I am once again feeling the strong urge to emigrate to Europe.

I won't, I definitely don't have the resources and, realistically, I absolute hate the idea of such a drastic change, including moving just within my own city. And the thought of leaving all my friends and connections here is terrifying!!!

But sometimes I watch cycling races with my dad, and I see all the really cool old European buildings, and think "is it too much to ask to live in a tiny apartment in a neat old building, in a place that's halfway walkable, where people give more than half a fuck about live theater???"

"Elise!" Corrin is already laughing as she opens her arms to catch the girl, interrupted only by the mmph sound she makes on impact. One might assume based upon her size or the frills on her gown that Elise's grip could hardly be anything less dainty than herself.

And one, were they to make such an assumption, would be terribly mistaken. Not that Corrin much minds being suffocated in her little sister's grasp, as she squeezes back tenfold.

"I missed you too," she plants a kiss to the other's temple, hardly able to stifle her own smile long enough for even that. "It's way too quiet at home without you around."

And though the demand is made childishly, with what she can only imagine to be a pout pressed against the fabric of her dress, she feels herself hold just that much tighter.

"Don't worry," laughter is still warm in her voice, but it has softened into something more sincere, "I'm not going anywhere."
