Could you pls write a James Norrington x Swann!reader where the reader is Elizabeth’s older sister who loves/fancies James Norrington but he doesn’t know that she loves him so the reader pretends to pass out but he catches her and carries her to her bedroom and waits for her to wake up and the he finally tells her that he loves her too and they get married at the end. (You can add what you like) thank you 😊 :)
Hello dear💖, thanks for your request.
James Norrington x Swann reader⚔🦢
A reconsidered proposal👰
On this day was the ceremonial promotion of James Norrington, a man who served in the naval army for a long time. He served the Swann family. James was always by their side, he viewed us like family although—there was but one inharmonious part—the day the commodore had planned to propose to Elizabeth Swann. The commodore had always been close to Elizabeth although, before Elizabeth was born there was another, a girl who was bright and bold who had grown up with Norrington since they were younger. Y/n Swann. A fine woman who protected her sister from the beginning since the tragedy of their mother’s passing. The two sisters were opposites: one fantasying about pirates and the other fantasying of marriage. Y/n sided with her father and the commodore; she was set to be a lady. Though, since y/n was younger she had known the commodore more than Elizabeth. She had been their during his downfalls, worries and woes while spending her time making him fall high in laughter and joy. The commodore protected the family with honour and respect, the soon to be admiral will choose a betrothal to a fine woman.
Governor Swann had bid Elizabeth farewell to accept the commodores proposal. He turned to y/n wearing a gown with a fine layer of skirtings. She placed her hands together in a ladylike manner approaching her father. “Tis be quite a tremendous day y/n, Elizabeth will accept the commodores proposal and she will wed” Y/n’s father smiled.
“Indeed, though I can’t help but feel—rather—” y/n muttered although her father ended the sentence for her. “Happy for your sister’s occasion” he concluded.
The truth is, y/n didn’t exactly feel tremendous joy for her sister. It was hard to explain but, she had hoped the commodore would betroth her to his hand in marriage.
The Governor accompanied his daughter inside the manor, her heels clicked as she headed up the stairs into her bedroom. Only, at the door there was a knock. The servant opened the door to greet a commoner, he was smaller in height and his clothes weren’t of riches. His brown hair was tied back as his eyes were soft in expression. “Have you seen Elizabeth” the man asked. It was Will, the blacksmith. “No, Miss Swann had just left Sir, I suggest you leave your request with Governor Swann if you insist to visit her” the servant informed Will.
Y/n called out to Will “Blacksmith, I assume your work is going well?”.
Will turned his head up the stairs to see a woman in a dashing, fine silk gown. “Miss y/n, yes, indeed, I thought I would’ve caught Mrs Swann just in time”.
“Please Will, you know how many times Elizabeth told you to call her by her first name” y/n smiled kindly.
“Uh, yes but, perhaps there is a way you can pass my regards to Elizabeth for me” Will requested. “Certainly, Sir William” y/n politely curtsied.
Will was more acquainted with Elizabeth then y/n, the two had known each other since childhood. The blacksmiths past is rather a mystery, no one knew who or where he came from. The boy was caught adrift in a sea wreckage, he was taken in by a rather older gent who knew about the works of swords. Will had been accustomed to the family, every day he would pass by just to see Elizabeth. Their meetings were always rather short but, y/n knew, the blacksmith had feelings for her sister, even more, her sister had grown closer to the blacksmith. The commodore didn’t know, Liz always dismissed it. Will was a rather humble and kind gent, more than any other man y/n knew.
“I shall inform her once I see her, Sir William” y/n promised.
In the distance a carriage pulled up rather earlier than expected, out of the entry door, Elizabeth and the commodore climbed out. Y/n quickly rushed down the stairs, grabbing her skirtings to see what happened. “Elizabeth, dear God, what happened”. Elizabeth was dripping with water as her hair was soaking, the commodore accompanied her inside. “Get her warmed up and keep an eye on her” the commodore ordered the maid. “Yes sir” the maid helped Elizabeth to warm her up in any way she could. “Commodore, what happened, is Elizabeth alright” the Governor rushed out to find his daughter soaking wet.
“Indeed, we’ve just encountered a scoundrel, a pirate” the commodore informed y/n’s father.
“A pirate?” he questioned.
“Yes Sir, a no-good buccaneer of the seas, we gave chase and the pirate shall be set to hang” the commodore said proudly.
A pirate? A pirate? here in port royal? Oh no this is terrible news, if it weren’t for the navy, who knew what kinds of terrible things would’ve happened to poor Elizabeth. “I-I thank you commodore for saving my dear sister” y/n shyly showed her gratitude. “Fret not lady y/n, your sister is safe, we shall purge that pirate for his no-good deeds” the commodore stated.
Y/n fancied him, she always has, it was only a matter of time before she could tell him. “Commodore, I-“ y/n stuttered. James turned with curiosity, his face, holding a stern expression.
“I, I, I” y/n began to close her eyes as her body collapsed. James coming into action took y/n in his arms. “Y/n” the Governor had noticed his eldest daughter had fainted. The commodore informed her father that he will bring her up to her bedroom, even if it was inappropriate, he felt the need to protect the woman who had been there for him, for all those years. The commodore carried the woman’s body up the stairs into what looked like a white, elegant room. James placed y/n in her bed, he felt her forehead to make sure she wasn’t burning up whilst watching her chest move up and down. Now, it might’ve been selfish but, y/n hadn’t intended to use this action, rather, it was to gain the commodores attention. The bed was soft; the sheets made of cotton and silk; feathers filled the pillow. The commodore intently watched as y/n flickered her eyes open.
“Commodore, oh, forgive me” y/n muttered out.
“Lady y/n don’t burden your forgiveness on something you had no control of doing” James furrowed his brows. “I’m just glad your well” he addressed.
Y/n grabbed his hand, she wanted to tell him, all these years of growing together, spending time, and enjoying each other’s company. The commodore had always been protective of her and her sister. “I want to inform you of something—you see my mind was set on Elizabeth’s betrothal that, that I never knew” he paused.
“I had been paying my affections toward the wrong person” he looked into y/n’s eyes.
“Elizabeth is a fine woman but” James smiled. “You are, such a remarkable lady”.
“I must re-consider my proposal; would you wed me” James asked.
Y/n smiled as her eyes were full of happiness “Oh, James of course I will”.
Norrington smiled with genuine emotion, something he had only done when around her family. Y/n leaned forward from her bed, not caring if her hair was messy from the pillow. She leaned forward and embraced James in a kiss. He was caught off guard but leaned into it.
The commodore had potentially nearly made a mistake that caused him misery, he was engaged to y/n, a woman who had known him far longer. He had informed Governor Swann that his proposal was to be reconsidered, Mr Swann was rather hesitant thinking Elizabeth would be heart broken. However, she granted her blessings as she had fancied William.
On the middle hour, on the day of June, the commodore had awaited at the arch as many gathered. Y/n had said her vows as James spoke his and the rest you can say was history.
On this day, Y/n Swann was known as Y/n Norrington. The Commodores wife.
anyways that's all I have for now:

#44. two roads & elizabeth swann and weatherby swann please?
44. two roads
No single piece of Penny Swann’s wardrobe arrived in Port Royal whole—Weatherby could not bear to leave her things in England, yet he knew they would not survive the humidity and insects long enough for Elizabeth to grow into them. The fine cloth has been repurposed for other garments in her life, and in this way, each bit of stitching and darning becomes an act of family history.
Pieces of Penny’s finest survive in Elizabeth’s wedding gown, the lace accenting the long neck and square shoulders she had also inherited from her mother. This is not the marriage he had imagined for Elizabeth—the differences between her two main suitors could not have been starker—but she has always walked her own path, and Weatherby (and Penny, he knows in his heart) is glad to set her along it.
The sky darkens, threatening storms, but the mood in the governor’s manor has never been more cheerful this early in the morning. Estrella lifts the train of Elizabeth’s gown so it does not drag in the mud, and Weatherby offers his arm to help her into the horse-drawn brougham. Once seated, jostling towards the churchyard, he smiles and whispers, “You look so beautiful,” around the thickness of incoming tears.
Elizabeth reaches across the cabin to grasp his hand, beaming.

Top 5...................?
Cookies?
Redheads (Dyed is acceptable)?
Costumes from tv or movies?
COSTUMES FROM MOVIES LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO
i am gonna keep it just to movies or i'll be sitting here all day just trying to decide, this is something i am EXTREMELY passionate about (sorry)
Edith's Nightdress (Crimson Peak - Kate Hawley):
I'm a HUGE fan of all of the costumes in crimson peak, especially how edith and lucille's costumes run with the butterfly/moth motif in the movie, but my absolute favourite is edith's nightgown (sorry yellow dress, you were a close second)
as with all of edith's dresses, THE SLEEVES!! THE DETAIL!! THE DRAPE OF THE FABRIC!!! the amount of hours that must have gone into each of these costumes jut blows my mind. like jsut look closely at the stitching holding all of the pleating in place!!! the size of the buttons!! it's just utterly beautiful
but the nightdress just makes her look so young, and so fragile, especially when she's wearing the dressing gown as well she's just swamped in fabric.
and then the visual storytelling of the red of the clay and the blood creeping up from the hem when she's running around at the end, it's BEAUTIFUL.
Elizabeth Swann's 'Pirate King' outfit (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - Penny Rose)
if i had to name one film that got me interested in how films were made more than any other it would be at world's end, i watched the behind the scenes features HUNDREDS of times. every single costume told a story, and the amount of thought gone into aging and weathering them just blew me away. it was so hard to pick just one costume, even just one of elizabeth's costumes (sorry black pearl nightgown) but honestly i wish i had a deeper reason for picking this one specifically but mostly i just think she looks cool as hell during the final battle.
and also i just will forever be heart eyes over the goldwork
Evelyn's wedding gown (The Fall - Eiko Ishioka)
Eiko Ishioka is a genius, the fall is quite honestly a visual masterpiece, and the costumes are a HUGE part of that. if you haven't seen it, half of the film is a little girl being told a story, and how she's picturing it in her imagination.
Because of this each costume is a totally unique look, and the fact that they're all so different to each other makes them pop even more. Everything is in bold shapes and colours, with distinct silhouettes, but the details are just as beautiful.
The costume I've actually picked is a evelyn's wedding gown, just because i think of all of them it's (by a narrow margin) the most visually striking. mostly due to that headpiece.
It's a moment in the film where all eyes are supposed to be focussed on evelyn (to distract from other things going on), so if they were going to put her in a showstopping costume this was the moment.
It's obviouslly just stunning all round, and such a genuinely interesting design, like no one else could have EVER come up with this other than eiko ishioka. I don't know how else to explain that other than go and look at the costumes for the fall (2006) and bram stoker's dracula (1992) next to each other and you'll get what i mean.
but it's the little details as well, that seem so unneccesary to the overall look but are still beautiful, like the change in bead on the end of the veil, the trim around the neck and on the headpiece, the slight pattern on the fabric. and then there's just the overall construction of it, which is just flawless!!
Truly i would sell my soul to see the design process behind any single costume in this film.
Queen Ravenna's 'Beetle' dress (Snow White and the Huntsman - Colleen Atwood)
i'm not going to try to defend it, this was a bad movie, HOWEVER the costumes were absolutely stunning, and ESPECIALLY the costumes they gave to charlize theron.
And despite being in the film for only a moment i will never ever be able to stop thinking about this dress.
the structured shoulders!! the colours!! the trailing layers!! the contrasting textures!! the way they've shredded the fabric to give it EVEN MORE texture!! and of course, most importantly, the hundreds of individually attached beetle shells
i just think it's a work of art
Aragorn's 'Strider' outfit (The Fellowship of the Ring - Ngila Dickson):
So i've always adored the lord of the rings costuming, it all feels very believable and cohesive as a world, whilst also having distinct looks for each race/location, and has set a bit of a blueprint that not a lot of high fantasy has strayed very far from since (which is a shame, but also speaks to how effective it is).
However my absolute favourite costume is Aragorn's first costume, or rather the version of this costume that he arrives at by the end of the Fellowship of the Ring. It's both an incredibly practical costume, whilst also having hints that Aragorn is more than just some random ranger. My favourite of which being the beautiful smocking detail on the sleeves.
I also am a HUGE fan of the fact that nothing on his costume is actually black - it's greens and blues and browns, and then it's all beautifully aged over the top of that, and there are parts that are ripped and sewn back together, it looks like something actually lived in (cue aragorn never showers joke). i just think it does a brilliant job of telling aragorns story visually. and of course it's kind of ""completed"" when he adds boromir's bracers to it 😭
#i am so sorry for this full on essay sdhfgjhkjglk#-special interest: activated-#long post#once again i am sorry#costume design#asks

MY CHARACTERS - ADULT FAME DR
REMINDER! I haven’t shifted yet, so all these is just my imagination 🤍
masterlist - main mastelist
As an actress, I've had the privilege of breathing life into a multitude of incredible roles, each one a unique canvas upon which I've painted a diverse spectrum of characters. Each role has been a mesmerizing chapter in my career, a testament to the limitless possibilities that the world of acting has to offer.
ELIZABETH SWANN - PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN
four films (2010-2014)
Elizabeth Swann is a captivating character from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film franchise. Portrayed by me, Elizabeth is a spirited, intelligent, and determined young woman. She is known for her striking beauty, with long, flowing chestnut hair and striking green eyes.
Elizabeth is the epitome of courage and resilience. Throughout the series, she evolves from a prim and proper governor's daughter into a fierce and resourceful pirate. Her transformation is marked by her unwavering loyalty to her friends, including the enigmatic Captain Jack Sparrow and the honorable Will Turner.
However, it's important to note that Elizabeth Swann appears in only four of the five films in the series. This is because the I decided to take a break after four straight years of playing the same role. Despite my absence in one installment, Elizabeth's character remains a beloved and iconic figure in this series.
As a character, Elizabeth Swann embodies the spirit of adventure and a desire for freedom, often challenging societal norms and expectations. Her presence on screen is a testament to the strength and complexity of female characters in the realm of cinematic storytelling. Elizabeth Swann's journey in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series has left a lasting impact on audiences, making her a beloved and iconic figure in the world of film.
BELLE - BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
(2017)
Belle, the enchanting protagonist of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast." is a character that has captured the hearts of audiences for generations. Portrayed in the live-action adaptation by me, Belle is a character of beauty, intelligence, and unwavering courage.
With her distinctive hazel eyes and a crown of chestnut hair, Belle exudes a timeless and natural beauty. Her iconic golden gown and matching accessories only enhance her charm.
But Belle is not just a pretty face. She's known for her voracious love of reading and her curiosity, often seen with her nose in a book. Her desire for knowledge and adventure sets her apart from her provincial life and leads her to the enigmatic Beast's enchanted castle.
What truly makes Belle special is her spirit. She's courageous, compassionate, and willing to look beyond appearances to discover the kindness and humanity within. Her journey from a small village to an enchanted castle, marked by her love for the Beast, is a tale of inner beauty, strength, and the transformative power of love. Belle remains a beloved and enduring symbol of intelligence, kindness, and the timeless message that beauty is found within.
JO MARCH - LITTLE WOMEN
(2018)
Jo March, a central character in Louisa May Alcott's classic novel "Little Women," is a literary icon known for her strong-willed, independent, and fiercely creative nature. Jo is a character who transcends the pages of her story and remains an enduring symbol of determination, ambition, and the pursuit of one's dreams.
With her fiery auburn hair and a boundless spirit, Jo embodies the essence of the independent woman of her time. She is a talented writer and storyteller, channeling her experiences and imagination into her works. Her passion for literature is evident in every word she writes.
Jo's journey in "Little Women" is a tale of her desire for independence, self-expression, and the pursuit of a literary career. Her character shatters societal expectations for women of her era and challenges the conventions of her time. Jo's story is a timeless reminder of the power of resilience and the importance of pursuing one's ambitions, making her an inspirational figure for generations of readers and audiences.
MARTA CABRERA - KNIVES OUT
(2019)
Marta Cabrera, portrayed by myself in the film "Knives Out," is a character with a strong moral compass, a compassionate heart, and an extraordinary ability to speak the truth. Marta is not only an integral part of the film's intricate plot but also a captivating and memorable character in her own right.
Marta's character is characterized by her humble, down-to-earth appearance and a warm, empathetic demeanor. Her simple, unpretentious attire reflects her nature as a caregiver, always putting the well-being of others first. Her expressive brown eyes and genuine smile reveal the depths of her character.
What truly sets Marta apart is her condition of involuntary regurgitative reaction to dishonesty. This condition serves as a central plot point and a clever narrative device, emphasizing her honesty and making her a key player in solving the mystery.
Marta's character is a reflection of unwavering integrity and a commitment to doing what is right, even when faced with deceit and duplicity. Her journey in "Knives Out" is a testament to the enduring power of truth and goodness in the face of deceit and duplicity, making her a character that resonates with audiences long after the credits roll.
ROSSANA MITCHELL - TOP GUN MAVERICK
(2022)
Rossana Mitchell, the daughter of the legendary Pete Mitchell, known as Maverick, is a character who embodies the same unwavering bravery and stubborn determination as her father.
Following in his footsteps, she becomes a pilot in the army and is as passionate about flying as Maverick himself.
Rossana's love for aviation runs deep, and it's a part of her identity. Her courage and resilience shine through in the cockpit, just like her father. She's not one to back down from a challenge, and she thrives in high-pressure situations, carrying on the Maverick legacy.
But it's not all about flying for Rossana. In the midst of her thrilling aerial adventures, she finds herself falling in love with Rooster, a connection that adds depth and complexity to her character. Her journey is a compelling mix of familial legacy, personal passion, and the twists and turns of love in the high-stakes world of military aviation. Rossana Mitchell is a character with an indomitable spirit, soaring through the skies and capturing hearts along the way.
EVELYN - THE SEVEN HUSBANDS OF EVELYN HUGO
(2023)
Evelyn Hugo, the enigmatic and alluring protagonist of the novel "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" by Taylor Jenkins Reid, is a character of captivating complexity and depth. Her life story is an extraordinary journey through the glitz and glamour of Hollywood's golden age, intertwined with profound personal experiences.
Evelyn is portrayed as an icon of beauty and allure, with her striking looks and timeless elegance. Her character embodies the essence of old Hollywood glamour, with a magnetism that captures the attention of everyone around her.
Beyond her captivating exterior, Evelyn is a woman of immense determination, resilience, and ambition. Her life story, filled with secrets and sacrifices, is a testament to her fierce independence and her unyielding pursuit of success in an industry known for its challenges.
What makes Evelyn Hugo truly fascinating is her introspective and self-aware nature. Her journey, as she recounts her life to a young journalist, is marked by deep introspection and a desire to leave a legacy that transcends her film career.
Evelyn Hugo is a character who defies categorization, a woman of complexity and contradictions who navigates the intricacies of love, fame, and personal identity. Her story is a captivating exploration of the human experience, leaving an indelible mark on both the novel and its readers.

May I request 8 or 36 (whichever you prefer) for Elizabeth and Weatherby Swann for the five sentence drabbles? Thank you!
!!! I'm sorry this isn't happier, but I hope it still fits the bill!
Elizabeth had always known the memory of her mother was precious, by taking the measure of care her father took with it: the portrait of her kept in his private study and the way he addressed it, when he thought himself alone; the literary and written jetsam of her life, tucked away in odd shelves and corners; the jewels, sturdily locked up, that she had left behind for Elizabeth to wear, when she inevitable made a sparkling match of her own. It was only when Elizabeth was older that she had the cold, not wholly unfair thought that her father, who loved her dearly, sometimes saw her as precious in the same way – that she might, even with care, slip away where she could not be followed.
On their return to Port Royal from Isla de Muerta, after Elizabeth had sat numbly in the bath until all traces of the last weeks had been scrubbed from her and pronounced in the pink of health, she wrapped herself in her wrapping gown and padded into the study. Her mother, slight and dreamy-eyed, held a discourse on forestry so loosely it might at any moment have fallen from her hands into the lustrous silk of her skirts. Was it foolish to wonder that if Portia Swann had survived – might she have offered her counsel – solace – anything – that would, as easily as Jack Sparrow’s compass, show her the way to what she wanted?
send me a number and a fandom/pairing/character(s), and get a five sentence ficlet!

A Regal Look at Elizabeth Swann's Costumes in At World's End
I may not be an expert in historical fashion but I know good costume design when I see it - let's dive in!
We first meet Elizabeth in Singapore, disguised as a native, presumably a man. Going to meet Sao Feng results in her having to remove most of the outfit down to this. I like that her hair is braided, sort of like a queue, which would have been more common here. I also really like the gag of how much firepower she's hiding under that poncho (and not so much the joke where she has to strip down to go in the bathhouse).
Female representation: 5/10 The first bit is 10/10 for being a very good outfit that tells us a lot of information about where Elizabeth is on her journey (i.e., a very prepared pirate). But then the whole bit of getting her down to her undershirt and especially being looked at from under the planks is pretty tiresome and a 0/10, so I averaged them.
Practicality: 7.5/10 The whole outfit gets a 10/10 for being the most practical thing she could possibly be wearing in this situation. As with above, the following outfit is pretty disappointing but I wouldn't give it a zero, so the overall rating is a bit higher for practicality.
When they leave Singapore, Elizabeth is wearing this costume for the next few scenes. It appears to have an Eastern-style undershirt, with slacks and shoulder protection added on. It definitely feels like an outfit she cobbled together in a hurry and that makes sense for the situation (being on the run from the East India Trading Company). It's also I think the only time we see her wear armor until her pirate king outfit. This shows us how well she's adapting to pirate life on the run as well as her goal of getting everyone to make a stand and fight back against their enemies (her main goal for the movie).
Female representation: 10/10 Not gonna lie, I was sad not to get a full-length picture of good quality because it is one of my favorites of hers. It fits the situation perfectly and tells us a lot about her. It's also unique from what the fellas are wearing without singling her out as the lady of the group.
Practicality: 10/10 Easily the most practical thing Elizabeth ever wears. The only negative I can think of is that she might be hot, but she mainly wears this in Asia and then to the ends of the earth, where it is certainly cold at some points (it looks hot in Davy Jones' Locker but we don't know if it is).
Sao Feng has her dressed in this outfit while she is his captive. She wears it while she is next captive of the EITC on the Flying Dutchman until James Norrington helps her escape. It is obviously a ceremonial costume and is absolutely gorgeous. The embroidery alone is amazing, let alone all the other detailing. it is easily as rich and beautiful as any of her dresses in the first movie.
Female representation: 10/10 Honestly, the outfit for a woman who is currently a captive and mistaken for a goddess does not usually look like this. I would expect something white and billowy with a lot of skin showing (though obviously that is a Western view and I'm sure things are different in Singapore, but this was made by Hollywood after all). Anyway, I couldn't ask for better.
Practicality: 8/10 Being ceremonial, it presumably is not the most practical outfit for the kinds of adventures Elizabeth is on. It does allow her to climb up a rope to escape, which is more than I can say for most of her gowns.
And here she is, the pirate king! After taking a dip in the last outfit, she presumably puts this together from whatever was on the ship she and Tai Huang (and his men) take to Shipwreck Cove. And just look at it - it's beautifully made and actually has some good armor for going to war at last. It's perfect in every way.
Female representation: 1000/10 Our leading lady gets a costume change before the final scene and actually gets more layers? That never happens. She looks like the hero of our story and the king of the pirates and it's wonderful.
Practicality: 1000/10 Again, she actually gets to wear armor! In a battle! None of our other leads get that. It wouldn't do much against a direct shot, presumably, but there is a lot of shrapnel from the canons and I'm sure it would be some help against a sword. I can't think of another lady who gets such a practical change of outfit for the final battle.
This is presumably what she was wearing under the pirate king outfit. But of course she looks great in it. It's also more feminine than anything she has been wearing before it (even the other undershirt was more clearly a man's). That makes sense for her wedding night. Or the morning after, technically. It also makes sense canonically for it to be sunset but the mood lighting adds to the romance of the scene. I particularly like how the skirt (?) pieces swirl around as she runs down the beach.
Female representation: 9/10 It's basically like wearing a man's button down the morning after, but it is also actually her own clothes and she looks pretty without inviting oggling.
Practicality: 8/10 She's not wearing any shoes (except Will's boot briefly) and has a lot of skin bare for being in the Caribbean. It doesn't compare practically with the other outfits of this movie, but I mean I would wear it.
Ten years later, we check in Elizabeth wearing this outfit while taking her son to meet Will. We don't get a lot of information about what she has been up to all this time, if she is still pirate king or whatever. but we can see that she is pretty far from the proper lady we met in Port Royal. She is wearing a loose shirt and skirt with a waistcoat - presumably man's clothes above the waist and the skirt could be loose pants for all I can tell (there aren't a lot of pictures sadly). In any case, we can conclude that she is still bucking tradition even if she is now a wife and mother. Even if she might not be a king of all of the pirates anymore.
Female representation: 10/10 For a lady pirate wearing man's clothes, she looks pretty great - just loose fitting and comfortable instead of it being an excuse to show skin. Not that I expected otherwise from this franchise at this point (they've done fantastically going against tropes the whole time and especially with Elizabeth's outfits). A wonderful last scene of her.
Practicality: 9/10 Obviously not as practical as the armor, but she's not going into battle. It's a great outfit for what she's doing.

I’m sorry but… did i just read “mating gown”? like not the weeding gown but a special gown made for when they will be mating? I NEED MORE INFORMATION PLEASE!!! (if possible)
Hey bestie! You didn't read wrong but I'm also guilty of using both words interchangeably here🫣🫣
His official wedding/mating ceremony gown looks more like Elizabeth Swann's from POTC and for his mating night he'd be essentially stripped down to his under dress
Thank you for reading bestie 🥹🥹

May I request cuddling with reader headcannons for Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann? Thx!
Hello dear 💖, thanks for your request.
Cuddling with Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth swann 🫂
Jack sparrow🍺
Tortuga, a place for buccaneers, scoundrels, and ex sailors.
Jack was surrounded by the wenches of the faithful bride. All laughing and flirting with the handsome captain.
He leaned back against the chair with rum in hand; his smile showed his go
Jack spotted you heading outside. His lip twitched when you were leaving such a lively place.
Jack stood up from the chair as he said, "scuse' me darlins".
He strutted up to you outside. "Question, why would you rather be out here when you could be in a great place like in there?" Jack smiled at the door of the faithful bride.
You looked at Jack wearing a full gown skirted robe à la française gown with your hair in soft curls/ you wore a gentleman's coating, with your hair tied back in a bow/ you wore a pair of breeches with a blouse, you wore a tricorn hat.
You looked up at the stars, remembering the adventures you had with jack on the pearl.
Jack tried looking to where your eyes followed. "I do recall a certain adventure, one where I claimed a certain ship, my pearl."
You looked at Jack with a confused manner. "Captain sparrow, are you referring to--".
"When you saved me that day from the navy, aye, such a courageous thing you were, a lass/lad/person who fancied the same freedom i did," Jack complimented.
"Though, you nearly shot me." he placed a finger on his chin in a thinking expression. "Terrible with pistols but, a great swordsman/swordswoman/swordsperson, tell me, how does that work?".
You shrugged "I suppose I'm just odd Jack".
"The world's odd darlin', if the people in it aint odd we'd be borin' people stuck in a borin' world, odd people make the world an interestin' place don't-cha think, savvy?" Jack said wisely.
You had no idea sparrow could be so wise, half the time you couldn't tell if he was drunk or smart. He was choatic thats for sure.
You wrapped your arms around Jack and leaned into his grasp. His scent was of strong rum and sea water.
Jack taken back held his arms out to the sides as if he weren't expecting the hug. "What?, did I say somethin'" he questioned.
He gently held your back with one arm as the other held rum. He drunk the rum as you hugged him.
"Jack?" A voice called out. "Master Gibbs" Jack held his arm around your shoulder.
"We did it Jack, we won tha keg of rum" master Gibbs cheerfully spoke.
"Excellent, bring that keg on board master Gibbs and prepare to cast off" Jack ordered.
Elizabeth Swann🦢
Elizabeth wore a golden robe a la francaise gown with her hair done in a bun with a single coil touching her shoulders.
You decided to quickly catch Elizabeth before she plotted to find Jack and Will.
"Elizabeth, Elizabeth!" You firmly said loudly.
"If your intention is to stop me then your wasting valuable time" Elizabeth responded with a feisty tone.
"Nay, not any of the sorts, I wish to bid you a final farewell" you replied. Elizabeth was in love with will you knew, but that still didn't stop your feelings for her.
"A farewell?" She questioned. "I have no intention of death being apart of my plan".
"No, for me, if Admiral Norrington catches me, I'll be hanging at the galley for helping with Sparrow's escape" you sadly implied.
"He won't, he can't, not even Will-" she tried to reassure you.
"Turner has made his leave, he won't be caught neither will Jack" you had to make the hard decision of leaving.
"Then come with me, you'll gain freedom im sure Captain Jack Sparrow will be reasonable and give you quarter on his ship" Elizabeth gently touched your hand.
"I would but you'll be tracked down along with Turner and Sparrow" you lightly grabbed her hand.
Elizabeth didn't want you to go, she loved you in many ways, even if it wasn't romantically.
You hugged her as a final farewell as she hugged you back.
"I promise to come back for you" Elizabeth gently spoke.
You kissed the top of her forehead before bolting. Elizabeth watched with a slightly sad full expression.

Prolouge:Gods of Sea
Suprise wasn’t even close to what Governer Swann felt whenever he opened his door on that warm, spring afternoon to find a basket with a small baby in it, the only thing that was with her was a note, a blanket and a locket that was around her neck but way to big for the small child. The Governer was quick to act, picking up the basket and walking inside, where he found his gorgeous wife sitting on the couch, holding their new born. “Penny, darling, come here please.” The woman’s head whipped around, revealing a beautiful face, framed by blond hair and forest green eyes. “Oh dear what is that?” The woman hopped up and hurried towards her husband, clutching her baby in her arms. “It’s a child.” The Governer said, moving the blanket off the baby and lifting her up into his arms. “She came with a note as well.” He spoke handing the woman the peace of paper.
Whoever may find my darling daughter please find her a good home, I could no longer care for her but she being my flesh and blood must find a place of residence. Her name is Estella, and again, take her in, do not let her know about this, let her live her life as if she was normal.
Mrs.Swann read it aloud, staring at the dear young girl in her husbands arms. “We must take her in Weatherby.” The governer of Port Royal stared at the baby in his arms for a secound. A small head of curly midnight hair was brushing her head as her big crystal blue doe eyes stared up at him. “Indeed Penny. Elizabeth seems to have a new sister, Estella Swann.”
~~
“Stella!” Young Elizabeth Swan’s voice yelled out for her sister, searching through the croud of people until she saw small pale legs from being a curtain, hiding a small bakery’s windows. Elizabeth ran towards her sister, full intent of winning their little game, but before she could tag her Estella charged out of the curtain, running down the dirt street as her hair flew behind her along with her giggles. Elizabeth huffed, knowing her sister would put up a long chase. The two girls weaved through the street and people, mistresses dressed in beatiful gowns and men standing sophisticated with all their glory, but none of that mattered to them. Suddenly a loud bump echoed through the square as the curly haired girl fell onto her bottom, tears filling her eyes and a red mark in the formation of a hand now printed on her check. Tears dripping down the young girls checks as she refused to look up at the man in front of her. Elizabeth rushed to her sisters side, cupping her check and whipping her tears before glancing up at the commodore. “D..don’t touch her.” Elizabeth tried to sound intimidating but it came off more scared in her small voice. The commodore scowled down at her but didn’t smack her but instead firmly said, “get back to your parents.”
~~
A fourteen year old Estella Swann sat on the dock, gently dipping her feet into the water below with her nose in a book. Sitting by the water and reading was one of Estella’s favorite things to do, she didn’t have many friends unlike her sister, typically the girl was alone unless she was with her parents or Elizabeth. Currently she was reading a book she picked up whenever she was younger in Italy. It was about the tails of pirates in the caribbean. She was shocked at how many brutal but altogether adventurous things had happened so close to her home. The stories about Davy Jones, Jack Sparrow, Black Beard, they all interested her more than anything she’d ever experienced. The way the pirates stood out, the way their stories shows that dispite the badness everyone said they had they were full of excitement, full of freedom. Estella would kill to be like the men she would read about that were off at sea, she wanted to be brave, speak up when she wanted something, she wanted to learn how to sail and how to swing from ropes and lead a crew, but instead she was stuck. Stuck as shy small Estella Swann, dispite how much she could dream she would never be a pirate, never have the freedom to feel the wind in her hair and the splash of ocean water, she would stay with her family until she got married off to some man and live the rest of her life as a house mother and wife. She couldn’t be free. Estella gently traced a picture sketched into the book, it was of a pirate ship, one with black sails that held the wind and a beautiful build, Estella didn’t even have to look at the caption to know that the ship on the page was the Black Pearl, one of the fastest ships in the world. Estella gently shut her book as she saw the ship arrive in the corner of her eye and stood, a small smile grazing her lips as she slowly made her way to stand in front of the boat as she watched two familiar faces step down, accompanied by an unfamiliar face, a small boy around her and Elizabeth’s age. As the three got down to Estella she immediately questioned the stranger to her father. “This is William Turner.” Estella’s father introduced waving his hand at the mysterious boy. Will smiled at her and held his hand out, Estella hesitantly shook his hand telling Will her name.

Sew-Isolation: The Elizabeth Swann Peach Gown Plans
Pic-heavy post below the cut
And... I can hardly believe it, my friends, but here it is! I’m moving on to planning the final Elizabeth Swann gown from Curse of the Black Pearl!
I have to say, I never thought I’d reach this point. I thought lockdown would be over way before I had a chance to actually finish anything.
But, for better or for worse, here I am! And plonking all my research photos here for future reference.
This gown was actually auctioned on a Propstore website a while back, so there’s plenty of photos.
The gown itself is a simple robe anglaise with fine lace ruffles at the hemline and sleeves, and some burgundy braid detail at the waist, neckline and cuffs. Despite the 25 tiny little wooden buttons down the front, those are for show - there’s no buttonholes, and I’m pretty sure I’ve caught sight of our old friend “hidden snap closures” in a couple of screenshots.
There also appears to be a quilted serpentine pattern on both the overgown...
And the cream silk petticoat, shown more clearly below. I like the fact it’s like an ocean wave, suggesting Elizabeth’s new found affinity for the sea (and the pirates life)
The gown is paired with some lovely cream silk shoes bound with burgundy ribbon, and finished off with some delightful gold buckles.
She also has this simply lovely straw bergere hat!
It’s got some delicate lace around the brim paired with dusky pink silk flowers. The ribbon ties is a beige silk with a fancy cotton lace appliqued on. It’s a very nice look (if you look past the fact this is what she’s wearing for Jack’s execution, but then again - what DO you wear to a public hanging orchestrated by your father and fiancé for the pirate who helped rescue you? That’s a pretty hard occasion to dress for)
I’ve actually made some progress on the accessory front already. I was lucky enough to find a pair of Hotter “Donna” shoes in a cream suede that have a great 18th century silhouette.
I removed the great honking suede bows on the front. I already had some lovely burgundy rayon bias binding in my sewing stash, to with a judicious application of craft glue, and some creative snipping, I made myself some shoe tongues from the bows I’d removed, edged those, and attached them inside the shoes.
And voila! A passable (well, sort of) approximation of an 18th century shoe. I managed to find some decorative buckles on Ebay that I’m just waiting to arrive, but they’re purely decorative, and going to be lightly sewn on. I’m not up to complicated shoemaking yet!
I already HAVE a floral bergere straw hat that was vaguely inspired my Elizabeth’s hat, so all that will take is a bit of editing - removing some decorative braid and trimming down the brim. But once that’s done, I can move on the gown itself!
Ah, the gown. The fabric itself was a Stroheim and Romann silk drapery fabric that retailed at $97 per metre at the time, back in...2003. Not within a costuming for fun budget! And I didn’t find anything similar, apart from a Laura Ashley curtain print...
now, on the face of it, this fabric looks PERFECT, right? Plus, you get a lot of metreage in curtains - definitely enough for a gown. But whilst this fabric is cotton... it turned out to be COTTON CANVAS. Thick upholstery fabric, and really not suitable for a gown. I cut out some pattern pieces from it, but even pinning it, I could tell it wasn’t going to look right. I cut my losses, sent the fabric to recycling, and began looking for other options.
Luckily, my next option was a LOT better. I found this gorgeous Rose and Hubble silk dupioni print. It’s not perfect, but it’s close enough, was amazingly affordable, and in just the right colours. I’m perfecting my cotton mockup before I cut this baby out, but I was just so relieved to have found SOMETHING that would work!
Materials gathered for now. Stay tuned for next time, there there may actually be some sewing progress!
