Action movies are your specialty. Action movies are what make you comfortable. You like doing your own stunts, getting makeup done to look bloody, and getting your adrenaline going because of how extreme they want you to act. It’s what you’ve always known since all the movies you’ve been in have been action films.
Not this time.
Your agent got you a role in a modern romance film since she thought you’d be perfect for it. You are but that doesn’t mean you don’t know how to act in one. All the action films had a bit of romance to it but nothing like what they‘re asking you to do now. You only accepted because the director is a really good friend of yours and you couldn't turn her down.
Not only are you nervous about being in a romance movie, but you’re even more nervous that you’re acting beside the legendary Wanda Maximoff. Elizabeth Olsen has been your celebrity crush for years and you’re not sure how you’ll be able to film a romance movie with her without freaking out.
Actually, she’s more than just a celebrity crush you have. You’ve met her a few times over the years and she is the sweetest person you’ve ever met. She is shy and reserved but she is down to Earth and genuinely cares about people. She is a good person and that’s hard to find nowadays with celebrities.
You pace back and forth in your trailer with the script in hand for the few scenes you’re going to be acting out later. The director feels like it helps to get all the awkward and uncomfortable scenes out of the way so you don’t have to feel it later on, so the script is nothing but kissing scenes here and touching scenes there.
God, why did you think you can be able to do this? If your costar was anyone else, you wouldn’t have a problem with it. It’s only because it’s her that you do. What if she doesn't like the way you kiss? What if she doesn’t want to kiss you? What if she becomes repulsed by kissing you that she doesn’t want to do the rest of the movie?
Making her feel uncomfortable is the last thing you ever want to do, and you don’t want to ruin what you two have if there is anything there to ruin.
Someone knocks on your trailer door, interrupting your thoughts.
“Who is it?” you ask.
“Lizzie. Can I come in?”
You practically throw the script somewhere in your trailer so it doesn’t look like you’ve been obsessing over it. You lean against the counter in an attempt to look nonchalant.
“Yeah, sure. “ The door opens and Lizzie walks in with a smile on her face. “What’s up?”
“I wanted to talk to you before we head down to set for the day.”
“Oh? What about?”
She looks around the room and sees the script half on the couch and half hanging over it.
“About that. I’m guessing you read most of it if not all?”
“Yeah, I did,” you nod, your resolve fading fast.
“Anything I can do to make it better? I figure we should talk about it so it doesn’t become awkward when we’re actually doing it.”
“I gotta know, are you in a relationship? I know actors who have these scenes are, but I have to know.”
“No, I’m not,” she smiles and walks closer to you. “Are you?”
“No.”
“Good. We got that out of the way.”
“Yeah.” Your breathing picks up the more she comes closer to you. “So, what are we going to do about it?”
“Well, you know the saying, ‘practice makes perfect’?”
“Yeah.”
“I think that applies here, don’t you think? You don’t want either of us messing up and having to redo the scene dozens of times to get it right, right?”
Now that you think about it, it might not be a bad idea until you think of everyone watching you mess up.
“Right,” you whisper.
“Then come here.”
She pulls you in by your belt loops and kisses you softly at first to test the waters. Only when you cup her jaw with both hands does she kiss you a bit harder. Butterflies explode in your stomach from the contact because this is everything you thought it was going to be and more.
You two don’t need practice because this comes naturally to both of you.
“You give me butterflies,” you whisper against her lips.
“Same here,” she grins.
And that is how you started dating your wife, Elizabeth Chase Olsen.

In the heart of a bustling city, amidst the clamor of everyday life, there was a small bookstore called "Whispering Pages." This quaint shop, with its creaky wooden floors and shelves overflowing with books, was a sanctuary for those seeking solace and understanding in the pages of stories. It was here that two souls, Y/N and Wanda, found each other and began a journey that would teach them the true meaning of love.
Wanda was a quiet, introspective woman with a penchant for losing herself in the worlds crafted by her favorite authors. Her days were spent managing the bookstore, and her nights were filled with the comfort of a good book. She was content in her solitude, finding companionship in the characters and stories she cherished.
Y/N, on the other hand, was a vibrant, outgoing woman with a zest for life that was contagious. A journalist by profession, she was always on the move, chasing stories and capturing moments. Despite her busy lifestyle, she had a deep appreciation for literature and often found herself wandering into "Whispering Pages" to escape the chaos of the outside world.
One rainy afternoon, as Wanda was engrossed in organizing a new shipment of books, Y/N entered the store, shaking off the droplets of rain from her coat. She walked to the counter, where Wanda was carefully arranging a display of classic novels.
"Excuse me," Y/N said, her voice warm and friendly. "Do you have any recommendations for a good read on a rainy day?"
Wanda looked up, momentarily startled by the sudden interruption. She saw a woman with kind eyes and an inviting smile, and despite her usual reserved nature, she found herself wanting to engage.
"Well," she began, her voice soft but steady, "it depends on what you're in the mood for. Do you have a particular genre in mind?"
Y/N leaned against the counter, considering her question. "I think I'm in the mood for something introspective, something that makes you reflect on life and love."
A smile tugged at the corners of Wanda's lips. "I think I have just the thing." She walked over to a nearby shelf, selecting a book with a worn cover and handing it to Y/N. "This is one of my favorites. It's a beautiful exploration of what it means to truly know and be known by another person."
Y/N took the book from her, their fingers brushing briefly. She glanced at the title and nodded appreciatively. "Thank you, Wanda. This looks perfect."
Over the following months, Y/N became a regular visitor to the bookstore. Each visit brought with it a new conversation, a deeper connection. They discussed books, life, and their own hopes and dreams. Wanda found herself opening up to Y/N in a way she had never done with anyone before, and Y/N, in turn, shared parts of herself that she usually kept hidden.
One evening, as the sun began to set and the bookstore was bathed in a golden glow, Y/N approached Wanda with a sense of purpose. "Wanda, would you like to have dinner with me tonight?"
Wanda hesitated for a moment, her heart racing. She had grown accustomed to their conversations, to the way Y/N made her feel seen and understood.
She nodded, a shy smile spreading across her face. "I'd like that very much."
They walked to a nearby café, their conversation flowing as naturally as the evening breeze. As they sat across from each other, Y/N reached for Wanda's hand. "You know, Wanda, I've been thinking a lot about what it means to love someone. I used to believe that love was about grand gestures and passionate declarations, but you've shown me that it's about something much deeper."
Wanda squeezed her hand gently, her eyes meeting Y/N's. "What do you mean?"
"To love someone is to truly know them," Y/N said softly. "It's about understanding their fears, their dreams, their quirks. It's about seeing them for who they really are and accepting them wholeheartedly. And Wanda, you've made me realize that I've never known anyone the way I know you." She added, "You have a way of speaking that is uniquely on your own, a melody that dances in the air and lingers long after the words have faded. Your voice, soft and melodious, carries a warmth that can soothe even the most troubled soul. When you speaks, it's as if each word is carefully chosen, imbued with meaning and intention. Whether you're sharing a grand idea or simply recounting on your day, there's a sincerity in your tone that draws me in." Y/N started. "Your laughter is like a burst of sunlight breaking through the clouds on a gloomy day. It's infectious, a sound that bubbles up from deep within you and spills out in a cascade of joy. I love the way your eyes light up when you laughs, how they crinkle at the corners and sparkle with mirth. It's in those moments, when you're lost in laughter, that I see the purest, most unguarded version of you—a sight that never fails to make my heart swell with affection."
Tears welled up in Wanda's eyes as she listened to Y/N's words.
"One of the things I adore most about you, Wanda, is your kindness. It's not always in grand gestures, though you're certainly capable of those, but in the little things you do every day. I've seen you comfort a stranger who looked lost, offer a smile to someone who seemed down, and take the time to listen to a friend in need. Your empathy knows no bounds, and it's in these small acts of kindness that your true beauty shines." Y/N continued to ramble, "You also have this habit of tucking your hair behind your ear when you're deep in thought, a gesture so simple yet so endearing. I've watched you do it countless times, each instance a reminder of how intimately familiar I've become with your little quirks. And when you're excited about something, your whole face lights up." She stopped for a moment before gazing at Wanda's eyes, "But perhaps what I love most about you is your unwavering authenticity. You are unapologetically yourself, never trying to be anything other than who you are. It's a rare and precious quality, one that draws people and makes them feel comfortable in your presence. You have a way of making the people around you feel seen and valued, of creating a space where we can be our true self without fear of judgment."
"Y/N, I've always been afraid of letting people in, of being truly known. But with you, it feels different. It feels right." Wanda stated, tears in her eyes.
Y/N smiled, her heart swelling with emotion. "Wanda, you are the most incredible person I've ever met. And I want to spend the rest of my life getting to know you even better, loving you for all that you are."
It's the small things, the details that might go unnoticed by others, that have woven Wanda into the fabric of Y/N's love for her. She is the embodiment of everything Y/N cherish, a constant source of joy and inspiration. To love Wanda is to know her, truly and deeply, and Y/N count herself incredibly fortunate to share this journey with Wanda.
Years passed, and "Whispering Pages" became more than just a bookstore; it became a testament to their love. Wanda and Y/N built a life together, filled with the understanding and acceptance that comes from truly knowing and being known by another person.
In every glance, every touch, every word, Y/N find new reasons to fall in love with Wanda all over again. She is her muse, her confidante, her greatest adventure. And as long as there are new things to discover about Wanda, Y/N know that her love for Wanda will only continue to grow, blossoming like the flowers she so adores, forever and always.
In the end, they realized that love wasn't about perfection or always having the right words. It was about being present, listening, and cherishing each other's hearts. And as they stood together, surrounded by the books that had brought them together, they knew that their love was a story worth telling, one that would endure for generations to come.

The sun cast its warm glow over the tranquil morning, illuminating the Avengers' headquarters. Wanda Maximoff, dressed in a stunning white gown, stood before the mirror, a smile gracing her lips as she admired her reflection. Today was her wedding day, a day she had dreamt of, and it was finally here. The room buzzed with excitement as friends and teammates bustled around, making the final preparations for the ceremony. Among them was you, Wanda's closest friend, and perhaps the one who knew her best.
You had been a constant presence in Wanda's life since your paths had intertwined at Hydra. From the first moment you met, there was an instant connection, a deep understanding that bound your souls together. Through trials and tribulations, you had leaned on each other, forming a bond that could never be broken.
As Wanda's maid of honor, you had the task of ensuring everything went off without a hitch. You moved gracefully around the room, orchestrating the final touches with your usual calm demeanor. But beneath the facade of serenity, your heart was a storm of conflicting emotions.
Wanda turned from the mirror, her eyes alight with joy. "Y/N, can you believe this day is finally here?"
You smiled, your gaze tender. "Who would’ve thought that one day, one of those scared little kids being tested on in the Hydra facility would be getting their happily ever after? Here w-you are, defying all odds, you deserve all the happiness in the world."
Wanda's gaze softened as she reached out and took your hand. "And you, my dear friend, have been there for me through everything. I couldn't imagine this day without you by my side."
Your heart skipped a beat at the sincerity in Wanda's eyes. How you wished you could express the depth of your feelings, but you had always been skilled at hiding your true emotions.
The ceremony was a blur of beauty and emotion straight from a fairy tale, and soon Wanda and Vision were pronounced husband and wife. The reception was a lively affair, laughter, and music filling the air as the Avengers and their friends celebrated the union. You watched from the sidelines, your smile bright, but your heart ached. You had always been content with your friendship with Wanda, but the realization that you could never truly have her stung more fiercely today.
As the night continued; Tony Stark, his inhibitions loosened by alcohol, became increasingly boisterous. You tried to keep a low profile, but Tony's attention landed squarely on you.
"Ah, Y/N! Always the bridesmaid, but never the bride," Tony slurred, a sardonic grin on his face, as he hooked his right arm around your shoulder and squeezed you into his side so that you were forced to listen to his remarks.
Your cheeks flushed a mix of embarrassment and hurt flooding in. Forcing a laugh, hoping to brush off his comment. "Well, someone's gotta support our happily ever afters, Tony."
Tony's gaze sharpened, and he took another swig of his drink. "You know, it's a shame, really. All that unrequited love you've been harboring for Wanda."
“Tony.” Natasha warned after hearing what was being said through earshot.
Your heart stopped, panic gripping tightly around your neck. How could he know? You had kept your feelings buried so deep, you could argue that sometimes you even forgot they were there.
The party around them seemed to fade into the background as Tony's words hung in the air. Your mind raced, searching for a way to salvage the situation, to hide the truth that had been laid bare.
But Tony wasn't finished. "Oh, come on. The way you've always dropped everything to be there for her, the way your eyes follow her whenever she's in the room and shy away under her glance. It's obvious."
“Tony, Enough!” Natasha said much louder, garnering more attention than she had hoped for.
Your world shattered. Someone you had trusted, one who promised to be on your side, had just exposed your most guarded secret. You felt exposed, vulnerable, and utterly lost.
Wanda approached after hearing Natasha raise her voice, concern in her eyes as she noticed you in distress. "Hey, what's going on? Is everything ok?"
Tony smirked, his voice dripping with malice. "Just having a little heart-to-heart about our dear Y/N’s feelings for you."
Wanda's gaze turned to you, a mixture of surprise and confusion in her eyes. Your heart raced and your throat constricted with a flood of emotions you couldn't put into words. You could feel the tears start to well in your eyes even if they hadn’t become noticeable yet. The embarrassment was gobbling you whole at this point, the only thing you could think to do was run, you didn’t want to sit there and see Wanda’s reaction. You couldn't. You didn’t want her pity, her anger, her disgust, whatever lay beneath her gorgeous green eyes. You couldn’t wait around for it, so you flung yourself and weaseled out from Tony’s far too tight grasp and booked it.
“Tony, What the fuck!” Natasha scolded him as Wanda chased after you, still in her wedding dress and heels.
“What? We were all thinking it. Someone had to say it.” He brushed off with no remorse.
“You’re unbelievable, keep this up and you won’t have any friends left, Stark,” Nat spat back.
Eventually, your running ceased as you fell to your knees in the garden behind the reception and past the courtyard. Your tears became uncontrollable as you sat there sobbing as quietly as you could, hoping you had run far enough away that Wanda wouldn’t find you. The feeling of embarrassment still replaying in your brain on repeat along with thoughts swirling around in your mind that Wanda would hate you for what Tony said. How could she be your friend after that? You hadn’t known life without her for quite some time, and before her, it was all terrible. The only joy you ever found in life came after she lit up your world. How could you go back to that?
It didn’t take long for Wanda to find you, she could read you like a book. As soon as she spotted you sobbing on the ground, she immediately ran up to you and knelt down to wrap you in her arms to try and stop your sobbing, “Y/N, shh, it’s ok,” she whispered in your ear as she gently rocked you.
Once the sobbing slowed you attempted to break your silence, "Wanda, I..." you began, your voice barely above a whisper.
But Wanda held up a hand, stopping you. Her expression was a complex blend of emotions – surprise, curiosity, and something else you couldn't quite decipher.
"Wanda, I never meant for you to find out like this," you managed, your voice trembling.
Wanda's gaze softened, and she dipped her head down closer, reaching out to cup your cheek. "Y/N, you've always been a constant in my life, a rock when everything else was uncertain. I've leaned on you, and I hope you know that you mean the world to me."
Even though the sobbing had slowed, new tears began to well in your eyes, a mix of relief and regret flooding you. "I- I didn't want to complicate things. I cherished our friendship more than anything, and I never wanted to put you in an uncomfortable position."
Wanda smiled a sad but genuine smile. "Love is never something to be regretted, priyatel'. You’ve been my go-to, my best friend, the one I can share my good days and bad days with. Soulmates aren’t just lovers."
Your heart ached with a bittersweet blend of emotions. You had lost your chance, but at least you hadn't lost your friend. Wanda's acceptance meant more to you than you could even express, “I’m sorry,” you said as you dipped your head away from her gaze.
“Knock it off, priyatel'. None of this is your fault.” Wanda assured you as you both stood from the ground.
“Your dress is ruined and your wedding night, all because of me,” you noted.
“Y/N, you’re worth so much more to me than some stupid dress, and the night is still young.” she said extending her hand for you to grab as she escorted you back to the party.
“Come on, lets at least get your dress cleaned up,” you said taking her hand.
As the venue emptied and the night drew to a close, you found yourself sitting alone on a quiet balcony, the stars above offering a soothing embrace. Wanda joined you, the sound of her footsteps soft against the night.
"Mind if I join you?" Wanda asked, her voice gentle.
You shook your head, managing a small smile. "Of course not."
The two of you sat in silence for a while, the weight of the unspoken conversation heavy in the air.
"I'm sorry I never realized," Wanda finally said, her voice tinged with regret.
You looked at her, your heart aching for the pain you saw in Wanda's eyes. "Wanda, please don't blame yourself. My feelings were my own to bear, and I never wanted to burden you with them."
Wanda reached out, taking your hand in her own. "But you're not a burden, Y/N. If anything, I regret not seeing the depth of your feelings sooner. You've been a constant in my life, and I should have understood what that meant."
Your heart swelled at her words, as you squeezed her hand. "Wanda, you've given me so much already. I'll always cherish our friendship, no matter what."
Wanda's gaze was intense, her eyes searching yours, "And I'll cherish it too, Y/N. You're a huge part of my story, and I wouldn't have it any other way."
Tears welled in your eyes, as you took a deep breath, trying to steady your emotions. "Wanda, you mean everything to me. Seeing you happy is all that matters."
Wanda reached out, gently wiping away a tear from your cheek. "And your happiness matters to me too. Life is full of unexpected twists, Y/N. Who's to say what lies ahead?"
As you both sat there, hand in hand, bathing in the moonlight, you realized that perhaps love didn't always have to be romantic to be meaningful. The love you held for Wanda, while unrequited, had shaped you into the person you were now, and that was a story worth telling.
And so, in the quiet moments of that night, two hearts found solace in the understanding that friendship, even when mixed with unspoken emotions, could be a powerful and beautiful thing.
The night wore on, the moon casting its silver glow over the Avengers' compound. The celebration had shifted into a quieter phase, with small groups of friends and family gathered around, reminiscing and sharing stories. You found yourself engaged in a conversation with Clint and Nat, both of whom had been part of your journey since the early days of being rescued.
"Hey, Y/N, remember that mission in Budapest?" Clint chuckled, a nostalgic glint in his eye.
You laughed, leaning back in your chair. "How could I forget? That was the mission that involved the cat, right?"
Natasha smirked, her gaze thoughtful. "Ah, yes, the infamous cat incident. You've always had a way of turning the most serious situations into something memorable."
You grinned, the warmth of their camaraderie washing over you. Despite the turmoil of your own heart, you were grateful for these connections, these moments that had shaped your life.
As the night continued, Your gaze kept drifting toward Wanda, who was surrounded by well-wishers and friends, her laughter ringing through the air. The sight was both heartwarming and heart-wrenching, a reminder of what she now had and what you could never have.
Tony, his previous intoxication now replaced by solemn sobriety, approached you, his gaze apologetic. "Hey, you, about earlier..."
You held up a hand, your expression softening. "Tony, it's okay. I know you were just speaking your mind."
Tony sighed, his shoulders slumping. "I should have been more careful with my words. I didn't mean to hurt you."
You smiled, offering him a reassuring pat on the arm. "Don't worry about it, Tony. Water under the bridge."
“Oh Y/N, you let him off way too easily,” Natasha teased.
As the night drew to a close, the guests slowly began to disperse, their laughter and conversation fading into the background. It was bittersweet, being part of this day, surrounded by happiness and love, yet feeling an ache deep within.

Uneasy is the Head (a fanfic)
Specifically, a Marvel fanfic.
Synopsis:
Wanda is on the run AGAIN. Following the destruction at Kamar-Taj and Mount Wundagore, she is doing her best to just remain alive in the safety of anonymity. That is until an old enemy walks back into her life with a proposition.
Words: 7,735
Rating: Teen and up
:::
Wanda knew what it was like to be on the run; if it wasn’t one form of government, it was another. In many ways, this was nothing new to The Scarlet Witch, but the game had admittedly gotten significantly more difficult. The longer she lived, the more enemies she seemed to amass and so with each year, her very existence became more and more precarious. Where at first she was simply running from the corrupt politicians controlling Sokovia, now she had the added attention of the US government and the Masters of the Mystics Arts. Of course, the latter was under the assumption that she was dead, and she wanted to keep it that way. If they found out she had survived the collapse at Mount Wundagore, they would certainly make her death a reality. And, truthfully, Wanda couldn’t really blame them.
She wasn’t entirely sure what this new part of her life would look like; she’d burned so many bridges and had very few places to go. It would have been easy for her to give into despair, and many times she did. More than once, the pain had overtaken her again and she’d just laid down in the middle of the street, weeping uncontrollably. Luckily, for her, Barcelona was a massive city with more displaced people than anywhere else in Europe. When people saw a random woman lying in the streets, especially in the back alleys, they paid little attention. Someone might attempt to rob her, but they only got as far as putting their hands on her before some strange magic came over them and they shuddered in silent pain. The smart ones let go, but the idiots held on and soon joined Wanda on the ground. Unlike The Scarlet Witch, however, they never got up again.
After months of just wandering across Spain and Portugal, living off the charity of others and only occasionally stealing, Wanda had finally collected enough money to secure a tiny flat in the darkest corner of Barcelona. It was a quiet, anonymous existence that included a part-time job as a waitress (where she went by the name Isla), trying desperately to learn Spanish as quickly as possible, and dyeing her infamous red hair a mousy brown every two weeks or so. Once in a while Wanda would stick her neck out in order to break up a few human trafficking rings or surreptitiously send the abusive husband of her manager into a shark tank at Aquàrium Barcelona where he promptly drowned.
Wanda had worried that Abril would be sad over the loss of her husband, as many victims of abusive relationships and Stockholm syndrome occasionally are, but time and a hefty life insurance policy in Daniel’s name proved to be good medicine for an aching heart. Seeing her friend walk around with a newfound lease on life was almost enough to make Wanda forget…about everything. Perhaps it was best if she did just forget; it wouldn’t have been the first time she’d attempted to leave Wanda Maximoff behind in favor of someone else: someone more normal and less complicated.
But even if she had genuinely wanted to let it all go, the Darkhold’s stain across her hands were a constant reminder of who she was and what she had done. She wore flesh-colored gloves whenever she was out in public and told elaborate stories about how she’d been burned in a car accident. The gloves made her job at the diner difficult at times, but Abril and the rest of the staff had always been so courteous and accommodating towards “Isla” and her fictitious injury. They were all so kind, and none of them had no idea what kind of monster she was.
The only souvenir of her past life, save the blackened fingers, was a single photo: a precious relic that she only took out in her darkest of hours. She hadn’t the foggiest idea of how, after everything, it had stayed both in one piece and in her possession, but she was grateful nonetheless. While living on the street, Wanda had treated it like a holy grail, the single flame that kept her going merely because it reminded her of a simpler time when she had been truly happy. Between The Blip, the Hex, and the Darkhold, it was sometimes difficult to sort out what was real and what had been magic, but the photo grounded her in many ways. That had been real.
It was taken in Prague: one of the many locations Steve had moved her to during Team Captain America ’s time as fugitives. But the location was hardly the important aspect of the photo. Yes, Charles Bridge was clearly featured in the background, but the focus was the bright-eyed and beaming Wanda with an arm wrapped around the torso of a tall, blonde-haired man who, in turn, had his willowy arm draped across her shoulder. She was smiling winningly at the camera, held by a random stranger the pair had flagged down, but Vision’s gaze was entirely on Wanda. It was one of those small moments one sees in movies: Vision sneaking an adoring look at the woman he loved. To Wanda, they had just been posing beside some pretty bridge, but the man beside her had no interest in architecture. The most beautiful thing in the world was Wanda, and he was unable to look away.
Today, she needed to see the picture. The night before had been plagued with the same old terrible nightmares and specters, and Wanda’s mental health necessitated a trip down memory lane. She pulled open the drawer on her nightstand and dug a bit until she found the worn manilla envelope that served as the photo’s home. She sighed with relief as she took in the image and ran a finger adoringly over Vision’s face. It wasn’t just the fact that the print featured him but also that Wanda could clearly see the unaltered happiness in herself. It all seemed like several lifetimes ago.
This lifetime, however, would not wait. She glanced at the clock on the wall and knew she had to go; Isla had work and Wanda had to be put aside for now.

Woah okay, I just finished In Secret, it was such a rollercoaster, but a good one
Me during the first half: 🥰🤸❤️
Me during the second half: 😶💀👀😩
Special thanks go to you bae @buckyssugarchick for providing the link so I was able to watch it and for your excellent mental, emotional and moral support throughout the movie(girl you kept me on edge everytime and Laurent being a slut didn't help😩)
Spoilers below-
First of, Laurent was such a man whore😩😮💨
The part where she hid him under her skirt and he fucking had the audacity to slurp her up like a milkshake🙂↕️
The amount of times they fucked in that movie... Elizabeth Olsen the woman that you are! 🥹
Moon Knight fucking Scarlet Witch, what a time to be into Marvel.
Okay listen, I may write dark stuff but the things Laurent did freaking surprised me. There was that one line "And I would do it all over again for you, I love you." jeez if that didn't sound alarming💀
I went into this one expecting just a dirty affaire, and he literally killed her husband in cold blood because of her, he was freaking obsessed💀 (to be fair she wanted it but that doesn't change the fact he would do it again and again)
And when the scene came where the mother announced their marriage, the way he held her hands and pulled her closer when she tried to pull away🫠
He looked at her like: "Don't pull away, we're married now, wife. :)"
At one point I started thinking he would turn into a freaking serial killer... but that could just be me, please don't judge.
He was about to throw that poor mother down(the stairs?) and I was like: "No way bro's gonna throw that lady off, nooo😭"
Thankfully he didn't and I can sleep in peace tonight. :) the actress playing her was in american horror story and I loved her acting in this one aswell!
(Oh and there was that one guy who was also in Little Britain, the guy who sits in that wheelchair)
That ending threw me off though, I was so confused.
I think I'm never gonna look at Scarlet Witch the same after this movie.
But Oscar was so perfect!!! His accent had me think of Steven Grant, forgive me💀
I may or may not find myself digging into Laurent LeClaire rabbit holes and read all fan fictions of him😭
Don't worry, I have no plans on doing something for him if that's what you fear.
Final conclusion: If you want Oscar Isaac, definitely watch it, the scene where he took his shirt off was definitely worth it.
Alright I gotta process this rollercoaster of a movie🥹

I already shared this with my friends, but here's a hot take that shouldn't be hot and if you take offense then you're part of the problem.
writing fan fiction over real life actors and not separating for the characters that they play is genuinely fucking weird. it's one thing to write about like villanelle or eve polastri and write stuff, it's another thing to write about jodie comer and sandra oh !!!!
I've seen this the MOST with Wanda Maximoff + Elizabeth Olsen. STOP CALLING THE ACTUAL WOMAN MAMA / MOMMY.
I hope people agree with me. If not, yikes.

hi mottsy i have a serious (kinda) question? i was trying to figure out which of my favorite ff writers to ask and i feel like u would give me a genuine answer without taking offense.
do u ever feel like… idk… like shameful or anything about how much you love an actress or character? like sometimes i get these bouts of like intense guilt and shame for how much i genuinely enjoy elizabeth olsen content and just seeing her in general is like a huge dopamine boost. do u think it’s normal for me to randomly feel anxious about whether or not im a bad person because i spend so much time indulging in fan fiction (SFW and NSFW) and watching her interviews and just like imagining spending time with her or her characters? do u ever feel that way? am i having a crisis???
anyway feel free to ignore this ask, i already feel marginally better just admitting this, but idk i feel like it would help having an outside perspective. some days i don’t care, some days i feel like a stalker and a creep and a weirdo.
Hi nonnie, sorry this took me a day to get to, but hopefully my response can still be helpful!
Firstly, I’ll just get it out of the way and say I don’t think you’re a stalker or a creep or a weirdo (unless you are in fact stalking Lizzie, but I’m assuming you’re not just based off the tone of this ask haha). In general I feel like there’s a big push to categorize loves and interests that don’t make money or aren’t “cool” as something that should be fixed or stopped and I think that is… very harmful to having a balanced existence
If you’re not hurting anyone or breaking any boundaries, and are still maintaining a healthy sense of self outside of fantasy (i.e. feeding yourself, paying your bills, being safe at home) and reading fanfiction or watching interviews of someone brings you joy, more power to you. Think about how much time (and money) people put on sports, no one’s telling those people to stop making their fantasy lineups every year; they throw parties WEEKLY and scream at their televisions or in stadiums and I’m sure they have just as much -if not more- passion about their sport or favorite player as you have for your favorite characters.
Finding joy in someone’s work can be an absolutely magical experience tbh; Wanda, Natasha, and literally so many other fictional characters from comics and books were child!Motts’ friends when I didn’t have any and so I’ll Always feel soooo much dopamine whenever I read a favorite piece of media or watch the MCU versions of comic characters on screen because they’re special to me and there’s nothing wrong with that!
I obviously don’t know Lizzie personally, but I’m sure as an actress she appreciates the love and support people show for her projects; who doesn’t want to know that they have fans who feel touched by their hard work, you know?
Again, there’s a ton of nuances to this conversation and such, but tldr- please don’t be ashamed of where you find happiness in this sometimes very cruel, bleak world.
As long as you’re not infringing on anyone’s private life and you can still separate fantasy from reality, go off, tinie fruitcake. Read that fanfic, watch that Lizzie content 💖

TOLERATE IT | elizabeth olsen
while you were out building other worlds, where was i? you assume i'm fine, but what would you do if i break free and leave us in ruins? ( story inspired by @taylorswift song bcs i love her sm ) i'm not sure if someone else already wrote something like this or what, but if you see a story quite similar to this, let me know so i could give them a proper credit. thankyou!! ( colored wording would be the lyrics ) i do not give permission for my work to be copied or translated on other sites. plagiarism is a crime!! masterlist whispers of heartache m.list

Y/N'S POV Lizzie and I had been together for five years. We met in college, fell deeply in love, and spent countless nights talking about our dreams and aspirations. We were each other's rock, supporting each other through thick and thin.
But how can a perfect relationship turn into a toxic one where we barely talk anymore?
I sit and watch you reading with your head low
I don't know what happened. I don't know how to fix it, it that I didn't even know exist. One second we were fine then the next, we're like strangers.
All I could do is sit here and watch her read the script for her new movie. Reading with her head low and sitting far away from me, almost as if I have a disease. As if there's an invisible wall between us.
We would always sit in silence, her pretending to watch TV or read books, but the tension between us was palpable. I know she could feel my eyes on her, but she never spared me a glance. It was as if she was avoiding me intentionally.
Minutes ticked by, and I decided to make her food. After making anchovy, I gently touch her on the shoulder. She jumped, startled, and looked up to find me standing next to her, holding out a plate.
"I made you your favorite," I said softly, my voice barely above a whisper. "Anchovy toast."
Lizzie took the plate from my hand, "Thank you." she replied before looking back at the script once again.
I simply nodded and sat down where I originally sitting, and focused on my own hands folded in my lap with a sigh.
I wake and watch you breathing with your eyes close. I sit and watch you, I notice everything you do or don't do, you're so much older and wiser
I woke up around five in the morning, the sun hadn't completely risen yet, but the little lighting shone through the curtains, casting a soft glow across the room. My gaze fell upon my girlfriend, who lay beside me sleeping lightly. The rise and fall of her chest matched the rhythm of her breathing, a calming sight that used to bring me comfort.
As I lay in bed, I couldn't help but watch my partner, Lizzie, sleeping peacefully beside me. I stayed there, watching her for a moment and appreciate the sight before me. But despite the serenity of the scene, I still felt a pang of sadness in my heart.
Lizzie had always been a restless sleeper, constantly shifting positions throughout the night and sometimes even talking in her sleep. But tonight, she was lying completely still, her face calm and relaxed. If someone saw it, they would instantly let it go and think that she's in a deep slumber but I'm not just someone.
I know the truth.
She was pretending to be asleep and it felt like she didn't want to wake up beside me, like she is simply tolerating my presence.
I wait by the door like I'm just a kid, use my best colors for your portrait
They were small things I did for her, but meaningful nonetheless. Always wait by the door every day to greet her, to offer and show her some love and comfort after a hard day at work. I would always stand there, gazing out into the evening sky, hoping to catch a glimpse of my lover making her way home from work. It didn't matter what time it was, or how tired I am after a long day, I always made sure to be there, waiting for Lizzie.
I even took painting classes as it seemed to ease my mind. I poured all of my emotions into my painting, using every color in the palette to capture the beauty of Lizzie's face. I spent hours each day working on the portrait, trying to convey the depth of my feelings for her and I'd use my best colors for her portraits.
Lay the table with the fancy shit, and watch you tolerate it
I had always been a perfectionist when it comes to cooking and entertaining. I would always spent hours in the kitchen, preparing elaborate meals and setting beautiful tables for my lover. I would carefully select the finest ingredients, meticulously prepare each dish, and arrange the table with exquisite linens, flowers, and candles.
I'd make her favorite dishes, lay the table with best cutlery and yet again, no matter how hard I tried, she never seemed to appreciate my efforts. All Lizzie gave back were strained smiles, small and almost whispered hums, and nods in acknowledgment of my attempts, and a whisper of "thanks," as she shoveled the food into her mouth, barely taking the time to taste or savor any of it.
she seemed to simply… tolerate it.
If it's all in my head tell me now, tell me I've got it wrong somehow
Despite my best efforts to communicate openly and honestly with Lizzie, I felt like she wasn't really listening to me, and it made me feel invisible. I began to wonder if I was overthinking everything, if maybe I was the one who was misinterpreting our interactions. Maybe I was being too sensitive, too needy.
Maybe I was the one who was crazy, paranoid.
I felt so alone, so lost, and so unsure of what to do.
I know my love should be celebrated, but you tolerate it
I began to feel like I was living in a dream world where everything I created was invisible to everyone else. It was as if I was speaking a language that nobody understood, except for my own echoes in mind.
"Liz," I said with a trembling voice, "I've been giving everything I have to make you happy, but it feels like you don't see or appreciate it anymore. I feel taken for granted."
My choice of words caught her off guard, she paused for a moment before responding. "Y/N, I never asked you to do all these things for me. I don't need grand gestures to feel loved, I thought you knew that."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Was this really what our relationship had become? A constant stream of argument and neglect?
Tears welled up in my eyes as I realized the disconnect between our expectations. I had been trying so hard to show her love in a way that I thought she would appreciate, but it had only pushed us further apart.
And it happen, I finally snapped.
I felt a surge of anger and frustration well up inside of me.
Why was I putting so much effort into something that seemed to bring her no joy? Why did I care so deeply about pleasing someone who didn't seem to care about me at all?
I knew, I couldn't keep living this way, constantly pouring my heart and soul into something that brought me nothing but pain and disappointment. I realized that no matter how much I gave, Lizzie would never truly reciprocate and still, I constantly yearn for someone who clearly did not want me.
With a heavy heart, I packed my bags. Our relationship had become toxic, with me constantly sacrificing myself for someone who didn't appreciate me. I knew it was time to leave, before I lost any more pieces of myself.
Before leaving, I took a one last look, the last thing I want to remember was the way Elizabeth used to laugh at my jokes, enjoy our food, take me out on dates. The last thing I want to remember was how she used to love my presence, and not just tolerate it.
Maybe one day someone would be enough to have their love celebrated by her.

favorite book: to quote lizzie olsen i don't read benedict. no but seriously i need to read more books/audiobooks instead of just podcasts and fic... the last book i loved (even better in audio form w the author's beautiful irish accent) is out of love by hazel hayes. her new book is out but not on audio on the library so i need to convince myself to buy it
do you have any funko pops? no but i have been tempted they are very cute
do you play any instruments? played piano as a kid but it didn't really stick, played recorder and clarinet in school and i probably still could if i wanted to? started guitar after and definitely still could if i wanted to but im almost exclusively a chords girl. also i never learned to read music i got by for 3 years of middle school band (even made it to second chair clarinet for a bit) playing by ear...... i think so often about my high school guitar class when i had to ask my group (including cooper who ive mentioned had a crush on me) to tell me what chords the sheet music said for our performance near the end of the year... and now im thinking about the time i drove a group of our friends to the park after an exam and i had to have cooper fill up my car at the gas station bc i had been a licensed driver for a month but it had never come up somehow fjsksksj truly insane considering my parents' car tht i was driving then is Not fuel efficient
do you have any pets? no i've always wanted a cat but i fear i don't want a chaotic little guy in my house there's enough chaos in and around me :(
do you read or write fan fiction? i read so much and i haven't written but technically i do have three wild ideas all of which i've mentioned in tags and am interested lately it's hard to even read fic with my constant headaches so.... open to being encouraged to try though i do love my silly little ideas...
what songs have you had on repeat recently? divorce by housewife (and that whole ep), who's afraid of little old me by taylor swift (ginger's wicked fic inspired me yesterday), and popular from wicked (movie version) but i haven't ended to actually play it because it's just in my head 24/7
tagging whoever wants to do this plus the wonderful ginger @redheadedbrunette

Christmas in Australia is more fun than others might think. Granted, you e never spent a Christmas outside of your home, so your opinion might be a bit biased. With living in the Southern Hemisphere came scorching Christmases. No snow, bright sun, scorching rays, high waves, and great food. It’s always hot in summer, but every year your family buys a portion of the beach so you can have a private party.
Your entire family comes from both sides. There are so many kids, lots of aunts and uncles, and all four of your grandparents. Each Christmas is a time to remember, but the only thing that makes this holiday better than all the rest is that your beautiful girlfriend, Elizabeth Olsen, is joining you. It’s your first Christmas with her since dating, and she only said yes to coming because her older sisters are having some big fashion thing that her parents wanted to go to.
It’s really their loss since spending time with her is always a good time in your book. You thought having her over with so many of your family members would be nerve racking, but she’s met most of them before. Back when you and Elizabeth were starring in your very own movie. They came to set to give good graces, and they immediately fell in love with her. While you weren’t nervous, she was. She’s never even been to Australia, much less an Australian Christmas despite being great friends with the Hemsworths.
It’s actually how you two met. There was a press conference for one of the bigger Marvel movies, and the only cast members who could make it last minute was Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., and Elizabeth. The press conference was held in New York, and it just so happened to be the same week as one of your interviews there. Since you’re well known for your movies, it wasn’t a shock to meet some of the cast for the Marvel movies. You don’t believe in love at first sight? but you and Elizabeth came damn close to it.
For that very short week of nonstop interviews, you tried to spend as much time with her as possible before you went to London for another interview. After you two parted ways, you stayed in contact by text, facetime, email, and any other forms of communication. She was so captivating, and you hated being away from her even for one second.
At the start of your relationship, you learned that she’s never been to Australia in her life even if she wanted to go. Since Christmas is truly the best time for Australia, you promised her you’d make her go. There is no snow, no cold weather, the air conditioning needs to be blasted, but it’s so much fun to spend it in the sun.
The private section of the beach your dad rented is in full gear. The small children and preteens splash and have fun in the ocean. There are a couple of adults in the water to make sure everything is okay with the much smaller children. Your big and beefy uncles are having a sandcastle building contest. These are normally boring because kids don’t know how to make real sandcastles, but your uncles make a big deal out of it. They can make the castles as high as you, and you’re over five feet tall.
Your parents are tending to the barbeque grill as your dad does all the cooking and your mom tells him how good he’s doing. If she cooked, then you’re sure to land in the hospital. Your grandparents are relaxing under the big umbrella they requested you bring. They can’t handle too much sun, and if they are in it for too long, then they’ll get a really nasty sunburn that’s sure to put them in the hospital. You and Elizabeth are hanging with your parents since they’re hogging all of her time.
“So, Elizabeth, how’s your family? Why aren’t you with them?” your dad asks as he flips the fish.
He always makes the best seafood this time of year.
“James! Be polite!” your mother scolds him.
“It’s fine,” Elizabeth smiles and waves her off. “My sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley have some fashion things that my parents wanted to go to. I don’t have any children, and God forbid my sisters so we all agreed to spend New Year’s together.”
“Well, you’re always welcomed here,” your mother smiles warmly.
Your dad finishes cooking the food, and the whole family gathers together at the tables. Your dad’s food gets praises from all ages, but since you’ve had his halibut a thousand times, you and Elizabeth decide to take a stroll along the shore to get away from everyone else. It’s nice to spend time with your family, but you want some private time with her.
“How do you like Christmas here so far?”
“It’s fun. I’ve never had a Christmas where it wasn’t snowing, but I quite like it. It’s refreshing.”
“You know, I’ve never seen snow before.”
“Are you serious? It snows here. Your family doesn’t go to the mountains during that time?”
“No, never. We just never have the time during that time. Plus, I’m usually away doing another movie or interview.”
“That settles it then. Next year, you’re spending Christmas with my family. I’m sure your parents wouldn’t mind. Right?”
“I’m sure they wouldn’t mind if I spend New Year’s with them. It would be nice to get away from the sunshine and heat at least for one holiday,” you chuckle.
“You’re going to have so much fun. Snow is the best thing to play with.”
“How do you play with snow?”
“Y/N, you don’t know what you’re missing,” she grins. “You can make snow angels and snowmen. You can have snowball fights, go sledding, skiing, and snowboarding. The best thing is to make snow forts. It gets very cold easily, but making it is just as fun as spending a few minutes inside.”
“Now I’m excited,” you giggle.
“You should be. But for right now, we should get back to your parents. They’re calling us over.”
It’s going to be an adventure to experience a Christmas without the high waves, hot sun, and the sizzling fish your dad makes.
You’ve never experienced weather like this before. From where you live, the coldest it’s ever gotten reached 10 degrees Celsius or 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Elizabeth’s family is originally from Minnesota, so she went back there despite living in Los Angeles. Your family was understanding when you told them you were going to be with your girlfriend and her family for Christmas since all of her family has yet to meet you. It’s only fair since she went with you last year.
To say you were shocked is an understatement. Not only does the cold put you in your fucking place, but an American Christmas is so much different than you expected. For one, they eat turkey, drink eggnog, make cookies, and have s’mores. There are other differences, but those are the ones you’re noticing right off the bat. You guess you could have turkey back home, but it wouldn’t be Christmas without your dad’s fish. It’s a nice change, but there’s nothing like home.
“So, Y/N, so I hear it’s your first time here?” Elizabeth’s mom, Jarnett, says.
“I’ve been in the States before, yes, but never a Christmas here you chuckle. “I thought it was going to be snowing.”
“Oh, it will, darling. Just give it some time. By tomorrow morning, this place is going to look like a wonderland!”
“Are you warm enough?” David, her dad, asks as he tends to the fireplace.
You’re wearing so many layers underneath your very thick jacket. It’s never been this cold back home, so you brought every warm clothing you owned.
“I’ll manage. You know, it doesn’t get this cold where I live.”
“What is Christmas like for you? It’s summer when it happens right?” Jarnett wonders.
“Yeah, is so much fun. I really like to surf with my brothers, my whole family plays on the beach, and I can’t forget Boxing day.”
“What’s that?” David asks.
“We don’t get that here,” Elizabeth explains.
“Oh, that’s unfortunate. Boxing day is a day to give back to the less fortunate. Churches love to collect leftover food, money, and other things in boxes which is then handed to the poor. It’s also a time to volunteer to these places. It really helps bring us all together so that everyone can have a good Christmas.”
“That sounds wonderful!”
“Yeah, I don’t know why the States doesn’t do this. Canada, the UK, and we do it,” you shrug.
It’s nice to share your Christmas traditions even though it may sound weird to them. They are kind enough to let you be a part of this special holiday, and it’s only fair you treat your countries traditions the same way. This Christmas is looking out to be one for the books already.
And it hasn’t even snowed yet.
“Y/N, wake up!” Elizabeth whispers and shakes your shoulders.
“What?” you grumble sleepily.
“Come on, get up. Out on something warm. I want you to see this. It’s snowing!”
That was enough to get you out of bed because you were so excited to see snow when you first arrived. You hastily throw on a warm jacket and follow Elizabeth to the front door. You refrain from looking through the windows because you wanted to see snow in all its glory. She opens the front door and you just have enough energy to gasp.
Everything—the cars, houses, trees, bushes, street, and everything else in between—is all covered with freak snow. It's like a giant laid a big white blanket over everything. There’s still snow falling from the sky, so you just run outside in childlike excitement. Elizabeth watches as you tilt your head back and stick out your tongue to try and catch the falling snowflakes. It’s refreshing to watch someone who's never seen snow below. She gets to experience it through your eyes.
“This snow is so fluffy! It’s surprisingly not cold!” you exclaim.
“Yeah, is warmer when it snows because the air is losing moisture. It’s a lot drier so it’s warmer.”
“I love snow!” you shout and run into a small pile that’s been growing overnight.
Elizabeth laughs and joins in on the fun. She can’t imagine experiencing this with anyone other than you. This is what makes Christmas special.
It’s not where you have it, is the people you spend it with.
