Tal vez muchos no recuerden esta serie, porque de hecho estuvo disponible muy limitadamente en Latinoamérica. "Star Fleet", como fue bautizada en Reino Unido, era una serie de televisión de 1980 del tipo de "marionetas", muy similar a las obras de de Gerry Anderson (Capitán Marte, Capitán Escarlata, Thunderbirds etc.). Pero en este caso, estaba producido en Japón y fue creada por el artista de manga Go Nagai. Fue producida Cosmo Productions y Jin Productions. Su nombre verdadero en Japón fue X Bomber (Ｘボンバー, Ekkusu Bonbā).

La gran curiosidad fue que en la versión adaptada en el Reino Unido, el tema musical de la serie era interpretado por Brian May y Eddie Van Halen. De hecho, la canción formó parte del "Star Fleet Project", un proyecto de Brian May que resultó en un álbum con el mismo nombre, lanzado como el trabajo de "Brian May + Friends", compuesto por May, el guitarrista Eddie Van Halen, el baterista Alan Gratzer (de REO Speedwagon), Phil Chen (bajista de sesión que tocó con Jeff Beck y Rod Stewart) y Fred. Cool! I don't think I have it in me to learn another language right now, but these are definitely useful to know.

I quite like "X". I've actually seen that in some Japanese non-binary circles (possibly because "non-binary" is "X-gender" in Japanese).

what are your thoughts on gender neutral german neopronouns? like, which ones exist and are commonly used? ive been learning german for some time, before i realized i was nonbinary, and realized that now i don't really know how to refer to myself

A very good question! I personally use a germanised version of they/them/theirs, called dey/deren/dem, but I know a few people who use sier (a mix of sie and er), x or xies/xier, which is like sier but with an x in front.

I can give you some examples:

Er hat sein Mäppchen vergessen. Ich bringe es ihm morgen mit.

Sie hat ihr Mäppchen vergessen. Ich bringe es ihr morgen mit.

Dey hat deren Mäppchen vergessen. Ich bringe es dem morgen mit.

Sier hat siesen Mäppchen vergessen. Ich bringe es siehm morgen mit.

X hat x's Mäppchen vergessen. Ich bringe es x morgen mit.

Xier hat xies Mäppchen vergessen. Ich bringe es xiem morgen mit.

I hope this helpded a bit. If you want I can send you the practice sheets I made for dey/deren when I came out. My parents and coworkers practiced with them and they barely make mistakes these days.
