gangster drama The Legitimate Wise Guy.

The film — being introduced to buyers at the upcoming virtual 2021 European Film Market by The Exchange — is set to tell the true story of Anthony Spilotro, considered one of the most feared enforcers to come out of the notorious crime syndicate known as the Chicago Outfit (which rose to power in the 1920s under Al Capone). Spilotro ran the outfit's casino skimming operations in Las Vegas, where he would meet a young man dreaming of becoming a Hollywood actor. Seeing an opportunity to expand his operation, he begins to mentor and lure the aspiring actor in his criminal web.

Based on an original screenplay by Nicholas Celozzi (Shattered, Momo: The Sam Giancana Story) and Jim McGrath (Kickboxer: Retaliation), The Legitimate Wise Guy is being directed by Bad Boys writer George Gallo (Midnight Run, The Comeback Trail). Celozzi produces for Monaco Films (Kickboxer reboot) and Richard Salvatore for March on Productions (The Comeback Trail), with Michael Sportelli of Monaco Films and Freddy Braidy (Rescue Dawn, Gospel Hill) serving as executive producers.

Production on the film is schedule to start in Spring 2021.

“We are excited about this ensemble cast, having Harvey, Emile and Ruby makes this exciting story valuable to global distributors,” said Brian O’Shea, CEO of The Exchange, which is handling worldwide sales.
