she's rude to you, even more than she is with some other people. she either acts like you don't exist or she's outright mean to you and puts you down!

she hopes that if she acts like you don't exist or acts as if you're not worth her time, she'll eventually believe it herself and her feelings for you fade away

but they only grow stronger, as you remain kind to her. despite her treatment, you remain friendly and it infuriates her, as well as makes her fall for you even harder!

slowly, lightning begins to treat you a little more kindly. she doesn't want to hurt you anymore, the opposite in fact!

lightning grows protective of you, scaring away anyone who dares to get too close to you! she'll mess them up so much that they don't dare approach you again, isolating you from the people around you

lightning can't admit that she's in love with you, but she can make sure nobody else gets to have you!

Well, this is not much a Hoperai post per say, this is a recommendation for you !

You DEFINITELY should play Nier Automata if you like the Hoperai dynamic 

And if you see this in Nier tag and never played FFXIII, you DEFINITELY SHOULD ! 

FXIII - GOD TIER TRILOGY 

And both games were made by my fav company: Square Enix, so you can expect a nice quality in both games !!!

But back to the ship 

They absolutely have the same vibe as Lightning and Hope, I wish there was a mod where I could use their appearance for a while.

Of course, Hoperai for me still god tier while 9S2B are not 9s2b is SSS+ Tier (it’s almost there but there is one reason that kind bumps me) 

But yeah, that is it, if you were waiting someone to recommend you a good game there you have it ! 

I’m surprised there is not a lot of interaction between the two fandoms.

I am loving this game so far

When I have time, I'll write about FFXIII / FFXIII-2 and how I started to ship Hope Estheim and Eclair, probably will be after I finish LR and Tracer of memories
