SO SORRY THIS ANSWER TOOK FOREVER ANON

Note: The prologue by itself is free, the 1st Quest Pack is $5, and the rest of the packs are $8. If anyone wants to know the prices in USD, then hopefully that’ll help ya out! Also the game after the first QP is untranslated, so switch to Japanese if you wanna progress further in the game. Don’t be like me and walk around in circles for ~2 hours and scrolling the Japanese Wiki to find answers. XD

As For Summaries, it might be a tad difficult to keep up with bc it requires a bit more brainpower than my usual rambles (blame my stage management class for being tough). I’ll try to do my best!

Gonna use my memory for this one ;3 . So far, in the 2nd QP, things start off with:

- Sol, Orgus, and Yuji all go to celebrate at the King’s Castle, despite being cautious about the Progenitor summoning a New Demon King. King Claus encourages them to celebrate their current victory before moving ahead with more investigation. When the party happens, You can choose to see Orgus, Sol, Gordon, and/or Claus. I talked to all of ‘em

- Orgus: Yuji, Eavesdropper Extraordinaire, overhears Claus talking to Orgus. It’s understood that he’s the last surviving one of the Royal Family, but he’s currently chosen to stick beside Yuji (I think there’s an implication that Orgus is expected to ascend the throne as the last surviving member). Claus (IIRC) is going to send men to help refugees from Valinor and states that there’s much work for those who survived this catastrophe. When they’re done talking, Yuji and Orgus talk for a little, then Orgus says he wants to come to Yuji’s room at night and to get ready. Yuji’s flustered but pretty excited.

- Sol: Yuji also overhears Sol’s convo with Claus about how he seems to be one of the few surviving monks left of The Church, but Claus offers to help make a search party for any scant survivors like Sol. When Yuji gets to talk with Sol, it eventually leads down the same way it does with (aka getting ready for night time).

- Gordon: Gordon and Claus are talking about something, but the Google translation has been incredibly difficult to understand. Yuji notices that Claus seems to be acquainted with Gordon, but Gordon doesn’t want to reveal his whole past just yet.

- Claus: The king wants to reward Yuji, so you get to choose between Claus, A Soldier, or Declining The Reward. I chose Claus bc I like gilfussy. Similar plans for nighttime ensue.

- After talking to everyone, a surprise guest arrives at the party, and it seems to be Bishop Meteor (Sol’s adoptive father who raised him after his family died).  Claus and Sol are very excited, but when the party’s finally over… well… shit hits the fan.

- Meteor asks to meet Sol in his bedroom at night. Meteor asks him to remove his clothes (specifically making sure that he’s vulnerable)[SIDE NOTE: IT IS VERY FUNNY IF YOU ALREADY HAVE SOL WEARING THE SEA GOD’S CLOTHES SO HE JUST ENDS UP CHANGING INTO BEING MORE COVERED]. Yuji, the little voyeur, tries to listen in on the activities. It does sound suggestive at first till the screaming cues him in that it’s probably not something spicy. He finds Sol turning to stone, shocked at the scene before. Turns out Meteor is NOT on our side after all. Since Orgus was suspicious of him already at the party, he was prepared to show up in the case of conflict. Meteor summons some other guy. I don’t understand who he is yet but he looks Egyptian-inspired in design. It turns out Meteor targeted Sol first bc he would give him the most problems (aside from Yuji). The strange spell used to petrify Sol spreads to Orgus during the fight, so he holds off the enemies while Yuji makes an escape from the castle. As he makes a run for it, the entire castle becomes consumed by the curse, petrifying all who live within it.

- Not knowing what else to do, Yuji goes looking for advice from Gordon at the tavern. Gordon is shocked to hear everyone at the castle turned to stone, but it seems like he may be familiar with this specific curse, and its connection to the ‘Altar of the Heretics’. In their discussion, Yuji comes to the conclusion that Fafnir is likely one of the only people capable of helping cure everyone bc dragons are the only beings powerful enough in magic to stand up to the powerful curse (and Fafnir is powerful even by dragon standards).

- When Yuji heads to Fire Dragon Mountain, he’s wondering where Fafnir is, then suddenly the beat up dragon falls on him (in his human form). Shocked to see him in such a state, Yuji is wondering what could’ve happened before being immediately bombarded by undead, cursed skeletons. He’s able to hold them off for a bit and take a short break to check on Fafnir. When he wakes up, he seems to have some mild amnesia. He doesn’t remember what exactly put him in his current situation, but he can’t turn back into his dragon form at all. He’s in a much weaker state at the moment, and even his lizardmen seem to be petrified too. I believe this is also the part where he officially joins the party (as a fire mage). They eventually escape to an inn and rest there.

- [This the part I’m currently at] While at the inn, Yuji is tired from all the running and just wants to rest, while Fafnir wants him do his duties as a servant. In this case, that means helping him bathe (and change his clothes), because he feels filthy and sandy in his clothes. Since his usual lizardmen butlers are unavailable, Yuji will have to do.

- Yuji is surprised, but god is he thankful for the opportunity. After that, Fafnir says that he did a very good and thorough job. Yuji is very thankful to be alive lol

Author Ask Tag Game

A huge SORRY and thank you to @mjparkerwriting for tagging me in this waaaaay back in August (what the heck - how did this happen haha).

What is the main lesson of your story (e.g. kindness, diversity, anti-war), and why did you choose it?

That sometimes being a strong, independent woman isn't enough. Sometimes we can't succeed alone or even with the help of loyal friends. Sometimes it really does take structural, systemic change and that change doesn't happen in a single life time.

As for why I chose this theme... I didn't really. I started with a premise (princess runs away from arranged marriage and accidentally falls in love with guy she was betrothed to). When I turned that premise into a plot with stakes I decided to have something that pressured the protagonist to go back to her marriage. The thing I chose was needing to prevent a war. The theme just kind of emerged from the tension between her saving her people and not being trapped in a marriage she didn't want.

2. What did you use as inspiration for your worldbuilding (like real-life cultures, animals, famous media, websites, etc.)?

Southern England (loosely) in 1333 AD and some other cultures that would have been in contact with, bordering, or having diaspora in England (Wales, France, Breton, Al Andalusia, Persia, Byzantine Empire, Jewish diaspora, and like one thing from Scotland).

Other inspirations include a few Shakespeare comedies, how Tolkien uses English speech patterns to indicate social class, the Robin Hood myth, and Tennyson's poem "The Splendour Falls".

4. How many chapters is your story going to have?

Draft 2 had 15 chapters averaging between 3000-5000 words. I've already broken up one of those chapters in draft 3 and will probably break up more. So, at least 16? But I might split them all in half if I decide they are too many pages when I finally change the page size of my manuscript from standard word doc to book-sized. So maybe around 30?

6. When and why did you start writing?

The immersive daydreamer who loves to read to fandom to CinemaSins to film and tv show critique YouTube to writing advice YouTube to I'm gonna write my daydreams down so I can reread them for fun to I want to try my hand at a properly structured novel (but it's just for me) to dammit, I've put so much work in I want to polish this and publish it one day Pipeline is very, very real.

7. Do you have any words of encouragement for fellow writers of writeblr? What other writers on Tumblr do you follow?

You can edit a bad draft. It is so much easier to fix something than to make something from scratch. Your first draft is not an adequate reflection of your abilities as a writer - neither is your second, neither is your third. Asking for help is a skill, rewriting is a skill, workshopping is a skill, googling writing advice is a skill, taking a break is a skill. Your novel isn't your best work until it's done - feedback, and breaks, and months of writer's block and all. Push through. You're not a bad writer, or a good one for that matter, until there is a finished product to judge. I know looking at an unfinished draft riddled with problems can be demoralizing but you will find those problems and you will fix them. Just be patient.

(Although Both this and my writing blog have a Pinned Post about The Tags, but neither of those are fully linked, sorry) (I actually came onto tumblr today to try and work on that, but my time management and tumblr brain are a mess, so I don't do any of this very consistently, I know all my links are wrecked, sorry, I'm planning to work on that more soon.) For those of you who follow Ray and thus have seen the "Dfo panics when Ofa calls dibs early and Izuku manifests Black Whip while saving Bakugo from the slime villain on live TV" (hey, that looks like a pretty decent starter summary, actually, Thanks!) prompt and seen in the replies that I am working on it, I plan to put it in my Other Fandoms (#of) link section (when it's working) under One for Nine (#of9) tag. (No, these don't work yet, this is the first story even close to being ready to post, so the tag section for this isn't even public yet. Maybe next week)

SPN 1x06 “Skin”

Okay, I’m gonna try to type while I watch this time instead of forgetting this blog exists until the episode is almost over.

You can tell the footage for the previously on segment was saved on a VHS copy instead of the original film that the show was shot with because even in the HD iTunes version I have it looks low quality as fuck. And jumpy in the way that brings me back to my teens watching the WB all the damn time.

I love this song. WTF is this song. Shazam says “Good Deal” by Mommy and Daddy. I… have no comment, except that it sounds like everything I was listening to in college at the time this shit was airing.

Aaaaand not!Dean turns around to face the SWAT team after obviously torturing some woman. THAT is a cold open.

I wanna know what that car is in the background. It’s pretty. Maybe a convertible Impala? They have similar grills. This is not at all important.

Also, I love that with these higher definition versions of the episodes you can see that Sam’s email is lawboy and whatever dot com and that people in the fandom have started calling him Law Boy. It’s hilarious.

DEAN: Well, what exactly do you tell ‘em? You know, about where you’ve been, what you’ve been doin’?

SAM: I tell ‘em I’m on a road trip with my big brother. I tell ‘em I needed some time off after Jess.

DEAN: Oh, so you lie to ‘em.

Of course Sam made friends with a bunch of rich kids while he was at college in a desperate attempt to try to be normal.

REBECCA: Why? I mean, what could you do?

SAM: Well, me, not much. But Dean’s a cop. (DEAN laughs.)

DEAN: Detective, actually.

I love that Dean was like “how dare you call me that.”

Okay, after a bit of research, I totally want to take a day trip to Bisbee, Arizona, but it’s already in the 90s here in the desert and it’s not even May so that trip is going to have to wait until… winter or something. There is no way in hell I’m going deeper into the desert when the weather gets hotter.

It’s a historic mining town tourist trap looking place now which is exactly the kind of shit I love.

SAM: Bec, look, I know Zack didn’t do this. Now, we have to find a way to prove that he’s innocent.

I mean, not technically, technically you would 1) NOT FUCK WITH A MURDER INVESTIGATION YOU’RE NOT LEGALLY INVOLVED IN BECAUSE ANYTHING YOU FIND WOULD BE INADMISSABLE IN COURT 2) find evidence to provide a reasonable doubt for the jury that he did commit the crime. You know, like a lawyer would need to do, Law Boy.

DEAN: I just don’t think this is our kind of problem.

When I made my husband watch this show with me (he’s seen it all at least once now over the years) this is the recurring thing that drove him crazy.

You guys can’t even go in through the back door? Or shut the front door behind you? Really?

REBECCA: (tearfully) Well, there’s no sign of a break-in. They say that Emily let her attacker in.

Yeah, that doesn’t even really mean that she knew her attacker. Just that it was someone she let her guard down around or got in some other way. See: The Son of Sam and Nightstalker, etc.

Love the pinup magnet on the fridge. I’d throw shade at that, but I have a pinup magnet on my fridge too so… pot kettle and all that.

Okay, both people in the next couple are gorgeous.

And oh wow those special effects changing eyes… wow.

This poor couple. I feel so bad for them in this episode.

How… how are the police gonna explain the way he was able to beat himself over the head with a bat??? I…

I love that 5:30 in the morning on TV is clearly like… 10 AM.

Okay, this is a really unrelated point, but the graffiti on the dumpster here reminds me of the Teen Wolf fandoms use of the name Void!Stiles when Stiles Stilinski was possessed by a Nogitsune… I just spent way too long digging through YouTube and my Tumblr tags from back when those episodes were airing looking for a few specific videos and couldn’t find them. The TL;DR reason I bring it up here is goofball, bi-coded main character guy getting possessed by an entity set on destroying the people he loves. SOUNDS LIKE THIS EPISODE AND A WHOLE LOT OF SPN RIGHT. I love that all these monster hunting shows call out to each other.

This scene haunts me years later and I don’t even WATCH Teen Wolf. I just watched the fandom on Tumblr collectively lose it’s shit then tripped down a Hale Pack fanfiction rabbit hole.

ANYWAY

Back to Supernatural, a show that also treated its fan base, cast, and characters like garbage! Huzzah!

DEAN: Well, there’s another way to go—down. (They look down and notice a manhole.)

I’m gonna be mature and ignore the double entendre there…

But I love that Dean thinks of the world in 3D. Which sounds like a dumb statement to make, but this is honestly a good example of that in action.

SAM: I bet this runs right by Zack’s house, too.

Really Sam, sewers run by houses? SO WEIRD. I WOULD HAVE NEVER GUESSED.

DEAN: You know, I just had a sick thought. When the shapeshifter changes shape—maybe it sheds.

SAM: That is sick. (DEAN puts the bloody pile back on the ground.)

Guys, there is a WHOLE ASS EAR in that pile of yuck you’re looking at. I think it’s pretty safe to assume the shapeshifter indeed sheds its skin like a snake. A much… gooier snake.

Sam’s friend is rightfully pissed at him for fucking with the crime scene.

This is before the pearl gripped guns?! Wow. I never noticed that before.

Also, this whole episode gives me feelings.

Cool. Tumblr mobile ate a whole section of my notes on this when it crashed for NO APPARENT REASON. Love that.

It always boggles my mind that actors can trust the people they’re working with enough to let people “tie” ropes around their neck or put them in actually dangerous positions in a scene.

SHAPESHIFTER: He’s sure got issues with you. You got to go to college. He had to stay home. I mean, I had to stay home. With Dad. You don’t think I had dreams of my own? But Dad needed me. Where the hell were you?

SAM: Where is my brother? (The shapeshifter leans in close to SAM.)

SHAPESHIFTER: I am your brother. See, deep down, I’m just jealous. You got friends. You could have a life. Me? I know I’m a freak. And sooner or later, everybody’s gonna leave me. (He backs away.)

SAM: What are you talkin’ about?

SHAPESHIFTER: You left. Hell, I did everything Dad asked me to, and he ditched me, too. No explanation, nothin’, just poof. Left me with your sorry ass. But, still, this life? It’s not without its perks. (He laughs.) I meet the nicest people. Like little Becky. You know, Dean would bang her if he had the chance. Let’s see what happens. (He smiles and covers SAM with a sheet.)

This exchange is just… so much. So many feelings. And I will forever (unless we magically get a fix-it fic mini season someday…) be SO MAD that none of this got resolved in that pointless, trash heap of a finale.

REBECCA: Okay, so, this thing—it can make itself look like anybody?

SHAPESHIFTER: That’s right. (She chuckles.)

REBECCA: Well, what is it, like a genetic freak? (The shapeshifter laughs.)

SHAPESHIFTER: Maybe. Evolution is about mutation, right? So, maybe this thing was born human but was different. Hideous and hated. Until he learned to become someone else. (REBECCA looks around, uncomfortable. The shapeshifter’s eyes glint silver, and he smiles.)

It always amazes me how much of this show is a pile of accidental queer allegories parading around in an ill-fitting toxic masculinity suit.

Vulcan mind meld! I love nerd!Dean. Also, I’m rewatching Star Trek: TOS with my husband, because that is what my life amounts to these days, rewatching comfort TV and flailing over the bits I love.

This post does a better job than I can do of pairing up screen caps with the dialogue of this next scene. SIX EPISODES IN. They’re dumping all of this character depth SIX EPISODES IN. FUCK THIS SHOW FOR NOT EMBRACING ITSELF.

Okay, I love that he screams back in her face after he threw the phone. It’s not something to laugh at because the situation is horrifying, but I can’t help laughing at it every time.

AND THE WAY THEY CUT THESE SCENES. Going from him winding his hand back to backslap her directly to him dropping the chains on the table to show how hard he must have hit her without actually making the actors hit each other. Good job editing department!

I… don’t understand the shifter’s motivation for killing people. If he can take over people’s identities without killing them, why kill them? Is it just because he’s a homicidal, rapist piece of shit? Cause that’s all it seems like.

How did the SWAT team even know she was being attacked? Why can the snipers aim no better than Storm Troopers?

Ugh, these kind of transformation body horror scenes are exactly why werewolf stories have never really appealed to me much. Like, I could do without watching your ribs move and teeth fall out, dude.

BUT.

THIS FUCKING SCENE.

I looked up the song that’s playing over shapeshifter!Dean being caught by the SWAT team and then going through the grotesque transformation. (And as far as I know, the iTunes version has the original music from the episodes.)

This is… a fascinating choice. Here are the rest of the lyrics. The song as a whole has a weird incesty kinda vibe to it? Kinda like when SPN tries to straight-wash itself and misses the mark wildly. (Like Dean’s male siren episode.)

The midnight cowboy line reminded me of 12x11 and the bull riding scene with “Broomstick Cowboy” by Bobby Goldsboro playing over it

Props to the people who can embrace their rewatches and reclamations of the show with ease. Because every episode seems to remind me of how hollow and tragic Dean’s ending was and I just… struggle all over again.

Anyway, back to the episode so I can move on with my day.

REPORTER: An anonymous tip led police to a home in the Central West End, where a S.W.A.T team discovered a local woman bound and gagged. Her attacker, a white male, approximately twenty-four to thirty years of age, was discovered hiding in her home. (A sketch of DEAN appears on the screen.)

DEAN: Man! That’s not even a good picture. (SAM looks around cautiously.)

SAM: It’s good enough. (He walks away.)

DEAN: Man! (He follows SAM.)

(CUT TO: Alley. DEAN and SAM are walking. DEAN steps into a puddle.)

DEAN: Ugh, come on.

I love that we get two tiny little back-to-back vanity moments for Dean here. One commenting on the sketch artist rendition of him being broadcasted on the news and the other tripping in the puddle. There is literally someone running around the city trying to kill people while wearing Dean’s face, but Dean is still concerned with how he looks appears to others. He’s still concerned with keeping up his own performance. The shifter left him with just a t-shirt, so he doesn’t even have his usual comfort layers on and at any moment someone could spot him and call the police or try to kill him for assaulting Sam’s friend. His life is wildly out of control in that moment and the only thing he can try to focus on is his appearance (something semi-controllable) and finding the shifter before any of that other shit can happen.

One day I want to put together a like top 10 episodes focusing on / explaining each TFW character from the series. Like the kind of list you could show someone who’s never seen the show, but has OPINIONS about the characters (or who hasn’t seen the whole show and seen the growth they went through… you know, like the people responsible for the travesty of 15x20). This episode would be on that list. I’m not sure how I could manage to make a list of only 10 episodes to understand Dean Winchester by, but eh.

SAM: What are you gonna do to me?

SHAPESHIFTER: Oh, I’m not gonna do anything. Dean will, though.

SAM: They’ll never catch him.

I think that’s the thing that honestly pisses me off the most these days (about 5 1/2 months from when the finale aired) is that they tried making the whole thing a tragedy but did such an awful job with it that it just ended up like a deflating condom balloon at a dive bar concert. Disappointing and gross. The finale for season 14 set them up SO FUCKING WELL and it just… didn’t get there.

lol you thought there would just be 21 ANYWAY EXTRA 1: how do they spend breaks/vacation?    they'd travel a lot when they're older!! kazunari loves to travel and misumi would follow kazunari anywhere (also, new triangles!!) so they go somewhere new whenever they have the time. however i think eventually one or both of their future careers will take them anywhere and everywhere anyway, so their "ideal vacation" might turn into an evening in, cuddling and catching up (as if they didn't already send play-by-play updates over the phone of whatever they did during the day)

EXTRA 2: first date?     i don't they ever have an explicit first date, but if asked they'll cite the time they had a picnic in the park turned triangle hunt turned accidental dip in the duck pond. at least, kazunari will. misumi just tilts his head and wonders what you mean.

EXTRA 3: gifts?     IM FEELING REALLY CHEESY SO I'M MAKING THIS ABOUT ANNIVERSARY GIFTS they both end up getting each other jewelry (although kazu was really really nervous bc he wasn't sure if misumi would wear it). kazu gets misumi a bracelet (with triangles, of course although misumi only wears it sometimes because he doesn't want to lose it) and misumi gets kazu a pair of triangle earrings "so we can match!" and kazunari combusts at the implications

EXTRA 4: sharing clothes     THEY'RE ACTUALLY AROUND THE SAME SIZE (and tend to wear baggier stuff barring kazu's skinny jeans)... but they have completely different Styles so it's still really obvious when steal each other's stuff ahdjajdkaf. as cute as kazu would look in sumi's sweatshirt i think the much more likely scenario is kazu wrapping misumi in his jackets because this boy nEVER BRINGS HIS ANYWHERE anyway just. accidental shared wardrobe misukazu.

Due to the current and horrible situation of theft I decided to try a different approach. I hope that it helps, I hope that it will flush this person out and I hope that those authors who were wronged felt I handled it well.

To the person who stole your stories I wrote them a private message on FF as follows:

“I decided to write you a private message instead of a public review. I would like to think that maybe you are just shy and worried what others in your fandom would think of your own writing. I am judging by the way that you have taken Klaroline fics and turned them into Steroline fics that Caroline/Stefan is your main pairing. That's fine, great even. Though I am not sure how the Steroline Fandom Community works or handles things but in my fandom, the Klaroline Community; we look out for and after our own.

 You and I both know, along with many others including the authors you have blatantly violated, that you copied other's hard work, changed the names and are passing them off as your own. Why that is, I have no idea, I can only guess out of two things. One; isn’t a very nice option and I would like to think that you are not that mean of a person or that desperate for attention so let’s just skip that one for now. Two; that you really want to write but have no idea where to start.

 Option two is where I would tell you that; as far as how it goes in the Klaroline Community, every single author I know, myself included, would be willing to help you. To read over your original works, offer you advice and support. Maybe they don’t do that sort of thing over in the Steroline Community but I find that hard to believe.

 As an author myself; I know just how much time, effort, blood, sweat and tears go into each and every word we script together. Along with all the excited anxiety that comes as soon as we post something new; will they like it? Will they hate it?

 I can tell you that all of the original works that you stole I have personally read and have been a fan of these authors for a long while now. That being said, I will be very put out if your theft deters them from writing anything new.

 For you I am offering this; My inbox is open to you. If you are too afraid or ashamed to apologize personally, after you remove the stole stories of course, you may do so through me. I am in contact/have ways to contact each of the original authors. If you follow through with this, whether through me or by standing up and putting on your big girl panties and apologizing to them yourself, I will be willing to help you with your own stories by reading over them, editing and so on.

 But if you do not do this I am sorry to say that I will have to report you. The bottom line here is that we all, no matter what fandom we follow, have dreams to become authors and/or enjoy the hobby of writing and telling stories. For anyone to steal someone else’s work and label it as their own is a heartbreaking violation of a code that we authors should follow.

 I hope to hear back from you soon or at the very least hear that you have taken care of this horrible mistake.”
