Honestly I'm so sick of my classmates assuming being autistic affects you physically. I mean yes I do have somewhat poor motor skills at times but there's a boy who has a deformity (he's really nice and won gold in swimming bless him) in my year and many students think he's autistic just because of his deformity. Like no. That's not how it works. We even had a speaker come in and explain that and they still refuse to let go of their ableism.

I think it’s due to ignorance when it comes to disabilities. No matter how many different disabilities there are, ableists are gonna assume we’re all the same

Someone has come into my inbox,, in the year 2019,, and ACTUALLY ASKED ME TO TALK IN DEPTH ABOUT NILEMM?? PINCH ME I MUST BE DREAMING

I’ll be honest idk exactly how to do imagines or if there’s a specific way to do it?? so i’m just gonna rant and sob about how much i love them

okay so FIRST of all I think their dynamic is Just Swell. Absolutely Fantastic. They each bring something very different to the table that really completes the other, you know? 

In his support with Azura, Niles says “It left me with a low tolerance for people who lack compassion. I cannot stand shallow people!” and like WHO’S MORE COMPASSIONATE THAN EMM?? Chrom says in Chapter 6 that Emm "represents the best of the halidom—the part most worth protecting.” and it’s true!! She’s so warm and loving and forgiving and gentle and just asd;fjksdjf he really needs someone like that in his life!! Especially after all the shit he’s been through!  

On the other hand, with Emm, we have less canon evidence, but what we do know is that Emm always puts others before her, and is usually very driven and work focused. She just never takes time to herself!! Niles helps her loosen up and actively encourages her to relax and take time to herself. Also, imo, because of the weight of the crown and Emm’s incredibly selfless tendencies, even if she’s surrounded by people she loves and who are willing to help her, she’s really just felt... alone. As I once said in a previous ask about Emmeryn, “Emmeryn sacrificed herself long before she walked off that cliff in Plegia.” She’s always given her all for Ylisse, and she knows she’s not alone, but at the same time she is because she doesn’t share her struggle because she doesn’t want anyone to worry. Chrom and Lissa know that it’s been hard for, but do they know how hard? How much has she sheltered them from? Niles knows what it’s like to be alone and feel like you’ve only got yourself to rely on in the end, and I think he’d be the one who’s able to see really see what she’s going through, even if she doesn’t say anything, and he’d help her through it.

They are just,, SO GOOD WITH EACH OTHER,, even though i started shipping them as a joke in one of the fics i’m working on and now they’re my otp daskfjl;sadfjsdjf and now here’s THE CUTE AND SWEET BECAUSE IT’S VERY IMPORTANT (also, a lot of these will probably apply to an au i’m currently writing with them, in which Niles ends up in the world of awakening and somehow manages to get with the exalt of ylisse a;dhf;aksdjf) 

- Something they would definitely do a lot is stargazing. They’d just snuggle together, looking at the stars, all cozy and warm and happy and a;kdf;dsjffjdfsj

- Emm absolutely loves sunflowers, and Niles always loves giving them to her (in fact, in my awakening au he gets a sunflower garden planted for her at one point in the ylissean royal gardens and HMM IT’S SO CUTE AND SWEET)

- okay so we all know that Niles gets nightmares right? Emm would be THE BEST at helping him calm down and go back to sleep, just holding him and kissing him and telling him over and over that it’s okay, he’s safe now, she’s here for him and she’s not going to let him go until he’s finally able to relax and go back to sleep. 

- Niles being an absolute flirt and super affectionate ALL THE TIME and she just takes it all in stride like “yes i’ve been walking around holding my husband’s hand for almost three hours now what of it??”

- Emm having the absolute worst bedhead and being super slow to wake up most mornings (even though she does get up early) and Niles just thinks it’s absolutely adorable

I could go on for HOURS about these two but I’ll refrain because otherwise this will get far too long a;kfj;sldjf i have a discord server dedicated to all of my fanfic writing but there’s a whole category with these two that is WAY TOO BIG with way too much rambling in it so that’s a testament to how much i will ramble if given the opportunity thank you so much for this ask though~! Alright so yesterday when I posted "all cats are autistic", @elliedragon007 mentioned the book "all cats have asperger syndrome" so I checked it out and guess what! It's absolutely adorable!!!

Please give it a read its so heartwarming and explains the common traits of autistic people and that autistic kids aren't broken, just a bit different from other kids but needs an equal amount of support!

I found a pdf but please support the author if you can! They wrote "all birds have anxiety" and "all dogs have adhd" which I'm sure are just as wonderful as this one :^)!!!!

Kinda late but I am one of the pickiest eaters ever (kinda comes with the sensory issues) and I cannot eat a single vegetable except potatoes (ironic since I'm Irish) I do like apples, bananas and pineapples though, so I'm not entirely hopeless when it comes to health. Vegetables unfortunately are icky, I can't stand even smelling or touching them. Any sweet tasting fruit recommendations, Mrs. Rio Saias?

★Siegbert and Julia never saw each other before in the castle of Askr, they were always doing something else or placed in different teams

★Until they were placed in the same team for arena offense

★Siegbert thought Julia was cute, before witnessing her single-handedly destroy dragon teams

★And seeing this apparently innocent, shy, gal completely ravage opponents like that, he was bound to get at least a small crush

★(but it actually was a MASSIVE crush)

★Julia thought that Siegbert was charming, since he always pulled her away from melee attacks and tanked them himself

★He didn't realize he had a crush on her until two days later, while talking with Shiro about this weird chest ache he had when he was near her. Shiro's simple answer was "Dude, you're head over heels for her"

★Siegbert fell oddly quiet. The next 24 hours were spent staring into the void and trying to find the meaning of life

★After this realization, he was super awkward around Julia, he stammered a lot and almost tripped at least thrice... in a week

★In battle tho? He's the most attentive person ever. He always keeps an eye on her, and if someone hurts her, even by accident, they won't ever know what hit 'em. It was actually our shy boi in full murder mode. Sometimes he scares himself

★In the meantime, Julia is awestruck by Siegbert, she admires his strenght and care for his friends, even if she doesn't understand why he is especially protective of her (Dense Julia makes an appeareance)

★When Siegbert found the courage to confess, he was so red his aunt Sakura was worried he had a fever

★He went with a bouqet and all, courtesy of the advice from Xander, and Julia reddened as much as him

★They aren't into public affection, so Shiro, Xander and Seliph didn't notice anything until they saw them walk by and holding hands

★They are both big cuddlers, so in their free time they're either reading a book together in the library or napping in one of their rooms

★Julia actually snores a bit, Siegbert finds it endearing

★Sometimes they ride together in battle on his horse, completely smoking everyone. Fear the serene couple (Sigurd and Deirdre took a leaf out of their book)
