ALRIGHT HERE WE GO! Basically my take boils down to that I think Warren is so obviously much more effective than Sanders is. I agree with a lot of what Sanders stands for, but I'm just not confident that if he were elected president he would be able to protect those beliefs in the same way that Warren would. Basically I was doing some research on the primary candidates earlier and I ran across this site, govtrack.us, that puts out annual “report cards” giving qualitative metrics on legislators’ effectiveness in passing bills/laws, getting bipartisan support, etc. Warren consistently ranked in the top percentile of democratic senators in terms of how many bills she wrote/passed/etc and how much support she got, whereas Sanders consistently ranked in the bottom percentile. He may have good ideas, but can he get them done? His senate record doesn’t give me any confidence. They both have a progressive platform that I agree with, but Warren Has a Freaking Plan For That, she knows exactly what she’s doing whereas all I’ve gotten from Sanders are just vague ideas. Anywho I just strongly encourage you to go look at these report cards and see what you think. Ok I’m sorry for inflicting this on everyone thanks for coming to my ted talk
