Why the fuck am I so fascinated by unreliable egotistical men in fiction? I'm on my second read-through of Lolita, I'm reading American Psycho and one of my favourite shows is Death Note. Seriously, these assholes are so interesting to me. Why??????

I'm spending time with a very old and beloved friend and she keeps showing me old episodes of elementary and I'm just remembering how little I like this show help the copaganda and also it's just very boring and unpleasant to watch and I dont like anyones acting except lucy liu 😭 plus this episode has fiona, the autistic woman, and I personally really do not like how shes introduced since it seems overly clinical and tell dont show and I'm kind of uncomfortable with how they're treating her? and why wouldn't sherlock or joan (who was a doctor) know what autism is? theres a more natural way to work that in.

like. having an explicitly autistic character onscreen is extremely rare and I appreciate the effort but...idk maybe with more screentime we'll see more of her as a person and not as a token NA person who literally is scripted to say 'my brain works differently than yours does' with the implication that her brain also works differently from the audience's NT brain and this ep is not for NA ppl but education/entertainment for NT ppl like you know what I know what it is. It's very alienating. the audience is told 'this person is DIFFERENT' and maybe sherlock is implied also to be but thats not an approach I personally like bc to me it feels very much like the perspective is NT (in this episode) so it ends up doing the opposite of normalizing neurodiversity. but maybe in the next episode with sherlock that'll change! and I'd be interested in hearing other ND ppls thoughts on this character since characters like her are incredibly rare still

You Get Jealous

Summary: Basically, This is a Four Imagine. It’s that part where he helps Tris with her punching skill, And you get jealous and punch your bag even harder out of jealousy and hurt yourself so he comes over to check if your okay.

I punched the bag, hitting it perfect everytime.

I smiled at my improvement and looked around to see if my boyfriend, Four, Was watching. I turned to see him helping Tris, His arms around her, Holding her hands In attempt to help her.

I turned back to the punching bag and anger filled me. I know he was just helping, But I couldn’t help get jealous. Letting out all my anger onto my bag, I hit it as hard as I can over and over.

Peter walked past me, “Looks like Stiff’s stealing your man” He smirked and walked away.

I hit the bag even harder. I hate peter, I hate Tris, I hate Dauntless, I hate the stupid rules, and I hate this Beanbag... I can hate everything, But never Tobias... I’m terrified of love, THIS Is why.

I slowed down because I felt a sharp pain go through my hand. “Shit” I whispered, It hurt’s like hell but I’m not gonna cry, No one cries in Dauntless.

I didn’t let that stop me though, It hurt, Oh god it hurts but I kept punching.

“Hey hey hey hey” I heard that all to familiar deep voice from behind me. I just stood there not even looking at him till he turned me to him. “What?” I said sternly. He furrowed his eyebrows, “What’s wron-” “I don’t know,” I cut him off “How about you go ask Tris” I told him and turned back to the punching bag regretting I said that.

“That’s what’s got you so worked up?” He laughed lightly. “Nevermind just forge-” “No I’m not gonna forget it” He cut me off “Listen to me, You know I was just trying to help, I love you, I would kiss you right now, But they’re watching” He told me. I sighed. “I’ll try to stop talking to her if you want” 

“No, No it’s fine, And I love you too” I told him, and he smiled in return. “By the way you were really good today, And your Hot when your mad” He winked and walked away. 

I blushed furiously smiling, How did I get someone so great? I thought.
