everyone tells you how awful it is, but you really don't realize just how unfathomably awful it is looking for any kind of writing job that isn't writing sludge online. the amount of listings i have seen asking for people to write shit so that it can be fed into AI or asking for humans to edit AI garbage is frankly embarrassing and a little soul crushing. every other job is like just content farms that pay nothing or require you to grind out shit every minute. others require *years* of experience in senior positions or are just like working for the worst people on the planet. and most of them are somehow never near where you are.
