[A glimpse into Mix's past. Take a look?]

There's a young girl and an Eevee, they are both in a cafe, sitting in a table. The young girl is doing her homework as her Eevee looks curiously. A Charizard in a waiter's uniform serve them waffles and hot cocoa.

"Ah, thank you Charizard." The girl says. "Charizard!" Replied the Charizard before serving another person's order.

The girl then took a bite of her waffles, then went back to doing her homework. "What is Kanto's regional bird? A. The Pidgey line, B. The Doduo line, C. The Spearow line, D. The Farfetch'd line." The young girl read the question aloud. "I think it's A." The girl mumbled, writing into her homework.

"Eevui!" Eevee said. "Do you want some of the waffles Eevee?" The girl asked. "Eevui! Vee! Eevee!" Eevee cheered. "Alright, you can have some." The Eevee happily ate her given share of waffles.

"Vee! Eevee! Eevui!" The Eevee was delighted, the waffles tasted great. "Maybe we should come back to this cafe again. Hmm. Hey Eevee. I have an idea."

"Eevui?" The Eevee looked at the girl with curiosity. "What if we made our own cafe together? Just like this one! It's a good idea, right?"

"Veevee! Evui!" Eevee agreed. "I knew you'd understand! One day, we'll run our very own cool cafe together!" The girl said as she patted Eevee's head.

"Eevui!" Eevee looked at the girl with cute baby doll eyes.

Huh. That memory. That was from a long time ago. Time sure flies by.

This girl was rambling. About Pokemon! Sylvia knew well about how Pikachu's chubby form didn't last long before it became the official mascot-- a chance happening since Ash happened to start his journey with a Pikachu instead of a traditional Kanto starter-- but she'd heard rumors about how the original mascot for Pokemon was intended to be Clefairy. Chansey was cute, too, though, and it made its role as a caretaker well-known when it was placed as Nurse Joy's assistant in Pokemon Centers for four generations straight.

"Tomy...? I've never heard of that. Then again, there's probably a lot I haven't heard about, since I'm in Japan now... Oh, but now there are two mascots for Pokemon, aren't there? Pikachu and Eevui. Heh, you think they'll make Lizardon a mascot, too? They've made so much content of it-- it's a very popular Pokemon." Sylvia didn't know all the names of certain Pokemon in Japanese, but she did know at least a couple. Fushigidane, Lizardon, the comically named Blacky which was actually Umbreon...

"Gah! R-right! Names! I-it's nice to meet you, Sakura-san! My name is Reviar Sylvia. I know my first name is hard to pronounce, so try not to worry about it. I, um... I'm a huge Pokemon fan. Actually, I'm from the United States, s-so... I was hoping to get some Japan-exclusive items while I was here. Pokemon merch is so boring and dull in the US..."

"But here, they have all sorts of unique art, and cute things that aren't obtainable anywhere else! The straps, fans, keychains, stickers, books, stuffed toys... It doesn't matter what it is, because they all look amazing and unique! I'm a bit of an artist myself, so I can't help feeling overjoyed seeing things like this. I can use them as art reference, or I can just admire their beauty and splendor-- the same goes for trading cards, and figurines! Personally, I'm a Sinnoh bias, and--"

"Ack! Sorry... I got distracted... I-I was also just... l-looking at the Lizardon. Did you wanna look at it first? I-I'll get out of your way..."

"N-No, I was just uh, gonna look at it." It took her a moment to realize that Lizardon had been referred to by its western name, but she was still feeling a bit anxious from that, and she had to take a moment to calm herself down. It was just a brief bru. sh Futaba, they seemed to be just as nervous and anxious as she was. No reason to get so worked up.

"From what I can tell, these are minifigures from gen 1, from Tomy." Futaba spoke up after she managed to get herself calmed down enough to speak normally again. "Because Chubby Pikachu was really only a thing in early anime and gen 1 before they changed it to the slim version that we all know and love. It was before they really had a mascot for the series."

She remembered reading about how they had multiple possible mascots for the series. Eevee was one of them because of the whole evolution aspect that they were wanting to push for it. There was even a chance that Chancy was going to be a mascot as well. Early Pocket Monsters was a combination of them finding their identity and other things.

"These are actually quite rare figures, so I'm surprised they are just standing out here." She was sounding a lot more confident. "O-Oh! Um, I haven't even introduced myself yet. I do that all the time." She easily got distracted from doing the simple social things like introductions. She still had some social interaction issues to deal with. "I'm Sakura, Futaba Sakura. It's nice to meet you, h-heh."

Question, is Eevui and Eifie the same mon? Ever since Eevui's introduction i've been wondering if he is supposed to be Eifie it not

If they are different mons, is Eevui gonna be deleted from box31?

Eevui and Eifie are the same pokemon.

Eevui and Eifie are Eevee and Espeon in Japanese.

To Ash, Goh and Chloe,

Firstly for Ash, if you had to put pokemon battles on hold for a few months, would you choose contests or research to pass the time?

You’re open to say a third option like “just lounge around with my pokemon” if neither of the options appeal to you

Ash: Research! Really, half the time we end up battling something anyway, so it works out :)

Every region has some professor in need of a plucky ten year-old to help them, right? I'm sure I'll have lots to do.

Goh: I choose contests, I never got the chance to do any and I don't think it's fair that only Chloe did 😫

I tried entering a pokémon showcase once, actually. Didn't work out because Kalos is sexist and won't let boys enter :\ But I can always do contests. I'll captivate the world with my beauty that transcends gender!

...Oh, and I'm sure my Pokémon will enjoy them, too.

Chloe: I need to focus on my schoolwork, my average has lowered ever since I started going on these research trips 😔 so that's what I'd be doing

As for any hobbies, I think battling is a lot less time-consuming than entering contests, and less stressful, too... and yet, can I really put Eevee in harm's way like that?
