From the garden this week Cauliflower, Mustardgreens, strawberries, cherries and carrots. Can someone tell me why my carrots remind me of my legs? This was my first time growing them but the look like the can walk on by...lol 😆. I also found out that the garden has a cherry tree yeah.. no I need a ladder or someone taller than me to help pick them. Finally got to the garden today to enjoy some quiet time.. what a fruitful day. This is almost the last of the winter veggies. Some spinach, mustard greens, radishes and a cabbage head. I have a cauliflower and romesco growing still. In a week or two my tomato, squash, cucumbers and eggplant seedlings will be ready to go in the ground. It was nice to be outside for a change. Meal prepped for this week is done. Can I tell you how tired I am? I had a vending event, meetings and gardening this weekend. I almost came home sat on the couch and ordered a pizza. However, I didnt want to cheat myself. So I have meatloaf with cauliflower mash and sauteed cabbage, foil roasted chicken with peppers, brown, black, red rice withers sauteed cabbage, chicken salad, tacos, and tomorrow it's a friends birthday so I'm making salmon, bacon wrapped scallops, sauteed spinach and a chopped salad. So this week will have tons of food. I even made a dessert sugar free cheesecake pudding topped with lemon curd... I love me🥰🥰🥰.
