Nunca me siento suficiente

Aunque este de frente, pidiendo una cita y recibiendo una afirmación, no me lo creo. 

E internamente me hago chiquita, más pequeña de lo que nunca fui y dejo que la oportunidad se escape, dejo que se escurra de entre mis dedos como arena. Despacio, sin control y hasta desaparecer. Entonces, la oportunidad que tanto había estado buscando, nunca vuelve a regresar. 

Y me arrepiento y pienso en los hubiera. Y duele. 

He arrastrado a lo largo del tiempo la inseguridad de pensar que nunca soy suficiente, pero lo soy, soy suficiente. 

Soy suficiente desde que he aguantado la respiración mientras me impulso a lo largo de toda la alberca de 25 m y soy suficiente desde que con todo el miedo del mundo, he corrido por la arena hasta adentrarme en el mar para cruzar toda una travesía de 5 km. No una vez, si no hasta lograr alcanzar tiempos Nacionales. Aferrada a la profundidad de lo desconocido, encantada con la frialdad de las corrientes y asustada de que algo aparezca desde el fondo del mar. 

Soy suficiente desde que he superado una depresión que piensa mantenerse ahogando mi mente, desde que me he agarrado de los pantalones para terminar la preparatoria y cursar una carrera dirigida a varones. Desde que, a pesar de querer llorar todo el tiempo mientras ponía mi mejor cara en medio de una convivencia plenamente misógina, me he quedado y he aguantado, lo he logrado. Soy suficiente desde que sigo insistiendo de ir en contra de la corriente social, de tener sueños que superan cualquier estigma creada a lo largo de los siglos.

De seguir soñando. 

Soy suficiente, todos somos suficiente con todo lo que hemos enfrentado a lo largo de nuestra vida. Porque para ustedes podría ser poco, pero para mi es el infinito y para mi podría ser poco, pero para ustedes debe ser inmenso. 

Así que, nunca y aunque yo no logre seguir mis propias palabras; NUNCA PIENSEN QUE NO SON LO SUFICIENTE y tomen esa oportunidad, hagan planes, pidan sus deseos, abracen sin miedo. No tengan miedo a recibir lo que está llegando a sus vidas.

Just drop here to say 😃 Spanish is one of the easiest languages. I'm saying it as someone who's bad at languages and did good research about stuff about them (+ I studied German for a while). And two years I had (and will have for two more) Spanish classes (man, I suck at it but I suck at languages in general so 🤷‍♀️). The REAL hard part of Spanish is the words because it's the language with most synonymous in the world. The grammar maybe and especially reading are a LOT easier than English
