It is Wednesday! And I have a wip! You know what that means! 

This is for my latest Codywan fic, currently going by the title “platonic sleeping.” It is...a continuation of one of the fics I wrote for “only one bed” bingo, as well. No warnings apply!

Cody was strapping his armor back on when Bones reached out, took his chestplate out of his hands, and said, “I need to talk to you, Commander.”

Cody grimaced. He’d, technically, skipped his med-check. But he hadn’t taken any serious injuries on the campaign and getting clean had seemed like a better use of his time. He started, “I’ll visit the medbay later, I just--”

“Don’t strain yourself trying to lie to me right now,” Bones said, the medic’s expression supremely unimpressed. “I’ve brought what I need to check you over here. But while I’m doing that, we need to discuss the General.”

Cody froze, just for a moment, before he made his shoulders relax. He asked, obediently holding out an arm for Bones to check his blood pressure, “What about him?”

Bone frowned and made a note on the pad he’d set on the bench. He said, still looking over at the pad, “Heard you shared a tent, back on Bhyilk.”

Cody felt a trickle of cold down his back. “Only for warmth. Cold weather--”

aaaaaand peter’s highlights from here come the monkees (aka peter talks about davy):

he gets very fixated throughout the episode on the continuity issue with mike’s guitars (how it keeps changing from the black to the blonde gretsch) 😂

the line the father delivers -> “it’s ONE AM!” -> was something davy and him found particularly hilarious and it set them off and they kept going it’s the ONE AM NEWWWWS

he jokes that the reason they cast davy was because he was the only one out of millions of actors who could make sparkles in his eyes

“there’s a still photo of me from here smoking”-> talking about the amusement park scene

“i was too scared to bring any pot eheheheeheheheh so i did without for ten days solid” 💀

“they told davy don’t kiss with your mouth open and he did anyways eheheheheheeh”

the next scene when davy is kissing the love interest -> “open mouth!” kiss kiss kiss kiss <- he fucking makes the stupid kissing noises bRO 💀

peter says he was ferociously self conscious and felt that it showed, he also says he thought he was wooden from start to finish 😢

peter explains that in-between filming (he says this during the ping pong scene so i’m assuming this takes place then) they decided to have an impromptu jam session. according to peter they had never jammed before, and he had JUST taught micky basic drums the night before, but they started to jam and do some johnny b. goode songs and people got up and danced and really loved it. he says in that moment he knew that they had something and had had it from the start

peter talks about his audition again, but he says during his cattle call davy walked in “cocky as a son of a bitch” and then starts laughing very fondly

says mike was at his peak during his screen test and then proceeds to talk about davy for most of mike’s screen test 😂. he says that he doesn’t believe that davy had been used to his full potential prior to the monkees tv show

Literally I haven't sent myself the screenshot. But fr my head hasn't stopped buzzing since I replayed Downtown. Because I always finish the district, but I never do the optional missions. And in Downtown one of those are bugging the areas to reveal where Blackmail Drops are.

And my brain has been going FAST since seeing there is one politician anxious to find information on John. Like what does that mean??? Who's made that. Did the Marcanos actually look into it for him?? Like what do they know about John now?

ALSO— why can't Lincoln tell John? Like it's little things like that kinda bother me about this game. Like I feel like that would be important to tell John? Like the game put that in and then should be able to register its that one? And like....I know the game is so against it, lmao but, they could have talked over radio for that if they didn't think it was worth it for the player to go all the way back to John to tell him.

But eheheheeheheheh yeah I just buzz whenever I remember this.
