With the recent additions to the 5G grid here, everytime I pass close enough to a cell tower I get hit with this massive disorientation and vertigo, it's really hard to keep straight and I have to concentrate real hard to make it pass the cell tower. It really makes you feel alive when you're going 80mph on a hwy and have to try and not wreck into someone or something when the cell towers hit you. Oh well, you gotta play the hand you're dealt, right?

French court rules against the forced installation of smart meters
The Lyon Administrative Court issued a landmark decision in February 2025, requiring Enedis to remove a Linky [smart] meter installed against a private individual’s wishes. This ruling marks a major turning point in the years-long standoff between some citizens and the French electricity grid manager. Pierre Cascina, a resident of the Loire region, won his case after demonstrating a significant…

Lorch is being confusing about writing conventions again.
[Lily's Post]
Tumblr media
Just because people tend to use villain and antagonist interchangeably doesn't mean they mean the same thing in a literary sense. So in order to demonstrate a protagonist can be a villain, that an antagonist isn't necessarily a villain and a villain can have a valid point lets go to the Breaking Bad universe!
Walter White
Tumblr media
Villain. Protagonist. There you go.
Everything bad that happens to Walter after his cancer diagnosis is the consequence of his own decision making. He doesn't have a good motive. He keeps telling himself "I'm doing this for my family" but it's really for his own ego. An ego that grows and grows out of control as he fails upwards through the drug trade only to have it all justifiably come crashing down on him in the end. He's bitter, angry, full of unwarranted self-importance and only accomplishes ruining the lives of his family and everyone around him before his death.
Chuck McGill
Tumblr media
Here's a complex antagonist for you. I was impressed when I first watched Better Call Saul that they managed to make a even pettier narcissistic manbaby than Walter White. But he's also more nuanced than Walter.
Chuck is a highly respected lawyer in his field. He's suffering from electromagnetic hypersensitivity, a psychosomatic mental illness that is borne of his own controlling nature and pride. It is real to him and he's really suffering from the effects of it. He has always resented his brother Jimmy (Saul) for being the more personable, charismatic brother. He liked when Jimmy was just a burnout loser running schemes and getting arrested for public indecency because he at least had his success and his devotion to the law over him. But when Jimmy decides to get his life together by following in Chuck's footsteps? Chuck gaslights him, sabotages him, does all this underhanded shit while shaming Jimmy for doing the same.
But was he wrong about Jimmy not being able to resist falling into his baser instincts to circumvent the rules? Would Jimmy had gotten as bad as he did if Chuck had just supported him, or was this always going to be in him?
Gustavo Fring
Tumblr media
The villain with a point.
Gay icon who played a 20 year long game to murder the Salamanca clan and the cartel leaders to avenge his boyfriend. Legend.
Gus is unequivocally a villain. He has devoted his entire life to this one thing and doesn't give a shit about anything else. His street dealers can kill kids for all he cares, he'll slit a minion's throat to intimidate Walter, he'll threaten Nacho's dad to keep him in line as a forced double agent. But he's also taking out dangerous criminals. He also runs a legitimate restaurant business as a front for his drug empire, takes pride in the food quality and treats his employees there well.
I think Lorch of all people would definitely argue that Gus is pretty damn justified to desire revenge when Hector shot his lover through the brain right in front of him. Have fun with that one, asshole.
Bonus round!
Mike Ehrmantraut
Tumblr media
How the FUCK do you even classify best girl Mike as a character? He was unplanned, added to the show as a fluke, a stand-in character when Bob Odenkirk wasn't available to film, and became one of the most fascinating, well-written characters across both shows.
Is he an antagonist? A protagonist? A hero? A villain? He's been all of these things at various times.
youtube
Tumblr media
To Lily "has a point" only has to be "expresses a correct or valid idea" so there you are. Chuck and Gus both have valid points. Walter doesn't. And Mike is a medley of I don't even know what the fuck.

does he have ocd?
Tumblr media
submit your own characters here to be featured!
reason: He canonically experiences intense delusions that interfere with his life, it's just never specified what causes them. He believes he is allergic to electricity (Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity), he's so certain of this that he has no power in his house. He keeps his food in a cooler, cooks on a camper stove, and lights his home using gas lanterns
His brother is his main caretaker, but naturally uses electronics in his own day to day life. So when he visits, there is a ritual Chuck expects him to follow. Leave all electronic devices in the mailbox, and then touch the metal fence outside the house before entering. Chuck refers to this as 'grounding yourself'

I’ve just got to ask; how and why are Dojo and Wuya even able to sense Shen Gong Wu? That kind of thing implies that they both possess some sort of deep connection to the mystic treasures in some way
I think that when the new Shen Gong Wu awaken, it lets out a burst of energy from the previously repressed Wu sudden bursting freer from the constraints Dashi put on them when he hid them.
A very powerful disturbance in the force, so to speak. It especially stands out since the world is far less magical now than it was back in Dashi's day.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dojo's hypersensitivity (and allergies) to the Wu's bursts of energy might be related to his connection with Dashi and the Wu. It's probably related to his "condition" that pops up every 1500 years, too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But I think Wuya's is just because she's got keen senses for these things. Even without a physical body. Especially without a physical body; it seems to affect her more when she's a ghost, like this is the one thing that can jolt her even when she's incorporeal.
Chase has also demonstrated that he can feel right before a Wu is about to awaken and knows which one it will be, like when he told Omi the Tinabi wings were about to awaken. So whatever they're picking up can apparently be preemptively sensed before the big burst, too. It's a skill that can be acquired and honed.
Tumblr media
And the fact that Jack was able to built a device that can detect awakening Wu even better than Wuya herself is able to suggests that there is something physical and tangible that can be picked up, like radio waves or radiation or an electromagnetic field.

Do You Know This (non-canon) Autistic Character?
Tumblr media
Propaganda:
He seems to have a special interest in the law, to the point that he announces details like the year the Magna Carta was signed as if it's a common, well-known reference point. He has extreme difficulty letting things when they go against his sense of what's right. While he excels academically and professionally, he resents his brother Jimmy for having the social skills in the family, both out of envy and because he feels like Jimmy uses his charisma to get away with all his bad behavior.
His Electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) is canonically psychosomatic, but its depiction in the show resembles several different conditions, one being the way some autistic people are able to hear the sound of electric devices running.

Hunter x Hunter: En
so why does en take so many different forms. cant we just keep it as one thing and be done with it /j
anyway here's my personal headcanons for a bunch of characters that i think could be capable of using en but haven't shown it yet/dont know how to use it yet.
killua - static cloud. idk how to explain it other than an electromagnetic field. it comes out of him in rings that you could hypothetically slip between but they're hypersensitive, if you breathe on it you get detected INSTANTLY.
feitan - swords. i think bro becomes a sea urchin. meaning you can be proverbially shanked by his en. which i think is just very funny
bisky - bubbles. very basic but i think her en is very clean cut and a perfect sphere that she can branch off into smaller floating bubbles if needed. kinda like those weird shapes you get out of bubble wands if you wiggle them fast enough
leorio - regular sphere but each indicator is like the wavy lines from a pulse monitor. bcs i imagine he'd only use it while doing like field nursing, searching for survivors. so he'd associate activity with a heartbeat.
chrollo - a sun. like the symbol sun. like a sphere but there are spinning appendages that wave like the wobbly rays of a cartoonish sun.
more at five (idk these are just ones that showed up in my brain unannounced)

i think its fucked up how there are particular delusions that are so common that entire communities and echo chambers can form around them. like r/gangstalking and shit. its one thing to believe youre being stalked and the police and government wont do anything about it for unknown mysterious reasons its another to be led to believe this is happening to thousands of people worldwide with no clear connection between them. its one thing to believe your body is infested with bugs and doctors are denying it and refusing you treatment for unknown mysterious reasons its another to believe this is happening to thousands of people who are being similarly ignored. electromagnetic hypersensitivity is not a delusion but it also creates a similar echo chamber. Also people sell worthless bullshit to profit off of people who've diagnosed themselves with EHS and though i've not looked into it necessarily i'll hazard a guess that there are plenty of "alternative medicines" that profit off of people with delusional parasitosis and that those who deal in self defense and home security aren't complaining about the few extra bucks they make off of "gangstalking victims". And really idk what the conclusion here is. like idk what are you supposed to do. track down and institutionalize every member of r/gangstalking? sorry to say but thats fucked up you cant do that

I was just able to go in an area that is heavily saturated in EMFs that would normally trigger intense anxiety and the feeling of being on the verge of a heart attack, to now only experiencing a slight pressure in my head. Shungite really works for people that are hypersensitive to EMFs. For the first time in a very long time I actually feel like I have a future. I still need to test it in a big city, but so far it's working in areas I was no longer able to go.

Victorian Petition to allow disabling of remote function of electricity smart meters
Current regulations in Victoria do not allow for the disabling of the remote function of electricity smart meters. The fact remains that Victorians are subjected to among the harshest smart meter policies in Australia.  Elsewhere, customers have the right to refuse a meter with wireless communications.  In other Australian jurisdictions, even if a smart meter has already been installed, customers…

The Sun is Spitting Fireballs... Is it Affecting You?
Some definitions to get us started. Corona- the sun’s atmosphere Solar Flare– bursts of electromagnetic radiation that travel at the speed of light, reaching Earth in just over 8 minutes. Coronal Mass Ejection– are large expulsions of plasma and magnetic field from the sun’s atmosphere a result of the twisting and realignment of the sun’s magnetic field, known as magnetic reconnection,…

What would Peter do if darling has electromagnetic hypersensitivity?
[What? *googling*]
Electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS), known in the past as "Microwave syndrome", is a clinical syndrome characterized by the presence of a wide spectrum of non-specific multiple organ symptoms, typically including central nervous system symptoms, that occur following the patient's acute or chronic exposure to electromagnetic fields in the environment or in occupational settings.
[...The hell? I guess that is more about all the electronics in the world and not about the natural electromagnetic field the Earth has. Well...Peter lives out in the woods so that's got to be a good thing. Honestly, this is super specific and the first time I've heard of this.]
