I have been talking with Mahmoud (@mahmoudfamily1) and he is really worried about his family. There has been continuous attacks on Nuseirat, where his 17 family members (including 10 children and a 2-year-old baby!) are staying. Just a few hours ago, an air strike in Nuseirat has killed 6 children and their parents! A lot of the casualties coming out of Gaza are children, and I'm really worried about these 10 little children at Nuseirat.

Moreover, their tent has just been bombed, destroying everything they have and leaving these 17 people with nowhere to sleep. Basic necessities are 300% more expensive than usual. With such astronomical price and little funds, they do not have most daily necessities. How are they going to cope with the coming winter? With no shelter to shield them from the rapidly dropping temperature and the heavy rain, with no clothes to keep them warm, and with little food and clean water too!

"Noor… A Childhood Stolen by Suffering"

Noor, my youngest daughter, is only one year and three months old. This age should be filled with laughter, play, and the comforting smell of warm food nourishing her tiny body. But Noor was born into a harsh world, a world that has robbed her of even the simplest rights as a child.

Noor suffers from malnutrition. Her tiny body doesn’t receive enough food to grow properly. Every time I see her try to reach for a piece of bread, I feel a deep pain in my heart because she doesn’t know that this is all I can offer her. Her face is pale, and her small eyes carry a silent question that I can’t answer: “Why am I hungry, Daddy?”

When Noor began to walk, she found only a cold, hard floor in the classroom we live in. There are no soft rugs under her feet, no toys to encourage her. Every fall she takes is a fall into our harsh reality, a reality surrounded by pain.

Noor’s nights are no better. She cries often from the cold, and I hold her close, trying to warm her with my body. I don’t know how to explain why there are no warm blankets or a comfortable bed. Sometimes she falls asleep, and other times she stays awake with me, looking into the darkness, dreaming of a better tomorrow.

Noor did nothing wrong, yet she bears the weight of suffering. She bears the cost of a war she did not choose, displacement she did not understand, and poverty she had no control over. She is just a child who wants to eat, play, and feel safe.

Every day I watch her grow a little, and it fills me with helplessness. I fear that her future will only continue this pain, that she will be denied the life she deserves just as she has been denied her childhood. But I believe there is still hope, that there are hearts willing to see Noor as their own.

Palestinians on Tumblr are tired. Not only is struggling to survive in Gaza exhausting, not only do they have to face frequent bombings and attacks, but they also have to deal with harassments from zionists and racists when they raise the funds to save their family on Tumblr.

Hashem (@hashembadr) in particular has been shadowbanned again after zionists harassed him on his new account. It is his 9th account and he has only created it 3 days ago, and he hadn't even used it to message people or send asks!

Imagine how Hashem must feel! He is responsible for 26 people, including 13 children. His young niece is injured and in need of surgery, yet they do not have the money to afford it and he has to watch her suffer in pain. There are bombs falling all around him, attacks have been relentless. And here on Tumblr, as he is trying to fundraise so that his family may survive, zionists and racists keep attacking him, telling him that he and his family should die just because they are palestinians!

They are just trying to survive!! That really shouldn't be too much to ask for!! Hashem is losing hope after seeing his account being shadowbanned again, after seeing these racists comments, after seeing people block him again and again because they find him annoying for trying to survive and save his family! My name is Sahar. A marketer shopping from Gaza, athe dreams she worked for but found herself losing the city she’s living in and losing any hope of a better future with it . And after a whole 4 years of studying and internship, the war had another idea.

I have 4 children: Hala the oldest, Rital, Odi, and Talin. We had a house full of love, dreams, and hopes that we strive to achieve one by one, but the war came and destroyed everything. We strive to travel outside Gaza to preserve our lives and obtain safety.

. In 15th of January 2024 my son Odai has An injury in his leg byShooting from a quadcopter aircraft in a shelter belonging to the UN Relief Agency

This loss circle didn’t end here, cause after more than 5 times of being displaced and having to leave our house escaping from rockets and death, we returned to our house and found it almost wiped off, more than half if it was destroyed and became an unlivable place leaving us not only with tired hearts but also without a place to stay in

Our Home

We are suffering in the UNRWA shelter center from overcrowding, the spread of diseases, pollution, and the difficulty of obtaining water and entering the bathroom due to the large number present in the place. It has been a year since this suffering.

Look what this horrible war has done to us. It has turned our lives upside down. It is hard for your mind to imagine. You were living in a villa with all your necessities and luxury items available until the war transferred you to live in a school for more than 13 months. We saw death 100 times a minute. I have attached pictures of the suffering of living in the school.

The situation after almost 13 months of this genocide is that the borders of Gaza are still unfortunately closed and no one can get out of it, of course unless you pay the most money to save your life and cross the Rafah crossing to reach Egypt, as crossing the Rafah crossing costs about $25,00 to $5,000 per person, and as a family of 9, the amount we have to pay just to get to Egypt seems impossible to bear.

So, this is how the money will be spent:

* Paying about $5,000 for each member of my family of 9 to cross the Rafah crossing and safely reach Egypt

* About $5,000 covers the GoFundMe transaction fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction)

* The rest of the money will be for housing, food, etc. for a period of time in Egypt

Asking for your help is the only way to save my family’s life and future, and your help may become our hope when hope is far from us under these circumstances, every dollar you can help with may save a life, bring hope to a tired heart and save a young future.

Please don't read this as a tragedy, I am here to ask you to prevent further tragedy and help us start our lives over.
